The Four Horses of the Apocalypse

Death, Pestilence

The day in Ponyville lasted for hours, as did the battle between Death and the cyan pegasus. Pestilence found out about her type of species when she over heard a brown pony with a gray mane yelling for Pegasi to bring rain clouds to the fire Death and the cyan Pegasus started an hour ago.

The cyan Pegasus was exhausted from the long fight she was having with Death, but Death wasn't tired. No, with his lungs no longer existing, he can't ever be tired.

"Give up now because I'll win, I always win.Me, Rainbow Dash!" The Pegasus said between breaths,

"I admire your pride, Rainbow Dash." Nopony could tell but he was grinning."Too bad there's a punishment for it." and with that said Death ran toward the Pegasus. Rainbow flew in the air as well, intending to dive bomb him, but Death was smarter. During mid-sprint, he turned in the opposite direction and used all his strength to buck Rainbow Dash in the face.

She was sent flying, unconscious before she even hit the floor.

"Come along Pestilence, we have work to do."

Pestilence walked to him with a smile on her face, she hadn't seen Death buck that hard since the attack on the cube world, where a mortal tried to mount him. Death didn't take it lightly and got him in the gut, killing him instantly.

"So Death huh?" Pestilence was walking besides him, exploring the the town.

Death was quite fond of his name.

"I can say the same thing for you, Pestilence."

"So what does this object look like, the one we have to destroy?" Pestilence was cheerful, having a name for once was the second best thing to happen to her. The first was the very first apocalypse she saw.

"I'm not sure, Master Famine said it was either in a hot area or a cold area. They're usually in the coldest regions of the planet so we'll look there, but we can't do anything without the other two." Death answered.

"You're right, last time one of us tried to do it alone. Turned out it needed all four of us to break it." Pestilence remembered,

        "so I guess we'll have to wait here for the others."

"How do you know they'll come here?"

"I don't, I'm just guessing, I was correct last time, remember?"

"Right, alright let's just explore the place more till we see them."

War

"I must leave Fluttershy, I have to find my brothers and sister." War was trying to leave but Fluttershy was holding him back.

"B-but you can't there was an explosion a-and a fire," Fluttershy was using all her strength to stop him from leaving, he wasn't injured but what if he did, she didn't want that to happen.

"Then those must be them, thank you for helping but I must leave to assist them." War desperately tried to get out the door,

'That and your somehow making me go soft, I'm not suppose to be soft I'm War! The horse that the horseman War rides, a behemoth of strength and power, I'm not suppose to be weak!

"O-okay, I'll let you go." She hugged him,"But come back as soon as you can."

War didn't like the fact he was becoming weak, but to give up information about where he's from? Even his master's master would kill him, and he's as immortal as his rider.

"If I can." And he ran out the door, heading towards the town, Ponyville.

War was running as if the angels were coming to get him, he finally made it to the town and began his search for his partners. 'Were are they? In fact how could they not see me, I'm big, red, and on fire! It's impossible to miss those three, even if they are together.' War searched everywhere his last spot to check was the market place,' This is the last spot if they aren't here I'll destroy this place for wasting my time.'

The market place was empty, and stretched farther than any regular market place dreamed of. 'Where could they-ah there they are.' War spotted the two undead ponies, they were trying to get a vendor to sell them a black robe for Death, in the end they took it and walked a bit till they met War.

"Is that you, War's Horse?" Death asked.

"It has to be him, I mean, look at him! He's big, he's red, and he's on fire! How could that not be War's Horse?" Was Pestilence's answer.

"It's just War now, anyway, here the master loaded their weapons so we don't get mounted again."

War turned his body to the side revealing Master Pestilence's vials of diseases and Master Dearth's scythe.

"So War huh, well pleasure to re-meet you, this is Pestilence and I am Death." He point to Pestilence and to himself,"And judging by how our three names are I'd think Famine's horse named himself Famine as well, where ever he is."

"And that with all the commotion you two have been doing I think the mortal sent in their military." War added.

"what make you say that?" Pestilence asked.

"Them." War pointed up, a flock of pegasi were hovering around them and in all foot soldiers came running in all the alleyways.

"Surrender now and no harm will be done to you." A pegasus said In the flock said,"If you do not cooperate were are authorized to use force."

"To Heaven with surrender, we aren't gonna give up that easily!" War shouted in the sky.

"Very well, Earth squad attack!"The order was given and a massive amount of earth ponies cam rushing at them with swords, but the stopped moving and all of them went wide eyed.

The three immortals glowed red and when the light died down horns were place on their foreheads, and they picked up their respect weapons and began attacking as if they knew how to use it. Soldiers were being slain, Death twirled his scythe with massive speed and flung in the crowd decapitating the soldiers, Pestilence three potion after potion vial after vial and them either melting them or they dropped dead on the spot, War was the only one moving he had the alley with the most room making more soldiers come his way, but nothing passed the fiery horse and lived. He picked up his sword from his side. A grand sword bigger than the wielder himself, and began to swing and destroy everything in its path. Arcs of fire produces from the sword, burning anything that was not in range. They killed the last of the earth soldiers.

Every soldier was shocked, afraid, pissed, and some even tried to flee, but the captain ordered another attack.

"Unicorn squad, Fire!" The unicorns were teleporting everywhere, firing magic blasts at them, but the blasts were deflects and sent back. Some exploded, killing more then the blast intended. The captain was at a loss of words, he had but one squad left. Would he risk it just to save the lives of others?

"P-pegasi squad, attack!" One after another pegasi began swooping down trying to cut them with the swords manufactured to fit on the front of their wings, but every swipe was a waste. Either they would die before the can fly back up or the impact to their swords, and Pestilence's personal shield would send them flying to the floor. One even tried to head butt War but was split in half by his sword before he can even get close.

"Regroup now!" The captain ordered, not even a hundred pegasi were in the sky. The attack, no the massacre destroyed the captain's battalion. For once in a long time, he was scared, scared of what would happen next. And what happened next made him scream like a girl on the inside.

The three looked up, a red glow surrounded them and died down once more. Keeping the horns for their weapons, wings suddenly appeared, War's were big, red, and on fire,"Figures they would look like this."

Pestilence's wings were decaying as well as her body,

"Well these look pretty"

And Death's wings were just the bones of the wings but he knew he could still take flight,

"If my body can defy psychics, why not my wings."

The three took to the skies, soldiers tried to flee,but we're killed before they could get far. One soldier was left and by his appearance he had to have been the captain,"Wh-what are you?" The captain was too scared to attack, know that if he did he would never return home just like the soldiers he once commanded.

"We are The Horses of the Apocalypse," Death said, pushing his scythe to the captains throat,"I am Death, this is War, and That is Pestilence. Our brother Famine is missing at the moment, but if you find him may your god have mercy on your soul because you can not run from him, you can not run from us because we will bring forth the apocalypse and this world shall be destroyed, now go and spread the word that we have arrived. You will tell everyone about us or the potion will kill you."

"What potion?" The captain was terrified.

"Why the potion I threw at you of course, not feeling the impact was one of the trigger effect." Pestilence said, dancing around in the sky with her new wings.

"You will tell the people of this town, your leaders, and tell them to send word to the leaders of the other countries that live here or your death will be painful and slow. Now go!" War ordered, the captain flew as fast as he can, on the death mission of telling everyone and his leaders about this new undying threat that has plagued this world.

The three landed and there wings and horns horns vanished,

"Aw, but I liked my wings." Pestilence said slight sadness

"I'm sure they'll come back eventually but for now let's find Famine, let's hope no one pissed him off, for a small fry he is deadly when provoked." War has answered and stated.

"Yes, let's go find our brother Famine."Death said, putting on his new robe.
