POV: Diamond Tiara

***

Why did she have to die!? She was such a good filly! Please Celestia, bring her back! She was my only friend. I can’t do this. I just need someone to talk to. I just sit under the big oak tree by my house, crying to myself.

“Hey Diamond!” Calls a high pitched voice. I turn to find Sweetie Belle. Her mane is a complete mess, and she has bloodshot eyes. I don’t answer. I just continue to cry.

“Listen, I am sorry to what happened to Silver. If it makes you feel any better, I have been crying too.” Honestly, it made me feel a bit better. She sits down beside me and puts a hoof around me. I don’t care who it was. I just need someone to help me through this. I nuzzle her and quietly sobbed into her coat. She rubs my mane over and over, saying kind words for comfort. It didn’t help at all.

“Come to the clubhouse, we all feel really sorry for you. It actually managed to get Scootaloo to cry,” she says. I could see a tear run down her cheek. I nod in reply. She nuzzled me the whole way there. It felt good to know she actually cared about me after I had been so horrible to her. I really hope we can be friends. We reach the clubhouse. It feels so welcoming, but it looks different; there are lots of decorations and a sign that says “keep out.” I also don’t remember there being a lock on the door. I guess it doesn’t matter; she's being far more than generous. I cried for a while more, and she kept rubbing my back and mane saying it will all be okay. I calmed down a bit, I’m still sobbing, but I can at least talk now.

“Sweetie, I just want to see her again, tell her how much I love her,” I say. At this point I’m staring outside of the window, staring at nothing in particular. I just gaze upon the beautiful landscape, watching the sun set.

“Don’t worry, you’ll see her very soon.” Her voice was low and dark. I spun around to confront her.

“What is that supposed to mean!?” My eyes widened, her eye twitched and she had an insane smile on her face.

“W-why do you have a knife?” I asked shakily.

3rd Person:

The other two crusaders walked down the dirt path they had come down so many times. No cheerful talk of plans to get their cutie marks, no stupid stunts, just sadness and occasionally anger.

“Ah feel really bad fer her. How could somepony kill a foal?” Apple Bloom asked sadly.

“I don’t know,” Scootaloo sighed. “How do you think Sweetie’s holdin’ up? She’s really sensitive.”

“Well, Ah think we should check on her. Who cares bout’ that silly clubhouse? Are friend needs us.” Apple Bloom said heroically. Scootaloo nodded in response. They both turned around, their destination: the carousel boutique.

Ahhhhhhhhh! Somepony help me!” The two stopped in their tracks, turned around and galloped in the direction of the scream.

POV: Sweetie Belle

“Nononono! Please I’m sorry for bullying you! Just don’t hurt me!”

“It’s a little late to beg for forgiveness, you spoiled brat. Now you're going to end up like your friend Spoon! Ahahahaha” -twitch - “Hahahahaha!” I trot over to her and slap her into the ground. I was going to make this kill last. Hehehe! This is so much fun! I stab her hind leg, the knife going through like butter. Hehehe, butter.

Ahhhhhhhhh! Somepony help me!” I stab her again and again and again! Hahahaha! Now just one final slice to the throat and then… Who the hay is interrupting my super happy fun time!? Somepony’s hooves pulling me away from my kill! I can’t have that happen! Hehehe! I spin around quickly, slicing an orange filly in the throat. Okay, now where wa- Scootaloo!? Nonononono! I stare down at my friend, a large gash going straight across her throat.

3rd Person:

“The door is bucking locked! Since when did we get a lock!?” Scootaloo yelled, the screams of agony growing louder from inside the clubhouse. Apple Bloom pushed Scootaloo out of the way and didn’t hesitate to buck the door off it’s hinges. Her mouth went agape from what she saw. Sweetie Belle was repeatedly stabbing into the chest of Diamond Tiara.

Ahahahaha! Take this! And that! And one right here!” Sweetie squealed in delight, a huge smile plastered on her blood covered face. Each stab splattering blood all over the clubhouse. Scootaloo charged with a determined expression on her face, her jaw went agape when she saw the scene before her. Unlike Apple Bloom, she regained her senses and hastily went to help her nemesis. She grabbed Sweetie by the waist and pulled her away from her victim. Sweetie Belle growled and swung the knife blindly behind her. More blood splattered around the clubhouse, but it wasn’t Diamond Tiara’s blood.

The orange pegasus went wide-eyed as she grasped her throat. She fell to her knees, holding tightly around the gash adorning her neck. She gasped for air several times, but none was traveling into her lungs. She fell on her back, still gripping onto the wound. Sweetie turned back to her original victim. Before she could continue, she took a double take at the other pony. Her eyes widened in shock, tears already flowing. Sweetie dropped the knife and crawled over to Scootaloo as fast as she could.

“Oh no! Nononononono! Don’t die, Scoots! Please! I’m sorry!” Sweetie put a hoof behind the other filly’s head and lifted it slightly. Her other hoof went over the wound to try to stop the bleeding. Scootaloo couldn’t reply, she just continued to gasp for air as she held onto Sweetie in a soft embrace. The life was fading from the small pegasus. Apple Bloom could be seen bawling her eyes out in the corner of the clubhouse, trying to block the brutal image from her mind.

Scootaloo clenched her eyes tight, tears flowing from the cracks. She gasped one last time before her eyes drifted towards the ceiling. Her body went cold as Sweetie held the pegasus. Blood was still flowing freely from the cut in her throat. Sweetie sobbed into Scootaloo’s blood-soaked chest. She put a hoof over Scootaloo’s dead, purple eyes and closed them. She sobbed again before turning around to scan the room. Diamond Tiara was dead in a bath of her own blood, and Apple Bloom was still crying in the corner of the clubhouse. Sweetie glanced at the bloody knife on the ground. She sobbed again as she picked up the knife. Sweetie flipped it around to face her. She lifted it high in the air, the tip pointing towards herself.

Apple Bloom caught a glimpse of what Sweetie was doing and called to her. “No! Sweetie don’t do i–”

-Swish-

The knife stabbed into Sweetie’s chest, creating a loud ripping sound on impact. Sweetie gasped as the knife penetrated her body. It was the most painful thing she had ever experienced. The cold steel burned her insides, as well as effectively knocking the wind out of her. She fell to the hard, wooden ground of the clubhouse. She cringed in pain as her vision started to fade. Sweetie could hear the panicked shouts of Apple Bloom, but she couldn’t make out the words. She closed her eyes and never opened them again. All she was left with was darkness.
