Snips and Snails’ mother drove Sunset Shimmer to Twilight Sparkle’s apartment.
Sunset then rang the doorbell, and Rarity answered it. “Sunset, please come in.” she said.
Sunset politely walked into the house and went into the living room.
Then, Twilight Sparkle walked into the room. “Pinkie, you know that there are only four controllers.” “Maybe we can take turns!” Rainbow Dash suggested.
“I think we should do something together. Sunset, do you have any ideas?” Twilight then asked.
They finished the movie 2 hours later, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The movie was about a couple that stumbled upon a castle inhabited by demons and they witnessed the demon princess who lived there creating a demon who fell in love with the female lead character. The girls then had snacks, played on the LuckyS, and played Truth or Dare.
Before going to bed, Sunset looked upset. “Are you all right, sugarcube?” asked Applejack.
“It’s just that…I really miss my foster mother.”
“I feel sorry for you, because I know how you feel. My parents often go on business trips and I feel lonely when they are away.” said Twilight. After this, the girls went to bed.
In the middle of the night, Sunset woke up in her sleeping bag and tried to go back to sleep, but felt as something was preventing her from sleeping. Diamond, the orange cat fairy creature that gave her Magical Warrior powers, noticed that someone was covering Sunset’s mouth. She also noticed that Sunset Shimmer’s hands were behind her back, surrounded by a greenish glow. “Sunset…I think that Sunset Demon is here!” Diamond yelled.
Then, she saw Sunset Demon’s green eyes glow in the dark. “It would be a smart choice to keep silent…” the mysterious but familiar voice said.
The girls then saw an outline of Sunset Demon’s body and became shocked because of the demon’s appearance. Sunset Demon then got her hand off Sunset Shimmer’s mouth and the greenish glow that handcuffed Sunset Shimmer disappeared.
“You really upset me, Ms. Demon! You don’t want to become a Magical Warrior anymore, and now you’re planning to partner up with the Demon King to destroy the human world?” Sunset worriedly asked.
“I like being a Magical Warrior. Just because you snapped back to your former self doesn’t mean you can get angered at me! I can help you change!” Sunset Shimmer told the demon.
“I felt really stupid in that costume. It made me look like I was going to be a princess at some pathetic baby’s birthday party or some crap like that! And my attacks were stupid, and I felt like I was hurting the feelings of my servants. I’d never hurt them or their Emotion Demons! I shouldn’t have listened to you when you were trying to get me to become nicer! I should’ve let you die!”
Sunset Shimmer and Diamond were shocked at what the demon told them. “How dare you say that about me?” Sunset Shimmer replied. “You will not kill-“
Sunset Shimmer then stopped what she was saying when she noticed that Sunset Demon was closing her eyes and opened them to hypnotize Sunset Shimmer’s friends, making them wake up with lime green eyes and moan. Sunset Demon looked happy about what she had done.
“See what happened, Sunset?” asked Sunset Demon, “This is what happens when you anger me so much when you keep saying that you’ll always stay a Magical Warrior and go against me!”
“Sunset will stay a Magical Warrior as long as she feels like it!” explained Diamond. Sunset Demon then looked curiously at the girls and smiled.
“Spoiler alert. I was bluffing when I said I hated the fact that you would stay as a Magical Warrior. I need your help. I have discovered something that will give you new magical powers. Come to the portal and I will show you your future as a Magical Warrior.” Sunset Demon told Sunset Shimmer and Diamond.
“Thank goodness that you went back to normal! But I’d rather stay here…” Sunset Shimmer told the demon. However, the demon was very upset when she heard that Sunset would rather stay.
“What? You don’t ever refuse any offers I make!” Sunset Demon snapped. “But if you are really not going to come with me, then this will happen!” The mind-controlled Twilight grabbed Sunset Shimmer’s right arm and began to twist it, and Sunset Shimmer was in so much pain.
“Fine. Just let my friends go.” she commanded. Sunset Demon then snapped her fingers and Sunset Shimmer’s friends went back to normal and fell asleep.
“Let’s go!” Sunset Demon told Sunset Shimmer. Sunset Demon then used her magic on Sunset Shimmer to make her gain demon wings, and the two girls then flew in the nighttime sky to Canterlot High and landed in front of the portal. Sunset Demon then pointed to the portal that was inside the statue in front of the school.
“I want you to look inside the portal. You will see your future…” she told Sunset. Sunset tried to look in the portal.
“I don’t see anything!” Sunset exclaimed.
At this point, Sunset Demon created a black hole-like portal underneath Sunset Shimmer. “News flash, Sunset; I had to drag you out here so I could dispose of you so that I could take over the human world with the Demon King without you trying to screw it up. Don’t even try to call for help; you are alone and in the dark…now, on with the show!” she told Sunset Shimmer.
“No! You can’t do this to me! I’ll promise to come back for you! I’ll teach you how to not mess around with me!” Sunset Shimmer screamed. She was sucked into the portal and disappeared.
Sunset Demon laughed and then closed her eyes and put her hands to her head again. This time, it hypnotized every single person in the Canterlot High area. Eventually, the hypnotized humans came to Sunset Demon. “Hello there! I am Sunset Shimmer!” Sunset Demon lied so that she could get the hypnotized humans’ attention. “I was thinking about taking over the human world, and my wish came true! I am your princess now! And we shall destroy the human world together!” Then, Sunset Demon evilly laughed as she led her army to the demon world.

The Shimmering Hero of Canterlot High: Night of the Demons
Sunset Shimmer woke up in front of a destroyed Canterlot High, which looked exactly like it did the night she became a demon. No one was there, and it was quiet. Next to where she landed was a crater. She walked over to it, and she saw 6 dead bodies that looked like Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack, wearing their Fall Formal dresses. “Oh no…I’m sorry that I couldn’t save you!” Sunset cried, thinking that she may have caused their deaths. Just then, someone who looked like the demon version of Snails came up.
“Nice to see you, Snails Demon! How did you end up here?”
The demon version of Snails was shocked. “How did you know my name was Snails?”
Sunset Shimmer went inside the destroyed Canterlot High, and went inside a classroom. She recognized this room because it was where she had several of her subjects. Inside the room, there was a demon who looked like Snips’ demon form, a girl with purple and pink hair about Sunset Shimmer’s age who wore a scarf, and a young girl who looked like a younger version of Sunset Shimmer. They were drinking Demoji juice and listening to a song by Sunset Demon, which Sunset Shimmer recognized as “Demon Princess Rock”, however, some of the lyrics were slightly altered to talk about how Sunset Demon took over Equestria:
“One night I met this teenager named Sunset Shimmer
Brainwashing humans
“Hello, everyone! My name is Sunset Shimmer, and I come from Canterlot City. I am new here to the Demon Kingdom, so maybe you can show me around!”
“Hey Snails, why did you bring a Pariah in here?” asked the demon version of Snips.
“A Pariah. That’s a person who’s potentially dangerous to Sunset Demon, the demon princess, because she is an ordinary human. The only humans that should exist are the Loyal Servants, the ones who wished to become human in exchange for becoming a servant to Sunset Demon.” Snips said, pointing to the two humans in the room.
“Snips, let's get rid of this Pariah!” the purple and pink haired girl said, holding something that looked like the Demon Spear, the legendary object used by the Demon Princess' servants in the Demon Princess legend.
“What did you do wrong, Mystery Mint? Did Sunrise throw the New Demon Spear down the stairs?” Snips Demon angrily asked.
Just then, two objects that resembled cell phones beeped. “Snips, Snails! I sense a Despair Creature! This Despair Creature is called Ethel, and she’s the Road Warrior Creature. Her Despair Dimension can be very dangerous, so be careful, boys!”
“Sunset, would you like to come to see us fight a Despair Creature?” asked Snips.
The demons then pressed the “teleport" button on the devices they had. Then, a flash of light surrounded everyone in the room and took them to the Despair Dimension.

Keep on Truckin' (When You Battle)
Sunset Shimmer and her new friends went to the Despair Dimension of Ethel, the Road Warrior Creature. “You know how I said I could help you? Well, here’s how I can help you!” Sunset said, while holding out her Shimmering Mirror, a small compact-like device. She opened it up, and yelled “Shimmering Mirror, shine brightly!” Then, she used the pen inside to press all the buttons inside the compact, which were in the formation of the letter S. This transformed her into Shimmering Love.
As Shimmering Love, Sunset’s yellow and red hair became longer, became a dandelion-like yellow and had rose pink streaks, and it was formed into a ponytail. A light pink bow with a rose pink diamond-shaped emblem in the middle completed her hairstyle. Her eyes became a pine-tree green. The top of Sunset's dress was light pink with yellow diamond emblems on it and it had a ribbon tied to her torso, which kept the Shimmering Mirror safe. She also had puffy sleeves. In the middle of the top piece of the dress was a yellow diamond emblem with wings on its’ sides, almost resembling the wings of Sunset’s cat fairy, Diamond. The bottom of her dress was a yellow skirt with three pink diamond emblems on it. Her boots were rose pink with yellow tops that had rose pink diamond emblems on them.
“The miraculous light that shines bright, Shimmering Love!” Shimmering Love said.
“I wish to summon the Shimmering Baton!” A light pink wand with a yellow diamond on top of it appeared in Shimmering Love’s hands. She then spun the wand around in circles, while saying “Shimmering Roulette, choose the magic that can save my new friends!” The attack Shimmering Roulette could find a solution to any problem Shimmering Love had. In this instance, the magic summoned by the Shimmering Roulette attack made the truck coming towards Snips and Snails stop.
After safely crossing the road, everyone went to the main part of the Despair Dimension where Ethel, the Road Warrior Creature was. Ethel looked like a country girl who looked identical to Sunset’s friend Applejack.
More trucks speeded past everyone, but this time, it was difficult to defeat them, and Shimmering Love almost got killed by one of the trucks when it hit her.
Everyone except for Sunset started to recite the beginning of the spell:
“But who has the crown now?” Snips Demon and Snails Demon said.
Then, Mystery Mint started reciting the next part of the chant:
Snips went next. “I don’t have the crown.
After that, Snails had his turn:
Shimmering Love went next, but was very panicked, afraid she might screw it up.
Finally, Sunrise Shine went.
Unfortunately, Sunrise Shine, the girl that looked like a younger Sunset Shimmer, messed up the spell a bit. If you randomly picked an object that didn’t have all the characteristics everyone else described for his or her own objects, the spell was likely to fail, that is, if you didn’t end it properly, which is what everyone did.
“Bird, Diamond, teddy bear, cotton candy
A big fireball was thrown towards the trucks and Ethel, creating a big explosion that rocked through the Despair Dimension. Thanks to the spell, Snips, Snails, and Shimmering Love successfully killed Ethel and destroyed her Despair Dimension for good.
A few hours later in the original universe’s Demon Kingdom, Sunset Demon was turning the last of the humans into demons so they can destroy the human world.

The next morning, Sunset Shimmer and her new friends woke up. “I hope that Sunset Demon is nice to me…”
“My name is Sunset Shimmer, and I just came in here from another world which is just like yours, except that you don’t rule both the human world and Equestria. I actually liked living in the world I came from, until the Sunset Demon from my world sent me here. This world has been ruined due to your stupid thoughts and ideas about how demons should be the superior race, but at least I have good friends…”
At this point, Sunset Demon got extremely mad and pulled out a pink electric guitar. She then played a death metal song.
“YOU’RE DONE! NOT A DEMON! NOT A DEMON!
“Go kill her! Go kill her!” the demonic army said over and over, as Sunset Demon finished her song.
“Why isn’t anything working?” Sunset Demon asked.
Then, the demonic army started attacking Sunset Shimmer, and she decided to transform into Shimmering Love. She attacked some of the demons in the demonic army using her magic, knocking them out. Just when she thought she was done, Shimmering Love noticed a demon that was about to throw a fireball at her.
“How about you play with fire, you weakling?” Shimmering Love then thought of an attack she could use to stop this demon from defeating her.
“No! My precious army! You defeated them, and they were my only defense against pathetic Pariahs like you!” Sunset Demon cried.
Sunset Demon looked irritated by what the girls said. “DAMN YOU ALL FOR THINKING FRIENDSHIP IS WONDERFUL! YOU ALL SHOULD DIE!” Sunset Demon yelled as she threw a powerful fireball at the girls. However, Diamond flew over to Sunset Shimmer, Mystery Mint, and Sunrise Shine.
“Hold on! I’m going to save you!” she said. The girls then wound up teleporting back to the original universe Sunset Shimmer came from. Thinking that the girls died due to their disappearance, Sunset Demon began to laugh, and demanded Snips Demon and Snails Demon to use their magic to revive the demonic army.
Back in the original universe, Sunset Demon and the Demon King were about to fly to the town closest to Canterlot City, when they noticed that a black hole was opening up in front of the statue in front of the school.
“No! It can’t be! I thought I got rid of Sunset Shimmer! Everyone! Prepare to shoot at the black hole so I can proceed with my plans!” Sunset Demon said.

Shimmering Love, Diamond, Mystery Mint, and Sunrise Shine stepped out of the black hole, and fireballs being thrown at them by the demonic army were about to hit them, and Shimmering Love successfully avoided them by using Shimmering Whirlwind. Sunset Demon and the Demon King looked more angered than they were when they discovered the black hole. “I KNEW IT! THAT IDIOT CAME BACK WHEN I TOLD HER NOT TO!” Sunset Demon snapped.
“Oh, so you want me to like you again? Well, I WON’T EVER PREFER TO JOIN YOUR MAGICAL WARRIOR TEAM!” Sunset Demon screeched. “Now, go away, or you will suffer the consequences. I don’t like you!”
“Great job on getting rid of that girl!” said the Demon King. “Now, we shall start taking over the human world for the Demon Kingdom.”
Shimmering Love then walked away. “I can’t believe that someone who was my friend for a few months didn’t want to see me anymore. She cared about me very much, and gave me solutions to problems I had. As a Magical Warrior, she always saved me from danger. I wanted to remind Sunset Demon of the great times we shared together in the human world, and I want her to think that humans aren’t dangerous.”
“I think that might be difficult, Sunset, I mean, Shimmering Love. She’s nearly gotten as mad as the Sunset Demon from our universe. It’d be difficult to change her emotions now, so I’d be careful if I were you.” Mystery Mint said.
An hour later, Shimmering Love and her friends found Sunset Demon and the Demon King terrorizing the nearest town. The demonic army was destroying the town, and Sunset Demon hypnotized the townspeople in order to turn them into demons like she did with all the citizens of Canterlot City. “Ms. Demon, I’m back!” Shimmering Love called out.
“I told you to STAY OUT! You should learn to listen to me.”
“Okay…it’s STAR TIME! Your Majesty, try to steal the magic from Shimmering Love!” Sunset Demon told the Demon King.
“Sunset Shimmer, please listen to me! You’ve offended me a lot tonight, and I told you to not come back to disturb me, but what do you do? You came back to try to tell me how great friendship is! As punishment, you will be sent to the prison in the Demon Kingdom FOREVER!” Sunset Demon said, laughing evilly.
Sunset Shimmer woke up with a mouth gag on her mouth. She noticed that not only the dark magic that trapped her was gone, but also that she was transported to an empty and dark prison-like place in the Demon Kingdom. All Sunset Shimmer could hear was the evil laughter of Sunset Demon. “Did you enjoy your nap, you pathetic human?” she asked Sunset Shimmer.
“There is something we can do to stop you!” a familiar voice called out; it was Diamond! She then took off the mouth gag that Sunset Shimmer wore, which made Sunset Demon really mad. Sunset Shimmer then walked up to Sunset Demon to talk to her.
Meanwhile in the human world, this point, the demonic army turned back into humans with no memory of what just happened to them. “What happened?” the Demon King asked. “Why did those demons turn back into humans? I think Sunset Shimmer is trying to get my partner in crime to be her friend, and that’s what caused the demons to turn back into humans. I really hate Sunset Shimmer!” the Demon King said furiously.
“You always told me that you would find a way to turn Snips Demon and Snails Demon good again, and you even promised that the both of us would fight the Demon King together. I wish you would become my friend again so we can defeat the Demon King in order to save the human world, the Demon Kingdom, and the Sunny Dimension.” Sunset Shimmer said as Sunset Demon returned back to her normal self.
“Fire Compact, heat up!” Sunset Demon said, transforming into her Magical Warrior form, Fire Beauty. As Fire Beauty, Sunset Demon’s hair was longer and formed into a short ponytail, she had an orange dress with a brooch that had a dark pink heart gem in the center of a rose red ribbon was on her chest, rose red sleeves, hearts in the middle of the dress, and rose red boots with orange tops that had rose red hearts on them. “The demon with a heart that burns bright, Fire Beauty!” After the two girls finished transforming into their Magical Warrior forms, Fire Beauty used her magic to teleport Shimmering Love and herself to where the Demon King was now.
The girls then arrived in front of the Demon King’s castle. “Look, Your Majesty, Sunset Shimmer really turned your former partner in crime into a good person again!” said Snails Demon.

The two girls were transformed by the Demon King’s dark magic into Dark Magical Warriors. Sunrise Shine became Sunset Shimmer’s age when she transformed, and she wore a black and dark red dress with matching boots that looked like Sunset Demon’s dress and blonde and black hair that looked like Sunset Demon’s hair. Mystery Mint’s hair didn’t change, but her eyes became red, and she wore a black and dark purple dress with boots.
“An evil girl bringing darkness to the world with demonic magic, Shining Silver!” Shining Silver, Sunrise Shine’s new form said.
The real Magical Warriors fought the Dark Magical Warriors, who used dark versions of the attacks Shimmering Love and Fire Beauty used. The battle lasted for what seemed like forever, but after 5 minutes, Shimmering Love and Fire Beauty were nearly exhausted. “It seems like you surrendered to us and we won! That means the Demon King might use us as his assistants when he takes over the human world!” Black Mystery said.
“We have a great leader here. Everyone must obey him and be loyal to him.” Fire Beauty lied, sounding as if she was actually obeying the Demon King once again. “However, two idiots may appear and try to ruin his plans. This may cause the demons of the Demon World to worry about The End of Days due to the fact that those two idiots saved the human world, and you know what? I’m happy about that!” Snips Demon, Snails Demon, and the Demon King looked disgusted, because after she made the “two idiots" statement, they knew she was joking about how she liked the Demon King again, and was instead talking about how she would defeat him.
“I’m sorry. You’re acting like a complete idiot and ruined the good news of MY takeover.” The Demon King said. “We’re going to the human world, so you better hurry up to the portal I created and get inside the portal right now.”
“Wow, you really do care for Sunset Shimmer!” said Snails Demon sarcastically.
“They never liked me, because they were planning on ruining my plans! A decision had to be made. We will be leaving for the human world now and you will stay here for the rest of your life…or Snips and Snails can kill you like they did to those Magical Warriors.” the Demon King explained. But just then, Diamond and the Demon King saw a glowing light.
“Who says that we weren’t alive? The hope and bravery we gained as Magical Warriors was able to protect us and not let us suffer a fate like the Demon Princess!” explained a voice that sounded like Shimmering Love.
Not only did the Magical Warriors survive, they changed into more powerful forms: Shimmering Love wore a light pink dress with a skirt that had light pink and light yellow stripes, similar to Sunset Demon’s normal dress. Her hair looked like her human form, except she had a longer ponytail. She also had light yellow shoes with light pink diamond emblems on them, a crown with a hot pink diamond emblem in the center of it, and angel wings. Fire Beauty’s outfit had a red coat over a light orange dress with five heart emblems on it. Her fiery hair and tail also became longer in this form. “We will defeat you once and for all, Demon King! We have gained enough power to do so!” shouted Fire Beauty.
A giant light pink heart appeared in front of the girls as soon as they held hands together. “Our magical mission is almost completed, my best friend, and soon, we will be able to bring a bright tomorrow to the human world, the Demon World, and the Sunny Dimension!” Shimmering Love said.
The girls then saw that the demonic Snips and Snails were staring at them happily. “Thanks for restoring everything back to normal, you two! I was thinking that Sunset Demon, also known as Fire Beauty, should be the new Demon Princess.” Fire Beauty then said, “It would be a pleasure to be a Demon Princess, just as long as you don’t try to hurt me with that Demon Spear.” Then, the demonic Snips and Snails laughed.
“What will happen to Sunrise Shine and I?” Mystery Mint asked.
“Everyone, I’m going to leave now. I know that we’ve only spent a few months together, but please remember me!” Shimmering Love said. Just then, Snails Demon came up to Shimmering Love.
Sunset Shimmer was teleported back to Twilight Sparkle’s apartment in her normal outfit. She knocked on the door, and Twilight Sparkle answered it.
Sunset Shimmer and Diamond were shocked. “How did you know that?” Sunset asked.
After the girls had breakfast, Sunset Shimmer went home. When she was dropped off at her house, someone opened the door. It was none other than Snails Demon.
“Sunset Shimmer…I have bad news. Since you and Sunset Demon completed your task to rescue those three worlds, you two no longer have to be Magical Warriors.” Then, the transformation trinkets the girls used to transform into Magic Warriors de-activated. “Farewell, Sunset Shimmer!” Diamond said, leaving for her home in the Sunny Dimension. Sunset Shimmer was sad that Diamond left and that she lost her Magical Warrior powers, but she knew that she would still be Sunset Demon’s friend as long as their lives lasted.

When the Demon King misspells who is coming with him to the human world, I did that on purpose, in reference to how Riff-Raff accidentally pronounced Magenta as "Magenter" in The Rocky Horror Picture Show during the scene where Riff-Raff is going to kill Frank N Furter.
