The mane 10!

After a few months later and the Winter Wrap up was over, Artie and Twilight were officially a couple, they even moved in together! Artie moved in with Twilight and Artie and Spike clicked. Spike had a new love and it was the Marebox 360. They were in harmony. She even taught him how to not be a slob. They woke up and he went to work at Sugar Cube Corner while she studied and read. The few months were really quiet with almost no trouble whatsoever, besides the sideways glances from other people that knew Twilight was way out of Artie's league, but they paid them no mind. They were in love.

Fluttershy and Vido, were in true bliss. They moved in only a month after dating, they had so much in common. Vido had a love for animals and he planned on being a veterinarian, but his father wanted a warrior son. His cutie mark actually displayed his talent of not offense, but defense. But, he learned he was a great adventurer, he found all types of ancient and important artifacts. The only reason why he even tried was because he read the stories of Daring Do and he knew he needed something slightly less violent to do. They were happy and Angel was... well he was coping with the fact that Fluttershy didn't put all of her attention on him.

The couples were in harmony until Princess Celestia summoned them to her castle via Spike, The letter literally asked for Twilight and Vido, but since Artie and Fluttershy were so worried, their mates asked them to tag along. Of course the Mane 4 came for support and when they came, they were greeted by the royal guards. They were then escorted to Princess Celestia and Luna. Luna gave them a nod of appreciation but Princess Celestia actually looked... well she looked mad! They were confused with what they did wrong and then they looked at Artie. Artie bowed and was shivering and trembling.

"What are you doing here?" Celestia boomed in the royal speak, the mane 6 and Vido didn't think the Princess had the royal speak even though she was a royal Princess but she never used that voice before, even when they were attacked by the Changeling Queen.

"Umm..uhh." Artie stammered.

"Uh Princess Celestia, Artie is... my marefriend."

"He's your what?" Princess Celestia asked in her normal voice.

"We met and I honestly like him." Twilight said in a nervous breath. Princess Celestia glared at Artie for another five seconds but it felt like a few hours. At last Princess Celestia finally averted her gaze back to the other mane 7.

"Well, awkward silence aside, I have a mission for you Twilight and you as well Vido." Princess Celestia said.

"What do you have for us Princess?" asked Twilight.

"I want you to go to another universe." Princess Celestia said blatantly. They just stared at her in shock.

"Well, which one Princess?" asked Pinkie Pie.

"The universe that Twilight and Vido only will go on is to our distant sister universe, it is known as the Halo universe and a Pegasus and a unicorn will be there. You are to let them know that their time in the war is over, they have been there for ten years."

"Ten years? That's one long war!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"The war was officially 30 years long, they were only there for the last ten years." Princess Celestia said.

"Why were they there?" Vido asked.

"They were to collect information on the Covenant, I believe that after they beat the humans, who we are working along with, they were going to come after us. So, I sent our best warrior who was also the past leader of the Wonderbolts."

"WHO WHO WHO WHO?" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"His name is Blue Lightning" Princess Celestia said.

"We have to go Princess, please?" Rainbow Dash begged.

"Yeah, please Princess?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"It would be nice to go but if you don't want us to I'd completely understand." Fluttershy suggested.

"I'm okay with not going honestly." Rarity said.

"Yea can we plea-" Princess Celestia stared daggers at Artie.

"It shure would be fun just to be in another universe." Applejack said.

"Huh, fine you all may go but," she stared at Artie while saying this. "If you cause any problems with the humans or if you get abducted, don't try coming back. We don't need a war. The humans are a lot more violent than we are."

"Okay." everyone said.

"Well then, off you go and Twilight."

"Yes Princess."

"No all of you, good luck."

"Wait, how would we know where Blue Lightning is?" Twilight asked.

"You'll know trust me." Princess Celestia said. They all walked into this new portal the Princess had opened. They fell through the portal screaming until they landed on some hard ground.

Artie, Vido, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash woke up in full battle armor. They were wearing an army mask and battle armor. It was an army green color which looked awesome to them.

"Hey where is Twilight?" Artie asked.

"I'm right here." Twilight said a little too close.

"Where I don't see you?" Vido, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash finally rose, realizing everyone else was missing too.

"I'm right here!" Twilight yelled and Twilight appeared small and blue on Artie's screen.

"Whoa! what happened to you?"

"YAY WERE AI'S!" Pinkie Pie yelled. She showed up on Apple Jack's screen.

"Gravy!" Applejack yelled as she tripped over.

They were getting everything sorted out until this small alien with a pyramid scrambled over with a gun. He was aiming straight at Rainbow Dash and was getting ready to fire, charging up the gun for a damaging kill, when out of nowhere, someone, or somepony shot him from a mile away on top of a hill. The alien darted off screaming while the not so mysterious pony shot him again.

"Whoa! You must be-"

"Yup the one and only." he took off his gear and showed his face. His mane was long and black and was greying in certain areas. He had blue fur with a toothpick in his teeth.

"Sylvia?"

"Yes Blue?" "Mark that down as the first blood would ya please?"

"Already did." A unicorn appeared on his screen and they realized that was the unicorn Princess Celestia was telling them about.

"So uhh... what are you all doing here?" Blue Lightning asked with a grin.
