Lanterns were suddenly lit all around me, blinding me. Some laughter was heard while my eyes adjusted to the light. Looking above me, I saw that I was indeed in some kind of arena, surrounded by a large, tough looking cage. Around me were several seats and chairs and benches. It looked like I was in a mini gladiator arena/bar, and sitting in a kinda throne surrounded by a few other ponies, was a rather intimidating looking unicorn.
He had a dark green coat, with fiery red hair. He also had a rather impressive goatee and mane eloquently combed into a style that, with his rimed hat with a single feather, reminded me kinda of a pirate. He wore a dark vest with many pockets, and had two curved blades at his sides. Looking at his side, I saw his cutie mark was of three things. A golden pirate ship, two crossed swords, and a male and female sex symbal intertwining. It was then I was drawn to his eyes.
My heart nearly stopped when I saw his eyes. One eye was a vibrant, almost glowing yellow that burned with intensity. The other eye, was a gentle pink. I feel a weird sense of ease around it, then I noticed a special attachment connected to the crank.
" This," spoke Regal Charmer, drawing my attention.", Is a Macabre Music Machine. A toy of the Cult of Laughter. Me and my men captured this little gift on an earlier raid. After a bit of tweaking, some studying, and a little torture or two, we found out how to play it effectively, using its multiple effects to our will.
" We even managed to make a special type of enchantment that repels the magic of this music box, though the enchantment can only be used to enchant chains and cages so far."
I uneasily look at the cage I am currently trapped in, and Regal laughs.
" Exactly. Anything inside that cage is affected by the Macabre Music Box, while us outside are safe. In addition, we can make it so that the musical effect lasts and hone it, so that it can affect a mass of ponies or a single pony and everywhere in between. Unfortunately, this process is only usable in areas where the Cult has a good grip. Like, say," He spreads his arms open, obviously referring to where we were now.", Baltimare.
" Now, I intend to make a little addition to the District of Desires. A mixture, between a fighting arena, betting hall, and brothel." At his last word I blush, trying to keep my gaze centered on him, but nervously glancing at the Macabre Music Machine.
" To put it simply, depending on what button I push," he refers to the buttons on his throne." I can have two opponents fight to the death, see who loses their sanity first, or.." He presses a button, and I immediately tense up. I see the music box winding up, playing its twisted music. But I don't hear it? Why don't I hear it?
What I do hear, is one of the doors opening. Turning my eyes to the door, I see it is the one with the Jester Hat and Smile. From inside comes a mare. She is a Pegasus, and a rather cute one at that. How did it all go so wrong?
A simple scouting mission. One to gauge and if needed to assault what was thought to be a Moon and Star outpost nearby Redheart's Refuge. We had received Intel that some of the mages from Moon and Star were planning to set up an advance camp there, and that they even had one of those monstrous Ursa Minors with them. That, is what the Buffalo Raiders were sent to scope out.
The Buffalo Raiders aren't known for their power. What they are known for is their speed, stealth, and tenacity. They could be in and out without any the wiser, and if needed, they could strike hard with hit-and-run tactics. That is whay they were chosen. No one could have seen how this battle turned out..
Running Stream was an exceptional Buffalo Raider, known for her extreme stamina and speed even to rival that of an airborne pegasus. Smiling, she turned back to the river, whistling on the wind. Quickly, the rest of her troop made it's way along the river, swimming past it. She and a few Buffalo Raiders made their way through the river, heading for Redheart's Refuge.
As they raced their way along the bank, a telescope glinted in the distance, a smirk appearing on the face of the pony who was gazing at these troops.
" Say, do we have any buffalo in the games?" this gruff, black maned pegasi asked the blue coated unicorn mare beside him.
" Some warriors and two juggernauts. Why?" she replied, looking over the shoulder of her comrade, the both of them hidden inside of their Airship, carefully cloaked to blend in with the air.
" Because I just spotted some Raiders." replied the Pegasi, fluffing his wings." Captain said to catch a multitude of different types, so why not some raiders?" The unicorn tapping his shoulder surprised him, pulling his gaze from the Buffalo Raiders to look at his comrade. The unicorn pointed out, in the direction they were running. A soft glint captured the pegasi's gaze, focusing his lens.
" Some Marksmages, Legionnaires, and some Slave Warriors. A Moon and Star outpost?" questioned the Pegasi, focusing his telescope." And they brought an Ursa Minor? Jeez.."
" Let us see how this turns out first.. If a fight breaks out, we might be able to get some scrabblers and runners. Those Marksmages might be fooled by our camo-spell, but they are still a threat." The unicorn replied, leaning in her seat. Shrugging, the Pegasi kept his eyes on the scene, a smirk returning to his face.
" If all goes well, we will have plenty of recruits."
Running Stream and her group pulled close to the camp, sneaking in the shade of the trees that were close by. It seemed that their info was right. Those stuck up religious zealots really did set up a forward camp. Granted it wasn't in Redheart Refuge, but it was close. Making sure they were a reasonable distance from the soldiers, Running Stream and her companion's began to regroup.
" Ok, from the looks of things they don't really have much in the way of offense." started Stream, looking over the bush." But they have plenty of numbers. That Ursa is going to be trouble too."
" Assuming they can catch us.." spoke one of the five Buffalo Raiders that accompanied Running Stream.
" The Marksmages will be trouble too.. We might have enough space between us to make it back to the river. We need to alert Applejack the Ever Vigilant." Said another, nervously looking at the Ursa that was currently asleep, being tended to by its mentors.
" Agreed.. Let us return post-haste." agreed Running Stream, making sure that the enemies were preoccupied. As the group turned tail and retreated, Running Stream looked down, sighing as they ran. They were silent and quick, making their way towards the river. Still, Running Stream could not shake this feeling of unease. Something made her fur stand up.
" What troubles you sister?" asked one of her brethren, tilting his head curiously. Running Stream did not answer immediately, seeming to gather her thoughts.
" I was, hoping to see if I could find my father.." she spoke slowly." He was said to have been lost near here." Running Stream glanced around, her sense of unease coming back even stronger. Something was wrong.
" Something isn't right." Running Stream spoke, stopping her group. The grass, the soil. It looked like something had changed. Digging her hoof into the soil, she looked around uneasily. Something had come through here, something had changed with the land. But what?
" Come on, we need to get back before the Moon and Star fanatics find us." spoke one of her group, moving forward in a dash.
" Wait!" Running Stream spoke, recognizing some of the grass was replaced. She spoke to late as her teammate stepped onto the new grass, falling into a pit that was recently dug. Rushing to the edge, Stream saw that her teammate was alright. The hole was dug to trap, not to kill.
" Ambush!" yelled another of the Buffalo Raiders, hearing what sounded like blow pipes. A dart embedding in the side of one of her fellow Raider's proved her feelings. Hidden in the nearby trees, a few Zebra Skirmishers were firing on the Buffalo Raiders. Running Stream guided the last four of her group towards the lake, but was hesitant on leaving her our brethren.
" Our mission is to alert Applejack!" yelled Running Stream." Make sure she knows at any cost!" Running Stream lifted her paralyzed companion on her back, running as well as she could with her group. The Zebra Skirmishers, only two of them thanks to a previous fight, continued to fire their darts. Running Stream dodged as fast as she could with the buffalo on her back, worried about the buffalo in the pit.
Her thoughts were cut short as she felt a dart pierce her flank, making her jump. Already she could feel the drowsiness and paralysis freeze her muscles and body, but she still tried to fight it. Thankfully the rest of her team were now rushing across the river. Her arms felt like jelly, her vision becoming hazy. Everything was going darker, and she couldn't hold onto her consciousness any longer. At least Applejack would know.
Running Stream fell, her companion and her both paralyzed. Sensing no more trouble, the two Zebra Skirmishers made their way towards her, one checking the pit.
" For a buffalo of plains and thatch, you certainly were easy to catch." Spoke one zebra, looking into the pit where the last buffalo was trapped. The Buffalo Raider merely looked up defiantly.
" Three Raiders have now fallen to thee, let us return to the Everfree. But do we kill or do we bring, these buffalo as our trophies?" The other zebra asked, poking Running Stream's unconscious form.
" How about, all of you can come with us?" spoke a voice, several Arquebi readying. The two Zebras looked up to see several Ponys of Fortune aimed at them, some of them close by.
" Goodnight, new contestants." spoke the black maned Unicorn, casting a Sleep Spell.
' Ooh.. My head..' Running Stream thought, her body still numb from the dart.' Damn Zebra's, and their damn darts.. Why can't they see the Everfree forest is like a plaque, devouring what land it can?' Her body felt warm slightly, like she was resting in a bed. It wasn't uncomfortable, resting in a bed. Wait, she was captured, wasn't she? Why was she in a bed? Did her troop come back to save her? Where there other ponies who were more lenient? Did the Skirmishers just pull back after stunning them?
So many questions, and Stream was just willing to try and forget all that mess and sleep in the bed. Still, she knew she had to try and wake and figure out where she was, so she grudgingly tried to move her body. Her body was a bit sluggish from the paralysis dart, but she was able to effectively move her body.
' Got all four limbs, my tail and my head.. Flank stings a bit though.' Running Stream thought, slowly opening her eyes. From what she could see, she was in a dim lit room. It had a sink, counter, restroom in a corner, the bed she was in, and bars? Opening her eyes a bit more, she took in the sights easier. She was in a jail cell, but it was made a little differently, the bars only on one wall, the other walls made of a kinda polished marble. Even more disrupting was the fact that it didn't feel like it was near the plains of her home. A worried look appeared on her face, Stream looking around a bit before spotting a bowl on the counter. It was filled with the familiar cooking of her people, yet how did it get here? She blushed as she felt her stomach rumble. Gingerly testing her feet, she slowly got onto the edge of the bed and stood on her legs.
She was still a bit wobbly, but she could stand. Considering how hungry she was, she wagered that it had been at least a day since she had eaten. An entire twenty-four hours since she had eaten, and she was feeling it. Stomach grumbling, she slowly made her way to the counter, sniffing the bowl. Still she was suspicious, prodding the soup with her hoof. It was fresh, and seemed to be made of the same ingredients of back home. Leaning close, she sniffed it testingly. It didn't smell poisoned, and her stomach was increasingly bothering her. Tentatively, she took a lick. Her eyes widened, a smile coming to her face. It was just as good as her family's brew. Eagerly, she took to eating and swallowing the delicious food. Barely she registered a glass of water beside her, only drinking from it when she needed to. Her stomach quickly thanked her as she burped, licking her lips of the tasty meal.
A scream from some distance away made her jump, reminding her of the situation she was in. She quickly examined the room again to see if she missed anything, before looking at the bars. They were sturdy, made with a special lock. Pressing her hoof against the bar, Running Stream tested the bars before looking around. She was in a single cell, at the end of a small hallway. All around her had other cells, but strangely she couldn't see or hear anypony else in the other cells. She could sense someone else, but couldn't see or hear them.
' The cells must have been enchanted.' Running Stream surmised, sighing.' Probably from some unicorn..' Shaking her head, she sat on her haunches as she tried to determine where she was. The stone and metal that her room was made of didn't seem to be made of any familiar clay or rock, meaning she was probably far from her home. Thinking on the magics enchanting the cells, she shivered at the thought of being in the territory of that insane alicorn. Twilight was a monster; a cruel and merciless monster for the deeds she had done. It was also proven that she thought all non-unicorns were nothing more then slaves, so if she really was held by Moon and Star forces then she was in trouble. The sound of her cage lock being fiddled with made Stream jump up, getting low to the ground and facing the door. She was intending to make a break for it, to bum rush past whoever was opening the door. As the door opened up, Running Stream rushed towards it, bursting through the other side. Already in a full gallop, she raced down the corridor before turning her head back to see.. Nopony?
Pressing her hooves down to stop herself, Stream turned to the opening to her door to see nopony was around. Who opened her cage door? Did they forget to lock it properly?
Not one to look a gift pony in the mouth, Running Stream continued her quick gait through the hallway, passing by even more cages. It didn't take long to reach the end of the hallway. It was a simple door, yet Running Stream froze. The wind coming from the door smelt strange. A mixture of blood, and sexual fluids? Stream crinkled her nose, a slight blush coming to her face as she peeked through the keyhole. From her position, she could see it led out into a big circular area with several doors of different sizes. Taking the knob of the door, she opened it slowly, stepping into the big room. It was built like a coliseum, the main part of it halfway sunken into the floor while the top was covered in a tough looking cage. On the other sides of the cage was several seats and benches, as well as several bars and food stands. But what surprised Running Stream most of all was all the ponies in the stands, drinking and watching her in the arena.
" Ladies and Gentlecolts! The next match will commence shortly! A testament to our buffalo brethren, a three way match!" came a loud voice over the crowd, spoken through a megaphone by a pony in an announcers box. Running Stream jumped, glancing around worriedly.
" All bets are in!" continued the announcer." In one corner, Running Stream!" The crowd cheered, though some booed as well. Stream didn't know what to make of this." Running Stream has been a strong leader of her Buffalo Raiders, using her extreme speed to raid and attack without fear! She is well known to attack caravans delivering from Whitetail Peak! Let us see how she uses her speed to outmatch two fellow buffaloes!"
Running Stream gulped. The caravans from Whitetail Peak; she was in Whitegold territory! They intended her to fight two fellow buffalo? Not on her life!
" I don't intend to give any of you cowards sport!" Running Stream yelled, met with boos from the crowd.
" Silly buffalo, you got no choice." The announcer retorted, before resuming his thundering voice." In this corner, Stone Crusher from the Galloping Giants tribe!"
One of the medium doors to the left of Running Stream opened up, Stream gasping as a Buffalo Juggernaut stormed in through the door. He seemed furious, glancing left and right in a frenzy, before cooling off enough to notice her. The crowd was ecstatic again, their cheers only seeming to agitate Stone Crusher. She had heard of the Galloping Giants tribe, how they donned their heavy armor and became forces of devastation. But this was the first time she had seen one in person. The way his armor was scratched and chipped, plus his temperament made Running Stream take a step back from him.
" Finally, our reigning champion in the Buffalo division! From the plains of Appleloosa! The Buffalo Warrior, Thundering Stream!" The crowd went wild, but Running Stream didn't hear them. Her gaze was focused on the door opening across from her, her eyes wide and hopeful. Stepping out from the doorway, dignified and powerful looking, was her father. Running Stream had heard that her father Thundering had gone missing during an attack made by House Whitegold. She was so worried that he was dead, but now. She rushed forward, Thundering Stream gasping as he saw his daughter racing towards him. He seemed shocked, and worried, but Running didn't care. She leapt at his side, putting her hooves around his arm.
" Daddy!" she said, her eyes getting watery." I-I thought you were gone. I am so happy to see you again!" Running Stream clung to his arm, holding on hard as if scared to lose him again. Tears were now streaming down her cheeks, Thundering Stream slowly smiling as he nuzzled his daughter. But slowly, his smile changed to one of worry.
" No.. No, you can't be here.." He said, Running Stream looking up at him with tears in her eyes." You shouldn't have been captured!"
At hearing Thundering exclaim this loudly, Running Stream jumped back, hurt from his tone. He seemed terrified of her, scared to death that she was there by his side. But what the announcer spoke next made her blood run cold.
" What's this?! Two of the buffalo that will soon be fighting to the death are related! What's more, the father is Thundering Stream, who has single-hoffidly ended the lives of countless buffalo brethren in this very arena!" The crowd was going nuts, stomping and cheering as Running Stream looked at her father in horror. He had killed other buffalo? In this sick game for the ponies? No, there had to be an explanation. Maybe it was to defend himself! But.. He would have to face her?! And she him! No, she wouldn't! But as Thundering began to cry, she felt her heart waver and unease coming to her.
" Running Stream.. I am sorry.." he spoke, Running Stream backing a bit from her father. It was then she heard a strange noise, turning her head to it. Anywhere away from her father. Her eyes landed on a strange music box coming from inside the floor, protected by a powerful shield. As she saw it, her pupils shrank in horror. Fresh memories of the twisted Cultists using this contraption to enslave the minds of others streamed through her mind, her brain sending warnings up wildly. Then, in a moment of clarity and cold understanding, she got it. Her father didn't kill anypony of his own free will.. They made him do it, like they were going to make him do to her.
The music box began to play, Running Stream immediately getting low to the ground and covering her ears. Strangely, she didn't hear the tune, or any music or sound at all except for the crowd. Opening her eyes, she saw the music box going back into the floor. Tilting her head curiously, she jumped as she heard hoof-beats rushing her way. She wasn't the target of the music... Stone and Thundering were.
She barely leapt out of the way as Stone slammed his horns into where she just was, shattering some of the rock of the floor. Before he could pull back, Thundering slammed his own horns into Stone's side, his horns scraping along Stone's armor. Skidding along the ground, Running Stream watched as her father leapt back from Stone, only to rush into his side again. The crowd oohed and cheered at this sick show, making Running feel ill. Stone lashed back with his horns, Thundering Stream using his agility to leap back away from Stone Crusher, now rushing to his side. Running Stream could only watch as Thundering ran around Stone, making him a bit dizzy before slamming his horns into Stone's back. Several ponies cheered at this feat of acrobatics, but Stone was infuriated, his armor holding on well. The sound of horn scraping armor echoed in the arena, Stone bucking Thundering in his mouth. Running Stream screamed as her father lurched back from the buck, his jaw seeming broken and bleeding profoundly. Several teeth were knocked out, Stone using this moment to whirl around. Running Stream noticed a tomahawk among the field, probably left from another fight. Rushing to it, she picked it up into her mouth and rushed towards Stone as he began to hoof at the ground, preparing a charge.
" It seems that Running Stream is now on the offensive! What will happen!" roared the announcer, the crowd cheering in anticipation. Thundering quickly leapt back as Stone lunged with his horns, Stone lurching back to hoof the ground. As Stone began his charge, Running Stream leapt at his side, striking her tomahawk against his side. He lurched in pain, her small tomahawk striking between the plates of his shoulder armor. Stone lashed at Running Stream, but she had already leapt away from him. Directing his charge at her, Running Stream feinted to the right, before leaping to the left to avoid Stone's rush. Her joy was short lived however as Thundering followed Stone's charge, instead aimed for Running. Running Stream ducked and rolled to the side, letting out a yell as one of Thundering's feet kicked at her flank. She winced, feeling his hoof kick her side hard, sending her spinning on the ground. Trying to regain her focus, Running Stream got up from her rolled position, gasping as pain lanced her flank. Seeing Thundering turn around to continue his charge however made her ignore the pain.
Thundering lurched his horns towards her, intending to gore her, but Running Stream leapt onto his head, running along his back. Running Stream leapt off his back as he rolled onto his back to get her off from him, gasping as Stone used this distraction to slam his horns and armor tusks into Thundering's side. Her let out a loud bellow as the metal and horn pierced his side, his blood spurting onto Stone's face from the impact. Stone pulled his face back, only to slam it into Thundering's side again. Thundering rolled to the side, trying not to flinch as blood poured down his left side.
Running Stream screamed, rushing at Stone with her tomahawk at the ready. Stone turned to see her, slamming his head towards her as he braced himself. His head slammed into Running's front, knocking the wind from her lungs, but not before she swung her tomahawk down. Flailing in the air, Running Stream landed on her side from the headbutt as Stone shouted in pain. Regaining her footing, Running saw what she had done. Her tomahawk was wedged in his eye, one of the few parts not covered by armor. Stone was flailing and bucking like crazy, trying to remove the tomahawk from his eye. He tried to grasp at it, his own blood now copiously spurting over his face plate and into his mouth. Now blind in one eye, Stone turned his furious gaze to Running Stream, snorting in anger before charging.
Running Stream was still catching her breath from the headbutt, trying to stagger to her feet. Falling back as Stone rushed close, she gasped as Thundering slammed his shoulder into Stone to knock him off course. Stone ended up ramming into the wall beside Running, his horns getting stuck in the wall. Thundering used this distraction to repeatedly slam and gore his horns into Stone's side, his horns digging into the armor and chain mail. Forcing his horns against the underside of Stone, Thundering forced Stone onto his side. Stone kicked and struggled to regain his footing, his head still stuck, but Thundering rammed his horns into the defenseless underside of Stone's body. The arena was filled with ripping and squishing sounds as Thundering gored Stone with his horns, ripping away at his stomach and chest. The crowd went wild, cheering at the sight while a few poor betters cursed their bad luck.
Running Stream could only stare in horror as her father pierced Stone's belly, using his horns to rip and tear his flesh and to pull out his internal organs. She gagged, watching as he used one horn to scoop up Stone's intestine, ripping it from the Buffalo Juggernaut's torn belly. Still Thundering did not stop, plunging his horns into Stone's stomach even as Stone stopped struggling, his breathing becoming ragged as life escaped from him. Tears stream down Running's eyes as she turned her gaze from the horrible sight. True, she had taken her own fair share of lives in this war, but seeing her own father brutally mutilating what was a fellow buffalo made her sick. Coughing, Running Stream lost her lunch there, her stomach unwilling to hold its contents anymore at the sight. The acrid taste stung her throat and nose, Running Stream vomiting. Soon however, she began to cough and pant, her stomach expelling all its contents. It was then she noticed that she couldn't hear the sound of goring anymore.
" Only two combatants left! The father daughter team! Both are damaged, but who will come out on top?!" yelled the announcer, the crowd going wild and stomping their hooves. Running Stream looked up at Thundering Stream, her eyes watery as she watched her father lower his head and rush her. Using her natural speed, Running Stream leapt to the side to avoid her father's rush, barely avoiding as he tilted his head at the last second. She rolled from the jump, landing near Stone's corpse. As she turned to look at Stone, she noticed his head was free. But not only that, but her tomahawk was still lodged in his eye. Turning her gaze towards Thundering, she saw him beginning to charge her again. Taking a ditch dodge, Running Stream leapt at the tomahawk as Thundering leapt at her.
" OH MY CELESTIA!" screamed the announcer as the crowd roared.
A dull, throbbing pain. The sounds of screaming and cheering. Dots popping in front of her eyes. Running Stream lurched back from the impact, slamming directly into the wall as she head the sound of a large body hitting the ground. Her eyes rung and her body shook, Running Stream clenching her eyes from the pain while spitting up some blood. She could barely hear the announcer and the ponies anymore, her bruised body just wanting to rest or black out to escape the pain. But she had to look...
Opening her eyes, Running Stream felt tears coming to them as she viewed Thundering, her father, dead in front of her. Her tomahawk was firmly lodged in his skull, deep into his head as his blood coated his face. She had swung out of instinct, her weapon hitting right on target. Even though her blow was a killing one, his momentum made his corpse slam into her. Running Stream gagged, feeling his blood on her body as the thoughts of what she did began to swirl in her mind. Looking up into the stands, her body paralyzed with the disbelief of what she just did, Running Stream looked up at a prominent figure in the stands. A unicorn, with a green coat and fiery red hair, was staring at her with a large, twisted grin.
Looking into his different colored eyes, eyes that screamed that this was only the beginning, Running Stream couldn't hold onto her consciousness anymore. Her eyes shut, her body being taken by sleep while the echoes of the crowd filled her ears.
She didn't know how long she was out, only that she was surrounded once again by the soft covers of a bed. Stirring softly, Running Stream began to awaken from her uneasy sleep, her dreams scarred by the images of her father dead before her. Hearing a cough, Running Stream's eyes immediately popped open, Running leaping up in the bed. Being that she was wrapped up snugly in the covers, her leaping had tied her more efficiently in the covers and sent her tumbling onto the floor.
" Ow.." Running growled, before opening her eyes and beholding the one who had coughed. It was that same unicorn, the dark grey coated one with the disturbing eyes. He was sitting in a chair across from her bed, with an earth pony in a white medical coat. The earth pony was just done sealing up his bag, looking at Running.
" I don't recommend moving around to much. I just closed those wounds of yours, and healed you to the best of my abilities. Still, don't horseplay too much, and they will heal fine." said the earth pony as he referred to her bandaged body, but Running's eyes were directly on the unicorn. The way he gazed at her frightened her, filling her with dread. Seeing her looking at him, the unicorn smiled. This sent a shiver down her spine.
" Quite a show out there Running Stream, the patrons enjoyed it greatly." said the unicorn. Shockingly, his voice was soothing to Running, and something else... Running felt his silky words sinking into her mind, even though the topic wasn't that desirable." I, am Regal Charmer. I am the owner of this estate, as well as the games being held here."
Running's attention was snapped out of her reverie as she heard Regal saying he owned these games. So HE was responsible for all this?! Gazing around the room, Running began to look for anything that she might use as a weapon to mutilate this, this, twisted unicorn! Regal didn't seem perturbed. Rather, he seemed excited as Running glared at him while trying to stand up.
Struggling in the covers, she gasped as the earth pony grabbed the covers and pulled her back into the bed. She fought as well as she could, the doctor telling her to not stress herself too much.
" I will kill you! You monster! Wait till I get free!" Running Stream growled, fighting in her bonds. It wasn't until the doctor held up a needle threateningly.
" Now don't make me sedate you. I am trying to help you heal." said the doctor, looking concerned.
" Why? You are just going to keep me locked her for your sick games!" Shouted Running, Regal still smiling. That smile pissed her off.
" While I do intend on keeping you here, I also intend to keep you healthy. If you are undamaged then you will do better in the games. That, and I can't bear to see such a beauty so hurt." Regal Charmer said, Running Stream beginning to blush angrily.
" I will end you.." Running said, before getting ready to spit at Regal. A sudden swishing through the air and one of Regal's blades was inches away from Running's face, Running freezing up as her eyes widened in fear.
" I wouldn't do that if I were you. I have a bit of a temper for certain things, and I would hate to do something we would both regret." Regal said, before moving his blade back into his scabbard with his magic." Now, I would like to give you a choice. Either you can continue in the Fighting Arena, like you did today. Or, you can participate in the arena's other games?"
Running Stream was uneasily staring at Regal Charmer. When he talked about the arena's other games, she felt a strange unease in her body. Especially as he gazed at her body. While she didn't want to go back into that horrid arena, she didn't know what the arena's OTHER games were like. Or.. Why she felt uncomfortable at the mention of them.
" What.. Other games?" Running asked, looking into Regal's eyes. Her stomach clenched as he began to smile.
The Pegasi Hoplite hit the ground, her legs lassoed up by the Appleloosan Ranger, and began to flap her wings desperately. She wasn't going to be so easily beaten by a mere workhorse! As soon as she flapped her wings up and got a good lift, she was immediately tugged back down again. Her chin hit the floor, dazing her slightly even as she heard the Ranger running up to her. Before she could move anymore, she could feel the Ranger using her ropes to bind her wings and tieing her up, making it so her wings were bound to her sides and her legs tied together.
" D-Damn Ranger! Let me g-nnghgh!" She started to say, the Ranger gagging her with her rope as well.
" Don'tcha worry sugar flanks, I ain't gonna hurt ya~ Ah just got ta make sure ya don't give me any trouble." The Ranger said, making sure that the Hoplite was fully bound. Smiling at her work the red coated Ranger walked around the white coated Hoplite, admiring the supple curves of her flank and ass. Finding her prize, she reached out her hoof. The Hoplite struggle in her binds, trying to pull free even as the lust hungry Ranger began to prod her marehood. The crowd watched enraptured as the Ranger grabbed the lips of the bound Hoplite, spreading her sweet folds and showing her pink inside to the crowd.
" Get a good look pardners~" The Ranger murred, the crowd cheering appreciatively.
As the Ranger began to near her mouth towards the tied up Hoplite's slit, a purple coated unicorn walked towards one of the doors that led deeper into the Siren's Charm. The door she chose was coated gold, with a plaque that said "Private Dances". Walking inside, she looked around the main lobby. Ever since she was sent to make sure everything was proper according to regulations, Anora Scripture had found that this place was much bigger then what it seemed on the outside.
She guessed it made sense, since the proprietor of this establishment had also purchased the three properties next to this one as well. Looking over her notes, she began to recheck what she had already cataloged. In addition, she also found that there was only a few defects to regulations. These defects were easily repaired thanks to the generosity of the proprietor.
First off was the main building, the Siren's Charm. The main lobby itself was of course the bar, filled to the brim with many drinks and beverages for any palate. She was also surprised to see that the foods and drinks catered to not only ponies, but also zebras, griffons, buffalo, diamond dogs, and a plethora of other sentient species. Apparently many beings were welcome here. From the bar you could go upstairs to the bedrooms and rented rooms, effectively making this place just as much a hotel as a bar.
The building attached to the left of the Siren's Charm was used as a training and fighting arena; a gym to hone your skills and fight many others. When asked if it was a club for fighting, all Anora got was stern stares and replies saying " That goes against the first and second rules." Feeling uneasy, Anora left this area after making sure that everything was set to the rules and regulations.
The building connected to the back of the Siren's Charm was a massive arena, used for both pitting others to fight against each other as well as.. Sexual combat it seemed. Blushing, Anora thought back to the sight of the Ranger spreading the Hoplite's pussy for them to see. Here these battles and main events would take place to the betting and pleasure of the others. It was also explained that the speakers built into the actual arena delivered a special sound-wave that drove the combatants with lust, insanity, depression, or rage. She would need to talk with Regal Charmer about how this was done at the end of her tour.
The cellar of the Siren's Charm was a mystery, Anora having yet to explored it yet. For now, she was investigating the building formed to the right. From Regal's explanation, it was a mixture of a main brothel and 'special' brothel. When she asked what he meant about a 'special' brothel, Regal went to explain that if any of his patrons had a sexual itch for one of the ponies or beings in the war, even those of an opposite House, that they could set up a 'special' private room for them to satisfy themselves without worry of retribution or retaliation.
He even joked that even if she wanted to fuck an Earthborn Juggernaut without him attacking her, she could. Blushing, she looked around the lobby of the Private Dances building. Sitting at the front desk were two ponies, one a black coated pegasi and the other a blue coated unicorn. From their name-tags Anora saw the pegasi was named Storm Gale and the unicorn was named Aqua Gleam.
Walking up to the front desk, Storm Gale smiled at Anora as she sat in front of them on the soft cushions. It seems there were also many doors in this lobby, each one labeled with either the coat of one of the Houses or a simple heart.
" So what brings a sweet, cute mare like yourself to the Pleasure Halls? Wanting to find somepony to spend a little time or fun with?" spoke Storm Gale, before Aqua Gleam finished for him." Or do you have something special in mind~ Maybe a Pegasi Hoplite, Zebra Skirmisher, or even an Earthborn Juggernaut?~" Anora blushed again. What was with it, ponies thinking she wanted to fuck a Juggernaut?! Granted they were big, strong.. Handsome... Shaking her head to regain her thoughts, she held up her clipboard.
" I am here to make sure everything is up to the standards of Mistress Rarity. So as such I am going to have to see both types of 'dances' in action, as well as see if everything is tip top." Anora spoke, keeping her professional manner.
" Fair enough. Follow me and I will show you the standard brothel." Storm said, coming from the back of the counter and walking towards one of the heart doors. Following Storm, Anora kept a brisk pace as she followed into the heart doors. Inside she saw that it lead to a simply adorned hallway, made in a classical sense and properly cleaned. It was also well lit, with no flaws or problems. So far everything was up to the standards of the set regulations. Looking inside one of the rooms, she saw that it was also furnished nicely. Some rooms were outfitted to be simply a lavish bedroom, while others with whips and chains depending on their fetishes. She could find a room for every fetish and everything was in regulation.
" Now, for the next part of our tour, you need to view our 'special' brothel parts. Each door as you noticed as a symbol of a House. Inside we have units from each House of course, and by using the same sound technology from our arena we can make your, heehee, opponent fall in love, horny as hell, or submissive to you." Aqua spoke up as Anora and Storm walked back into the main lobby." But first, I have to ask. Which House do you wish to partake from?~"
Anora was flushed, but coughed softly. Looking at the doors, she began to decide which House she was better to observe. She was surprised to see a door representing every single House, including the Cult of Laughter and even House Whitegold?! Turning to demand what that was about, Aqua cut her off.
" The allies of House Whitegold are all volunteers from our House. They are here of their own free will to help assist in the pleasures of others. With the right price of course." Aqua explained, before looking hesitantly at the Cult of Laughter door.
" And.. them?" Anora was nervous at seeing the symbol.
" Those we have captured. Every enemy house has the highest of defenses and countermeasures, so everypony is completely safe. Even the Cult can be under our control, so any of our patrons with that kink can get them scratched safely." Storm spoke before leaning back." We don't judge."
" As for why we haven't alerted Mistress Rarity to the technology we have, we have yet to perfect this technology. Also we can only use it in small amounts. Otherwise we would have offered it directly to our Mistress for use in the war." Aqua spoke. Regardless, Anora would inform Mistress Rarity of this, but for now.. Looking at each of the doors, she began to ponder which one would be suitable to test out to her own preferences. Looking around, her eyes landed on the House Everfree door. She wanted to see if they had truly tamed such wild beasts, and it was a safer alternative to the Cult in her mind.
" House Everfree please." Anora spoke, Aqua smiling knowingly.
" Have a wild side huh? Never would have guessed~ Such a refined appearance but wanting the primal, base, feral lust of the wild~" Aqua teased, making Anora flush in embarrassment." Ok, here. This is a list of the units we have enlisted from House Everfree. Pick which one or ones you wish to enjoy~"
Anora huffed as she took the list, glancing at the choices she could pick. Her eyes widened immediately, seeing that they even had Timberwolves and Everfree Wraiths. Looking up in shock, she was met with Aqua shrugging.
" We don't judge. Whatever kink you have, you can scratch here." Aqua explained, Anora looking back down at the list. She wasn't too keen on getting near a Timberwolf. Instead, she opted for a safer choice.
" A Wildling Pony." Anora said, Aqua nodding.
" Final question. Male or female?" Aqua replied, looking over to Storm now dealing with some more patrons. Anora blinked in surprise, but then again the scene in the Main Arena replayed in her mind. They truly didn't judge on your sexual preference. Then...
" Um... Female.." Anora spoke softly. Aqua leaned forward while holding a hoof to her ear.
" Say again?"
" F.. Female please." Anora was now blushing deeper, nervously moving her hooves. Grabbing her own pony-tailed mane she began to stroke it in nervousness. Her blush grew even deeper as Aqua licked her lips. The feeling of her warm, wet tongue lapping against her soft lips drew a moan from Anora, Aqua smiling happily.
" As you wish. Follow me.~" Aqua murred teasingly, Anora following with a blush on her face. Walking into the large door with the House Everfree symbol, she was met with the sight of an elevator. Instead of floor numbers, it showed a console with pictures. Ones of each unit, and one of the lobby. Beside the units screen was also another screen, which held multitude of numbers. While smiling knowingly, Aqua pressed the Wildling symbol, the elevator moving. It didn't feel like it was moving up or down though. Tilting her head, Anora turned to ask Aqua what was going on but before she could speak the elevator stopped.
" Ok, I know that I said that last one was the last question, but this is the real last question." Aqua said, holding her own list." What kind of situation or scenario do you want to be in." Seeing Anora's confused look, Aqua explained." Like, do you want to be a POW captured by the horny Wildling pony~ Or, a traveler who finds a weak Wildling pony and takes care of her? Here, choose one of the situations from this list. Regal uses an Illusion Projector to make EVERY scenario as real as it can be."
Anora was impressed at the expenses and amount of work put into this, before looking down at the scenario list. It held many scenarios and situations, even one for meeting on the battlefield. Taking a look over of the list, Anora blushed as she picked one. A submissive slave Wildling Pony used as a pet but still holding onto her honor to a degree. Aqua knowingly typed on the screen, pressing a few numbers on it before the door opened. Beyond the elevator looked like a standard living room, complete with the furnishings and even with a view beyond the window. Turning to Aqua, Anora started.
" If you can generate something like this with the Illusion Projector, how do I know that the Wildling itself is real?" she asked, Aqua nodding.
" Well, the illusions our Generator make can't be brought outside the room it was made in. But these ponies can, and probably will try to escape. Still, if you need any proof, ask her." Aqua pointed forward, Anora's gaze returning to the room. She froze, seeing one of the Wildling Ponies currently walking into the room, her feral eyes darting back and forth.
It was a young mare, probably just reaching adulthood. Her mane was a golden color that reminded Anora of straw or flowers, her coat an off color white. Her eyes were a wild yellow shade, currently locked onto her. Twisting the blade with her dagger, she tried to force Regal's sword out of her way, only for it to focus on pushing against her dagger.
The sound of whooshing wind alerted Silver to Regal's second sword coming from behind her. With her wings out of commission, she was forced to duck under his blade and roll to the side. Regaining her footing she faced both blades rising back up and slashing at her. Raising her dagger, Silver began to bat and deflect the sword slashes directed at her. Every time she beat a blade back, the second one took its place, the blades never stopping their frenzied assault.
Rolling to the side, Silver saw the blades continued their assault even then. She was running out of options; she couldn't fly out of this, the guards were now blocking the exit, and Regal was slowly coming closer to her. Wielding her second hidden blade, she began to force the blades away from her before turning and running towards Regal. Smirking, Regal's horn lit up as several small daggers flew from his coat, forming a wall of blades. " Every bit accounted for, and a bit more." Regal spoke, moving towards the alley. Fleur weighed the bag, smirking wildly, before turning to Regal.
" Rumor has it, that you have found something interesting. Something that might.. Interest Lady Rarity." she said, making sure nopony was nearby. Regal kept on walking, a smile on his face.
" Perhaps. But for the right price, we can find many interesting things." Fleur's eyes widened in suprise, before trotting away, smiling.
