Chapter 1

A few days after the craziness of meeting Sunshi....(cough) Sunset Shimmer, Twilight was ready to be back at her happy home in Ponyville. Everything was normal and peaceful until one morning, there was a knock at her door. "I wonder who that is?" asked Twilight. She would've had Spike open the door but since the baby dragon was sleeping and it was only seven o' clock in the morning, she would've felt bad for waking him up.

"Besides," yawned Twilight. "If I can stay up all night just to read about spells and such, I shouldn't have a problem opening the door." She looked through the peephole and saw a young stallion looking at the door. His fur was a light brown and his hair was swept back like Dr. Whooves. But, instead of murmuring to himself like the Doctor always does, he was just moving his eye back and forth through the peephole. His cutie mark was a triangle inside of a upside down triangle like the stallion Link a couple blocks away. She decided that he didn't look too dangerous, he was an Earth stallion after all. She let him in and he ran into her.

"Oops uh sorry." said the stallion as he stood on top of her. She was blushing even though she was clearly annoyed.

"No by all means, COME IN."

"Uh...I am in."

"I know, it was sarcasm, can you get off of me please?"

"Oh...uhhh."

"NOW!"

"Okay! Sorry."

He was obviously nervous, she could see that just by looking at him.

"Are you... Twilight Sparkle?" She was quickly surprised that he knew her name.

"Why yes I am and who are you sir?"

"I am Artie it's nice to meet you!" He held out his hoof.

"Well," Twilight thought. "At least he's a gentlecolt." She held out her hoof only for him to smack it up and down. "OW!" She held her hoof. "Why would you do that?"

"That's how I say hello." he looked down frowning. For some odd reason Twilight wanted to let him know he didn't so anything wrong, even though he kind of did.

"Sorry, I've never seen someone do that before. What are you here for?" she asked him sympathetically.

"I'm here for a book Ms. Sparkle." "Ms. Sparkle is my mother, you can call me Twilight."

"Ok Twilight!" he was obviously happy she was willing to let him use her first name.

"What kind of book do you need?" asked Twilight as she started sifting through the books she had already read.

"I want like a book to tell me how to come on to a beautiful alicorn." She stopped dead in her tracks and turned around to face him. He was looking down and rubbing his hoof along the wooden floorboard. He was blushing really hard and she was blushing as well but she was more shocked over anything else.

"I don't think we have any types of books here. But, there is this website called fimfictio-"

"What I'm really trying to say is, would you like to go somewhere?"

"At seven o' clock in the morning? With somepony I don't even know? How do you even know me?" She asked almost regretting she let this stallion into her home.

"I'll answer all of those questions for you, it can be at whatever time you'd like, and you could get to know me, and I know you because of Princess Celestia."

"You know Princess Celestia?" she asked amazed.

"Well, one day I was summoned to make a sculpture of her but when she turned around I saw her flank and her cutie mark was a sun so I said, that's one fiery flank. She then banished me to the moon for one hour. But before I left she was lecturing me on how if you were there, she would've gave you a lesson on how to turn a stallion into the pig he really is." She stared in shock at this rude and dirty stallion.

"So you have the nerve to come to me this early in the morning to come on to the student of the Princess that you insulted?"

"It was more of a compliment-"

"GOODBYE!" And with that she lifted him up with her magic and threw him out of the door. Slamming the door behind him. "It'll be too soon if I see that pig again, he's worser then Diamond Dogs!" She said as she sat down at her table. Too bad she was going to see him a lot sooner then what she had in mind.
