Many ponys, kidnapped, captured, or downright unlucky. All of them captured, by the Pony of Fortune, Regal Charmer. See through their eyes as he finds a new way to make money in the District of Desire, and the corruption and debauchery they go through under the hooves of the cruel Regal Charmer.

After Regal Charmer and his band capture a Macabre Music Machine, they figure out how to make it play particular tunes with various effects. Not only that, but they find a way to nullify and even target using it, albeit to limited potential. Still, Regal sees a way that he could use this Music Box to afford him and his crew the easy life.

But not so easy for the ponies he "recruits".
