The Mysterious Letter

The Sun was shining down on Twilight through the curtains which gave an annoyed groan from the sleeping alicorn.

Spike was already awake and making breakfast Twilight could smell the pancakes from her bed and decided that it indeed was time to wake up.

“Spike have you taken in the mail?” Twilight was asking the baby dragon as she was walking down the stairs.

“Good morning Twilight, no i did not get the mail.” Spike said while he was tossing a pancake from the pan on to a plate.

“You can read the mail while eating these delicious pancakes i made for you.”

Walking out to the mailbox Twilight noticed that the package for the library has arrived

“Ohh finally Ponyville library's copy of War and peace has arrived that’s good.”

Floating the rest of the mail with her magic Twilight went in to the kitchen with the letters and started going thru them.

“Bill, Newsletter, letter with rose attached to it, Another bill” Twilight went wide eyed as she went back to the letter withe the rose to it.

“What is this? it is addressed to me but who sends letter’s with roses? hmm lets see what it says.”

Dear Twilight Sparkle

You don’t know who i’am but just know that i have recently discover my feeling for you.

This feeling is Love, i really like you Twilight Sparkle and i really hope you feel the same way when i tell you who i’am but for now i’am satisfied with whatsing (yes i know thats not creepy).

I will send you a letter each week until i’am ready to reveal myself so for now my love i have to say bye because this letter is getting long.

Twilight was looking at the letter and read it several times to process what she just read.

“Someone loves me and wishes to stay anonymous? I have to admit that it is flattering and all but i just wish i knew who it was.”

Twilight sat the letter on the table she picked up the rose and started to wonder.

“maybe i should go and ask Roseluck if anypony have bought rose’s from her lately. But first” she get’s a vase from the shelf and fills it with water and putes the rose in the vase.

“hay Twilight before you go to Roseluck you may want to eat your pancakes before they get cold.”

Twilight looked away from the rose and back to her breakfast and started to eat her the pancakes.

Twilight was walking towards the market to speak to Roseluck to maybe find out who sent her that letter declaring their love for her.

Arriving at Roseluck’s flower stall she saw Roseluck waving at her with a smile on her face.

“Good afternoon Twilight, is there anything i can help you with today?”

“good afternoon Roseluck, i was just wondering if someone have bought a rose from you lately?”

Roseluck looked at Twilight with a confused look.

“Why do you want to know that?”

Twilight let out a small sigh and looked around.

“I got a letter this morning with a rose to it, and it had no name the only clue i have that might have sent it was the rose that come with the letter so i was wondering if you might know who it was.”

Roseluck but a hoof the her cheek.

“Well only two ponies have bought roses from me in the last week, Rainbow Dash altho she bought two of my best roses and did not tell me why.

Fluttershy also bought a rose and she told me it was for her mother. And then there was Lyra with i’am guessing she will give to Bon-bon. So i don’t really know who sent you that letter but if i were you i would just wait and see what happens.”

Twilight looked at Roseluck with wide eyes and her mouth hang open, she now had a suspect, but it can’t be Rainbow Dash she was one of Twilight's closest friends.

she thought about what Roseluck said and said to herself that it was the best course of action, to just wait and see and beside the letter said the mysterious pony would send letter each week with more info until the sender was comfortable with revealing her self.

“Thank you for that bit of advice Roseluck i think that that may be the best course for now and thanks have a good day.”

“No problem Twilight have a good day yourself.”

With that Twilight made her way back to the library to start reading the new book that arrived at the library this morning, she had really nothing better to do for now,  other then just wait for the next letter.

Twilight was reading the new book while having a cup of tea, she could not concentrate on the book her thoughts keep her on the letter and the mysterious stranger that sent it.

She was broken out of her thoughts when she heard a  knock on the door.

“Come in” Twilight said while placing a bookmark in the book.

The door opens and revale a rainbow-maned, cyan coated pegasus, Rainbow Dash was the last pony she expected to come through the door today.

“Heya Twilight, what's going on?”Rainbow says while she flies in to the library.

“Hello Rainbow, nothing significant is happening today. What brings you hear today?”

Rainbow was hovering around the library looking for the book she was looking for.

“Oh i was just picking up a book for Rarity she was busy with one of her dress orders so she asked me to pick up a book for her, she told me she was looking a book called ‘Golden Girl’.”

“Again? this must be the fifth or sixth time she borrowed that book, did she tell you why she wanted that book?” Twilight said while getting the book form it’s shelf.

Rainbow took the book out of Twilight’s magical aura and landed in the middle of the library.

“Hmm? umm no i don’t think so but i would guess that she just thinks that it is such a good story that she wants to read it again.”

Takin the book in under her wing she opened the door and looked back at Twilight.

“i better get this to her as soon as possible so i can get back to work, see you latter Twi.”

Twilight watched Rainbow gallop down the street of Ponyville wondering why Rainbow did a favor for Rarity while she had work, maybe she was on her lunch break.

Closing the door and returning to the book she was reading she thought that if she wanted Rainbow to get into romance novels she would recommend Golden girl, maybe Rarity dose that before her.
