Point of View: 1'st person
My red eyes had cast their gaze outside of the train's nearest window. The window, reflecting the image of a grey haired, and coat unicorn right back at me. Though the reflection showed, I looked passed it to the oncoming station for the train to stop at.
The train conductor, a light brown stallion with red hair and blue eyes came and asked for my ticket which I gladly gave up to him. After a few seconds of examining the ticket to check for any faked numbers, lettering, and such he gave it back with a smile.
I returned the smile with my own and got my saddle bags from above me, placing it on my back as i got up from the seat. It wasn't heavy at all, all it had was bits for house and furniture, a few articles of clothing, and as well as my writing items.
I am a writer pony, which you could tell by the quill and the inkwell that represents my cutiemark. My writing recently was in a giant halt, so i decided to move to a new town with brand-new faces of ponies to get through with it all.
With my head held high, I would start head towards the town, but something that was pink, and was suffocating the air with the smell of bubblegum ran into me, causing my side to suddenly flair up in pain. Groaning slightly, I would shake my head and look to who had hit me with such force, only to be greeted with a pink earth pony with pink for the color of he mane with tail. Big blue eyes stared at me.
The pink earth pony gasps loudly, and she spoke, which i regretted a bit, "Oh my gosh! Are you new here? You must be new! Because I know everypony in Ponyville, and by everypony, i mean everypony. I know every face there is in Ponyville, and I don't remember your face so you must be new! *Gasp* If you are new them i must go and plan you a welcome to ponyville party! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! I need to get started right way, see you new pony!"
I was about to speak before she took off so fast, that even a pegasus could keep up with her. My eyes were a bit wide, but soon they shrank down to size and I went on my way to Town Hall to get a house.
Upon getting into the front room of town hall, i was greeted by the receptionist who i talked to before heading into the back to talk to the Mayor of Ponyville. She was a lovely mare, ironically also part of her name, that she gave me a house for 1800 bits in a river cottage. Counting out my bits, i find that I have about 2500, and handed her the bits she needed.
She handed me the key and then I went outside to look for a furniture store for at least a bed before I left for the actual house, I thought it might not be that hard... Turns out I was so, very very wrong. Most of the ponies out and selling were fruit and vegi ponies, so if there were any furniture stores it would be hard to see from behind the thick walls of stands that were up.
One pony, I forget what colors the young filly was, pointed me to a boutique where some were being sold, the real owner wasn't there so she wrote a note to the owner and I gave her the bits for a reserved pick up tomorrow.
After the purchase I stepped outside and decided to go get some food for tonight and the next few days, that way I don't end up going hungry and pass out on the way for the pick up, and to find a job. Now that would be a complete waste of time and energy to do that on an empty stomach.
A few of the stalls looked good so I went to those first, purchasing some apples, some peaches, cherries, loaves of bread, and a cart. All of the items on sail looked so good today, and none were going to escape my hungry stomach, for long that was.
As I shopped around, the only interesting thing to happen to me is that, I saw somepony out of the corner of my eye disappear within the blink of an eye. I didn't dwell on it long since I didn't know the pony, and also I was about to make the last purchase of the day for my necessities.
After a weighty purchase, i was now out of bits and carting off some food towards my new house. The day was nice, despite being assaulted by that random pink pony that had been the new face I saw at the train station that is. It was a bit horrifying, plus i could barely breathe with all of that bubblegum smell within the air.
Shaking my head free of the thought of her, I walked to my new home and opened the door, then walked inside with all the food. After some time with putting the food away, i laid down on the floor and soon fell to sleep, unsure of what the following days might entail, and plus it was the only place i could sleep tonight.
My mind drifted in and out of dreams; one of me being a warrior within the Lunar faction of the royal guards, another of casting spells more powerful than even the gods could conjure, the last being of a shield, defending the world from total annihilation. All brought a wide smile to my face, all being great ideas that I would remember to put in one book, eventually. They would have to come back to me sooner or later right? Or else they wont be of any use.
