Lunar Light

Moonshine opened her eyes, wanting to go back asleep but something was just urging her to get out of bed. Her mane was a mess. She looked at her clock two am!?! she thought and groaned. She fell face first onto her pillow. Scoots and AppleBloom were still asleep. "Looks like we weren't caught. Could've been a practical joke though." She wispered to herself and did her morning routine. After she had walked out of the bathroom she looked over at the sleeping bags. Her friends weren't there. She panicked for a minutehow far could they have gone!?! I only left the room 3 minutes ago! she thought. Her thoughts were interrupted by a hoof pulling her out her window. A stallions hoof no doubt, it was black with a metal horseshoe. Moonshine screamed as loud as she could but another guard came and enchanted her to put her to sleep.

Her vision was blurry. She couldn't see anything but a blurred darkness and sounds of mutters and whispers. She opened her eyes and sat up. Four guards and scoots and AppleBloom. The two others were still fast asleep but she sat up which made the guards stop talking and sit up straight. Only one kept the way they were before, it was a mare and she was smiling at her. Not an evil grin but a smile you would see from a good friend. "The new ones seem to be mares. Uncommon for you buffoons to grab." She teased. She was a dark purple color, had green eyes, and a gray mane. Moonshine had to admit that she was pretty. She looked like a teenager most likely 18 or 19. The other 3 were a pegasus, earth pony, and unicorn. "Oh shut up Mist you know nothing about the grabbers, your just here incase someone wakes up early and flips out. Or your the inflight entertainment." The gray with black maned unicorn said. "You know I am right here...right?" Moonshine asked slightly annoyed without knowing whats going on. "Oh hello I didn't notice you were awake" the pegasus-mist- had said. "Allow me to tell you what's going on. I am Mist Chaser, this is Twisted Shadow, this is Dark Night and this buffoon is Silent Crow. You must be Moonshine I presume" she said in a calm fashion. Mist Chaser looked over at AppleBloom and Scoots, she gasped "oh you two are serious BUFFOONS! Ugh! You know we'll have to get them done! Ugh wasn't there any other townsfolk who had other colored pelts?!" She raged at the pegasus, Twisted Shadow and the unicorn, Silent crow. In all the screams the other two sat up and looked at the ponies around them. "Where was I? Oh yes! We have been ordered by your Queen of the Night to bring you to her castle. But these two will be ordered to go to the bathhouse. Please do not ask why you will see when they come out. We are approaching the castle. Any questions?" She nearly almost demanded questions but stopped herself from it. Moonshine gulped the stories are true! she thought. " what happened while I was out?" "Oh sorry you questions were not answered we are here." The trio looked down, hundreds no! Millions of carriages were descending into a large black castle.

Moonshine was guided by the four members into a large room. "Pure ones are separated from ones going to the bathhouse" Mist had said. She met a black stallion who promised to watch her until Mist had led her into a room with children, some older some younger. Other stories in pony history appeared to be true as well. Vamponies can around and passed out black saddlebags. One of them came and plopped hers onto her back and wispered "The Queen will like you, your blood is strong but not strong enough yet. Don't worry we don't bite....much" she walked away and it freighted Moonshine. Thoughts started running through her head. She looked to her left and saw four staircases, all black. They were labeled, Shadow House, Nightmare House, Dark House and Widow House. They sent chills down her spine they were just so creepy. The whole thing reminded her of her two favorite books, Colty Potter and The School For Wicked and Pure. Wispers started forming as house representatives came down the spiral staircases. A colt wearing a Black and White tie was under the Shadow house, another colt wearing a navy and off white tie was under the Dark House, under the Nightmare house was a mare wearing a purple and a slime green scarf and under the widow house was a mare wearing a black and red tie. "Those are the house captains! ShadowBlade, NightWind, DarkRose and WidowBolt!" Moonshine turned around it was a small black filly with green hair, pulled into a ponytail. "My name is NightGale, I was taken away from my mommy and I'm new! I want to be just like NightWind! She's so cool! She has perfect A's and has won the NightMare compitions every year! Everyone thinks The Queen will ask her to be staff or better!" The filly answered and smiled. Moonshine couldn't help but giggle at the fillies big plans. "I may now ask thou crowd to be quiet!" "Eee! That was NightWind that just spoke!" NightGale said excitedly but was shushed by a vampony gaurd. "I now call NightGale of everfree, Moonshine of Ponyville, DeadBat of Dark Caves, Shadow of DawnMare, and QuietNight of SnowVille." NoghtGale pulled moonshine to the front of the line and held out a pen to NightWind "can you sign my Best Young Everfree Flyer cup!?" She asked "sure thing kid" she took them both and wrote her name on it. "You live in the Everfree forest? Nopony but Zecora lives there! And where's all those other places?" She asked. "Oh yeah your the PonyVille noob...the further you go into the everfree the more 'beautiful' it gets" explained NightWind. Scootaloo and AppleBloom walked in, AB had a purple coat and a full black mane and scoots had a navy coat and a white mane. "I said they'd look good in any color....I lied" NightWind and NightGale cracked up at the joke. "What they look like their in an 80s hair band for punk rockers" they all started cracking up even scootaloo and AppleBloom.
