Deidara's and Sasori's Adventures in Equestria!

Appleboom and her team were separated, they were taking the written exam, to her left was Peppermint Twist, in front of her was Diamond Tiara, to her back was Snips, and to her right was Archer. Everypony was separated. She has only done a few questions and was stumped, Sweetie Bell looked like she was ahead. The ponies that were keeping an eye on everypony shocked her, they were AppleJack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, FlutterShy, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, and Cheerilee! Cheerilee was no surprise but, seriously her own sister and her friends! Not to mention now Sweetie Bell knows what Rarity was working on, they were all wearing dark blue, long sleeved shirts and green flak jackets that had pouches on each side of their chest. The jackets even had a neck guard and extra padding over the shoulders. They also wore a bandana with a metal plate on it (kinda like the one Day Dare-Ah wears), on the plate it had a Sun but the left part of the sun was covered by a crescent moon, if anything it looked like a combination of Princess Celestia’s and Princess Luna’s cutie-marks.

All this was making the situation feel all too real. The pressure was intense, and it wasn’t loosening. Applebloom need answers, NOW!

“Lets see, the forth question says: ‘If a ninja at point A threw a kuni to point B but landed at point D or E because the second ninja threw a kuni to point C but landed at point E or D, if they intersected which kuni belongs to which ninja?’ Oh, ah don’t know!!! Wait…maybe Twist or Archer know the answer! But ah can’t cheat-.......wait an apple-bucking minuet! THEY TRICKED US!!!! This is a ninja exam! Ninja are sneaky, they stalk ponies and kick butt! So….cheating on a dumb test should be as easy as askin’ Pinkie Pie to throw a birthday party! So, if cheating is the point, but gettin’ caught is breaking the rules...... Ah need to use my sensory ninja skills to get the answers!”

She looked to see how far her friends were, Sweetie Bell was at the top left of the class room, Scootaloo was at the bottom left, and Button mash was several desks in front of the Rainbow Dash fan. They were all to far away for the little apple-bucker to talk too. Passing a note was too noticeable. She was in the middle of the class room. She needed to use this to her advantage. She then got an idea, she slowly opened up her bag, in it was throwing knifes or “Kuni”, throwing stars aka “Shuriken”, white pieces of paper, pieces of paper that had red writing on it, there was a lot fishing line, and some scrolls. None of this could help her.

She then got an idea. She closed her eyes, and listened carefully, suddenly....Diamond Tiara began humming...and when she stopped Silver Spoon began humming....

“Again?!....they’ve been doin’ that a lot...... Wait...maybe if ah...” She listened closely to the humming....

Diamond hummed a strange tune that sounded like the words were, “Do you know the answer to number four?”

Then Silver hummed a tune that sounded like the words were, “No, but the answer to number five is C...”

“Just as ah thought! Their actually talkin’ in code! I can use this!”

Button Mash was stressing out, he was stuck on the forth question. He looked around and began to think, “I know for a fact that the point is to cheat! Why else would ninjas have to take a test? But how? How can I cheat?...I need to think outside the box.....c’mon! Think!!! I can’t get caught, but I have to cheat!” He looked at the window, and saw a reflection, something popped up in his head, he opened his bag, he got his Joy-Boy, and then opened his ninja bag. He saw the kuni, shuriken, the weird papers, fishing line, and scrolls. He got some of the fishing line and a shuriken. He stabbed the side under his desk with the shuriken, he got the fishing line and tied one side to the gaming device and the other end though the hole in the ninja weapon and tide the end of it to his pencil. He then moved and slightly pulled his pencil, he smiled when he saw his Joy-Boy move, and the reflection showed Snail’s paper. “OH YEAH! Who’s a ninja? ME! I'm a ninja!”

Sweetie Bell was under some major heat, this wasn’t good, she was stuck on the twelfth question, and she still has ten more to go!

“All right lets see: ‘A ninja was chasing a thief, they ran ten miles east, and the thief was caught when he headed several miles north, if the victorious ninja has to run for three hours to get back to his village with the thief in hoof, how many miles did they run altogether?’... do these questions always have to be so challenging?!” She face-desked, this was just precarious! How in the name of the sun was she supposed to answer it? She lifted her head and looked around, she saw that Apple Bloom was writing something. How was it that she figured out an answer after being stuck for several minuets? Button Mash on the other hoof was writing answers as if he knew them all....and Scootaloo was struggling.

Sweetie Bell then got a small idea, she knew that it was going to be easy to pull off but it was better than nothing. She looked at all the headbands that her sister and her friends wore, she could see some reflections of her peers’s papers. She quickly jutted down the answers that she saw, “When Rarity finds out, I’m gonna be grounded for weeks!”

Scootaloo was stuck, she saw that Button, AB, and Sweetie were stuck too but they miraculously just got the answers. Scootaloo looked down at her question, “‘Question 10: If found against a criminal who stronger than you, which would work in your favor?

A: Strategy

B: Brute Force

C: Your Teammate’s help

D: Retreat

E: A and C

F: none of the above.’”

She rolled her eyes. How the hell is there an answer to this one? Any one of them could be the answer. Scootaloo has envisioned all the answers, but still any one of them could be it. Welp, when all else fails just choose C or E...she chose E....

Soon after several minuets, Day Dare-Ah and Sad Story came back to the classroom, they both shouted, “TIMES UP!”.

Everypony put their pencils down.

Day smiled at the obedience, “Now I’m sure you all did your best, but I must say that you've all been fooled, hmm.”

The students were shocked.

“The point wasn't to answer correctly but to cheat.” Story stated.

“WHAT?!” most of the class said while Button shouted “I KNEW IT!!!”

“Very observant Button, it will get you far.” Day said honorably, “But you see the point is: if a ninja can’t do something as simple as cheating on a test without getting caught, then what kind of ninja are they, hmm?”

Suddenly a bunch of white-bat-like creatures came down from the ceiling.

“Thanks to Deidara’s clay bats, we were able to keep an eye on all of you.” Story said, “Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, that was pretty smart of you to hum in code to contact each other, but I’m afraid it was too obvious, isn't that right Applebloom?”

Appleboom was shocked, “Uh,...yes sir...”

“Button Mash you also impressed us when you used a shuriken, fishing line, your gaming devise, and your pencil, just to use the reflection on the screen to see the answers on the paper behind you!” Day commented, “It was unexpected and very smart, hmm.”

“I agree, it was very unexpected. But I must say, you should keep it up! It will be useful to your team!” Story evaluated.

“Th-...thank you!” Button said, grateful.

After their evaluation, with all the teams ready they headed to the Everfree Forest. Once they got there, all the teams were given a scroll. Team Moon Reader (aka The Cutie-Mark Crusaders) were given a Heaven Scroll. With that, Day Dare-Ah and Sad Story gave them a lecture in a dead-serious tone.

“It’s a straight rode from here, and we have very little advice to give you!”

“Remember to only open the scrolls when you get to the ruins, hmm!”

“Trust your team!”

“Do not get separated from your team, that can be a large disadvantage!”

“Don’t kill each other!”

“And lastly, DON’T LOOK BACK!”

They had every team be twelve feet apart, a sudden mist shrouded the forest. Then on the count of three, they would all run head first into the forest...

One....

Two.....

Three!

All the teams ran into the forest as fast as they could!

Deidara and Sasori watched as the teams ran into the forest.

“Now we can test the youth’s power and endurance.” Sasori whispered.

“Yeah, I have a vote for Team Moon Reader, what about you, hmm?” Deidara mumbled.

“For once we agree on something...”

They both beamed at each other.

“THAT WAS AWESOME!!!” Rainbow Dash shouted, “The way you made it look like this was actually The Forest of Death, you guys are seriously AWESOME!”

“Why, thank you Rainbow.” Sasori said like a butler.

“*COUGH*kiss-her*COUGH*” Deidara joked, which caused Sasori to slug him.

“Well, we should be off to the ruins.” Twilight said, wondering how they are going to get there.

“Oh yeah,” Deidara said, he put a hoof in his bag and got some clay, which he molded into a bird, he then used his chakra and spat it out, causing it to grow to a story high.

“Wow, Day Dare-Ah! I knew you can make many things, but this is just amazing.” Twilight exclaimed.

“The detail is simply divine!” Rarity commented.

Sasori rolled his eyes, “Looks like you got some fans.”

Deidara just stuck his tongue out at the fellow Akatsuki member.

They all got on to the clay bird and flew strait to the ruins.

Applebloom and the crusaders were deep in the forest. She couldn't help but worry that they didn't know what they've gotten themselves into.

“Guys.” she blurted.

“Yeah?” Button said. Scootaloo and Sweetie just looked at the earth ponies.

“Ah, think we should start workin on a plan, and go through our bags. Ah mean who knows what’s gonna happen to us out here!” AB said worried.

“You’re right, this is a test that ninjas take! If some die in a test like this, who knows what kind of danger we’re in...” Button agreed.

“Yeah.” Scootaloo said.

“Lets do this!” Sweetie smiled.

They stopped under a tree and opened up their bags and examined their contents.

Scootaloo had more than enough weapons, but there was a bunch of scrolls that probably had a bunch of weapons stored in them, which they will need to use magic to get...

Sweetie Bell, had more medical supplies than anything, shed had enough weapons though.

Appleboom and Button Mash had the same amount of scrolls and weapons.

They all looked at each other.

“Alright, I have an idea, we need to replace one of these scrolls with the Heaven Scroll, so we can make the others think that one of the weapon scrolls is the Heaven Scroll.” Button mumbled.

“What?!” Scoots whispered.

“Think about it, we wont be down for the count if we do this.” the gamer argued, “So... who is going to get the Heaven Scroll?”

“Ah will.”

They all looked at AB.

“Its our best choice. Ah’m stronger than all of ya. Not to mention ah’m a sensory ninja. I’ll be our best bet in this.” AB stated.

“She’s right.” Sweetie agreed.

“Yeah she is.” Button sighed, he hoofed over the scroll, “Here, keep it safe.”

The fellow earth pony smiled as she took the Heaven Scroll and gave him a regular scroll.

“Now for a strategy....”

Several minuets passed as they planned. Once they were done they began to once again head straight to the ruins. When they were halfway there, they were ambushed!

“HEY THERE BLANK-FLANKS!!!”

“Oh for the love of Luna’s mane!” Button cursed, as Team Crown revealed themselves.

“Just give us the scroll so we don’t have to beat your sorry flanks.” Silver Spoon said evilly.

“No way!” AB shouted, “This is an all to good time for some payback!”

“Just give us the scroll I don’t want to fight a bunch of girls.” Snips said.

“HEY I’M A BOY!” Button growled.

“OOoooooh we’re soooo scared.” Diamond said sarcastically.

Team Moon Reader got out one of their kuni, and got in a stance that showed that they were serious and ready to fight. Team Crown did the same, except they didn’t hold the weapons seriously, Snips used his magic to hold his weapon. They all stared each other down, waiting for the other to attack.

“Guys! Strategy A! Lets go!!!” Button Shouted.

“Right!” The girls said.

Scootaloo jumped up as high as she could and unleashed a flurry of weapons at Team Crown, who just ran away unknowingly getting separated. Applebloom ran towards Diamond, AB tried to stab the rich filly’s shoulder but was blocked by her kuni. Now the rich girl was taking the situation seriously.

Button Mash was fighting Snips, who was just moving the kuni around with his magic, while Button held his weapon in his hoof and blocked the attacks with it as he got closer to the unicorn.

Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo tailed Silver who tried to attack them, but was punched by Scootaloo, the rich earth filly fell into a puddle of mud and cried. Sweetie took the rich girl’s bags and searched it.

Button got close to Snips and hit him in the horn, causing him a great deal of pain, forcing the unicorn to stop using his magic. Snips fell to the ground and whimpered in pain as the earth colt stole his bags.

Diamond noticed her friend in the mud, but didn't act, she slightly cursed when she saw Snips crying like a baby. She continued the fight. She attempted to stab Applebloom, but failed because she dodged. AB spun around quickly and bucked Diamond in the chest causing the fellow earth filly to loose the air in her lungs. The only thing the wealthy filly could do is cry as the apple-bucker took her bags.

“That’s for teasin’ me and mah friends when we did absolutely NOTHIN’ to you to deserve yer cruelty!” AB growled.

She and her team looked threw the bags and to no surprise it was in Snips’s bags. The scroll was an Earth scroll, thankfully. They left the bags and continued their way to the ruins.

They ended up running into Team Candle: Pipsqueak, Twist, and Feather Weight.

“So ya’ll are finished too!” Applebloom exclaimed.

“Aye, we beat those scallywags down!” Pipsqueak said prideful, his Cockney accent, showing how much of a pirate he is, “T’was a mighty amazing battle!”

“You thould have theen Pip! He wath amazing!” Twist said, her lisp dominating all the ‘s’s .

“No I wasn't, Feathers, now ya should've seen him! He is certainly one heck of a fighter!” Pip said, admiring the Pegasus.

“Oh, come on! I wasn't that good!” Feather said, blushing.

“Oh, c’mon! Its your special talent!” Scootaloo said with a bright smile.

Meanwhile at the ruins (when Team Crown ambushed Team Moon Reader)...

Cheerilee watch as Sad Story was teaching Twilight how to play Shogi, Rainbow Dash and Rarity were admiring how they look in the shinobi outfits, AppleJack and Pinkie Pie were wondering how the students were doing, so they watched as Day Dare-Ah was meditating in order to see what his clay bats were seeing.

“Well that’s interesting...” Day said opening an eye.

“What is it?” Story asked.

“What wrong? Is Applebloom okay?” AJ asked.

“Is Sweetie Bell alright?!” Rarity asked.

“The Crusaders have been ambushed by Team Crown.” Day smiled, “They’re fighting their enemies...”

“Well isn’t that an interesting situation...” Story said intrigued.

“Oh, I hope they’ll be alright...”Twilight said, worried.

Day closed his eyes and stayed quiet for a moment. Then he spoke, “It was a quick fight... the Crusaders are the victors.”

“That is no surprise.” Story said moving one of the Shogi pieces, “Checkmate.”

“I still can’t believe that your home has such gruesome traditions.” Twilight sighed, as she and Story started a new game.

“I think its kinda cool!” Dash smiled.

“I think it needs a little more parties and less meanies!” Pinkie said, obviously.

“I think the designs of the outfits you all described, is absolutely fabulous.” Rarity commented, levitating her mirror to see her reflection, “Thanks to you, my art block is gone!”

“Ya’ll may have some strange traditions, but its amazin’ to see just how far ya came.” AJ said, looking at Sad Story.

“....yeah, the two of you must have been through such awful things!” FlutterShy said nervously.

“Indeed.” Cheerilee agreed

“Oh you have no idea.” Story responded.

“I better get the losing teams.” Day said making a clay owl, big enough for the six kids to ride on, “FlutterShy, do you mind helping me?”

“Um...okay....” Flutters said hopping onto the bird and sat next the fellow Pegasus.

“*COUGH*-GET-MARRIED-ALREADY-*COUGH*” Rainbow joked, which caused Story to chuckle.

Day’s and Flutter’s faces turned a bright red. Day made several clay butterflies and sent them flying to Dash who flew away when he said “Katsu!”

The bird took off, as Day huffed while Flutters said “Oh...my...”

While the two pegasi got all the kids who lost the exam onto the bird, FlutterShy couldn’t help but think, “Day Dare-Ah is a nice colt when you get to know him..........and I do have to admit it....he is a handsome stallion...”

The two teams were in the ruins, they both of their scrolls and unrolled them, making two “X”s, suddenly there was a puff of smoke, when the smoke cleared, Rarity was standing on the scrolls that Team Candle laid and Rainbow Dash was standing on the scrolls that the Crusaders laid. The two mares congratulated them and lead them to the room where they all had to fight in. they immediately noticed that the loosing team was sitting on the balconies in the room. There was also Twilight Sparkle, FlutterShy, AppleJack, Pinkie Pie, Miss Cheerilee, Sad Story, and Day Dare-Ah.

Rainbow got Rarity and flew up to the balconies.

“Now, in order to make this a fair fight one of the members of Team Moon Reader, needs to resign.” Story said, “We will let you decide.”

“I will.” Sweetie Bell said quickly.

“What?” Scootaloo shouted, “Are you sure?”

“Yes, besides, I can’t use my magic. You all will do better without me.” Sweetie smiled, “I’ll cheer you on!”

“Right.” Applebloom said.

They group hugged. Day flew down and said, “Need a lift?”

Sweetie nodded. He picked her up and flew her to Rarity.

“The first fight will be Appleboom versus Peppermint Twist!” Twilight said sternly.

Day, Dash, and Flutters got the other members and flew them to the balconies, leaving AB and Twist alone on the floor.

“Now, when you’re ready begin!” Day said.

Twist and Applebloom made some distance from each other, then stared off at one another.

“Thorry Applebloom but I’m gonna win thith fight!” Twist got a kuni and held it in her hoof.

Applebloom did the same, “That’s what you think!”

Twist and AB charged at each other, swinging their kuni at each other, but they both hit the other’s kuni, they were both standing on their hind legs. AB then kicked Twist, causing her the fall, allowing the Apple-kin to hit her in the back.

Sasori watched the fight carefully, Deidara was doing the same.

“How interesting.......She is defiantly AppleJack’s little sister! Strong minded, honest, strong willed, and aims for the weakest points. It may be a ‘cheep shot’ but it’s the smartest thing to do when facing an opponent that you’d rather not deal with. Telling by how she’s fighting she wants to end this quickly...” Sasori thought as he analyzed the fight.

Peppermint cried out in pain when AB struck her in the back as she fell. But she wasn’t a quitter, so she bit the Apple-kin’s tail, as she bit down on the hair on the red tail, with all her might, she swung Applebloom around, when she let go, AB was thrown across the room.

As Applebloom got up she asked “Howd jya-?”

“Thwing you around so easily like that?” Twist cut off, “Many yearth of getting many orderth for giant peppermint thtickth! With all the lifting of large orderth of candy can give you one heck of a workout.”

Applebloom saw that they both dropped their weapons. She cursed underneath her breath, she got some shuriken and threw them at Twist who dodged them. AB gritted her teeth, she then charged at the fellow earth filly. When she tried to tackle her, Twist dodged, but she knew that it would happen, so she spun around and bucked Peppermint in the side, causing her to stumble. Applebloom swiftly hit Twist on the back of the head, knocking her out.

“As I thought! She did make quick work of it...” Sasori thought as he said, “Obviously, Applebloom is the winner.”

Deidara flew and gently got Twist while FlutterShy got Applebloom they flew them up to the balconies.

“The next fight will be Pipsqueak against Button Mash!” Sasori said, using his chakra strings to levitate the two fighters.

The two earth colts stared at each other.

Pipsqueak was the first to speak, “Sorry matey but just because Applebloom won that last fight, doesn't mean you’ll win this one.”

Button chuckled, “And just because your short doesn't mean I’ll go easy.”

Pipsqueak glared at Button and shouted, “EY! I’M NOT SHORT! JUST BECAUSE MY NAME IS PIPSQUEAK DOESN'T MEAN THAT I’M SHORT!!! I’M STILL GROWIN!!!”

Button started to laugh, “Whatever.....shorty.”

Pipsqueak got a kuni and charged at the gamer.
