Chapter 1View OnlineTogether We're HomefreeChapter 1Well here we are. The first chapter of this tale, where to begin? How about I introduce my self. My name is C, I'm 16 years old. (I don't think there is no need for my or any real name since it has nothing really important to do with the story) I live in a small town in skane county, Sweden. I have not much to say more than it's the place where all the swedish redneck vandals hang out. Nothing special ever happens here more than that someone fills the town fountain with soap or throw firecrackers at people while driving by in their volvos, other than that it's quite peaceful. There I live with my family wich consists of 5 people, me, my brother, sister and my parents. My parents are separated which actually doesn't affect me very much because they still hang out. I am a Brony, you probably already have figured that out because, I mean look what page you're on, it was obivous. I have lived in this town all my life which is not very long but long enough. All of my childhood friends live here, J, J2, L, B, E and a bunch of others! Me and J have been friends since elementary school and are still good friends. I remember the times we used to run around the football field and roleplay "Pokémon" and "W40k Dawn of War". Man, those were the days. We also played alot of "Champions of Norrath" and "Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3", Naruto is super fun the first like 10 matches then after that it just turns in to a monopoly game, very aggresive. Now J2 have been my friend since preschool, We usally just sat at each others house and played videogames. Mostly "Command and Conquer Generals" or "W40k Dawn of War" L I have "known" since the day I came out of the womb. He is a couple of days older but still that's a pretty long time! He would occasionally join in with me and J from time to time and have a grand ol' three vs. three poké battle. B is this chick that I have had a crush on since the first time we met, I know it sounds kinda "cliché" like but I really feel we have a connection. She is this beutiful foreign girl that is a pegasister/otaku kinda girl who also gets straghit A's all the time! Do you see my situation? Fun fact about me and her, I once asked her if she wanted to be my girlfriend and she rejected me. It's really deprssing but I have "kinda" grown over it. I still want her but I'm not going to force her. You gotta live with what you get. E I have only know for 3-4 years because we didn't go to the same school but we are one weird couple! We just scream things like " you little gosh dang banana peel!",( there are more things that we scream to eachother that can not be mentioned here) as I said we're a weird couple of kids. Now there is one person so awesome,weird and funny that I haven't mentioned yet. He is my favourite pal and my best friend. His name is A. He doesn't live in the town but not to far from it. He went to my elementary school for about a year and we still keep good contact. A is one year younger than me but still acts like he's in my age, And he is also a Brony. I was the one to "convert" him to bronyism. (Like it's some kind of religion.) For some reason J2 doesn't like him. He says A is annoying, but A calls him a "fjortis". (It's a swedish term used as the type of people who get wasted and think they're mature when they barely have any money, job or house to live in.) Even though J2 is anything but that.Me and A have so much history. He also joined in when we roleplayed. He did everything for me and I returned the favor. We usually just talk about new thing we heard of and the people we dislike. Our friendship is a very special one, I feel like he is the only one to understand me properly. Some times we went for a walk, others we played videogames. Sometimes we played with his little brother. We both also agreed on the console we think is the best, which is the Ps2. Do you want know why? It's simple really, it has pretty fairly good graphics, many good games and if it or a game "brakes" just wait a week or two then it will work properly again. Some people might disagree but everybody has their opinion. One cold October night me and A were taking a stroll, we walked around the place where he lives. After a while of walking around town we decided to take a right at the old firestation which led us to the woods. I took both my hand and put the against my mouth and blew to make the warmer. "dude, one thing I get really angry about." I said as I rubbed my hands together and looked at A. "What?" He asked and started to blow into his hands. "The times when the so called, cool kids, say they hate something and two days later they change opinion and calls everybody gay for questioning it, I mean COME ON!" I said and waved my arms like an Italian. "I know that feel bro, I don't know why they do it but It just happens, I mean were we ever like that on MLP?" he looked at me with a reporter like face, like he was interviewing me. "Hmm, don't think so, I know I questioned it at first but I didn't hate it, I never changed my mind in like ten seconds flat (yes I had to go there!) and I also never called anyone gay for having another opinion." We had enterd the center of the woods and I looked up and through the tree tops. "We should probably head back to your place, it's getting really late." I said and looked back at A. "yhea we should, hold on I just have to pee." A started walking behind some trees and bushes. "Can't you wait for a couple of minutes?" "Nnnope!" he said as he walked further away. After a couple of mintues of standing in the chilly wind I said "Hey A! did you have to go number two to or something?" I did not get any response, just the sound of the wind and some bats. "Are you alive? 'Cause if this is one of your hide and seek moments I will pour gravy on your face!" I said and began walking towards where he went. I rubbed my arms against eachother and looked around for A. This is strange, A usually doesn't behave this way. He usually comes out by now, maybe something attacked him when he was over there, no then I would have heard him scream or something. I started to get chills down my spine. "Dude, just come out now! This is not funny! Can we please ju..." I looked at the place where I thought he stood just a minute ago and saw a bright light, what could it be? I got closer to take a better look. As I approach the object my chest started to feel warm, like the feeling you get when you're in love for the first time. When I got to the source of the strange light I saw a small object, it was like an amulet or something. I picked up the amulet and took a closer look, it had some horse like figures on it and something written on it but I couldn't see what it was. I squinted and read loud what I thought it said. "To forget oneself is to be happy" What could that possibly mean? Suddenly The light became brighter and the amulet mad a strange sound. As the light became brighter and the sound louder I tried to throw the amulet away, somehow I couldn't, my hand wouldn't let me. The strange thing is that I didn't WANT to throw it away. Suddenly everythig became white and silent... not a single noise. End of Chapter One.
Chapter 2View OnlineTogether We're HomefreeChapter 2The very bright light became dark and I realized that I only had shut my eyes. I was lying on the ground looking up in the sky. The daylight was shining through the tree branches, the trees looked different, it must have been the bright light who messed with my vision. My body felt heavy and i could barely lift myself up from the ground. "what happend yesterday?" I said quietly to myself and began lifting my head from the ground. I closed my eyes and rubbed my aching head with my right hand. "weird, my and feels funny, almost like if I didn't have any fingers." I thought to myself. I put my arms infront of my face to see if I had any injuries, then proceeded to open my eyes. "huh, I must hav fallen in a puddle of mud because I'm completely brown and where are my h..." My heart stopped for a few seconds when I noticed i didn't have any hands! My arms looked like two long brown tubes. I began to feel around my face. In the rushed moment of touching my face I also noticed that my feet were gone, my nose had disappeared and my ears were weirdly shaped. I stood up and started running and screaming in panic, I didn't get very far because I didn't have any feet and fell I face-first in the ground. I turned myself so I lied on my back again and rubbed my head. "Ok, calm down C. There must be a perfectly normal ex..." I looked down my body and saw something yellow coming out between my legs and two brown feathery things besides my arms. "Is... Is that a TAIL!? And are those... WINGS!?" I yelled and sat upright. I stretched down and started pulling the strange yellow tail and the wings. "Ouch! yep... that's a tail... and those are definitely wings." I said and let go of the newly found body parts. I looked around the forest which looked completely different from when I was last in it, everything seemed so... cartoony. I also noticed that I had two markings on both sides of my butt. They looked like horseshoe arcing over a lightning bolt. Weird, I looked just like my MLP ... wait a second... I looked around the forest I found a little puddle of water. I tried to stand up but just fell flat on the ground again. I sighed and began to try and stand on all four -to do like a baby and crawl over to the puddle - to my amazement my legs and arms were perfectly symmetric and it felt like I was born like this. I woddled myself over to the puddle and looked into it, but I didn't recognize myself at all. My face had become horse-shaped and my hair and eyes where in a diffrent color. What had I become? I look like a po... Is that it? had the weird thing that I picked up transported me to, Equestria!? I sat down again with my mouth open and questions flying through my head. Could this be true? Had I really gotten transported to the magical land of Equestria? This was harder to understand than the lyrics of some Les Sexareenos songs*. If this was really true - and I couldn't get myself to believe it enough -, I would have to start a new life or maybe even find the amulet again and somehow get back where I came from. I started to look for the amulet in every bush and under every rock. "It has to be here somewhere, it has to!" I said and kept looking, faster and angrier this time. "I just hope I find this as soon as possible so me and A can g..." I stopped and my body got cold. Where was A? My head shot up faster than Alan Bagh's actin career went down¤. "A!? A, WHERE ARE YOU!?" I yelled and ran around in circles like a mad-man/pony/whatever, still on all fours. "Celestia where is..." I stopped and I forgot A for a sec as I looked confused. "Did I really just say Celestia? I meant to say Celestia... wait...", it felt like some cruel autocorrect joke. I sat down on the ground and started thinking. "Wait, so I can't say the name of the savior? you know... starts with a C, ends with a T and HIS name is known over the world, but before I go into detail there R going to trouble if I say his real name*. What was I panicing about? Oh right! A!" I started to run deeper into the forest and yelling for A. "Cheznick¤ where is he!? what did i just say?" I said and ran into a tree. I lied on the ground on my back my head spinning and my vision blurry. My vision cleared and I saw a small cottage a few feet away. I wriggled myself on my feet and started walking towards it to see if there was anybody there who could help me out. There was, a yellow coated pony who was feeding some animals. I stopped and squinted my eyes. "Is... is that... Fluttershy?" I thought to myself and more questions started to go through my head. "there you are mister Frog, all better now." she said and put a frog with a band-aid on it's back legs on a waterlily. "Now hop back to mommy sweetheart, I have to get ready to meet the birds so we can practise before the Summer Sun Celebration. So no more crazy stunts, ok?" The frog nodded and hopped to a bigger frog a few feet away. The pegasus entered her cottage and shut the door. I stood there with my jaw open and baffled at what I have seen. Was that really Fluttershy? Have I really been sent too Equestria? And what was that she said? "Summer Sun Celebration", where had I heard that before? The only time I have heard that was... in the first episode of MLP:FIM... so it's true... I'm in Equestria... at the time of season one episode one... like an interactive version of it. Also the fact that it was summer and not October when I walked with A made me even more terrified. I walked back into the forest a bit and lied myself on the ground and started crying. It has gone over a half year in time, my parents probably thinks I'm kiddnapped or something and A could have gone across the world or even back home, he might not even be here, he can be in another world or something. What am I suppose to do? I stopped crying and slammed my hoof into the ground. "NO!" I yelled to myself. "I won't give up that easily!" I pulled myself up and dried my tears up. "If I'm going to be stuck in this world I'm going too make the most of it! But first, I have to find A!"¨ I started walking to Fluttershys cottage to see if she knew anything. When I got to the cottage I put up my hoof to knock on the door but stopped before I hit it. "Wait a minute." I thought to myself. "I can't use my real name! no one will believe there is a pony named C! I have to come up with something." I looked around to see if I could come up with anything, then it hit me! "since I look like my OC I can use the name!" My face blushed. "This is so embarrassing!" - I have really used the name on the internet and now it's going to be my official name for (possibly)ever - "but here goes nothing..." I knocked on the door. The yellow coated pony opened the door and let out a silent yelp her face blushed. "Hello young mare! My name is Thunder Struck and I seem to be lost, can you please direct me to Ponyville?" I said with a smile. It felt weird to just use horse and MLP name to talk but, eh! What are you going to do? "My name is Flu..." she mumbled and sank her head towards the ground. "Excuse me? I didn't catch that." I said questioning as if I didn't already know. "My name is Flut-ssh..." she replied. "OK, forget about your name for now, I'm a little bit desperate right now. Can you just show the way to Ponyville?"I said and tried to look into her eyes. She looked up a little bit, the blush had toned down. "I-I'm sorry, I'm just very shy around other ponies..." Now I know how Twilight felt when she talked to her the first time. "I was just heading there to practise before the Summer Sun Celebration." "AH, yes! the Summer Sun Celebration! I was heading there with my friend! You haven't seen a red coated, coral maned pegasus around have you?" I assumed that if I looked like my OC he looked like his. "I ha-have actually, he came around and asked the same thing a yesterday, he said something about finding his friend..." My body froze as I realized that he had gone to the same place as me and I tried and come up with a fitting lie. "Oh yhea! hehe... We came here from Los Pegasus, (I actually had to look up a map to find a fitting spot where we could come from before I wrote this... no joke... here is the picture we didn't have money enough money to buy train tickets to we traveled here by hoof. We sat up a camp in the forest and the next morning he was gone, I asume he couldn't find his way back. Poor pony dosen't have the best sense of direction! He took the map with him so that is why I'm a bit late to." I said with a laugh and scratched the back of my head. The mare looked up and the blush had gone from her face. Possibly blinded by the fact that I had lost my friend, (since she is the element of kindness even if she doesn't know it yet) she wanted to help me, either that or Fluttershy feels comfortable around me. - "That's not good! I'll help you to Ponyville mister, you could ask others and see if they know anything, I would help but I'm to busy with preparing for the celebration." she said and walked out of the cottage. "Thank you so much misses...?" she stopped and looked back at me. "Fluttershy, my name is Fluttershy" and proceeded walking. I smiled and followed her step, knowing it was going take a while to find A. But I will do anything to find him, I'm going to find my bro(ny). I'll find him no matter what! Chapter 3View OnlineTogether We're HomefreeChapter 3We had walked for a few minutes and discussed all sorts of things like, where we came from, what our talents were, I already knew what her was but I had to use the talent I came up with when I made my own OC, which was manipulating clouds too creating and aim lightning. - we also talked about our friends and as I expected she were friends all of the "mane six" except for Twilight. Fluttershy seemed to be much more secure talking to me, she was kinda hard to reach in the beginning, but I realized that there was no point in forcing her to talk to me so I just approached conversation very slowly and it turns out that she is really likes too talk, you just have to give her time and make her feel safe around you and don't startle her. One thing she never asked me is why we sat up camp in the Everfree forest, I just assumed that there was a tiny sliver of it that was safe to enter without anything happening so I just rolled with it. "well, here we are mister, Ponyville." the yellow coated pegasus said and pointed at a small town. (Since I'm lazier than Rainbow dash I'm not going to describe how it looks I'm just going to show you a picture and just imagine we're at the right corner) "WOW! Look at that thing! And that one! Oh! And especially that!" I exclaimed in awe as I looked around at the different things. "I know it's a small town but it has its charms." Fluttershy said with a small grin on her face. "It was nice meeting you mister, I hope we see each other some other time, but for now I have to go and practise so you're going to have to find the way around yourself." she said and looked at me. "I say the same thing to you and wish you good luck with the practicing, I expect big things from you!" I said and nodded my head down slowly, her face blushed. "Thank you, see you again." She yelped and walked of. "See ya'!" I said with a smile and watched her walk away to the right. I looked back at town and sighed. "This is going to take a while..." I said to myself and started walking towards the town hall. As I looked around the fantastic little town for A I noticed there were not much decorations up, (considering the sun celebration was just around the corner) there were some ponies hanging up stripes a little here and there and some tents spred around in various locations. I assumed that all the real decorations were in town hall. I stopped and looked at the Ponyville town hall, it looked much bigger than I imagined. "Maybe I should ask some of the other ponies before I consulted the mayor or any higher authorities about it." I said quietly to myself and turned a bit to the left and started walking deeper into the town. I had noticed that walking on all fours like this wasn't a problem for some reason. It felt like I had been walking like this my entire life, it felt kinda good actually. A navy blue coated female unicorn approached*. She had pink hair that looked a little like the hair from some flexible chick I've seen from somewhere... but where?* anyway, she also had a short pink tail too. She may have looked a lot like the other mares but something was different about her... I felt like I had seen her from somewhere, just couldn't put my finger, sorry, hoof on it. I trotted up to her. "Hey there!" i said and waved my hoof to get her attention. "Hello" she replied with a smile. "Hi, I came here with my friend here and then somehow we kinda lost each other in the process. Have you seen him? He is about average height, a little younger than me, red coat, coral maned pegasus." "no sorry, can't seem to recall it. Pinkie pie might know something, she knows everything about everypony." "isn't that kinda weird?" I asked. "Yeah kinda... anyway she's probably in Sugarcube corner right now preparing decorations and cake." she said and pointed to the café. "Thank you very much." I nodded and was about to go. "by the way" i said and turned around looking at her beautiful face once again. "Have we met before?" "I don't think so." "in case, what's your name?" I said with a smile. "Pink Berry" she replied with a smile. "And yours?" "Thunder Struck but you can call me TS" I said and winked, she giggled. "Ok, TS, se you around" she said and started walking. "And the same to you madam." I replied and bowed but fell face first to the ground. She laughed, shook her head and kept walking. "Smooth moves Copiad*" I said to myself with my face still in the ground. I raised myself from the ground and dusted myself of and started walking towards Sugarcube corner. When I got to the candy covered café I looked up to inspect the building. It looked surprisingly more sugar coated then in the show. "Sweet!" I said and opened the door and poked my head in. Inside there was a very low supply of sugar and or candy. There were some shelves with candy on the right and a few cupcakes and muffins on the counter, probably had more in the back. I didn't find neither of the cakes or Pinkie anywhere so I poked my head in a bit longer into the café. "Hello?" I said and there was no answer. Suddenly a pink figure shot up from under me. "HI!" it said and sounded like the waitress form Birdemic*. I screamed like a little girl, my hair and tail went straight up and I flew out of the door and landed of my back. The pink figure, - which turned out to be Pinke, Yeah, I'm shocked to! - stood on top of me. She giggled. "Sorry for that mister but I didn't think you were going to that easily scared! Want a hoof?" I looked up and handed her my hoof. I got up and rubbed my head. "I'm Pinkie Pie but you can call me Pinkie or Pie, Pinkster, Pinketron 9000, Pinkelicious, that rhymes with delicious, you know what's delicious? Candy! Can't get enough of it! I'm getting of track, what's you name?" I looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "My name is Thunder Struck but you can call me TS" she opened her mouth and I put my hoof against it to shut her up. "Just TS". "Well, TS, what brings you to Sugarcube corner?" she smiled and tilted her head. "I was wondering if you had seen my friend, a coral maned, red coated pegasus. Know anything about him?" "OH yeah! He came round here asking about you! Didn't tell me his name though which i weird since I know everything about everypony who lives and passes Ponyville. Anyway, I told him that you might be at the Celebration or at my party later which I invited him to and he said he'd be there and OH! That reminds me! Do you wanna come because you won't find your friend at the party if you're not invited! so, do you wanna? huh? huh? huh?" She jumped up and down around me. "I gladly accept." I said. "Now, you said he didn't mention his name?" I asked. "I don't know, probably you wrote this script!" Pinkie stared into the nothingness... What? "Oh you know what I want! You put me in this fanfic of yours just to have a quick and cheap cameo!" Pinkie just take it easy! Why are you so aggressive all of a sudden? I mean it's not easy to do this! I have writer's block every now and then. Besides, you are the only one who can speak directly to me. "I know but I want my payment now!"... *sigh*, I hate it when you brake the 4th wall... Pinkie had talked in random sentences for a minute so, like she talked to a ghost, I reached my hoof out and... "OH NO YOU DON'T! Don't get your bad OC into this! This is an argument between you and me C!" AUGH, FINE! Here! A big light blue cannon* popped up infront of Pinkie. But you can only use it later when the actual writers tell you to! OK? "Deal!" I looked long and confused at the mare as she put the canon away. "... OH!" Pinkie finally after a long moment of silence said and pulled up a piece paper. "Yadda yadda yadda! You are suppose to look in Rarity's boutique cause he asked for clothes blah blah blah!" I stood still and stared at her with an open mouth and a raised eyebrow. "Go.. schu!" she said and lightly pushed me off. I slowly walked backwards out then turned around still shocked about what happened. I shook my head trying to repress what had just happened. "well... guess I'm going to have a Nightmare night* tonight..." I walked off trying to find the extremely over the top boutique which wasn't hard to find considering all the other buildings looked like old cabins compared to it. When I came to the boutique I noticed that there was no open sign. I looked inside the window and saw nobody there. I started to worry that Rarity wasn't there so I knocked on the door and after a few seconds I heard a faint familiar voice. "I'll in a couple of minutes darling~" "This is more of a personal matter" I shouted. "I'll take it!" shouted another squeaking voice. "AAH!" I heard a crashing sound and objects falling over. "Oops..." "SWEETIE BELLE!?" I'll clean it up later I promised!" the squeaking filly said. The door opened and I looked down and was greeted with a small white coated filly named Sweetie Belle. "Hey there mister!" she said. "Rarity will be here soon she is about to finish her latest dress." I smiled. "Well, do you she would mind if I came in for a bit, I just need to speak to her for a minute." "Sure!" she shouted, - hurting my ears a bit from the voice crack, - and showed me in. Inside was this extremely girly clothing area, like if Barbie barfed glitter on a Victorias secret that was inside a stable! There where some mannequins fallen over and a piece of fabric on the floor. "Dumb fabric..." Sweetie Belle said. "Well, take a seat somewhere when clean up this mess." she said pointing at some chairs and sofas. "Thanks, I can help you if you want" "It's ok, you are the guest/customer after all!" she and started picking up the mannequins. I sat down on one of the sofas and looked around. Sweetie Belle gave me a confused look. "hm?" I said raising both eyebrows. "Is that how you sit? You look like Rarity, only that you're a stallion." she said with a slight giggle. I looked down and realized I kinda looked like Lyra, sitting like I usually do with my legs crossed and hands/hoofs on my lap. "Uuh..." I looked up. "Yeah! I prefer to sit this way, feels nice." and awkward silence filled the room. "Oh...OK" she continued to clean up as more awkward silence filled the room. Rarity came into the room. "Hello darling~!" the mare said fixed her mane with her hoof. "Sorry if I took so long, I just simply HAD to finish my new dress or it would have been THE WORST POSSIBLE THING!" "Well, now you're here and that's the important thing miss Rarity." I smiled and bowed. "Oh! A real gentlecolt! So, to whom do I own this honor of meeting?" she said and started to curtsy. "My name is Thunder Struck and I'm here to ask if you know anything about my friend." "And I shall answer the question but over some tea and sweets! Follow me to the kitchen." she said and started walking to the back of the boutique. Sweetie Belle finished up her cleaning and started walking upstairs to what I assumed was her room while I followed Rarity into the kitchen to discuss the reason for my adventure, A. End of Chapter 3
Chapter 4View OnlineTogether We're HomefreeChapter 4We arrived at the kitchen and Rarity pointed at the little table and two chairs to the right. "Please, take a seat darling. While I start heating up the tea." I walked over and sat down with my legs crossed. Rarity stood by the cabins lifting pots, cups and all kinds of silver wares with her magic. "So darling, what brings a stallion like you to my little boutique?" She said as she filled a pot with water and sat it on the stove. "Well, I was wondering if you had seen my friend, pegasus, red coat and a coral colored mane. Do you know anything?" "As a matter of fact I do!" she turned around. "He asked for some clothes but he sadly had no bits and then asked if there was a place where he could stay the night." The pot started to whistle. Rarity turned back and started pouring up the tea. "I told him that there was no inn but he might be able to ask Applejack if he could sleep in the barn. Just between you and me I would never sleep in such a dirt filled place, makes my hooves dirty." She hovered a plate with two cups of tea and some crumpets and cookies. "One or two?" she said and held up the sugar, "I'm a real sweetie so I'll take three." I said and smiled. She smiled and raised an eyebrow then put down three sugar cubes into the cup. "I could never have three cubes in my tea, it places itself right on my hips, a lady must keep a look over her figure you know." She took a sip from her cup. "So, is there anything else I can help you with? Do YOU need or want to purchase some clothes?" She said and put her cup down. "Well, I'm afraid I to am a little short on bits myself." "Oh it's ok darling, since I am feeling a bit generous I can give you some old accessories I was going to throw away any way." "Thanks. Wait... why do I get free stuff and my friend didn't?" I took a sip from my cup. "Oh he got some sweat bands and a pair of aviators." "Aviators huh? That's something."* "Shall we have a look?" She put her cup on the plate. "We shall." I said and put my cup on the plate as well and she floated them over to the sink. We went to the storage room of the boutique. There were a lot of dresses, saddles and other cosmetics. Rarity went over to a little cardboard box in the corner of the room. She opened the box and lifted it to me. "See anything you like darling?" she said and put the box down. I looked through and there was all sorts of things like bangles, sweatbands, clock and even some fake horns! There was a this one clock that looked just like the one I got as a birthday gift so I took it and put it on, perfect fit.* "I don't suppose you have any Automatonic Electronic Harmonics?"* Rarity looked at me confused. "I'm just joking with you!" I said and closed the box. "I'll take this." "Great choice darling." She put back the box. "So, you said you sent my friend to Applejack, correct?" "I did, she lives on the apple farm on the hill to the right when you get out of the boutique." She pointed with her hoof. "Thank you so much for everything miss Rarity." "No problem darling, anything for a loyal costumer, even though you didn't buy anything..." She awkwardly looked around the room. "I should be leaving..." I said and started to walk out. I stopped and saw something in the corner of my eye. It was a very glittery saddle and behind it was a series of costumes. I grinned mischievously and looked back at Rarity. "One more thing before I leave" I said and turned to her. "I just remembered that I have a friend who is coming over later, she is going to inspect all the preparations for the celebration and check all the stores. She is really into clothes and fashion but doesn't really like to admit it, and I was wondering if you would be so kind as to make her try out all these dresses and costumes? It would really make har happy! And o matter whatever she says, you make here wear them, OK?" She looked at me with confusion in her eyes but happiness in her mind. "Sure darling," her voice wasn't that sure how to react either either. "I'll do my best." I left the store and started walking towards the farm up on the hill. It was longer to the farm than I thought, it looked like it only was a mile away but in reality it was like 5. I tell you, cartoon show backgrounds sure are misleading. Maybe, (INSERT PROCLAIMERS HERE)*. When I arrived at the farm I was baffled over how big it really was. Apple trees as far as the eye can see, a huge corn field right next to the big red barn in the middle, an chicken pen right besides the entrence and some kind of orange/yellow building a few yards away. I assumed that it was a place that they grew carrots, since there was I giant carrot on top... you know... because I'm logical like that! On the front of the barn I saw a big red pony with a orange mane and beige hooves. It was Big Macintosh, who was painting the walls. I walked up to him. "Hi there!" I said. He turned around. "My name is Thunder Struck, and I was looking for my friend and I was wondering if you had seen him." "Nnope." He replied. "So, no one has walked past this place?" "Nnope" "Are you sure?" "Nnope" I looked at him in confusion. "Well, do you know anyone who perhaps has?" He pointed inside the barn where an orange mare with a yellow mane and a cowboy hat was moving some hay bales. "Thanks." I said and looked awkwardly at him as he stared at me while I went inside. I had not realized that he actually talks like that! I thought it was just for comic relief! As I approached the orange mare turned to me. "Howdy!" she said. "Welcome to Sweet Apple Acres! How can Ah help you?" "Why hello there! My name is Thunder Struck. I was sent in here by the red coated pony painting the walls." She looked at me funny. "Oh really? Big Mac sent you here?" "Well, I asked him somethings and he just kinda... pointed here." She let out relived sigh. "Shoot, that pony may be strong, but he ain't the most chit-chatty." "Yhea." I snickered. "Oh right! My name is Applejack. so, what do you need help with sugar cube? Ah'm in kind of a hurry, Ah need to fix up the farm before the family gets here. We're having a family reunion today, and everything needs to be perfect!" I looked at her surprised. "Oh really? Then I'm gonna have to ask you two things. But first, I was looking for my friend. Has anyone come past here? I'm looking for a red coated pony with a coral mane. He kinda looks like Big Mac but les... big." Applejack looked up and tapped her chin. "Hmm... now that you mention it, Ah saw someone by that description! He was looking for a fella... didn't say who, but he was looking for someone." "Do you know where he went?" I asked. "Ah sure do! Ah was the one who told him to go back and look in Ponyville." I frowned. "Well... thanks, but this just led me into a circle." "Ah'm sorry sugar cube." "No, it's okey. I'm just worried for him. Anyway about that other thing." "Lay it on me sugar cube!" I've been on the internet long enough to know where his is going... #LOLJKIWOULDN'TDOTHATONHERE. "Well, I have another friend moving in from Canterlot. She always have trouble making friends. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to help her making some friends by introducing her to your family? And be so enthusiastic you can!" She smiled. "Why, of course Ah can! Ah'm always happy to help ponies out! What's the mares name?" I closed my eyes and shook my head. "Just let her introduce herself, makes it easier to befriend each other!" "Oh Ah see! Good thinking!" I started turning around. "Well, I'll be on my way now. Don't tell her I was here! She can't know I'm helping her with this!" "Ah'll do my best." She winked at me. I started walking back to Ponyville in the hopes that I just missed him on my way here and he didn't go away from the town. As I proceeded to walk down the hill I slipped and fell down. I rolled and finally stopped with a face plant into a tree. Because you know, forced slapstick is funny! I cleaned myself, made a stupid pun and continued walking. When I finally back to Ponyville I realized that I never asked Applejack where in Ponyville she sent him. I smacked my hoof on my head and pulled my face downwards. "Well, back to square one I guess." I told myself. "Of what?" an voice said. I jumped and turned around. There was no one there. I looked left and right. Still no one to be seen. "Up here silly!" I looked up and saw a cyan pony with a rainbow mane. It was "Totally Original Character!" aka Rainbowdash, lying on a cloud. "Oh Celestia! You startled me!" "Yeah! I noticed!" She giggled. "You look so cute when you'r scared!" I frowned. "Funny. Hey! Have you seen him? A red coated stallion with a coral mane?" She opened her mouth and then smiled. "Maybe I have, maybe I haven't. What's in it for me?" I tilted my head and continued frowning. "I just want to find my friend. He's gone missing, I don't know where he is and you want some kind of reward for telling me if you seen him?" "Well, not so much of a reward as a bet!" "So... you wanna bet and see if you're going to tell me or not? Please just tell me for the love of Celestia! I don't have time for this!" She frowned. "What? No! Anyway, I wanna race you!" "Of course you do." I rolled my eyes. "If you win, I'm gonna tell you where you're friend is." "And if I loose?"* "Well, I was suppose to clear up the clouds for the celebration and..." "I get the big honor to clean it up?" "exactly!" I sighed. "Ok, come down here and let's get this over with." She looked at me in confusion. "You serious? You're a pegasus! You know you can fly right?" I froze. I had forgotten about my ability to use my wings! That would have been useful to know a while back! "Yeah, the thing is that... I kinda like it here on the ground." I gave a nervous smile. "No race, no information!" she said. I yelped. "O-ok... sure! I'll do it!" I took a deep breath and pulled out my wings. I took a look at them and sighed. "Here goes nothing." I started flapping my wings and closed my eyes. After a few moments I opened and without realizing it i was of the ground in a matter of seconds. For some reason, just like the walking, it felt so natural, like I've been doing it forever. "Huh..." I tried flying higher, no problem. I flew forward and even though it felt so natural yet it felt so weird to fly, just like that! (Also because I feel lika a tease and don't want you to experience any kind of slapstick fun in this comedic fanfic.) "Ok then... let's do this I guess..." I flew up next to Rainbowdash. "Finally!" She said. "Alright, you see those that big cloud over there? Around that, then down to Sugarcube corner, then back here. Simple little lap. You got that?" "Yup." "Then we're good to go! Ok, ready, set, GO!" And just like that she was of. I could barely react but took of as well. She had reached the first checkpoint and I was only half way there. When I finally got to the cloud I noticed how big it really was and it took a minute to get around it. I turned the corner to find Rainbowdash just starting to go up from Sugarcube corner with what appeared to be a treat in her hooves. I frowned and stopped, turned to the starting point and started flying towards it. When I got there Rainbowdash was lying there eating a cupcake. I was very close to say something I wasn't suppose to*. "I get it, you're faster. Now where do I start?" She started laughing. "What?" "You think I was just gonna outclass somepony who needs help and then leave them with my chores like that? I know I'm the fastest, and now you know." She took the last bite of her cupcake. "You're point?" "You're friend is probably going to Pinkies party later tonight at the library." I just stood there, looking at her. "So, you just did this to mess with me?" "Exactly!" I should have seen this coming. "Th-thanks I guess... Hey, since you like messing with ponies so much can you do me a favor?" "What is it? A prank?" "Yeah, kinda. Since you're so quick, just just let the clods be here until a certain pony comes by." "Who?" "You'll know." I smiled. "I've got to be a tease to you know?" She snickered. "Alright, fair enough." I flew down to the ground and started walking. "The library is the other way!" Rainbowdash yelled. I swiftly turned around, making sure not to even look at her because of my bright red face filled with embarrassment and just walked. Walking forward and thinking that somehow this could still be a bit cool, despite the fact that none of this was cool and it was a very rushed ending to a chapter due to time constraints. Chapter 5View OnlineTogether We're HomefreeChapter 5I was still a bit red after the embarrassment of loosing so big. Then I remembered, I was competing against Rainbowdash... no freaking wonder I lost! Never the less, I tried my best and I guess my best wasn't good enough. Who knows, it might have ended like that one "banned" game, whatever it was called.* I had walked for about half an hour and was very close to Sugarcube corner. I could see the library a bit away and right over it I could see a chariot, presumably the one that Twilight came into town on. So, by my calculations that means she must have at least met Pinkie and was on her way to Applejack. Look, I can do maths to! That means Pinkie should be on her way here to fix the party and or is collecting all the ponies in town to meet here and then finish it up. Just as i said that a pink blur came speeding towards me and knocked me over. We rolled for a bit and stopped a few feet from the door of the library. "Oopsie!" the pink blob giggled. I shook my head to get rid of the dizziness. When I finally got my vision back I saw that Pinkie was lying on top of me. "Well, at least this is better then Ride to Hell."* I said. I looked into Pinkies eyes. "Can you please move, I want to know if something broke. Because I'm pretty sure my lungs collapsed." "Oh, Sorry my bad!" Pinkie jumped of. I took myself of the ground and dusted of all the dirt. "I didn't see you there! I was on my way to fix up a party for the new pony!" she said and bounced up and down. "Oh really? Is it me? Oh wait... I'm not moving in... anyway, do you need any help with that then?" Pinkie tapped her cheek. "Well, there are some ponies I haven't asked to join us at the party so if you could go and fin them that would be nice!" I smiled. "That, I can do! Who are they?" "Well, there are two ponies I haven't managed to find somewhere in the town called, Steel Crescent and Lyra Heartstrings. They're said to be right outside of town but I haven't got time to check because I must fix the decorations, make punch and other sweets! I also have to paint a special background so the audience can see the shadows of the ponies but the main character can't!" I frowned at her. "You are really fond of breaking the fourth wall aren't you? sure, I will go and look for them. You can stay here and do... whatever Pinkies do..." I turned around started slowly walking away from her. "I must warn you though!" Pinkie shouted. "They are kinda weird! They talk about some kind weird war with something called, the changelings!" "I'll keep that in mind!" I shouted back and kept walking. "Steel Crescent... where have I heard that name before?" I said quietly to myself. I finally got to the edge of the town and was met meadow. On that meadow there appeared to be two ponies. One of them was a mint colored unicorn, Lyra, and she had a lyre with her. The other one was a light grey pony with a light blue mane, presumably Steel. I started walking towards them and I could hear their voices as I got closer. "I had a feeling that you would attempt to pick up cloud walking. I mean it was a matter of time before you got bored of the teleporting and stasis fields." Lyra said. Steel looked very tired and tried to laugh but he stumbled. He fell to the ground and Lyra dropped her lyre on the ground when she started galloping towards him.* I started running towards them and when I got there I saw Lyra giving Steel mouth to mouth. "By Celestia! Is he alright!?" I shouted when I go next to her. She jumped a bit. "Oh! You startled me! But yeah, he'll be fine. He'll just be out for a couple of minutes." I looked back at her lyre. "Looks like your lyre broke." I said and turned back to her. She was lying on the ground next to Steel. "Oh don't worry, I have loads of 'em." "My name is Thunder Struck by the way, hope I didn't interrupt." I said and sat myself down infront of them. "Lyra Heartstrings, he's Steel Crescent and no, you didn't interrupt. We were just talking anyway." She said and looked down at Steel. "May I be so rude and ask just what you were talking about? I overheard you saying something about him teleporting. I'm not one to judge but he doesn't look like a unicorn to me." Lyra looked up at me again. "Classified information I'm afraid, all you need to know is that we are a pair of normal ponies who were having a normal conversation." "O...OK... So anyway, we should probably get him to a bed or something like that. I'll help you." I took myself of the ground and reached down to pick Steel up. Lyra did the same. We draged Steel back into the town. I asked Lyra if she had any place where we could pt him without being interrupted. "I'm a traveling pony, just like Steel. So we don't really have a place to stay. There's no inn here this town." "Well, maybe we could go to the library? Sure, there might be a party there starting fairly soon but there might be a place we can put him." "It doesn't look like we have any other options, do we?" We started walking towards the library, and as soon as we got there we were met with Pinkie herding a bunch of ponies inside. "Oh great! You found them!" Pinkie exclaimed. "What happened to Steel? Wait! We don't have time! Just get him upstairs and get him bed! HURRY! SHE'S ALMOST HERE!" We got in and saw a lot of ponies bunched up together and we hurried past them. As we past them I looked around for, A, but there were so many ponies that it was hard to tell if he was there. Even if I didn't see him I saw a bunch of others, including Ditzy, Carrot Top and Pink Berry! When we got upstairs we put Steel down on the bed. We sat down next to him, both sat upright, facing the door we came in from. I sighed and looked over to Lyra. "So... I have this thing I wanted to ask you-" "No, I'm not obsessed with hands because I sit this way! Whatever that is..." "Wha- NO! Wait... how would you even..? Never mind, I wanted to ask you about the whole you and Steel thing." She turned to me with an annoyed expression on her face. "I told you it's classified information." "Well, I just think I know what the so called, "classified information" is." She looked at me for a bit then laughed. "You're kidding right? How desperate are you to get this out of me? I'm not telling you!" I raised an eyebrow and shut my eyes half way. "Well then, I suppose the 'lunar scouts' should be proud to have a member as loyal as you." Her pupils became as big as peas and she started to sweat nervously. "How... how do you know that name? Why do you know that name? Are you apart!?" I chuckled. "Oh Celestia no! I just know things about stuff! But I prefer to keep it as; "Classified information" as it were. Makes the whole thing, interesting." "B-but.." "Ah-ah-ah! classified information! Lets just act like this never happened and talk about something else!" Just as I said that Steel started moving. Lyra turned to him. "Steel? Are you ok?" Steel opened one of his eyes. "Our sparring matches made me more exhausted, but I'm fine." Steel sat up as well. "Please just lie down! You're not rested enough." Lyra said and tried to put the grey pony to bed again. Steel tried to force himself up again. "No worries, I've been through worse." He said and pushed lyras hooves aside. "... Who are you? And where are we exactly?" I shook my head and tapped my hoof against it. "Oh sorry! How foolish of me! My name is Thunder Struck, but yo may call me TS. And I was actually looking for you and miss Heartstrings here to get you to a party at the local library. Short story shorter I saw you pass out and we draged you here to the library and put you to bed." Steel looked around. "This place has a bedroom? It sure looks smaller on the outside." He stopped for a moment and then looked back at us. "Wait, you said something about a party here?" "Yeah, it should be starting any minute as a matter of fact." Lyra said and put a hoof to her ear. Some faint cheering could be heard from downstairs. "It seems like it has begun." I said and made a little pout. I hopped out of the bed and started walking towards the stairs. "I just have to do one quick thing, I'll be back in a mome-" "NO!" Steel yelled and pointed his hoof towards me. "You cannot go down there! Not now!" "Why not?" I asked and then turned towards him. "It'll ruin the footage!" "What are you talking about? What footage?" He hopped out of the bed and swayed a bit. "You just can't! It'll ruin the canon! We have to hopp out of the window and start walking towards the town hall." Lyra got a look of realization on her face and turned to me. "That's right! I forgot about that! We need to hurry. She'll be here any-" Just as she said that someone could be heard walking up the stairs. "HURRY!" Lyra shouted and grabbed my hoof. Before I could question anything further we were mid-air plummeting towards the ground. It became black and I couldn't feel anything for what felt for hours. Suddenly I started to feel my body again and I slowly opened my eyes. It looked like we had landed in a bush. i lied on my back with Lyra to my right and Steel to my left. "This is a que to a weird non-kid friendly novel if I ever saw one." I turned around and rose myself from the ground. I dusted off most of the leaves from my coat and tried to shake the rest from my mane. The others got themselves up to and did the same. "So, are you gonna tell me about what just happened?" Steel turned to me. "Nope! we have to advance the plot because I'm to lazy to explain something the people are going to understand! C'mon! Let's go already!" They started moving and Steel didn't seem to have any problem walking now for some reason. "Pinkie was right, they are a bit cooky, but I guess that just adds to the mystique of the Lunar scouts" I said to myself and followed them. When we got to the town hall there was a crowd of ponies who were proceeding to enter the building. I guess they wanted to get to the festivities early. I got the feeling that I had forgotten something very important. Like something that would be a turning point on my adventure but I just could put my hoof on it. When we actually got inside I looked around for A but couldn't find him anywhere. Just like the sense of humor in this fic.* I felt someone poke me in the side, I turned and Lyra and Steel looked me in the eye with a serious look on their faces. "We need to tell you something." Lyra said to me and and put her hoof on my shoulder. "Are you finally gonna tell me what that whole my situation was about? "No, but me and Steel have talked and we know who you are now." "R-really?" I sputtered. "Yes, and we are going to have to take actions about that." Steel exclaimed. "What do you mean?" I said and took a step back. "It's not that bad! All you need to know to move the plot forward is to run as fast as you can towards the Everfree forest when you see our signal." Lyra told me. I rolled my eyes. "What is it with everyone being omnipotent but me!? What plot are you talking about? Is it my plot? Is it to fat for you!?" Lyra and Steel looked each other in the eye and then turned back to me. "You'll know in time" They both said in unison. Just as they said that a beige mare entered the the stage and the ceremony was up and yada yada yada, you know the drill, you have to have seen the first episode of the show, why would you otherwise be here? So Nightmare moon comes up and laughs maniacally and everyone gasps and screams. I look around for a bit and realize I should probably do the same. Suddenly a big "shadow" comes and covers both Steel and Lyra and they both vanish. "I guess that's my que." I say to myself and start running towards the door. With a fast beating heart I run as fast I can towards the Everfree forest, still confused as to what actually happened. Why am I making the endings of these later chapters so rushed? Because writing this feels like a chore nowadays and I want to work on other projects but I feel like I can't do it unless this is done. THE MORE YOU KNOW! End of Chapter 5.
PrologueView OnlineTogether We're HomefreePrologueSo now we're here...I have lived a very normal life up to this point. School, homework, computer games and friends. Nothing special when you think about it. But now both our lifes lying in my hands, um... hooves. "Please help me up!" The red colored pegasus shouted as he flapped his wings rapidly. His back legs wiggled over the edge of the cliff. The possible spikes at the bottom of the pit indicated that it would not be a pleasant trip. "Just hang in there!" I replied and grabbed him with my other hoof. I felt the sweat dripping along my body, running rapidly down my front legs. I reached down with my wings trying to get a better grip, but it turns out they were too small. "Don't you dare let go! YOU HEAR ME!" I yelled as tears were flowing down my chin in fear of losing my best friend. Pulling with all the power that was left in me, getting more exhausted by the second, I knew I had to keep going. The red pegasus suddenly stopped shaking. "Promise me..." He said with a deep voice, trying to hold back his tears. "When you g-get back..." The tears started too fill up his big blue eyes. "When you get back t-to the real w-world... I-if you get b-back... Tell my family I love them". My body started to feel heavy, I nearly lost all power in my forelegs. I felt a hard pounding in my chest and a giant lump in my throat. "P-Please..." I replied barely able to speak. "Think of what we can do here. All the things we can see and do!" I said as I felt his grip loosen up. "this has been our dream! We still got time if you just..." "NO!" the pegasus yelled. "You have to let me go." He said trying to let go. "I-I won't..." I said. "I won't do it... We have done so much with in our lives. We have done so much together. Do really want to waste all those memories and ruin a perfect friendship right here and now?" I said feeling even more tears flowing down my chin and onto my forelegs. "You just have to..." The pegasus said as tears started to flow down his chin. "There is no other way. Just let go." He forced a smile on his face. I looked him deeply in his eyes and only said "If that's way you want it." I too forced a smile on my face and let go. It was possibly the hardest thing I had to do, just letting my best friend fall to his demise. We both smiled as his body fell down motionless deeper into the pit. (imagine "Sailing" by Rod Stewart playing in the background.) Every second felt like years as he slowly fell. My life flashed before my eyes, All the things we did. They were all about to end, like nothing ever happend. Thinking back to it, getting here was very strange. I mean all the ponies I met, The way to Equestria... Strange. What was he up to when I was looking for him? How much trouble did he get into? And why did he go to the Everfree? Was it because he wanted to meet Luna? No... It can't be. He knows the right way. I know that I shouldn't say this but... It sounded really funny when he crashed into the cliff side! And I can't believe I caught him when he fell from such height! But even so, it was all about to end in the matter of seconds. Everything we have done, everything we have seen... dissapearing, like thunder and lightning during a rain free storm. His body fell down into the pit and his body dissapeared into the darkness. I started to cry very loudly, And suddenly... TO BE CONTINUED.
Final Chapter.View OnlineTogether We're HomefreeFinal Chapter.As I ran into the deep dark forest, (and we try to forget the fact that this story has some really weird moments for no reason and the endings are rushed) not knowing where I was actually suppose to go, I figured "my heart would show the way" or some cliché thing like that would happen. I kept running for a while and it just seemed like the forest was looping over and over again. I stopped to sit down and catch my breath to reflect on what had happened. First of all, why would I really listen to those ponies? I mean, I had just met them and they literally told me to run straight in to the dark scary forest by myself. Looking around I notice how the spooky these woods really are. I mean, (INSERT SCARY WORLD BY SPG HERE)* I hear something cracking behind me and I swiftly turn around. Something rattles in a nearby bush and hug myself tightly. An owl hoots somewhere up in the trees and I shiver. I feel something slimy touch my hind legs and I jump 5 ft up and scream at the top of my lungs. Running away from what ever touched me I close my eyes in fear, still screaming. I suddenly trip and start rolling down a hill. I get covered in dark grey mud and some sharp rocks get stuck in it as well. Still rolling I finally hit the bottom and and then a small "ramp" and I'm sent flying. Having no control over my body due to dizziness I fly past something purple and I can feel the rocks cut something. I land in a bush and the world keep spinning around me for a few minutes. My ears are ringing and I nearly faint. The world stopps spinning and I start to get my hearing back. I can hear someone cry and I slowly sit myself up. The sound of running water could also be heard. I shove the twigs and leaf out of the way and find the source of crying. It was that purple Chinese dragon thingy with a sweet golden hair due and that cool half of a mustache! Steven I think his name was... Wait... half of a mustache... I looked down and found the other half stuck to the mud on my coat. I stood up and tried to give the other half of the mustache to him, but I slipped and slid down another hill. This one was very slippery and also very big. I opened my mouth to try and call for him but then I remembered that the mane 6 were actually going to meet him pretty soon so I decided that it's probably best to be bit of a meany and just let them learn a bit about friendship and generosity... and also I kinda forgot I had wings... What? Don't look at me like that! Don't you judge me! Anyway, I threw the other part of the glorious golden mustache in an nearby bush and rubbed off all the mud and rocks. "Now, where were I?" I said to myself and looked around. "I guess i should look for A, but where?" I saw a cave a few feet away from me. "Now, what was it I was suppose to do with deep dark caves? I remember! Walk in without hesitation! It's not like anything else on this journey has injured me to bad this far!" I started walking into the cave and it became black as night. I decided to keep moving and after a few moments I saw a light, and felt the smell of fire. For some inexplicable reason I felt allured and got a warm feeling inside. Was this the madness of this forest taking over me or was there actually something friendly? Perhaps it was A, or just my oncoming doom. When I finally got to the source I saw something wonderful. It was A! In all his ponified glory! With that red coat and the coral mane! Even some marks a little everywhere! He sat next to a fire place in a armchair with a book in his hooves. But I didn't care about anything, I had finally found him! After all this time! "A!" I yelled and ran towards him. Finally, my search was at an end! But then... A started to morph and change appearance. And suddenly... A laughter. I stopped right in my track and when A had morphed for a bit I saw a familiar face. With the head of a goat, a lions paw and a falcons claw. I saw the thing that both made my blood turn to ice and boil at the same time. "UAHAHAHA! YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE!" the Draconequus rolled on the floor laughing. "DISCORD! YOU *Insert a non-kid friendly word here*" I Yelled. I turned to me and wiped a tear off his face. "Oh come on! It was funny! Besides, I am the master of confusion!* I just can't believe you actually fell for that!" I was about to go and punch him in the face but my hooves were glued to the ground for some reason. "Oh, you thing I would just let you go after that? I need to explain some things before you go!" He said and put his claw under my chin and made me look him in the eye. "Now, Since I'm so good at making things chaotic I'll give you 3 lines of dialog of omnipotens, then I'm gonna teleport you out of here and continue the story. Deal?" "WHAT STORY!? WHAT ARE YOU-" He tapped my head and I could taste colors and smell sound. Everything was so clear. "Now you know what to do." He said. "Yes." I replied. "Good, your story and your cameos suck BTW" Ha said and suddenly everything became dull and I felt empty. I found myself on a cliffside and I had a bridge infront of me. "I really need to get out of this place.." I said and frowned. I looked at the rickety bridge and saw the infamous castle at the end of episode two. But there was something odd about it... Wasn't there suppose to be mist covering it? That's right! And the bridge was suppose to be broken and the "Shadowbolts" were suppose to be at the other side of it! I looked around and couldn't find the Shadowbolts anywhere. "Alrighty then." I said and was about to cross the bridge when I suddenly remembered. I have wings... I really should've utilized them more... I lifted myself from the ground and I flew over the danger that could've happened if I actually crossed the bridge. When I landed I landed on the other side of the bridge and I gave out a sigh of relief. Suddenly, Shadowbolts. I got so spooked I hopped back a bit and knocked of the rope from one of the poles that held up the bridge and the whole thing collapsed. The three Shadowbolts looked at me and chuckled. "Oh what now!?" I said and pulled myself off of the ground. "I need to get going so please just let me pass!" I tried to walk past them. They formed a wall infront of me. "Where are you going exactly?" The middle one asked me. "I need to get to the castle, please just let me-" I said and they pushed me back. "What do you want from me? Bits? My watch? What?" "We would like you to join us." the one on the right said. "Excuse me?" "Yes, we are in need of some allies and would like you to join us." The left one said. I sighed. "If I do, will you let me pass?" "Yes." They said in unison. "Ugh! Fine! Just call me when you can need me, like when something stupid like, I don't know, an "Changeling" army attacks or some other made up thing comes up."* "Deal." They said and opened up to let me pass. "Weirdos" I mumbled and made my way towards the castle. When I got to the gate of the large ruined castle I could hear a voice, an very familiar voice. It came from the back of the castle. I slowly made my way to the back of the whole thing and in a distance, on the cliffside I could see him. A, he was talking to himself and he sniffled and sobbed. "I'll never get home..." He said. "I'm nothing here... *sniffle* I don't know what to do with myself..." "A!" I yelled and ran towards him. He turned around with a surprised look. It too him a moment but then he realized. "C-c?"He said and made the biggest smile I've ever seen on someone. I teared as I was just a few feet away from him and when he started walking towards me we heard a cracking noise. The cliff gave up under A and he started to fall. Time went so slow and it felt like everything was in slow-motion. I jumped and slid to the edge of the of the remaining cliff and managed to catch him. Now this where the prolog begins, I hope you read it! If so, I don't need to explain what happens and just continue at the cliffhanger shall we? And suddenly a white entity swooped down and caught A mid-air. I was baffled as to what had happened, but was even more baffled over the fact that the entity was Celestia! (Like you didn't expect that.) Celestia landed a few feet away on a bit safer ground and then put A down. "Are you OK?" She asked very calmly. "Yeah... I guess..." A said as he shook on the ground. I ran up to him to comfort him. I looked up at Celestia. "Thank you so much but, how?" "It's very simple, you know how I just suddenly appear at the end of the episode? Stuff just happens and I ended up here to save you." "Enough with the cryptic talk! Why are you actually here?" I yelled. Celestia rolled her eyes. "Fine, I'm here to give you two an ultimatum." "Why?" looked up at her and asked. "Because you wanted to go home now didn't you?" "Yes, but why would you gives un ultimatum? Do you want us to stay?" I asked. "No, but I know you secretly want to so I'll give you two the choice. You can either go home and believe what you want to or you can stay here and form new lives. There is however catch, if you choose to stay here I will let you do whatever you want, and if you choose to go home a new portal will open at another point in time where you'll get another chance, but you won't have the same privileges. You'll have to start all over again." A stood up and looked at me. We stod quiet there for a minute and didn't move, just looked each other in the eye. "As soon as portal opens you'll have ten seconds to decide." A few moments passed and we hadn't said nything. Suddenly there was an explosion. A rainbow flew out of the castle window and a portal opened besides Celestia. We looked at the portal and then back at each other. We nodded and... That is the end. I sit here, two years later, writing this, story just waiting for that "second chance" we were promised. Sometimes I think it was just a dream, and other times I regret our decision, but at this point, I just know that, Together We're Homefree. The End.
