...It was Spitfire. Rainbow's jaw dropped. Spitfire walked in and said, "Hey there, Rainbow Dash."

Rainbow examined Spitfire. She wasn't in her Wonderbolt costume, and she looked absolutely... amazing. Rainbow quickly regained her composure and replied, "Heya Spitfire. What brings you here?"

"Well, I heard what happened and I needed to come see how you were holdin' up."

"But... why?"

"You only saved my life, what, three times? I figure the least I can do is come talk to you."

Rainbow was confused when she said three times. She only remembered the one at the best young fliers competition, then she figured Spitfire was counting the other two times when the six elements saved Equestria. Spitfire continued talking, "I really wanted to come here anyway, and this was a good excuse. Plus I never really got to meet you."

Rainbow was somewhat surprised that the captain of the Wonderbolts wanted to meet HER. She always thought it was the other way around, "Well, uh, thanks. I guess."

Spitfire asked, "So, how did you manage to screw up so bad anyway?"

"Well, hehe, funny story. I was trying to impress my girlfriend-"

A part of Spitfire's heart fell when she learned that Dash had a marefriend, "Wait, let me guess. The Sonic Rainboom."

"Yeah, I broke through the sound barrier, but I broke it way too late and hit the ground. Did some pretty significant damage to me, and a few others."

"What were the damages it caused you?"

"Major concussion, a lot of broken bones, some minor internal bleeding. And that isn't even the worst of it." Rainbow stopped and chuckled to herself out of pity. She slowly turned her back enough so that Spitfire could see part of her back, "My wings."

Spitfire looked, and she saw nothing... wait NOTHING?!?! Spitfire gasped and her jaw fell open, "Y-your wings!"

Rainbow had pretty much become settled with the idea that she was never going to be able to fly again, "Heh, yeah. I screwed up pretty bad."

Spitfire's head was about to explode with all the questions, "B-b-b-but, what?"

Rainbow chuckled at the look on Spitfire's face, "Yeah, It really sucks. Everything I worked for thrown away in an instant."

Thousands of thoughts were running through Spitfire's mind. None of which were positive, she was still babbling on, "But how... what..."

Rainbow continued, "They tried to save my wings, but something went wrong in surgery."

Just a few seconds later, the door creaked open once again, this time a lavender mare had walked through the door, "Hey Rainbow! I-" She saw Spitfire and the surprised look on her face and sighed, "How many times have I walked in on you when somepony else is here?"

Rainbow attempted to answer that, but she couldn't recall any other times, "I actually don't know..."

Twilight smiled, she hadn't been doing much thinking about it lately, but she just noticed that Rainbow grew up. A lot. Spitfire had pushed most of the bad thoughts out of her head and asked, "So, Rainbow, this your marefriend?"

Rainbow responded, "Oh, Yeah! Twilight, Spitfire. Spitfire, Twilight. Yes, Spitfire. This is my beautiful marefriend."

Twilight blushed a little and continued where she was, "Rainbow, I came to tell you that the spell worked. It isn't easy to do... but it works perfectly!"

Rainbow smiled and replied, "Really? That's awesome!"

Spitfire broke into the conversation, "Ahem, what spell?"

Rainbow didn't answer the question but said, "You'll find out. That is, if you stick around."

Spitfire sighed and decided to stick around for another day. She had another week before she had to go back to training anyway, might as well enjoy it, "Fine."

Suddenly, a question invaded Rainbow's mind, "So, you're okay with, uh, mares liking other mares?"

Spitfire had been asked this before, "Yeah, I don't care about that stuff. I'll admit I like other mares as well."

Dash had been surprised at her response. She just said she was a 'filly fooler' with no hesitation. Rainbow sighed, this month was full of surprises.

Spitfire noticed and a little friend, "Dash, somethin' wrong?"

Rainbow looked up at Spitfire and quickly replied, "Nah, just this month has been full of surprises."

Spitfire pondered Rainbow's words, then she responded, "Yeah, I can imagine."

Rainbow looked at the clock hanging on the wall, 1:00. 'Wow. Have we really been talking that long?' Rainbow thought. She was still counting down, three hours to go. It seemed like all of them were done talking, so Dash decided to strike up a conversation, "So, Spitfire, aren't you supposed to be training or something?"

Spitfire turned her gaze to Rainbow Dash, "Well, yeah, but I'm taking a couple weeks off. Everypony needs a break once in a while, ya'know."

"Yeah." Rainbow replied.

Spitfire continued, "Plus it gets really boring when we train. We just do the same tricks and stunts every day. It amazes me how many people are willing to pay to see us do the same thing over and over again. The last time we switched routines was..." Spitfire paused for a minute, trying to remember when they actually did. She finally remembered, "Oh yeah, it was like two and a half years ago."

Rainbow thought for a moment. Now that she thought about it, she does remember them doing the same things at a lot of their shows. Spitfire continued to talk, "All the fame too, it's annoying. Privacy is almost irrelevant for the Wonderbolts. We almost always have reporters following us, wanting to turn something they heard into a completely false story."

Rainbow listened to her rant about all the bad things about being a Wonderbolt. She got a little tired of hearing about it, surprising as that is, and responded, "Hey, if it's all that bad, why don't you just quit? I'm sure you have more than enough bits to last you a lifetime and more."

Spitfire pondered the idea for a few moments. She never really thought about that, "Huh, I never really thought about that, maybe I'll buy a house here. That actually sounds nice... I'll think about it." Rainbow Dash was right, she did have enough bits to last more than a lifetime. That was one of the good things about being a Wonderbolt. Plus, if she moved to Ponyville, she would be able to get to know Dash better. That was her main reason for coming here in the first place. Two positives and no negatives. Well, a negative would be walking in the town for the first time, and when they found out she was living there. Two on Two. This was going to need some debating.

Twilight was about to say something. Her mouth opened and she was about to speak when the door opened and another pony you would never expect to see at a modern hospital to see Rainbow Dash. Twilight turned her head to the door just as it opens and, since her mouth was already open, she just gasps.

Spitfire turns from Rainbow and also looks. She gasps as well and her mouth stays open.

Rainbow was the first one to see, she was already in the same position as the other two, just not standing. It was...

Guys... I'm afraid I have some bad news... this story won't be very much longer, at most 3 chapters, and... the sequel... I'm afraid it won't be very happy... sorry... BUT Mabye it will be! Who knows. My head thinks things up, then it pressures itself to do those things. Then it changes those things. My mind is a very messed up place. Sorry about the late update... I feel as if my writing is starting to get worse and worse... plus I was bit by a deadly bug called TF2
