Fallen Grace

"I can't wait for this meteor shower!" Twilight Exclaimed as the Mane Six trotted slowly through the canterlot gardens. "It comes once every 1000 years and legend says that if you make a wish on the right comet, It will come true." The group began a chatter amongst themselves about which comet they're going to wish on. "Oh yeah, But be careful not to choose Aetherius, The trickster comet... He'll make your wish true...But not in a way that you will like." Twilight cautioned her friends. Suddenly the group went silent when they heard the warning, now cautious and aware of what could happen.

When they arrived at the picnic site, Spike had already set up the decor and food. "There you are guys are! I've been waiting for you for ages! Celestia is already studying the comets to predict which one is which... Fluttershy?" Spike trailed off as he noticed something unusual about Fluttershy this evening. "You're more silent than usual, are you ok?" The mane six all turned to fluttershy who was brushing her hoof against the floor. Fluttershy, slightly startled by the sudden question, responded."O-oh yes, I'm fine Spike, thanks for asking though. I think I'll check up on some animals that I've just recently helped, just to see if they're all right. I'll be right back." Fluttershy suddenly walked away before anyone could say anything.

Celestia walked up to the group. " Hey everyone, I've just finished my little "cheat sheet" on which comet is.... Where's Fluttershy?" Celestia taking the absence of the silent and shy mare quite confusingly. "O-oh I'm right here Celestia!" Fluttershy said as she came trotting slightly faster than normal. "I hope I didn't miss anything." Celestia remained silent for a few seconds and spoke as if nothing had happened. "I just finished my little "cheat sheet" that accuratly predict which comet is which. Aetherius will be at the top, so be careful my little ponies." Celestia walked away, feeling Confident with her knowledge when Luna sudenly appeared on top of a cloud. "She's a showoff sometimes, We could've told you where Aetherius is in a heartbeat." Luna nearly declared in a soft tone as if afraid that her sister would hear.

Before Luna could continue, Pinkie Pie interrupted with her extremly loud voice. " LOOKIE LOOKIE, THE METEOR SHOWER IS STARTING!!!" And just as she spoke the words, Lights blossomed across the sky filling them with a mezmerizing trail of starlight, Fluttershy could be heard mumbling to herself. "Okay Aetherius, I hope this works." She whispered so softly that almost no-one could hear. Mumbling could be heard abruting throughout the mane six as they all made their wishes.

After it was all said and done, and the mane six opened their eyes to finish their wishes, A great flash of white light broke in the sky and the comet Aetherius suddenly began plummeting to the ground." This can't be good..." Twilight said with a high tint of fear in her voice. When Aetherius "hit", a flash of light blanketed the sky. Fluttershy could be seen with a half confused frown and kept constantly mumbling to herself "Was that supposed to happen?" so softly that it was near inaudible.

When all the fear was over and done with, the mane six returned to thier homes anxoiusly waiting to see if they got the right star. Fluttershy, Still confused about what had happened was walking home when suddenly she tripped over a box that erupted a sharp cry and a faint crying afterwards. Fluttershy stared at the box for a few minutes and digned herself to look inside. Its contents were in fact one alicorn colt, her age with a dirty white coat with a white and blue mane and saphire colored eyes. He was silently crying to himself with his eyes shut tight constantly gritting his teeth saying "what is this place?" to himself in loathing anger.

"H-Hey. A-Are you okay?" Fluttershy spoke hoping that her wish had not come true this time. The colt looked up in panic and rushed out of the box with wings set to fly. Before Fluttershy could stop him, The alicorn had taken off towards the everfree with no set course. "NO! DON'T GO IN THERE!" Fluttershy exclaimed at the air that once held a mysterious colt. She soon realized that there was no chance that the colt had heard her, and even if he had, She doubted that he would've stopped. "W-W-Was he?..." Fluttershy thought longingly as she walked the rest of the distance to her home.
