Deidara's and Sasori's Adventures in Equestria!

Applebloom woke up due to the rooster howling its ‘cock-a-doodle-doo’ when Celestia raises the sun. The little apple-bucker got up and began to get ready to go to school, once she finished, she said “Bye, Granny Smith, bye, Big Mac, bye AppleJack!!!” as she ran out the door to see her friends outside waiting for her. Scootaloo was on her scooter, and Sweetie Bell and the newest member, Button Mash, were in the wagon that was connected to the scooter.

AB hopped into the wagon, which allowed Scootaloo to start driving. The little earth filly began to think about something, something that she need to talk to her friends about.

“Yall, haven’t ya noticed that AJ and the others were actin’ kind of weird yesterday?” Applebloom asked.

“Yeah, Rarity was making something in her room, but she wouldn't let me see it at all!!!” Sweetie Bell exclaimed, “Not to mention, she kept saying ‘No one must see them until they’re finished! They’re going to be a master piece!!!’. Whatever it is that she’s making, it must be important. She stayed in her room all day yesterday, and kept the door locked whenever she left the room!”

“Rainbow Dash wasn't taking care of the weather yesterday, or practicing any of her newest stunts! Not to mention I saw her talking with Sad Story, she was giving him strange looks...wonder why.” Scootaloo said as she was avoiding ponies that were going about their daily lives.

“I don’t really know what you’re talking about...” Button said glumly, “I didn't really get here until the night before yesterday, I didn't meet them”

“Ts’all right Button, we’ll tell ya bout them after school.” AB smiled, Button smiled back.

Soon they reached the school, they continued the topic as they sat at their desks. They and the class went silent when Miss Cheerilee walked in.

“Class I have a very special surprise for you! Two special ponies took their time to come here to talk to about where they came from!” Cheerilee said happily.

Applebloom and Sweetie Bell exchanged looks, yesterday they talked about two ponies that their sisters had been talking about, it couldn't be....

“Mister Day Dare-Ah, Mister Sad Story, you may come in!” Cheerilee beamed.

The two colts that the fillies guessed walked in.

“Thank you Cheerilee-sensei.” Day said with a smile.

“Indeed, its truly an honor!” Story said, his usually dead blunt tone cracking.

“No, the honor is all mine. You can take the class from here!” Cheerilee walked to the back of the class room so she could let the two colts have room.

“Well class as you know I’m Sasori”

“And I’m Deidara”

They both began to talk about their home and how even though that they lived far apart and have many differences, they both share similar traits.

Sad Story’s home was in the middle of a desert and most of the ‘kage’ there all could control a sand-like substance, the one he made his puppet after could control ‘Iron Sand’, another could control ‘Gold Sand’, and the current one can control the desert’s sand, aka he could control the desert it self! The village is filled with ninja who are puppeteers like him, and other ninja who can perform wind magic.

Day-Dare-Ah’s home on the other hoof was in a very rocky and mountainous area, most of the ‘kage’ there were earth and unicorn ponies that somehow had the ability to fly. The second ‘kage’ and the current (which is the third) ‘kage’ can use dust magic, or as Day likes to call it ‘dust release’, which can give the caster the ability to shrink their opponent to the size of dust causing the opponent to die instantly. The Village is filled with ninja that can use earth magic and the occasional explosion magic like Day. They even talked about other lands that were filled with all kinds of magic.

But the similarities are that all ‘kage’ want to protect their homeland, and that the ninja want the same thing. They all do their best on the missions that they are given, but every once in a while there is a ninja that doesn't come back, and/or died in battle. Other similarities are the exams ninja take in order to get a higher rank. Day and Story said that there is officially three ranks of ninja and six kinds of ninja, the three ranks are Genin, Chunin, and Jounin, the six kinds of ninja, are normal, medical, sensory, ambu, sage, puppeteers, Terrorist Bombers, Arsonists, and the Kage.

It was easy for the crusaders to tell that Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were thinking that the two ninja were lying.

Diamond raised a hoof.

“Yes, Diamond Tiara?” Story said, his voice blunt as narrator.

“If the two of you are ninja, could you give us a demonstration?” Diamond smiled cockily.

“We were going to do it anyways, now seems like a good time, hmm.” Day grinned, “Why not?”

“We’re going to have to go outside, come on.” Story said signaling everypony to fallow him.

When they all got outside, Sad Story and Day Dare-Ah made some distance between each other and the class. There were two logs that were a great distance from the ninja. Day stood on his hind legs and got some shuriken, he threw them at one of the logs, each shuriken laded on target making a straight line down the middle of the log, each star was an even distance from each other. Sad Story used his magic to get some shuriken from his bag, he then threw the stars at the other log, they made a straight line down the middle of the log and each star was an even distance from each other.

Diamond and Silver were in shock, all the other students and Cheerilee clapped their hooves.

Deidara and Sasori bowed to the crowd, then high-fiv-....I mean- bro-hoofed each other. They smiled, they both knew it was the perfect time.

They turned to the class.

“Now that’s over and done with; class, Deidara and I have a little project for you.” Sasori smiled.

“Really?!” a small colt known as Button Mash said with excitement in his voice.

“Yes really.” Sasori said calmly, “Deidara....”

Deidara shook his head, “You all will be the first ponies in Equestria to EVER take the Chunin Exams. Now don‘t be afraid, its going to be in the Everfree Forest, and the danger is decreased dramatically. Sasori and I even made sure that the chance of getting attacked by Timber Wolves is decreased as well. So no need to worry, hmm.”

Sasori got a small spare scroll that he prepared for this little occasion and summoned all of things it contained. “We’ve even prepared these bags for all of you.”

“These bags contain everything you need to get through the forest and meet us at the castles ruins of the two regal sister which is in the dead center of the forest. Some of these bags have supplies that others don’t have, but that’s because this is all about team work, hmm.”

“Speaking of teams, we’re assigning them,...well except one....”

“Oh yeah, we already have one! The Cutie-mark Crusaders! Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, Scootaloo, and Button Mash, hmm.”

The fillies and colt that were called out stepped up, nervously.

“You will be the only team of four. Now for all of you to be assigned the type of ninja you will be. ” Sasori used his chakra strings and levitated four bags, “Sweetie Bell, you will be the medical ninja.” he place the bag on the unicorn filly, “With this status, you and other medical-nin will be responsible for taking care of the injuries of your teammates, but don’t take this as a setback or think that you will have to be protected at all costs! You can still fight for your team, there is even a medical ninja in the Hidden Leaf Village that can kill someone with a single punch! A lot may rest on your shoulders but there is never a dull moment.”

He then looks at the next filly, “Applebloom, you will be the sensory ninja,” he gives her the bag, “You and other sensory-nin will be responsible for sensing if an opponent or if a possible threat is near by. It may be possible for other ninja to sense things like that, but a sensory-nin has higher senses than anyone else! Be cautious.”

Next, “Scootaloo, you will be the arsonist, you and other arsonists will be responsible for the care of keeping your teammates prepared and making sure that they have at least a few weapons to defend themselves. But with this status, you will be able to have a nearly unlimited supply of weapons to throw at your opponent! You will be counted on at times so don’t let this power go to your head.”

Finally the last one, “Button Mash, you will be a normal ninja, this is not a disadvantage, but an advantage. For ninja with a normal status like you, will be considered the unpredictable ones, and the ones to be relied on the most! For you see, this will allow you to have the ability to have more than one approach and the ability to strategize. As a strategist you will be responsible for how your team takes to different situations. Be well, and think things through. For this exam, your team will be known as ‘Team Moon Reader’.”

Applebloom and her team were happy with their team name and status. They smiled and watched as the teams were given and called.

With all the teams ready its time for them to take the written exam to start off the Chunin Exam!
