I used to live a normal life, I think. I can’t clearly remember anything before that day, that strange day. All I know is, that I was a boy, I think, and I was about twenty or so.  Now, let’s go back to “That day”, as I keep calling it. Let’s see… It was about 1:00PM, Tuesday, the first of January, 1980. I can’t remember how it all happened; all I know, is that I was laying on some soft, yet crunchy and brittle stuff; probably leaves, on my belly, and I woke up, to, of all things, a pony, watching me sleep. Specifically a pegasus, watching me sleep. Kinda creepy if you think about it, but then, when I looked at its face… It seemed to have a concerned look on its face. I can remember it like it was yesterday; its big, blue, cartoonish eyes, its blonde eyebrows partially raised.

It saw me awoken, and its concern seemed to lessen. At what it did next, mine grew. “Hello? Are you okay?” the pony spoke. My mind went into disbelief, and, without thinking, I shouted at it. “Y… You can talk?!” The pony seemed to be startled, as it jumped back, with a confused look on its face. “Well, yeah… I am a pony, after all…” the pony said, and, judging from the sound and gruffness of its voice, I’m fairly sure it was male. He was looking at me, as if I were ignorant. By this point, I believed I was either dreaming, or I’d gone mad. “B-but that’s why you shouldn’t…  B-be able to…!” he looked at me, as if I was mad.

“Did you hit you hit your head, or something? You’re a pony, too.” Okay, last time I checked, I’m fairly positive I didn’t have hooves or a tail. I checked my body out, just to be sure. What I found was quite unsettling. The pegasus standing before me was absolutely right, I was a pony. A pegasus, with a navy blue coat and a black tail. This is about the point where I started freaking out.

“I… I…” I began, before the pegasus interrupted me. “Have a really bad case of amnesia?” I couldn’t really think of any other logical explanation, so I nodded in agreement.

“Well… Do you have somewhere to live?” I shook my head no. “… Did you want to stay with me?” I looked towards the ground.

"I… If it’s not too much to ask… I-I could pay you…” He thought for a moment, and then began to grin.

“How about a compromise?”

“H-how do you mean?” I squeaked out. “Well, you could be my ‘pet’, and in exchange, you wouldn’t have to pay, and I’ll keep you fed and watered. Sound good?” I thought for a moment.

What does he mean by “pet”?’ He waited patiently for my answer, and I slowly nodded. “Great!” All of a sudden, he span me around, and then gasped. “Oh, you naughty colt!”

Yeah, says the one who’s looking at my privates…’ At that moment, I felt something wet go up the length of my member, making me gasp. “You’ve got both!” he exclaimed. The pony brought his head back up, and looked at me with happy eyes.

“Oh, I forgot to mention, my name’s Almaz, but you can call me Almy. What’s yours?” I stared off into the distance.

Do I even have a name?’ I wondered to myself, trying to remember if I did. “M… My name?...”

“Yeah,” Almaz spoke. “… You do have a name, right?”

“W-well… I don’t know…” I whispered.

“Would you like me to name you?” I nodded, and Almaz looked up at the sky. “Hmm… Light Flash.” he decided.

Light Flash? What a weird name…’ I thought to myself. “Right, well, let’s go home now.” Almaz flapped his wings, and took off, as I was barely even to my fee- or, I should say, hooves.

“W-wait!” I cried out, trying to run after him.

“What?” he called down to me, as he was circling around in the air, staring down at me.

“I… I can’t fly!” I shouted to him, still struggling to walk on all fours. I have to admit, I must have looked pretty silly. “Okay… Do you want me to walk with you?” Almaz asked, touching down on the ground.

“Y-yes…” I stuttered, as I slipped and fell over. Almaz helped me up, and it must have been at least half an hour before we reached Almaz’s house, and just before we got there, I finally got the hang of walking.
