It was a stormy night; very depressing for one particular princess pony. She was taking a long walk in the rain; she didn't want to use her wings. Her heart was shattered, torn apart. She lost the biggest part of her heart. Even bigger than when she had lost her BBBFF. She lost her friends, the elements of harmony.
Now that your friends are gone. The elements of harmony have to be found by another group of ponies.
This princess pony had remembered what the high princess had told her. Now that her friends were gone; the 6 elements wouldn't work. She couldn't do it without the others.

Twilight had finally arrived at the grave- site where her friends were buried. Each grave had something that resembled them in some way. Fluttershy had a few butterflies that had died overtime; but they were preserved in a jar. Applejack always had an apple on the stone. Applebloom has always been there to place it. Rarity had some jewels that Sweetie Belle and Spike had put there. Pinkie Pie had streamers, party favors, deflated balloons, and a huge jar of the names of ponies that knew her. Rainbow Dash had her wonderbolts suit that she had worn when she became a wonderbolt. She even had orange feathers in a jar; Surely Scootaloo had placed them there before she had left Ponyville. Spike had a jar filled to the top of melted ice cream; it was his favorite; he also had some jewels. The jar was filled to the top with his favorite jewel, rubies.
Well it was a gift for Moondancer.
We don't have time for this!

Twilight took her hoof and placed it on her eye. In front to Pinkie's grave, she made a Pinkie Promise. Tears started flowing harder than before.
"I promise never forget you all; or your faces."
Then there was a noise off in the distance; Twilight looked. Her heart started racing as the tears of grieve came along.
A few years after the passing of Twilight's friends; her grieving started to lessen. She was able to do her duties as a princess. She looked up into the sky, hoping for some kind of sign. The one Celestia had been talking about. There was no sign yet, until today.
"Look at the sky!" a pony yelled.
Twilight looked into the sky and found a big beam of light streching across Equestria. She had seen beams of lights before; but this one was odd. She saw her friends, like this beam knew them so well. Her friends appeared.
She saw Pinkie Pie;
It's Nightmare Moon RUN!

Did you see those moves?! What an athlete! This week Applejack is going to help me with my new move. And I know it's going to be so awesome!

Then, all of them together.
"The sign." Twilight said to herself.
She flew towards the light, it lead her to the same place where she first met Celestia, face to face. She flew inside and found a small yellow unicorn filly. Her eyes were hazy, she was surrounded by a big clear white ball. Twilight trotted towards the little filly, causing the filly to calm down. The ball disappeared and the little filly's eyes changed back.
"Well Apple Jewel." Twilight said.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to -" Apple Jewel said.
"You have a very special gift. You have so much potential within you. But I need to teach you the right from wrong.. Would you like to be my personal protege?"
As the little filly talked to her parents Applebloom and Ruby. Twilight smiled, she found the right pony to teach. She followed what Celestia had said, "Look for the sign." She felt a connection growing from inside, between her and the young filly.
"Celestia?" Twilight asked.
"Hey Twilight; what are you doing here out in the rain?" Celestia asked.
"I just wanted to see my friends. It hurts me so much that I can't ever see them again. They all died in honor, I don't know what else to do other than be here for them. I can't even feel anything anymore, it hurts too much."
"Can I let you on a little secret?"
"What is it?"
"When I became the actual Princess of Equestria; when Luna started to show signs of becoming Nightmare Moon. I had my best friends by my side since I was a young filly. They were as close to me as your friends were as close to you. Their names were Sculpted Craft, Armored Pearl, Mountain Maze, Knight, Tuckmahala, and Daisy Rose. They had always been there for me, supported me, and had been the best of friends that any pony could ask for. When Luna turned into Nightmare Moon and she was banished to the moon; my best friends were there to help me, I got to see them so much more often. But before you came; we had seen less and less of each other over the years, I found out that Mountain Maze had died. He was the last of my friends to stay alive. Every single one of them had died before Mountain; so I lost them all. I went to the gravesite of each of them and grieved. Then when I first met you and saw Spike beyond the roof; I felt happy. I saw potential in you; that sonic rainboom Rainbow Dash had proved. Applejack finding out who she was supposed to be, Pinkie Pie making smiles, Rarity making sparkly outfits for a play, and Fluttershy learning to fly with her weak wings. I could see it all in that sonic rainboom.And I knew that, this was it, the answer! And in watching you grow up, made me relize, that this is how I grew up. And I wanted the best for you. The reason I told you to find another pony to make the elements, was because that's how I found you. Soon there will be a sign to help you make the right choce."
"How will I know what the sign is?"
"You'll see it inside them, either in their eyes or in the things that they or others make. You'll see it when it's time."
"What were your friends like?"
"Just imagine your friends body's changed. Your earth friends are pegasi, the pegasus ones are unicorns, and Rarity as an earth pony."
"Really?"
"Yes; and they were all the best friends any pony could ask for."
"Wow."
"I have to go. Come to the castle when you feel like coming."
Princess Celestia left the grave site, heading towards the graves of her friends. Twilight sat there and cried at each one. The memories were now nightmares to her.
" I just need to get over the grieving stage."
