I Want Him Back

When I arrived at Ponyville, the sun was about to rise which is good because I never miss the time when Princess Celestia raises the sun.  I dismounted my horse and watched two things happen at once.

  I left the Ponyville train station and watched as several ponies left their houses to go to their jobs.  So, Mr. Smarty Pants is here, huh?  I only know a couple ponies that knows about Mr. Smarty Pants so I'm going to have to ask them.  Before I could make a move, a flash of cyan and rainbow flew past me.   "Hey, Rainbiw Dash!" I called as I cupped my hands around my mouth.  The Pegasus mare glanced down and landed in front of me.  "Cale! You're back!" She said excitedly.

"And I only have a little time" I said.  "Listen, have you seen Princess Twilight's Mr. Smarty Pants doll?" I asked.

"Sorry guy, don't know.  But I'm sure the other ponies might know where he is."

"Alright, thanks" I said.

"Oh, and wish me luck" she said as she hovered.

"For what?" I asked curiously.

"For practicing to join the Wonderbolts of course!" She shouted boastfully.  'Show off' I thought to myself as she flew away.  I trekked down the streets to Ponyville and saw Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy walking next to each other.

"Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Cale's back! Cale's back!" The pink mare squeaked with delight.  "Can I throw you a Welcome Back to Ponyville Party?!" She asked excitedly.

"Not right now Pinks" I said.  "I'm running an important errand" I answered almost hurriedly.  "Listen, have either of you seen Princess Twilight's doll?" I asked.

"Oh... Um...' Fluttershy said softly like she normally does.  "You may want to ask Applejack.  Her brother has the doll" she answered.

"Thank you" I said.  I turned to Pinkie Pie and patted her head.  "I promise, you can throw the Welcome Back Party, but this errand is important right now."

"I know" she said with a grin.  "Fluttershy and I are running important errands ourselves!" She squealed with delight as I walked away.

"We are?" Fluttershy asked.

Sweet Apple Acres

When I reached Sweet Apple Acres, I did not like what I saw.  Applejack, Granny Smith and Rarity along with the CMC were gathered around a heartbroken Big Mac.  I reached behind me and felt the handle of my gun.  Good thing I have this in case an enemy is nearby.  I approached the group and saw on a stump.  "What's the problem?" I asked.

"Sugar Cube..." Applejack said as she wiped a tear on her face.  "There's something you should know."

"I'm listening" I said.

"Big Mac indeed had Twilight's doll but he wouldn't give it up."

"Oh.."  Said.

"But it gets worse" she added.  "Several Diamond Dogs stole it and ran off."

"Where are they?" I asked.

"Don't know.  But all I know that this particular gang came from the underground of Appleloosa.  I suggest you start there."

"So I bring the doll back and..."  The look on Applejack's face stopped me.  "What is it?"

"Find the doll.... And bring it back... To Big Mac.  That doll means a lot to him."  That doll also means a lot to Princess Twilight.
