Queen Inferno

The sounds of buzzing electricity, beeping control panels, gauges frantically trying to reach the marked "nominal" green zone as machines begin to show signs of life in an rather big room or more like a small warehouse. An alter of six pillars of stone emitting a strange, but familiar glow. A shot of a light beam enters the center of the alter which turns into a ball of energy which slowly builds in diameter. At the opposite end of where the beam originated a smaller tower of stone modified with a machine as a controller. at the head of the controls stood two brothers Daring Sprocket a builder and fixer of sorts his motto "I can fix anything and everything." and his faithful but dotty, feather brain brother Star Sabre who in fact is an excellent flier just tends to not know how or when to stop.

"Star how are we doing so far" says Daring

"Um all green, small ball getting bigger." replies Star.

"Perfect, its working better than I expected!"

The crystal energy ball slowly opens in the middle light now emitting from the towers create a door way from the middle of the now enlarged mass of energy. An emergency siren sounds off at the control switch the energy is warping.

"Daring the energy is red! yells Star.

"No the time rift is not going to last!"as daring looks around to see the wires are violently shaking.

Daring follows the wires to a box where the energy generator should be. He views the generator as its shaking violently the heavy box is sitting on the supply line. As he runs to the box, to his surprise a screw falls on his head he looks up to find that the shelves are starting to fall. The vibration of the generator is starting to knock the screws loose. As he quickly thinks of a way to fix this, Star shouts "brother the ball its shrinking!"

"Don't worry, I'm on it" replies Daring.

Daring kicks the box to the wall and a screwdriver flies out into Daring's mouth. Daring jumps onto the box and proceeds to jump in the air while executing a couple of somersaults to quickly screw in all of the shelves. he lands to the ground and pose like an Olympic mare. "Its getting bigger brother" Star shouts as daring looks back at the generator to see it stop shaking and now its humming beautifully.

"Star is it ready"Daring blurts out hoping star can here

"yes brother press the button" star shouts

Daring walks up to the control panel. Hopefully we pull the rite mare that grey one was a disaster took me a long time to fix this and send her back oh well here goes nothing. Daring thinking to himself, pushes the button, the ball's shine grows brighter till the whole room is filled with a white light. A scream followed by a thud is heard from the alter the light subsides and daring walks up to lump of unconsciousness.

"hello" he replies as the mare comes two she screams and jumps back hitting her head against the wall knocking her unconscious again.

"hello hello Miss its time to wake up" Daring says softly

"wh..wha...whats going on"

"HI THERE!" smiles Star

"ahh whats going on" frieghten by Stars enthusiasm

"Star can you grab the apple tea for our guest?"daring pushes Star out to calm the nervous mare.

"yes brother" Star walks out of the big living room which is filled with all kinds of books which makes the mare fill some what at ease. The fact that she is in a new surrounding has her questioning her sanity Daring quickly picks up on this feeling.

"please miss forgive us for pulling you from your world it was very urgent."

"why am I so disoriented" as she falls on her stomache.

Daring pulls her to her hooves. She wobbles and nearly falls but Daring catches her. "woopsy daisy, it should clear soon you where just pulled from your time?" replies Daring

"thank you but how did you manage such a feat with out magic mister?" replies  miss

"ah where are my manners my name is Daring. Daring sprocket and this is my brother Star. Star Sabre"

Star walks out with a tea cup with an apple slice in the cup with two hay biscuits  on the side."how do you do miss?"replies Star

"Its Twilight Sparkle nice to meet you Daring, Star"

"Miss Twilight-"begins Daring

'Please just call me Twilight"

"Twilight let me tell you it is a pleasure meeting one of the original legendary Mane 6" with much excitement Daring shakes her hooves furiously Twilight pulls away from him.

"Original? you mean there are more?"exclaimed Twilight

Star butts in "brother your manners" A sigh from his own disappointment, Daring realizes what he was doing "huh oh sorry Twilight I guess seeing you here got me pretty excited but we were actually trying to pull someone else and I guess we pulled you instead"

"who were you trying to get originally?" says Twilight who looks at all of the books and sees Star grab an old scroll which to her looks familiar. Star hands her the scroll and its the scroll she made a day before she was teleported to this world. Star shows her the name on the top of the scroll.

"Princess Celestia? What did you need her for and why couldn't you request an audience to see her?" Daring sighs and walks to the window a view of forests and storm clouds forming over them.

"I'm sorry to say Twilight but me and Star have never heard or seen any Princess Celestia"

Daring looks on as the rain starts. Star looks at Daring then turns to Twilight " because we only have one princess and her name is Princess Luna; she very pretty"

"what my brother Star means is that there is no record of any Princess Celestia"

With hearing the shocking news of no Princess Celestia in Equestria from Daring and Star, Twilight spits her tea out and runs to the door and looks out side. And to her amazement she sees nothing but forest.

"wh..where are we"twilight runs up and down the yard

"we are in the Everfree forest or what used to be it now its just a normal forest" says Star who walks up to Twilight.

"Please Twilight we will tell you everything" shouts Daring from the house

Twilight walks back in to the house she then proceeds to sit on the sofa and take a sip of her apple tea in which Daring poured he a new cup. She then sits the cup down and sighs. "OK I'm ready" Daring gets up and begins to pace back and forth trying to sum up the whole story.

"Before we begin Miss Twilight I ask that all questions are to be held until later."

Twilight looks at Star who nods and smile she then take another sip of tea. She nods her head in agreement. "Let me tell you of our history of Princess Luna's heroic battle against the one we call Queen Inferno. It was around the time that you realized your true destiny. There was an important assignment that was given to you by Princess Luna. You were to escort a prisoner to an underworld by a portal that Luna formed. The underworld where no one could escape unless you where an alicorn, but there where some unforeseen complications in the transport; someone or something freed the prisoner and both of them dissapeared. There was a wide search with the palace guards led by the brave Shining Armor your brother. But to no avail it was then the very next night there was an uproar in the palace Shining Armor began to fight an unknown opponent but was quickly defeated. As he was recovering his wife Princess Cadence met the foe it was the prisoner that escaped but there was something different about the prisoner she was more evil than ever it seem she gained more power over the course of three nights, that the prisoner dissapeared and the prisoner then became to call herself Queen Inferno."

Star interjects as Daring stops to catch his breath. "You see Twilight it was then that Princess Luna began to order a banishment of the prisoner to the sun and the ones to carry out this mission was you and the legendary mane 6 with the aid of the elements of harmony. Then tragedy stroke the Queen began to take out the mane 6. With the lost of your friends you were enraged and began to use the elements yourself. Luna tried to stop you but to no avail as you and Queen inferno battled which ended with both of you to lose your lives and the elements obliterated by the shock of the explosion. Ponyville was caught in the blast and a massive hole stands were Ponyville is today." With a shocking expression on her muzzle Twilight hesitates to ask.

"Ho..how many years have past b...before-"

Daring speaks up "before the events of Queen Inferno. Im sorry to say this Twilight but it has been over 1,000 years?" As soon as Twilight hears 1,000 years she faints again.
