"Ok girls this could be a very dangerous cave so stick close" just after saying this Pinkie bounds off to some random part of the cave

"We really should get a move on." Twilight interjects.

After a little bit of walking the grounds starts to shake, A huge roar echoes though out the cave, a stalactite falls above Rainbow Dash, before it hits shes pushed out of the way by none other then Vortex

"Can't let you get done in by falling spikes, that's my job!" Rainbow glare at him and gets ready to jump him.

"Now's not the time, I think we might have a Chimera on our hands" from around the corner a huge lion with the head of a raven and snake growing beside the lion head. "Damn I was hoping it was just rumors" the raven head attacks Applejack, but Vortex jumps in front of it and it strikes an invisible shield and starts to gnaw at it, but then it with a powerful force it's pushed off and then dissipates into thin air. Leaving the Chimera with only a snake and Lion head. a green liquid starts to drip of the snake head, when it hits the ground, the ponies realize that it is an acid,

"Girls! get beside me now!" the five do just as the snake launches a ball of the acid that was built up, the acid bounces off hit the snake head. The Chimera now starts to writhe in pain, Vortex's horn starts to glow a deep black, and a hole to another dimension opens up, and starts to pull the Chimera in. He hooks his massive claws into the ground, but in vain he gets pulled into the gate, then the gate closes. Vortex collapses onto the ground. he wakes up to Fluttershy crying,

"Oh, what wrong now."

"Wh- why did you hav- hav- have to ki- kill it!"

"I didn't I merely sent it to another dimension." granted I had no time to pick the dimension so he could be in one with no oxygen

The ponies continue, the walk pass a metal bared door. suddenly it slams shut. "Ah ha ha ha ha!" Vortex disappears in a black fire and reappear behind the door in of them, "Now that I have all six of you- Wait damnit wheres Pinkie" On cue Pinkie hops up to the door

"Here I am!"

"Agh" the door opens "Get in there!"

"Okie doki loki"

"Whats going on Vortex" Twilight demands. A cutie mark of a vortex appears on the flank.

"Well, as I'm sure you would have figured, I'm the reason for all the happening, it all started years ago, I was... the right hand horn of Celestia, but I wanted more. More... So I staged a coup, or at least tried, turns out I was set up from the start. Celestia unfortunately noticed my want for her power, and set up an... anti-coup, however." Vortex starts to smirk "I'm stronger then her, so the best she could do was to seal my power, but sometime later I found that... well I think you'll just have to see"

"I'm not going to let you do anything!" Twilight's horn starts to glow

"I'd stop that if I were you" A ball of energy forms from Twilight's horn, but then implodes and explodes slamming Twilight into the wall "I warned you, I've already put a stop to your powers, I know your way to powerful, every for being but a kid to me. Now Rainbow dash I think I'll start with you." A power flows though everypony and rainbow is lifted and and teleported to vortex and then dragged off deeper into the cave.

"What is going on here, what..." Vortex comes back alone with a single light blue wing.

"Rainbow, No don't tell me you-"

"That's right I absorbed her energy, her power now runs though me!"

"Next will be lets see, oh I know I'll make Twilight pick! oh that's will be fun!"

"What!" the five ponies gasp in unison

"Now Twilight the first one that comes to mind please..." Vortex cocks his head and smiles mockingly.

"But how do I chose! there all my friends I cant pick one of them to die."

"Oh no they don't die, they just become part of me. however they will start to fade after time. Yet that's no matter!"

"Twi pick me"

"What no Applejack I cant." Applejack walks up to the door.

"Twi picks me"

"I did not pi-"

"Sush Sugercube just find a way to stop him."

"Unlikely. Well that's no fun picking for her. Whatever it will all end the same" Applejack is then dragged away. Vortex comes back with a cowboy hat on, and now has a black front mane. Twilight is hunched over crying in a corner along with the other four. "Well it seems your in no condition to pick so, eeny meeny miny Fluttershy," one again the pony is taken to the back.

*Sniff*"Girls I have a plan, we will all hide near the door when he comes in to check were we are will jump him."

this Time Vortex comes back with a yellow wing, then both the wings turn back to black. Vortex looked around and sees none of them They do know I can feel there energy, it's just too bad I can't pin point it yet. Then I could take them straight from there hiding spots, I guess I got to go in Vortex opens the door and walks in.

"now girls" Rarity and Twilight come from the sides,

"One, Two... wait wheres the other one" Pinkie drops on him like a rock, making him fall Above, didn't expect that. Vortex coughs up a little blood.

"DAMN!" Vortex blows Rarity and Twilight to the side and drags Pinkie back.

"Wait no Pinkie!" Vortex comes back with a black puffed up mane, and the girls can't help but laugh.

"Sh- shut up, This is not the time to be laughing, I'm done with this!" He takes Rarity and takes her back. When he comes back the door is broke down and Twilight is standing there with a fiery look in her eye.

"Vortex give me back my friends!"

"Well although I'm not sure it would be possible, you can try as hard as you like! But there nothing you cant do with other your friends, your worthless with out your friends. Even with your friends you were nothing that grand! So come at me with all your might" Vortex spreads his new wings now the size of Twilight herself.
