The Envoy of Chaos

"There's no way I'm letting it end like this!" Twilight charges a bolt and fires directly at Vortex but it reflects of an invisible wall and hits the ceiling, causing a slew of stalactites to fall covering Vortex from view "Damn where did he go!"

"Over here." calls a voice from behind, quickly Twilight looses another bolt "Because that worked... so well last time." once again the blot reflects this time hitting the floor, puffing up smoke. Alas once more Vortex was hidden in smoke. From every direction Twilight hears laughter "I could just kill you now you know, but this is so much fun."

"Show your self!" Vortex appears right in front of Twilight almost touching nose to nose.

"Boo!" Twilight jumps back several feet, staggers on a rock and trips. "Well now, back to business, any last requests, no... never mind I don't care, I'm not going to honor them anyway." Vortex starts to chant as three black lights begin to swirl around Twilight. One of them hits Twilight knocking her to the ground, another one goes for her.

"No!" a barrier forms around Twilight reflecting the orb at Vortex

"What?" it hits, Vortex falls on a knee "How, how did you do that? That's impossible! Ugh no matter, that was just for show, and to stop resistance, oh and numb the pain. It seems now where going to have to do this the painful way." A darkness starts to envelop Twilight as she can feel the energy being suck from her body "ha ah ah, now I've won and there's nothing you can do with out your friends."

"No..." I- I'm sorry everypony I failed you all... No! No we've been though to much to let it end here, all the good times, for once in my life I had some friends, and I'm not going to let some power hungry pony take that away Twilight starts to glow a burst of light is loosed it starts to pulse out ward growing every time. It covers Vortex and five lights start to spin around him, A pink one, white, sky blue, yellow, and orange.

"What are these damned things" Twilight gets up now unaffected by Vortex's magic "What, no that's impossible"

"I- I get it, you may have absorbed my friends energy, but not there soul. Your body's now like oil waiting to go, now I just need to give it a spark."

"What? What are you talk-" Twilight's horn glows and the lights fall on Vortex when they hit a bright light is cast "Agh~!" When the light falls back, the five pony lay on the ground unconscious, and Vortex is nowhere to be found.

"Thank Celestia it's over" *Yawn* "I'm so tired"

"H- ha don't... you go thinking.. ah..... it's over. Huh, she fell asleep... that will just make it all the more fun if she does not know. Remember now, I'm immortal."
