The Beginning

Our story begins with the birth of a purple little unicorn. Wait, thats not right, we need to start at the beginning not near the end. No, I am not talking about Discord's reign or Celestia and Luna's birth, I'm talking about the very beginning. In a land where nothing lived or died, two alicorns found themselves. Life, a mare of such beauty and kindness that even Death, the pale pony himself loved her. Their first child was Terra, the ruler of earth.

One of the illusions walked forward, a large earth pony with a mane of grass and a body of dirt, stone, and gems.

With her great power Terra calmed the earth, making the land an oasis for Life and a final resting place for Death. The next to be born was Aqua, the ruler of water.

Another illusion of an earth pony stepped forward, this one tall but thin with a mane of seaweed and a body without hair, her blue tinged skin seemed at home in her domain.

With her great power Aqua calmed the sea, allowing Life to grow and Death to settle at the bottom. The next to be born was the twins Ignis and Ventus, rulers of fire and wind respectfully.

Two pegasi walked forward this time, both had wings and their bodies shifted randomly as a flame in the wind or the change of temperature in the air, one's mane was of fire while the others was of storm clouds.

Both the brothers used their great power to give Life animation and Death stillness. The next to be born was Tempus, the ruler of time.

A unicorn that seemed to be forever changing from young, to adult, to old stepped forward, it had no mane and it's body was the color of sand.

It is not known what power over time Tempus had, or wether it was male or female, but what is known is that Tempus gave Life the beginning of time and Death the end.

Tempus was also the first to have children out of all of Life and Death's children. From it's own body Tempus created two alicorns, it's daughter Selene was the alicorn of the moon while her brother was Helius, alicorn of the sun.

Two alicorns stepped forward, but these ones were half the size of Life and Death's First Born. One's mane was a perfect picture of the sunrise as the others was a perfect picture of the night sky. Selene's apearance made many shudder as she looked a lot like Nightmare Moon, but more vicious and wild looking. Helius made all of the nervous ponies fill with a sense of calm as they looked upon him, as he reminded them of Princess Celestia.

There were many other alicorns and other creatures born from the First Born, wether they were made from a part of them or born from their love for each other. Tempus distanced itself from its siblings, leaving Helius and Selene as the only reminder of its existance. Selene and Helius's love for each other was so great that Selene gave birth to two little fillies, the eldest being Celestia and the youngest being Luna.

Yes, your precious pony princesses, the ones and only.

The illusion of Celestia stepped forward and nuzzled her parents while an illusion of Nightmare Moon hid behind her, trying her hardest not to be seen.

Selene knew that most of her uncle's and aunt's children did not trust, or even feared her just because of her appearance. So when she saw her daughter for the first time she placed an illusion spell on Luna so that she would look more like Celestia.

Nightmare Moon changed into Luna and quickly ran into her parents waiting hooves. It brought a happy sigh from the whole crowd, who had put their fear of Celestia and Luna's mother as she seemed to care so much about her daughters.

Now, There were many other beings born from the First Born, and not all were happy that the alicorns were loved more than them. A group of creatures that felt that way were the draconequus, who were shunned by most for their strange looks and behavior.

A group of angry draconequus circled over the ponies heads as they watched the happy gods, most ponies cowering away from their even stranger appearances than Discord.

This group called themselves the Chaos Bringers, and decided on a plan to kill the alicorns and take over the world.

All the draconequus began to smirk evily as they began to decend upon the alicorns and other creatures such as griffons and normal ponies.

The Chaos Bringers attacked and killed many of the lower species before the alicorns could even react, making so many species fall before they could become anything but tribes.

The Draconequus fell upon their enemies with a feriocity that made everypony in the crowd shake with fear, but for every one they killed a whisp of negative emotion flew into the air until it was a large cloud of anger and hate.

Aqua and Ventus were horrified at their children's uncare for life and the early death of those murdered. Terra and Ignus were angered by this and there anger latched onto the left over energy from the battles and Erat the Murderer was born.

A part of the cloud of negative emotions broke off and Terra's and Ignus's anger seeped into it. A alicorn made of obsidian with a mane of uncontrollable fire and blood red eyes was formed from the cloud and with an evil grin threw himself into the battles, making it into a blood bath as both sides tried to kill him, only to feed his anger and make him stronger.

"Luckily he killed more draconequus than he killed alicorns or else he would have never been banished to Tartarus. But that my friends, is a story for another time. And besides, an old magician like me needs a brake of about two hours." The illusions faded away as the crowd stomped the ground, the magician giving another bow before walking to the edge of the stage and sitting. "While I rest, if any of you have a question you may ask me." The crowd dispersed as some rushed to the stage to ask a question while others went to have a quick lunch or simply talked in small groups about the interesting storyteller. One such group was made up of two earth ponies, two pegasi, a unicorn, an alicorn, and a baby dragon. "What I want to know is how this pony seems to know so much about Equestria's history, if any of it is even true." Twilight said to her gathered friends who were talking among themselves. "I don't know Twi, he hasn't said a single lie this whole time, and I would know if he did." Applejack said, a look of worry on her face as she watched the storyteller answer questions. "Then I will send a letter to the princess telling her about the storyteller and see what she thinks." Twilight said as she also watched the storyteller, his mask an unnervingly realistic depiction of a dragon's head.
