Chapter OneView OnlineDawnedChapter One "Hurry up Spike! We don't have much time!" Twilight shouted. Princess Celestia had just sent Twilight a letter saying she needed her help to preform a spell and that a chariot would arrive soon totake them to Canterlot and, she spent the next hour rushing around gathering things for the trip and was making Spike very annoyed. "Calm down Twilight, the chariot hasn't even arrived yet," said Spike as Twilight pushed him out of the door. "I know but we need to tell our friends incase that we have to stay!" Twilight yelled back at Spike as she ran down street to find her friends. After an hour of rushing around and bumping into other ponies the duo had told their friends and spotted the chariot descending from the sky. "Come with us Miss Sparkle," said the mute gaurds "we will take you to the princesses." and with that they climbed in and took off to meet Princess Celestia. Traveling across the beautiful scenery of Equestria from the skies. It had been a good night, Dawn had made 53 dollars in town square playing her guitar and singing. She had been playing since she was 6 with her beautiful black accoustic guitar, a gift from her uncle. Dawn had been living alone since she was 10 and everyone insisted for her to live in an orphanage but she declined and, choose to preform to survive. She lived in a nice apartment in downtown Seattle, while she had many opportunities to leave the busy and gloomy city she stayed because she enjoyed the rain and coolness of the city. As she walked into the revolving doors she was visited by an ugly sight, her landlord. He was a dirty man in his late 50s and was a hopless drunk. "Hey pretty lady why dont you come up with me," he was often seen with a new girl every week,"you look awfully lonely tonight" he said in his gruff voice. "Once again Steve, I'm perfectly fine and just want to be left alone," she said automatically as she walked over to elevators. "I've had a long night and I'm exhausted," she said as the door shut. 'I have no idea how that guy is still alive being an excessive smoker and drinker' she thought for the millionth time. As she opened the door to her apartment, she flicked on the lights and walked over to open her laptop and check Skype. Seeing nothing she sighed and closed it and walked to her room to get ready to sleep. As she layed there waiting for sleep to come she wished for a different life. Sighing, she closed her eyes and drifted of to the realm of dreams. 2 am A brilliant flash could be seen from the 37th floor of the tall sky scaper that signaled the change of Dawns life. 6:30 pm, Canterlot Twilight and Spike had just arrived in the castle to be greeted by Celestia, "Hello Twilight," she greeted "Spike," as the two approched from the balcony and bowed. "Hello Princess,""Hello Princess, " they both responded at the same time as they rose to followed the princess. "I have summoned you here becuase I need you to help me with a spell which will transport an object from another dimension here to Equestria," she said "it is a very difficult spell which you, Princess Luna, and I will preform. A spell this complex will take a while to cast, five hours at the most," As they entered the throne room the center contained the night princess and a plethora of papers littered about the ground. "Examine the papers and tell us when you are ready to cast it," said Luna still facing the papers. Twilight lifted the papers and sat down to read them as quickly as she could. After a while she stood and and said "I am ready,". The three of them gathered in the center of the room and began casting the spell while Spike watched from the other side of the room. 'I hope they dont take to long' he thought as they closed thier eyes in concentration as thier horns grew even brighter. To Spike what seemed like ages the room was enveloped in a bright light and when it died down in the middle was a strange creature with no hair except for on its head. It looked up from the strange device in its hands and looked around with a look of shock then fainted. The princesses and Twilight were drained and looked ready to faint as well. The guards rushed foward and brought the three to thier rooms to rest along with the strange creature and Spike. The group recieved many strange looks as they walked through the castle. Some were frightened one even fainted while others were just greatly intrigued. The half conscious Celestia knew it would be along day tomorrow as she was placed in her bed.
Chapter 2View OnlineDawnedChapter 2Gasping as she woke Celestia awoke to the sound of her alarm telling her it was time to raise the sun. Suddenly remembering the events of the previous night her mind was filled with questions about the creature that was teleported here. Making her way out of her room she was told they were already eating. As she entered she saw Luna and Twilight eating and talking. As she sat down Luna said "The creature awoke then fainted and is resting now,". Glad that the spell had worked she began eating her pancakes, her favorite breakfast food becwuse it had cake in the name, quickly and with much gusto. Giggling at her teacher Twilight began eating her own food excited for the opportunity of learning about a new world IF the creature could talk of course. Her thoughts were interrupted by the sun princess asking where Spike was, she giggled at the memory of him from this morning she replied "He is sleeping in my room,". He was a baby dragon after all and was cranky from staying up all night and being woken. After they finished a guard approached telling them us creature was awake. As we followed her to its room they I was very excited. Opening the door they were I was shocked to see it standing looking out the window.As it turned around it surprised us even further by speaking. "Is this Inception or something I figured I would be backin reality by now," it said. "This is not a dream. You are well awake,"replied Celestia. Mouth agape it just looked at us. "My name is Twilight Sparkle, can you tell us yours?" I said. "Yyyou can talk!" It said shocked. "Of course we can," I responded looking at strangely. "Mmmmy name is Dddawn and horses dont talk!" it said still taken aback. "Can you tell us more about your self? Just basic things," Celestia said "Well as I said my name is Dawn I am a human from Earth I am a female, 22 years young, and am FREAKED out!" she said "A human," I said " what is that?" I asked hoping for more info. "A human is the sentient animal of Earth, we are bipedal creatures that in habit the land and are mainly omnivorous but some, like me, are herbivores," she replied "there is so much to say about us but first, where am I and how did I get here?" "You are in Equestria and we do not know how you got here," replied Celestia lying about the last part because she did not know whether it would like that she brought her here. "Untill you we know how to send you back you will live here in Equestria," "WHAT! I'm stuck here in Ehquestrio!"she said shocked. "E quest re ah," I responded. "For your time here you will live in ponyville with Twilight," Celestia continued "I will provide you with enough to start and the rest is up to you. You leave this afternoon," and with that she walked out and I followed her. 2:30 Twilight, Spike (the baby dragon who almost gave me a heart attack), Celestia, and me gathered on the balcony infront of a chariot being pulled by pegasi, PEGASI. As we loaded on Celestia handed me a bag with gold coins and bidnus farewell. The rest of the trip was spent in silence as we flew to the mysterious ponyville.
Chapter ThreeView OnlineDawnedChapter Three 4:30 The only thing I had was my laptop and phone. I had woken up and was grabbing my laptop and phone and was transported to Equestria. I fainted, like an idiot, of course. I'm a 6'2 white girl with long hair that looked like dawn, hence my middle name. I've live alone since I was 10 my parents and family are dead, I've gotten over it but it reallllllly affected me. I was depressed and bullied even worse when it happened, I had finished school at 16 and was done with college at 19. My only friends were over the internet, it was a lonely life but I coped and lived. My source of income was from my music I am a dj, it payed well for what it was I mean im alive and well arent I. I remember one gig I made like 1500 and had my first kiss, even though I was pissed it was a goo-- "WHAAAAAA!" My thoughts were interrupted as a pink blur knocked me to the ground and started talking. "HI MY NAME IS PINKIE PIE ARE YOU NEW," she spouted out inhumanly fast "OH MY GOSH YOU ARE!" and she was gone. "Dont worry about her thats just Pinkie Pie," Twilight said as she lifted me up "she likes meeting new ponies to befriend them," "Shes a pink devil on crack!" I exclaimed. Twilight giggled "Oh you'll get used to it," Walking down the path we got several odd looks but no other interruptions. As we walked in to the library which was a giant tree thirty minutes later the lights were off. "Oh buck," Twilight signed as the lights swere turned on as several ponkes shouted "SURPRISE!" and for a second time today I almost had a heartattack. And here came the the devil "Oh my gosh I love meeting new pon... wait what are you?" Pinkie spat out "My name is Dawn by the way and I am a human," I replied casually knowingi would be saying that alot the next few days. "A human! What a funny word, humanhumanhuman!" she said "my name is Pinkie Pie and WELCOME TO PONYVILLE" she shouted the last part at eardrum shattering levels. Bouncing off to go tall to other ponies I just sat there dumbstuck at to what just happened. I looked up to Twilight and just said "What," she only giggled and dragged me to meet her friends. Her friends consisted of 5 mares, a cyan rainbow-maned pegusus, a orange and blonde earthpony, Pinkie Pie, a yellow and pink pegusus, and a alabaster and purple unicorn. "Girls this is Dawn, Dawn these are Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity," said Twilight "Hi!" they all responded with smilies. "Hi" I responded back also with a smile. "We dont know how she got here and the princess decided she is staying here untill she can get back," Twilight explained. The rainbow one whos name I already forgot, walked foward and started sizing me up "ummm," I said confused "You seem to be in shape," she said. "Ummm,Thanks I guess," still confused looking at her. "Rainbow leave the poor dear alone," said the alabaster one as she stuck a foot out "my name is Rarity" I just figured she was trying to shake my hand so I took her hoof and shook it. A couple hours latter it was dark already and everyone was leaving. The last ones there were the five mares from earlier so I got up from my spot and went to talk. "Alright names, names." I mused "Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie, and uhh," I paused at the rainbow one "Colors?" "COLORS!" She exclaimed. Right there, I knew it I screwed up baaaaad. She got up and flew out fast and angrily. "Uhhhhhh" I said stupidly. "Dont worry darling shes just being Rainbow, she'll get over it," Rarity assured me as they walked out as well. "Idiot!" I yelled at my mistake. Frustrated at my self I just went to bed hoping I could maks it up to myself.
Chapter fourView OnlineDawnedChapter four I woke up early again two days in a row but today I awoke to the smell of pancakes, having only eaten last night and only a little then I was starving. Already up were Spikr and Twilight and as I walked in and they both started laughing I was just confused "What?" I questioned Giggling Twilight answered "There's a brush in the bathroom," so I trekked back up the stairs and into the bathroom. Looking at my self all I could do was groan. I always had bad bed head. As I began brushing my hair the brush was lifted from my hand and enveloped in a purple glow it started brushing again. I turned around to so see Twilight and she said "I have bad bed head too, dont worry about it" "Thats hard to believe youre so beautiful," realizing what I said I blushed. So what ponies can be cute! "Thanks," said Twilight who I imagined was blushing as well. After she finished we walked doen stairs to finish breakfast. Once my brain started to work again I asked "So whats the plan for today?" Looking at Twilight She swallowed the food and replied "Were going to show you around town," A while later Twilight and I walked out onto to the streets to visit the carousel boutique. Knocking on the door Rarity answered "Welcome to the carousel bout-Oh its you two!" She exclaimed "Come in, come in" as she ushered us in "So what brings you here?" she asked "I'm just showing Dawn around ponyville," Twilight responded. "Oh Wonderful! Say darling, do you need any clothing?" She asked towards me "Actually yes, do you have anything to draw on?" I said and Rarity handed me a pencil and paper and I began to sketch a trench coat. As I finished I handed it to her and asked "is this to much of a challange?" "Of course not, now lets get some measurements!" She said in a singsong voice. Walking out of the store I tried to pay her but she said it was a gift. "Wow, she generous, " I said. "Thats Rarity for you," Twilight responded "up next is Sweet Apple Acres, " Arriving at an apple farm we were greeted by a crack and the sound of apples falling into a bucket. "Well howdy there, what brings yall 'round here" greeted Applejack and Twilight responded with same answer. "Well that sounds fun, this here is Sweet Apple Acres. We grow the best apples in all of Equestria!" AJ responded proudly "Have one on me," and she chucked it over towards me. As I caught I responded "Thanks, I love apples," and bit into it and my mouthwas bombarded with flavor "Woah! Thats incredible" I responded "Next is Fluttershy" said Twilight as we walked away from the farm."just as a warning she super shy," As we reached a slightly wooded area a cottage appeared blooming with wildlife. "Wow this is beautiful," I said. As we neared Fluttershy noticed us and eeped and hid in a bush. I looked down at Twilight and she just shrugged. "Hello?" I called out at the bush. After a couple of seconds a white bunny began pulling Fluttershy out of the bush. Hiding behind her mane she timidly spoke out "hi," "Fluttershy, there is no reason to be scared were not going to hurt you," Twilight said. Slowly she emerged from out behind of her mane. "I'm just showing her around,"she pointed up at me. "Yup, no assault today," I responded and Twilght hit me "HEY," I shouted and she just looked at me "oh," I said realizing my mistake and looked to seethat Fluttershy was gone. We arrived in front of a giant gingerbread house and walked in "Pinkie?" I asked and Twilight nodded "Welcometo sugarcube corner!" Shouted Pinkie "Cupcakes on the house," and she rushed into the kitchen while me and Twilight sat down. A minute latter Pinkie walked out with a plat with pink frosted cupcakes. "Thanks Pinkie" I said as I enjoyed my mini cakes. After thanking her again we walked out "Think we could find Rainbow, I really want to apologize,"I asked "No shes probably in a cloud somewhere," she replied "oh". Little did they know she was above them listening. Arriving at the library Spike was dusting a shelf "Hey Spike," I greeted and he just waved. "Twilight can I borrow a book about Equestria?" I asked "Sure we just got a new one thats current," she replied "Thanks,". I went upstairs to my room and began to read the book untill dinner. "Wow! This place is incredible,"I exclaimed "I never imagined that" I had gotten fairly far into the book. "Hownfar did you get in," Twilight asked "about three hundred pages in," and her jaw dropped "I didnt knowmyou read," she said shocked. "I love to read," I replied happily at thinking about my addiction. After we finished I went upstairs to end day two of Equestria.
