Origins

by Trolloas 2
A strange unicorn from out of town tells a story that many have never heard.

It was a bright and sunny day in ponyville, all the fillies and colts playing around town as their parents talked with friends. Everything was fine in town and the day seemed like it would be an uneventful one, that is until a cloaked pony pulling a large wagon walked into town. The cloak was a dark ice blue and a mask of a similar colored dragon adorned the ponies face, covering the pony so fully that the only thing that could be seen was their eyes. Their eyes glowed like a faint light throw ice, whisps of this blue glow escaped from them like a mist. Most ponies would normally be scared at such a strangeness, but instead found themselves curious as to what the pony was doing in town. A great parade of ponies followed the strange masked pony to the center of town where the cloaked pony unhitched themselves from the wagon and quickly entered it, leaving the crowd of ponies even more confused.

To all of their suprise the side of the wagon popped open and became a stage with black curtains. The strange pony walked out of the curtains and bowed, using their magic images apeared. They were ponies, but some were seemingly out of fantasy while others were easily recognised as the Princesses and other famous ponies in history. "It is nice to see such a crowd for such a lowly magicain as myself." The masked pony said, there voice a cold rasp but identifiable as male. He looked over the crowd, an unseen smile being conveyed to all attended. "Now, I came here to tell you all a story, one of love and loss, of sacrifice and suffering, of joy and genecide." The pony rasped, his strange illusions stretching as if they were real ponies. "Now, let our tale begin."
