Luna, who has been through much more than one should have to go through returns home to the same depressing conditions as 1000 years ago. Having been tortured by Nightmare Moon all those years she's in a very dark place. Despite everyone hating her, she continues to love and care for everyone in the land, especial her older sister who ignores her. She must once again face nightmare moon as she is not gone yet. This battle will determine the fate of Equestria as they know it.
