'Cold.'

That one word flew through my mind as I woke up from my daily afternoon nap. Which was odd considering the fact that my bed had two giant fuzzy warm blankets. Then again, this didn't feel anything like my bed...

Pushing myself to my knees I stood up quickly, intent on figuring out where I was, only to slam my head into something hard. I fell back down, craddling my sore head in my hands, and opened my eyes.

Black.

Some people say it's a shade, but in that moment I had no doubt it was a color, and it was the only thing I could see. I reached my hands out, feeling around me for anything that would indicate where exactly I was. I stopped moving when my hands came into contact with something cold, hard, round, and undoubtably metal.

I was in a cage.

Figuring out why I was in a cage didn't matter to me at the moment, only escaping did. Getting back onto my knees, careful not to bump my head again, I felt my way up each and every bar that surrounded me, searching for something.

'There!'

I grinned as I felt the locking mechanism on one of the bars behind me. It wasn't even a lock, just one of those latch things that are put on the doors of pet cages. It took little to no time to free myself.

Now that I was free, I decided it would be a good idea to find put why I couldn't see. Reaching up to my face I felt around my eyes for anything that could be blocking my sight. My breath hitched and my heart skipped a beat when the terrifying reality of my situation set in.

I was blind.

I fell back down to my knees, clenching my hands into fists, and let out a piercing scream of denial. It didn't take long before I heard footsteps, but by then I didn't care. I was too far lost within my own mind to focus on anything else but my lack of sight.

A blow to the back of my head rendered me unconscious.

~~~
I reentered the land of the living to feel something poking the aching back of my head. Needless to say, I freaked out and lunged away from my assailant, only for something soft and fuzzy to block my path.
I latched onto the object, using it to rise to my feet, and kept one hand on it as I used the other to search my pant pocket for my pocket knife, I relaxed and let out a sigh of relief as I touched it; I wasn't completely defenseless. Returning my hand to the object I was grasping, I began to feel along it. It was a wing, and its owner was currently moaning in delight.
"What is it doing Princess?"
I froze in place, whipping my head in the direction of the voice. "Where am I?" I asked.
"What did it say Fluttershy?"
My knees buckled. I leaned on the wing to keep from falling. I could understand them, but they couldn't understand me.
"W-well I'm not positive since I've never seen anything like it before, but it's mannerisms suggest that it likes Princess Luna."
"We like this creature. We have decided that we shall keep it as a pet." Spoke the owner of the wing I was holding in a feminine voice.
"What?!" I cried out in shock. I wasn't a pet! I was about to tell the owner of the wing off, but thought better of it, instead choosing to just let go of her wing and walked in a random direction.
Whack!
I groaned from my place on the floor. "Fuck you wall." I said as I lifted my hand gave it a one-fingered salute.
"Why did it just do that?"
"I'm... not sure." The voice that belonged to the one called Fluttershy answered. I could tell that as her name suggested, she was very shy by how quiet and nervous her voice sounded.
I pressed my hands against the hard wooden floor and pushed myself up into a sitting position. Feeling out my surroundings with my hands, I slowly turned around and finally opened my eyes. While the reaction I recieved wasn't exactly the response I was expecting, it was pretty damn close.
Two shrieks of surprise and two loud gasps were what graced my ears, alerting me to the fact that there were four of them, and that they were all female.
Now most guys wouldn't have a problem with being alone in a room with four women, but I'm not most guys. I was one of those guys who were shy and quickly became nervous whenever a girl was around. The fact that there were four of them was causing me to start sweating.
"Are you sure you're up to the task of keeping a pet dear sister?" A new voice spoke up.
A snort. "We have confidance that we will do just fine. We might however, require your assistance on occasion Tia, as this will be a new experience for us."
I zoned out after that, my mind racing with questions, theories, and scenarios. It was only when what was most likely a metallic object nudged my side, that I began paying attention to them again.
I instinctivly scooted away in the opposite direction of where the object had come from, right into the embrace of the owner of the wing from before.
"Gotcha!" The female... Creature exclaimed, their arms wrapping around my torso and pulling me to their chest. I let out a soft sigh and allowed myself to relax, the warmth her body gave off was a pleasant change from the cold wooden floor of wherever we were.
