Love At First.... Something?
This Chapter Isn't Really From Anybody's Point Of View.
The sun rose over the outskirts of Ponyville, a blinding glow shining in different directions in order to light up the entirety of Equestria. Strong beams of light reflected off of one particular household.Inside lived a mare called Dreamcatcher. She had a cream colored coat topped off with a royal blue mane and tail. There was just one complication, she was blind.
Ever since she was born she had been diagnosed with blindness for life, and has always had great difficulty managing her everyday life. Despite the fact that everypony in town knew about her condition, Dreamcatcher always felt like she was in somepony elses way.
She was just in the middle of yet another dream where she didn't have any problems when her perfect world was interrupted by a small knocking on the door. Dreamcatcher sat up, taking her usual tumble as she attempted to climb out of bed. Her mother would usually be there to assist her, but was attending a course in Canterlot for a week.
" Just coming " she yelled as loudly as she could, quickly try to get back on to all fours to avoid annoying whoever might of been waiting at the door. In desperation to move quicker, she accidentally misplaced herself and ended up colliding with one of the walls in her room.
After about a minute she finally managed to make her way to the top of the stairs which Dreamcatcher would of taken about 5 minutes to walk down if it weren't for the fact that she went crashing down to the ground below.
" Are you okay in there? " a voice bellowed from outside the door.
" Never better! " she lied, once again struggling to resume her normal posture. She carefully positioned her hoofs, trying her best to avoid further injury. Taking a misturn, she walked right into the living room and into the window which appeared to be fully opened. Unfortunately, gravity failed to have sympathy for Dreamcatcher and sent her flying to the ground once again. She landed right in front of the hooves of a ocean blue pony with white flowing hair with a light blue stripe located on her fringe.
" Umm... are you alright? " the mare asked, trying to assist the pony who lay before her. Suddenly realizing that Dreamcatcher was blind, she forcefully grabbed her and threw her onto her hooves.
Dreamcatcher rubbed her head with a hoof, mumbling something that seemed like she held a grudge against the fact that she had been helped like that.
" Yeah, I'm fine. I trip over all the time, you could say I'm used to it "
" I see. Uh.. I'm not entirely sure how we're going to get back into your house but I'm sure that we- "
" Just use the door, obviously. " Dreamcatcher smiled, pointing to thin air. The pony standing next to her lowered Dreamcatchers hoof.
" It'd be a good idea but, it'll be locked since you just made your way out the window " she mumbled. She layed her hoof on the door, expecting it to be locked shut. " See? It's bolted shut like I said. " She tapped on it once or twice to prove her point, before the door flicking right open leaving the ocean blue mare lying helplessly on the ground.
" Like I said, just.. use the door. I don't lock it because well, I don't know how to. " Dreamcatcher told her, un-noticeably walking over the mare as if she were a doormat.
A few minutes later they were sitting face to face on the sofa's in Dreamcatcher's living room..
" Anyway, I'd better be introducing myself. My name's Moonlight Charm and I'm the psychologist you requested. I've come all the way from Cloudsdale, so your lucky to have such a considerate person such as myself to be able to be happy to wake up to fly down here. " Moonlight Charm explained, seeming as if she was about to fall asleep on the sofa.
" So, are there any problems that you would like me to help you with? " she asked, trying to throw on a small smile despite knowing that Dreamcatcher couldn't see it.
" Well, for starters I'd like to be able to socialize a bit more often. I'm too scared to go out in public, afraid that others will see me differently and laugh at me. I'm also way too clumsy, I'd probably end up ruining everything if I even tried to walk out there. "
" Have you ever been out there before? " Moonlight responded, trying to gather as much information as possible.
" Yes, some laughed at my appearance . They said something about my hair, and.. something about bubbles. Im not sure what that was about, but I had drunk some coffee before I went out that day. "
" I think I can help you with your hair, Im not entirely sure what the whole entire bubbles and coffee thing is about. May I ask how often you brush your hair? " Moonlight asked, looking at what might be a re-created birds next on a pony's head.
" Um.. well when my Mum was staying around she would do it everyday. But about a month ago she left on a buisiness trip, she won't be returning for a year or maybe longer. I would brush it myself but... the truth is.. well.. I don't really know how to brush it. " she replied, wearing a sad look on her face.
" Well, maybe I can teach you. Infact, I could teach you a lot of new things if you really wanted me too. "
" You would do that? "
" Well, yeah. What better way to earn a raise in my job to pay off the rent! " she giggled, and Dreamcatcher couldn't help but let out a laugh too.
" Now, let's see.. I've got the hairbrush right here. Here, take my hoof. " she said, taking hold of a smooth cream hoof. Slowly, Moonlight started to guide the hairbrush down the back of Dreamcatcher's head. It was painful for Dreamcatcher at first, but after a few minutes of extreme complaining, the hair was flowing gently down her back. " We're almost done, just a few more strokes to go. "
" Oh? When will you let me do it without your support? Dreamcatcher asked, still feeling as if someone was holding on to her.
" You already are " she replied, Dreamcatcher had been brushing her hair by herself since about five minutes after they started to brush her hair. Dreamcatcher was full of happiness, and she couldn't hold it in. She hugged Moonlight around the wings. It was uncomfortable for Moonlight, but she decided that she wouldn't mind this time. Just this once, she would let something stay the same. Somehow the hug felt different to how others would usually do it.
" Thank you, Moonlight " Dreamcatcher whispered, slowly but surely falling asleep on Moonlight.
" You're very welcome, now let's get you off to bed " she replied, helping Dreamcatcher onto her hoofs, and taking one to hold for herself. " I'll help you up the stairs if you like " she said gently, walking out of the room with Dreamcatcher safely in her sight. There was a special bond secretly forming between Dreamcatcher and Moonlight Charm, they just needed to discover it for themselves first.

Love At First.... Something?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This chapter is from Moonlight Charm's point of view, the permission has been accepted by the owner of Moonlight Charm.
I woke up the next morning on a red fluffy sofa, recalling memories of last night. How I felt so comfortable being with that mare at first sight, I thought to myself that I must be going crazy and that I'd probably get over it soon. But somehow I just couldn't get her out of my mind, no matter how hard I tried.
I looked up at the clock perching above the door, it was round about 11am. I had always been a heavy sleeper, but I would usually sleep in until about 1pm. It seemed that Dreamcatcher was just waking up as well, according to the noise that was echoing around the house from upstairs. I should probably go and help her, even though it may be a bit difficult considering that we stayed up rather late last night.
It seemed that my assistance wasn't required that morning as Dreamcatcher had actually perfectly managed to get down the stairs without tripping or falling. It seems to be that she's quite good at figuring out where other ponies are by listening to their hooves move across the floorboards. She managed to figure out I was there, and looked towards my direction before saying something that almost put me on the edge of tears of happiness.
" Did you see that, Moonlight? I made it down the stairs myself without falling! I told myself that I knew I had somebody who believed in me, you made me confident enough to do it. If it weren't for you being here, I would of tripped. Thank you.... thank you very much for believing in me. " she smiled. I know it wasn't much but even that small line of saying how I helped her just by believing that she could do her best made me feel emotional about it.
" That's good to know, would you like me to help you prepare your breakfast? " I asked, still feeling flattered by her words.
" No thank you, I can do it myself like usual. It's always the same, coffee. I don't really seem to eat in the mornings, coffee seems to be my wake up call. " she replied, walking into a dirty kitchen. I looked in there myself, staring at the dirt locked in between the tiles. There were pieces of glass shattered around the place as well, I suddenly noticed several scars on the bottom of Dreamcatcher's hooves. Perhaps she had trodden on the glass before, it's an easy thing to do.
I walked back into the living room, which is when I noticed the coffee jar sitting on the cabinet.
" Hey Dreamcatcher, I thought you were having coffee for breakfast? " I asked her, curious as to why she had gone in to the kitchen.
" I fwam, I just fwad eht! " a weird, bubbly voice came from the kitchen. Several moments later she walked back into my sight, bubbles pouring out from her mouth.
" I think we've found your bubble problem... " I muttered quietly to myself. " Uh.. Dreamcatcher.. how do I put this.. that's not coffee you've been drinking " I awkwardly replied, watching more and more bubbles appear.
" Twhis is nwot cwofee? " she asked me. It was getting even harder to understand her with all those bubbles in her mouth.
" No.. that's uh.. washing up liquid. Washing up liquid is used for washing your dishes, not for drinking, Dreamcatcher. " I explained, trying to make it sound as simple as possible. I saw the look of disappointment on her face, as if she was ashamed of herself for doing it.
" Let me just help you with that " I said, walking to the kitchen before rummaging through the different cupboards. A few minutes later I found what I was looking for, I returned an empty bucket. This was going to be a messy job, but I had no idea how else to do this.
" Now, all I need you to do is spit the bubbles out of your mouth, try and do it straight though. Don't worry, I'll catch them. " I prepared the bucket int he direction that she was aiming. But the next thing I knew, I was sitting there covered in bubbles myself. It seemed that I had misjudged it completely.
" Done it! " she proudly exclaimed, assuming that she had got it in the bucket. I laughed it off, pretending as if I didn't really mind.
" You sure did! Now, I'll prepare you some proper coffee. But soon after that I must.. well.. if it would be alright to use your restroom for a quick shower. " Not many ponies would let me use their facilities at such short notice, but I would keep asking anyway.
" Of course you can, feel free to use anything that will make you feel more at home. Speaking of which, when are you going back? " I hadn't been thinking of that at all, I had no intentions of going back anytime soon. I didn't want to feel as if I was intruding on her privacy so I thought of the only option that I could.
" Well, as long as you want me to I suppose. Just tell me when you've had enough and I'll be gone, if you want me to stay I'll be more then happy to. " I smiled, gently rubbing one hoof against the other as if I was rather shy. But, I was more of kind of hoping to stay just a little longer with her. It's not like me at all but, I've got to make sure she's safe. After all, that's my duty. To make sure that she is happy, and that she grows up to have the best life that she possibly can.
" Stay as long as you wish, I don't feel like your invading or anything. The company is actually quite nice! " She seemed rather happy about the idea of me staying longer, and I liked it too. "
" Then I shall stay for as long as you need or want me " I replied " Now come on, I'll teach you what real proper coffee looks like. "
I boiled the kettle, and prepared the coffee in a mug for her. I helped her to put it to her mouth, and Dreamcatcher was extremely satisfied with it as well. She laughed and said " It tastes so much better then that washing up stuff! I'm glad your here for me. It's nice to be with you. "
I watched her gulp down the coffee, and thought to myself without saying a word ..It's nice to be with you as well..
I can truly feel something special between us, even though it's so soon I just feel so close to her already.
I don't know why I feel like this, but I'm not sure if these feelings will stop... I don't think I want them too either.
