The mane 10!

Fluttershy was peacefully asleep with Angel next to her. She was in bliss until she heard someone yell for help. Her helping instincts came right into gear and she had flew downstairs with Angel snoring soundly asleep. She opened the door and looked around. She suddenly realized that the sound was coming from the Everfree forest. She really didn't want to go in there but she couldn't ignore a cry for help and no one was near to help her.

"SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!" yelled a pleading voice. She knew the voice wasn't too far so she decided to take chances. She closed her eyes and ran into the forest.

"Umm... does anyone need my help?" she murmured.

"Please, someone help me!" someone cried. She realized he was down a slope where there was a lot of dirt. She flew down and looked into a underground cave.

"I...Is someone in there?" Fluttershy asked while peering into the cave.

"Over here Miss." She looked at a large rock and didn't notice anything at first, until she saw a black furred unicorn staring back at her. He had a black mane with red tips and his cutie mark had a sword and a shield crossing each other. He looked okay until she saw the gash in his forearm. He looked like he was going to pass out from either the pain or from being so tired.

"Hello ma'am, thank you for coming out to save me, another second and I would've had to crawl my way to civilization."

"OH NO ARE YOU OKAY?" She flew right over to him and tried to carry him. She knew he was weak but he was really heavy.

"Maybe I can help you." He said. A bright flash of light peered over them and she felt a lot stronger then she usually was. She tried to lift him and she did it effortlessly. She flew to the house with quick ease and laid him out on the table. She flew up to get some medical supplies and came back down to help him. After an hour of healing him and talking to him, she learned pretty much all there is to know about him.

She knew he used to be a royal guard for Princess Celestia until he decided he wouldn't do any good if he was to nice just attack someone and leave them to die. So he left to become an adventurer. He helped solve crimes and get artifacts until he got lost in the Everfree forest looking for the Legend of the Mirror Pool. He was there for a few days until he was attacked by timber wolves and that's how she found him a few hours later. He was pretty good at magic unless he was nervous or stressed out. They were telling things about each other for hours until Angel came bouncing down the stairs for something to eat. His scar was healing up really good and he was getting able to walk. When she came back from feeding Angel he was gone and he left a note.

It said, "It was lovely getting to know you Fluttershy, I would love to do this again sometime. I will meet and talk with you some other time very soon." He marked his name in cursive with a heart next to it. She looked up blushing and left singing her happy tune.
