The Human That Was a Pony

Cal woke up the next morning happy from the thoughts of the night before. He knew he had to finish meeting everypony that Twilight wanted him to see but all he wanted to do was go over to Vinyl’s house and cuddle and talk with her. He went to the kitchen and saw Twilight making some food for herself, “Morning Twilight” he said. All she did was look at him smiling. He knew by how she was looking at him she knew something.

“So how was your night?” she asked still smiling that knowing smile.

“Uh, good” he said wondering what she meant by that.

“So meet anypony special while you were there?” her smile grew and I knew what she meant by that question.

“How fast does news travel in this world? Seriously” he said groaning ready for being interrogated or teased by her for what had transpired the night in question.

“Well I could have never anticipated this. So are you staying or not?” she said eager for the answer to the question.

“Well I’m staying for as long as possible. I thought about it on the way home and decided to stay” he said. Twilight immediately was ecstatic by the answer she was given, “Is it possible for me to get turned into one of you” he asked almost casually. Twilight stopped in her tracks and just looked at him bewildered.

“Uhh… well I think so but why?” she managed to say after a few minutes of awkward silence.

“Well I also thought about how my life would be affected if I stayed human and lived here and I also decided to be one of you” he said giving a clear and almost reasonable answer.

“Ok I’ll see what I can do” Twilight said as she pulled some books off the shelf.

“Cool and wait until I tell Vinyl about this, I want her opinion” he said heading for the door.

“Oh so that’s who it is” she said looking back at him.

“Huh, I thought you knew?” he said opening the door and leaving.

“No all I knew was that you met somepony and you fell in love with her” she says her smiling ever more growing.

Cal soon blushed realizing that he just gave away his pony lovers name, “Ya well see you later” he says desperate to get out of the situation.

“Bye Cal” Twilight says as he shuts the door behind him.

He soon is wondering around town. He sees Octavia walking around and he realizes that he wasn’t exactly properly introduced, “Hey. Octavia how are you?” he asks running over to the gray mane pony.

“Hello Cal, I’m doing fine I’ve heard about that special somepony” she said smiling at him.

“How has everyone heard about that already?” he says agitated at the news.

“It was in the news don’t exactly know how they got the information but either way who is it” she says intently waiting an answer.

“Well its Vinyl, but don’t go telling everypony I can’t imagine what the press would do if they heard about it” he says giving her a look that makes her back down from telling everypony she knows, “ I was just about to go and ask what she would think if I was to be a pony like you” she only manages to stare at him with disbelieve of what she just heard.

“Ar… are you sure? I mean that’s a big decision, and you’ve only been here for three days” she says not able to turn her gaze away from him.

“I thought about it when I was at the club and on the way home yesterday and I came to a decision of doing it, unless of course Vinyl doesn’t want me to” he said while she continued to stare at him. She finally managed to fix her gaze.

“Ok so... well see you later… I guess” she said trotting away.

“Ya see you later” he says continuing in the direction to Vinyl’s house. He finally makes it to Vinyl’s house after being hounded by a few reporters, but he makes it without them seeing him. He knocks on the door and she comes to the door, “Hey Vin…” he is pulled into the house before he can even finish the sentence.

“Where you seen? Did you tell them? Do you still love me?” she asks in a swift manor.

“No, no, and yes” he says seeing her wash over with relieve, “now I have a question to ask you.” he says Vinyl looking up in wonderment of what the question is, “Well… I thought about it and how would you like me as one of you?” he asks Vinyl staring in bewilderment at the question.

“Uh... what do you mean by that?” she says still shocked at the question.

“I mean I talked to Twilight and she said that I she could turn me into one of you. But I want your approval first” he said staring into her soul through her eyes.

She only managed to stare. Barely able to grasp what he said. She only met him yesterday fell in love with him and now he was asking her permission for something he should decide on his own, “Why do you want me to say” she finally managed to say.

“Well since you’re the one that’s going to live with me being either a pony or a human I wanted to know which you’d rather me be” he said awaiting her answer.

She still didn’t know what to say but she thought about it for what seemed like hours. She finally found the words that where stuck, “I… I want you to choose what you think is best” she said smiling, “I will love you no matter what you are, but you being a pony might bring benefits in bed” they laugh at the comment.

“So I think I’ll be a pony, a lot less press and attention” he says, “but let’s have a little fun while I’m still human shall we?” he asks giving her flirtatious eyes.

“Let’s shall” she says leading him to the bedroom door. For the rest of the day all they did was have sex. No one saw them for the rest of the day and he stayed there through the night as well.

The next day arrived and Cal finally immerged from the house looking like a mess. They already said their goodbyes and wanted to rest. They never took a break the house looked like a miniature tornado found its way inside the house. He had somehow made it back to Twilight’s place without anyone noticing him. If he was spotted looking like this he would certainly be hounded by the press. He closed the door silently so not to wake Twilight, but she was awake and deep in a book.

“Morning Cal haven’t seen you since yesterday, I can see you certainly had fun” she said studying his messy appearance.

“Ya well have you discovered how to turn me into a pony” he asks getting right to the point.

“Well yes it took me awhile but I found a book that would help me cast the spell” she said, “whenever you’re ready I’ll cast the spell”

“Ok well let me get myself cleaned up and could you send a letter to Vinyl and bring her here I want her to see it happen” he says as he is walking to the bathroom for a shower.

“Oh I went and got your clothes from Rarity and there in the bathroom for you” she said as he shut the door.

Once he closed the door he looked into the mirror and was shocked at what he saw. He was a mess and in fact was dirty. He turned on the shower head and undressed and stepped inside. He was only thinking of what his new life would bring, what he would look like, and would Vinyl still love him. Once he was done he thought about one more thing would he already have his cutie mark or would he have to realize it like everypony else had in this world. He quickly got dressed excited and nerves to find the answers to all his questions. He stepped out to see Vinyl sitting on the couch clean and well-kept she must have taken a shower before she came.

“So well this is happening sooner than I thought” she says as he walks down the stairs to join her.

“Ya I thought that to then I thought about how the press would be” The laugh.

“So what do you want to be pegasus, unicorn, or just a normal earth pony” Twilight asks  as she reads the book.

“Well as much as I would like to be a unicorn like you or my lover” he says as he gives Vinyl a kiss on her forehead, “but since I arrived I’ve been fascinated on the fact of flying so pegasus if possible” he says hoping he could be.

“Ah ok that’s a lot easier than unicorn because of the magic, but can I get a picture of you so that we can study your... stature” she asks

“That’s fine but uh how long will that take” he asks wanting to get to the transformation.

“It won’t take very long I’ve got my camera right here” she says pulling her camera in view with her magic, “now stand up so I can take one of your front, sides, and back” Cal does as he is told and stands up moves to a position that seems best and she takes her pictures, “Perfect now ready for the transformation” he nods his head and is waiting for his body to change. Twilight casts the spell upon him and he closes his eyes. Magic is flowing through him like a river through a canyon. He can feel it change his body but it doesn’t hurt him. It actually feels very good. His hands slowly close in on themselves and begin to flatten it forms a hoof. His head soon stretches up and his nose and mouth move outwards forming a muzzle. He begins to form hair all over his body it’s a dark blue color and it seems to suit him. He grows a mane and soon a tail follows both bright blue in color. But something doesn’t seem right to him he shrugs it off and is soon set down gently. He looked around and noticed that Vinyl and Twilight were just staring at him, “uh… guys stop starin…” He stopped once he heard his voice. It wasn’t his, well it was but it sounded more high pitched and female. It took him awhile to realize he was just no longer a he. He looked down and what he saw wasn’t a sheath he was a she, “Ahhhhhh” was all Cal could say.

“Uh… I must have done something wrong with the spell” Twilight said frantically looking through the book.

“O god o god o god!” Cal screamed frantically examining her new found body just running around thinking.

“Cal its ok I’m here for you” Vinyl said trying to comfort the new found mare. It seemed to work, “I still love you, and look on the bright side your wings look beautiful” Cal struggled to fan out her wings but she managed to do it and she just admired them and she calmed down. She looked to Twilight and noticed she was done looking.

“Well I found that there is a division between mare transformations and colt transformations, you can guess which I read from, and I kind of depleted my magic so it needs to regenerate for a few days” she said backing down in hopes Cal doesn’t get angry.

She was just about to flip out on Twilight until she remembered what happened last time. She calmly took in a breath and said, “Ok so Vinyl I’m moving in with you I’m afraid I might snap if I stay with Twilight for anytime longer and Twilight,” she looks up at Cal, “I know that you made a mistake and you’re going to correct it but I just don’t want to lash out at you so I’m leaving now ok” She says to the now relaxed mare.

“That’s fine if it’s ok with Vinyl of course” Twilight says still unsure that she wasn’t going to snap right there.

“Of course it’s fine” Vinyl said hugging her loved one in a tight embrace.

“I don’t think I have anything to pack just the clothes that I never really needed” she says thinking about all the work that Rarity must have put into the clothes. She runs upstairs and grabs the cloths quite awkwardly not knowing how to and puts them in a saddlebag that Twilight had given her. She put it onto her back and realizes that she doesn’t know how to fly. She makes a quick note to herself on trying it once they leave the house. She then goes downstairs to join the other mares, “Well I’m read to go, you Vinyl?”

“Whenever you are, see you later Twi” Vinyl said getting up and walking with Cal to the door.

“See you guys or I mean girls” she says teasingly

“Don’t push it Twi” Cal says irritated. They soon leave and make it to the house. Cal tried a few times to fly but only ended up with a mouth full of dirt. She knew now that she needed training and then thought about Rainbow Dash helping her. Of course this would be after she was turned into a colt instead of a mare.

“So now that we’re here what do you want to do” Vinyl asks.

“Rest” Cal said laying on the couch.

“Rest? You go the chance of a life time to experience what a mare experiences and you want to rest?” she says confused.

“Yep, we can do all we want to do tomorrow but right now I want to rest” she says passing out on the couch. Vinyl then grabs a blanket and puts it onto her lover and just lets her sleep. She can only imagine how it would be if she was turned into a colt. She goes off to bed and sleeps for the rest of the day. They did spend a lot of time last night doing it so they both needed this.
