Queen Inferno

Twilight regains consciousness only to find that she was placed in the bed, pillow and sheets of silk. Colored of a satin purple a tall canopy stand around the bed sun light pierces threw blinding the groggy pony. Still disoriented from the time shift Twilight lifts her head and view the room she is in. It is a normal room bigger then her room but has nice furniture that matches the color of the bed. There are two large windows open with curtains covering most of the penetrating light and sounds of birds fill the room. A small breeze carry a scent of fresh watered flowers, the smell is so enticing that Twilight's stomach groans. As she looks out of the window she sees a familiar statue sitting in what looks to be a garden full of flowers. She looks closer and see that the statue is discord in a very peculiar pose. It looks like he was bowing down before he was turned to stone.

"Discord! What happened to you?" What did Discord do to be turned back in to a statue and why is he bowing?

Before Twilight can think of a way to explain this to herself a shadowy figure flies from above, a silhouette of a dragon circles the garden before landing. The dragon lands gracefully to a faceplant and slides into the rose bed full of thorns. As the smoke arises its a purple figure with green spikes "Spike?" Twilight galloping out to the garden. As she gets closer she yells out again "Spike!" the dragon turns around and Twilight slows down. Its a female dragon, she never seen one before and this particular dragon looks just like Spike but slender, more agile.

"Ah I did it again why cant I ever land properly? Ow this thorn is stuck in my nose."

Twilight approaches " here let me see if i can get that out for you"

Twilight uses her magic to pull the thorn out from the dragons nose with success.

"ow ow owowowowowoowowowowowowow" the dragon rubs her nose "thank you um"

Twilight cheers up "its Twilight Twilight Sparkle"

"Wait THE Twilight Sparkle!"

"um yeah"

"omg Omg OMG"

The female dragon jumps up and down in excitement circling Twilight frantically, it was as if Twilight was a famous celebrity well i guess in this time frame I am a celebrity  Twilight shrugs the idea off as to not cause her head to swell even more, she stops the young dragon by lifting her in the air. Twilight looks at her with amazement as she tries to understand what the very excited dragon is saying, it kind of reminds her of Spike when he gets excited.

"um and who might you be, you look awfully familiar" as Twilight lowers the half sized dragon down.

"well my name is Amethyst but you can call me Ame Im a dragon hybred known as a DRAGORN and I believe you know my parents."

"hmm well you do favor Spike"

"correct! he is my father and who is my mother"

"well your a petite full dragon" Twilight walks around Ame scanning her features.

"yup that I am"

"and your spikes flow more like a familiar mane which is purple with a green steak"

"um yes, yes it does" Ame twirls around looking at her mane spikes.

As Twilight looks Ame up and down she notices some thing that dragons never have,

"A CU..CU...CUTIE MARK!?"surprised by this new discovery a dragon with a cutie mark some thing like this has never existed back in twilights time well not thet she know of. A dragon favoring a pony with a cutie mark of a scroll crossed with a sewing needle. The scroll Twilight can guess because Spike was her assistant he sent scrolls to celestia and recieved them all the time. But the sewing neddle it didn't make sense, Spike never sew he just wasnt in to needles at all.

"YUP YUP YUP!" Ame grew more anxious

"OK I give up" Twilight gave up the thought of who Ame's mother could be.

Ame sighs in dissapointment and walks up to Twilight to whisper in her ear. Twilight blushes and yells out so loud that all of the birds in everfree forest flies off.

"RARITY!"

"YUP YUP YUP YUP"

"bu..but how, it cant be physically possible, I mean a dragon and a pony can't..." Twilight trots up and down the little path in the garden talking to herself trying to figure things out.

"um Twi its a spell my mother used"

"what spell can join a unicorn to a dragon?"

"its a change spell sort of like what changelings can use but permanent she turned into a dragon."

"but how did she get a spell that powerfull let a lone how to properly exicute it"

Ame begin to tell Twilight about how Rarity asked Twilight and celestia to help her look for a spell that will aid her love for Spike even more, they both found the spell that could change everytihng.  Daring trots outside and notices Ame with the puzzled pony. "Star can you grab the tea for four and please be careful as to not trip out here"

"um ok brother" as Star turns around he trips and the pots fall on his head.  Daring sighs and leaves Star to his chore.

"Ame! what brings you to the garden it must be vary important for you to fly so far" shouts Daring.

"Oh Daring good morning and yes it is very important that I see you may I come inside" as Ame finally calms down her and Twilight trots in side.

"So Ame where are you from" asks Twilight

"Oh I'm from Canterlot I serve in the royal palace as a record keeper, scroll writer and messenger for Princess Luna"

"just like your father Spike. It sound so weird that Spike and Rarity is your parents" as Twilight reminisce about Spike and his love for rarity, Daring ask Ame for the message.

"yes here is the message Daring" Ame puts out here claw and a scroll emerges from a purple flame.

"hmm its from princess Luna. It says that we should meet her for the Grand Galloping Gala with Twilight as a guest star. Well that means we should get prepared, Ame I require your expertise."

"oh are we going to make it" Ame gets very excited

"what are you going to make" replies Twilight

"Twilight my dear we are going to make your gown"Daring replies

"my my gown?"

"yes because you were invited and by Luna"

"yes but how did she know that I was here"

"while you where asleep I sent a letter to Luna stating the situation" Twilight began to follow Daring and Ame back to the house to prepare for Princess Luna's important announcement.

The sunset a reminder of celestia is even more radiant then usual or more radiant then what Twilight coould remember; a beautiful orange accompanied by gentle breeze and the sounds of woodland creatures fill the yard as if it is a grand orchestra lead by Octavia. The sounds of heavy machinery, sewing machine with the faint sound of joy, laughter and mind cracking screams quickly replaces the beautifull forest sounds. Twilight shakes her head and leaves the yard to go turn in for the rest of the night. The next day the door slams open as Star wakes up from the sound smoke clears and Twilight begins to walk out of her room only to be quickly grabed by Ame, held against her will. Star falls back to sleep only to be awaken by twilights high pitch squeel.

Her mane is done in the style of rarity but with more flow as Luna's mane the dress adds to the flow with a true purple tone. It looks as if it can make Twilight fly which it probably can knowing Daring, who had a hand in its creation but the mastery of the gown resembles rarity's art. Twilight looks into the mirror which is propped up by Star who the begins to fall asleep. Twilight looks on from head to toe and tears begin to swell up with the remebrance of rarity. Ame looks on and she begins to also tear up and eventually cries as she herself relise the fact that she now has someone who can tell her if she has masterd her mothers style.

"Twilight I know that this is sudden, after you have been summoned here, but am I just as good as my mother or do i need improv-"  Ame before she could finish her statement Twilight rushes and gives Ame a big hug. As Ame is surprised with the gesture she returns the favorable hug. Daring notices Star is about to fall out, Daring rushes in and stops him and the mirror from breaking all over his unnoticed, sleepy brother.

"star get up!"

"I'm up I'm up"

The group heads to the the carriage and Twilight notices there is no one is there to pull it.

"don't worry we have the best flier in all of Equestria" Daring walks over to Ame and pats her on the wing.

"but not so good at landing yet" Ame says as she puts the yoke on her shoulders. Twilight gets in the carriage. "Well I have hopes that you will land easily"

As Ame begins to take off, there was an sonic rainboom and a crash near by.

"A sonic rainboom i didn't think any one else could do that!"exclaims Twilight

"no its more common now well since rainbow dashes grand children can do it now but which one is it?" Daring looks through the smoke

"tro-trouble oh my gosh oh my gosh Daring wheres Daring" the smoke clears away and pops out a colt that looks like rainbow dash but a male.

Daring grabs the colt " rainbow blitz get a hold of yourself" Daring proceeds to slap the colt senseless.

"ah ha your being slapped by him rainbow ditz!"

"stick a apple in it butter knife"

"that's sabre to you ditzy"

"Star, Blitz stop it now!"Daring interrupts before it got out of hand

Twilight interjects by clearing her throat "ah hem um Daring he looks just like-"

"yeah he is a direct decedent of Rainbow Dash our cousin Rainbow Ditz i mean Blitz he is part of Luna's royal guard" RB looks at Twilight and smiles waving but quickly snaps out of it as he remembers an important info that he has to give.

"Daring there's an urgent royal message at the palace come quick no time to explain"

"ok hop in blitz, Ame take off"

"Ame ok here we go"

Ame runs and begins to flap her wings and with the last push of her wings their already at the palace

"bu but how did we-!" Twilight exclaims

Daring looks and chuckles at twilights mangled hair from the sudden teleport burst and tries to fix it for the awe struck pony.

"best not get in to the detail Twi"

Twilight looks around the palace which hasn't changed much in the thousand years unless you count the new wall laced with pony controlled turret towers, on all corners of the palace. but The group easily enters the palace gates and is quickly met by the chief of command, shining shield, who looks like shining armor but more tan. "Quickly Luna requests your presence!" The four ponies plus Ame the dragorn enters what seems to be a busy train station as all of the ponies run around carrying papers. There Luna stands in the center giving commands to each of her loyal subjects, commands that will help relieve the pressure of future concerns as she anticipates what will happen when she is away.

"Ah Daring, Star thank you for making it. Hello my sister Twilight Sparkle"

"Princess Luna! its been a long time" Twilight runs to her but gaurds quickly entercepts and Twilight is pushed back as if she was a threat.

"MOVE OUT THE WAY!" Luna using her royal voice to push the gaurds away.

"not as long as you will soon realize, I've missed you so my sister and ally"

the two mare hug and squeal as shining Shield gets in between the two

"I'm sorry my princess we cant just trust anyone not yet at least"

"YOU FOOL Twilight Sparkel is the one who helped me through my most troubled of times, I suggest you fine a way to build security very quickly."

"yes my liege" shinning quickly comamands the gaurds to rise to there feet and to outline the perimeter of the room.

"my guests and Twilight i will now tell you of my dire troubles"

"what is it princess what ever it is we will all help in any way we can" exclaims Twilight which is followed by nods from everyone else.

"it is time for my royal slumber in which I will only have one person in the room to go in and out for my needs. I will also temporarily transform the royal guards to unicorns they alone will have the power needed to protect me."

"princess is it time already for the royal slumber?" Daring has the concerned look on his face

"indeed it is Daring and in that time i will have you star Ame and Blitz do every thing that you can in order to keep Equestria running smoothly."

As the room fell silenced the sound of the clock sounds and all looks up. "it is time follow me Twilight everypony I trust in your success as it will lead me to be a better leader" Twilight follows Luna and as the door slowly closes Luna looks back and sees everypony wave goodbye. "My best freind Twilight it shall be your duty to take gaurd and be the barrier if any thing is to come in. It will be an influence that will affect me and I will not be the same Luna that stands before you." Luna stresses the fact that she must not be disturbed during the royal slumber. Twilight begins to think of away to protect the tired royal mare.

"I have a plan princess Luna" Twilight reassures the princess

"thank you my bes- no...my sister twi" a sigh of relief pass over Luna as if a burden has finally lifted but Luna knows its only the beginning.

Luna begins to slide into the bed and quickly falls asleep. A glow of purple hue, the same hue of a uv light you usually see at a rave envelopes Luna's entire body. Twilight thinks of pinkie pie; she would put a harness on Luna lift her up and spin her around a couple of mirrors, as vinyl would play wub wub fest. Twilight shakes her head as that would end badly. Luna slowly rises in the air, she stops and a loud roar was heard through out Canterlot. Twilight covers her ears and looks up to a site unbecoming of a royal princess, Luna is snoring so loud that the walls shake. Twilight then proceed to put her plan in motion with one addition, with the use of her power she developes a sphere around Luna; a barrier that blocks sound out as well as in. Every thing returns to normal as Twilight fights between concentrating on the spell and luaghing histerically. She walks to the door and tells a gaurd to have Daring come to the room. The gaurd trots off and Daring knocks on the door.

"enter"Twilight calls

"Twilight you ask for me?"

"Daring i made a sound barrier which i have to concentrate i ask that because i only have 24 hours before i need to replenish myself i need a gaurd to take over while i rest."

" i have some one better then a guard, Ame will take over she is a powerful dragorn with the stamina of a dragon and the power of a unicorn, she can last for two days and is trusted by Luna."

"Ame is a perfect choice but can she really hold a spell for two days?"

"she tried it before long story but i will have her come to the room and you can both catch up and talk."

"thank you Daring"

"no problem twi"

Daring exists and Twilight sits to concentrate on the spell. outside of the palace a pony in a hooded cape shows up quietly so as not to disturb everyone else the unknown pony leaps into Luna's balcony. Twilight unaware of the danger that looms on the balcony, concentrates on the spell a shield surrounding Luna. The unknown pony slowly opens the window and prepares to throw something then Ame burst into the room and towards the balcony just in time before the shrouded pony could strike. She opens the door and looks out side as the unknown poony disappears. A sigh of rielef, Twilight looks on in amazement as Ame closes the window.

"omg Twi are you ok?"Ame dragon rage subsides

"yes Ame thank you but who...who was that"

"it must have been the celestial order" Daring walks in to see if everything is alright

"celestial order?" Twilight questions this new information as Daring continues

"yes it is a rather old order, that is to say new during your time its a guild in which its main mission is to over throw Luna's reign. lets just say its not the first time we have ran into some problems along the way."

"you see Twilight some of the fellow ponies have turned against Luna" Ame interjects

"is it because she was once nightmare moon?" Twilight fears that because of her untimely death, is what caused a rebellion against Luna.

"who is night mare moon?" ask Daring

"oh umm nevermind what I said please continue."

Ame further explains"umm it was because the fight between you and queen inferno some ponies thought that alicorns have to much power to rule over so instead a group of ponies decieded to form a guild and to destroy Luna's reputation and over throw the system of princess rule and in turn make it a democratic country."

"that will never work eventually the rich will have everything  and leav the poor with nothing but misserys." Twilight thinks of the place she once visited in another world and she clears her throat. Daring looks at the orb that surrounds Luna and is surprise that Twilight have not yet broke her concentration.

"twi are you ok with that spell or do you want Ame to take over?"

Daring is concerned of twilights health and shows that Ame is ready for the task at hand.

"umm i dont mind a break" Twilight gives her hoof to Ame and the power was transfered over.
