Rebuilding a Rainbow

The day went perfect for the two. To Rainbow, Twilight was right, the walk was helping her forget what she remember. During the walk, Rainbow asked Twilight why she's not in Canterlot since she is a Princess. Twilight told Rainbow Celestia offered her to stay, but she denied it and stated that she prefers to stay at Ponyville because she calls it home, and she doesn't want to be separated from her friends. Twilight and Rainbow Dash then had Lunch at a Restaurant and had a decent day.

It then became night and Twilight offered Rainbow to sleep at her place. Rainbow agreed, she and Twilight had been Marefriend and Marefriend for a whole day, and it may help overcome her memory. Twilight and Rainbow Dash then went to bed and Twilight was sleeping peacefully with Rainbow. Suddenly she became thirsty She went downstairs and got some water. Suddenly she heard Rainbows voice.

"Nnngh, Please, Don't hurt me."

Twilight was stunned. It sound like Rainbow was having that nighmare of her memory. Twilight finished her water and went upstairs, she entered the bedroom and walked towards Rainbow

"Rainbows Nightmare/Memory"

"You think you are special, well, Like i told you before, You're not."

"Shut up"

"Don't tell me to shut up, i even know that you're a fillyfooler"

Suddenly a voice came from the beyond, "Rainbow, wake up" said the voice

"Shut up"

"Well guess what" said Rainbow Flare

Rainbow Flare then punched Rainbow in the stomach and knocked her to the floor. "You say you're awesome, you. are. not."

"Rainbow wake up" said the voice

Rainbow was trying to catch her breath, she then looked at her dad, she had a tear of pain in her eye. "YOU"RE THE UNFIT PARENT."

"oh yeah, well time for more pain."

Rainbow Flare then start to pull his hoof back and Rainbow looked horrified.

"Please, don't hurt me"

"RAINBOW!" shouted the voice

Rainbows eyes shot open and she was sweating and let out a scream. she then saw Twilight. "It's okay, it's me." said Twilight. Twilight was relieved. She got Rainbow out of her Nightmare,

"Why...Why that Nightmare again?"

"I'm worried Rainbow, usually Princess Luna usually comes into your nightmares."

"That is why i decided to come speak to Rainbow in the real world, Princess Twilight." Said a mysterious voice.

Both Rainbow and Twilight looked and they saw Princess Luna. They both bowed. "Are we dreaming?" asked Twilight

"No Twilight, your not dreaming, nor Rainbow."

"What brings you here your highness?" Asked Rainbow

"I been looking in your Nightmare for a while now Rainbow. I Couldn't come in your dream to help at all, because that takes place in your past, while i was on the moon. so it seems the memory of the JL-4 incident is haunting you."

Rainbow went wide eyed at the name of the case. she knew the JL-4 incident is the Incident that she was the victim in and her dad was the suspect. It turned out that Rainbow received word from the Officers the day the verdict was handed. it turned out that her dad was also a Murderer, due to this she realize that her father was doing this because he was insane. But she was shocked. How on earth did Luna Learn about JL-4 incident?

"How....How do you know about the Case?"

"my sis told me about it when i mentioned your nightmare to her. she said that you were a victim of your father. She also told me that she requested you to stay with your friend Fluttershy until you had your own house."

"Wait....isn't that Illegal? revealing Classified information?'

"Not when your a Ruler, you can only share it to certain people. since i saw this happen in your dream and told sis, she revealed the case to me. So it is Legal, since i am a ruler and the authority to know about the case."

"Oh."

Twilight looked at the night princess. "Does that mean Rainbow has to conquer her past?" she asked.

"Sadly, since this is nothing that i seen before, it'll be hard to do. Somepony has to help her conquer her past."

Rainbow looked at Luna and Smiled. she slid by Twilight and wing hugged her. "Well i think i found somepony to help me." she said

"Oh, i guess you're being her psychologist then Twilight?"

"Uh...You can say that....."

Twilight started Blushing and so was Rainbow. Princess Luna looked at them and started to become curious. "Uh, is there a different reason?"

The blushing was still continued, seconds later Twilight admitted Defeat. "Ok you got us. We are together, we are in love." said Twilight

Princess Luna was shocked as ever. she then had a big smile on her face. "Oh my. Thats fantastic news Twilight. may i ask how long you been together?"

"Me and Twi have been together for a whole day. we became in Love today. you see after she heard my story of the JL-4 incident, she felt sorry, and admitted she loves me. she also said shes gonna help me start a new life."

"My word. Thats good news. But Rainbow heres a tip. You need treatment and need to Relax. Twilight would be able to help you out."

Twilight then realized what Luna was saying. According to what she knows, there is a spell that can help Rainbow Relax her mind and only lasts for a certain time. "i will help Rainbow." said Twilight

"Very well. i should head back to Canterlot. news has been going out that somepony Broke out of Manehattan Solitary Prison. we are still trying to find out who, we are hopping it's not the Suspect from the Jl-4 incident."

With that Princess Luna then Teleported back to Canterlot. Twilight was getting back in bed and laid next to Rainbow. "i'll help you relax tomorrow."

Rainbow then looked at Twilight "I have to go see my boss tomorrow."

Twilight looked at Rainbow. "Why?"

"This has been bugging me for a while, the memory. it even interferes with my job. I have to Tell Cloud Chase i'll be taking a Leave from wrok for a few months, i will have to mention that i been suffering from Memories of the JL-4 incident."

Twilight looked at Rainbow and she took note that Rainbow was right. Rainbow needs to take leave from work for a while. It's better safe then sorry to have Rainbow off work for a bit. "Let's get some Sleep." said Twilight. Rainbow agreed. after saying goodnight they drifted into sleep.

Next Day

Weather Factory

The next day, Rainbow and Twilight woke up. Dash had a quick breakfast and she headed towards The Cloudsdale Weather Factory to meet with her boss. When she arrived her boss was waiting for her. "Ah Rainbow i been expecting you, do you mind coming in my office?" asked Cloud Chaser

"I wanted to talk to you also."

"Well come to my office, we can talk."

Rainbow and Cloud Chaser headed towards Cloud Chasers office, they then entered the office. Rainbow took a seat in the chair and Cloud Chaser sat in her Chair. "Okay, Rainbow, first, i am gonna say you're not in trouble. second, why have you been off edge these past months? and third, why am i getting complaints from the weather team about you not showing up yesterday?"

"Thats the reason..... I want to talk to you."

Cloud chaser noticed Rainbow wearing something. On her neck was a neckless with a wierd object. turns out Twilight created it when Rainbow was still sleeping. She told Rainbow that it changes color depending on the emotion she is feeling. it was Black, Twilight said that if its color is Black she is feeling fear.

"Rainbow whats that thing around your neck, and why is it black? Also are you feeling okay?"

"Its a special neckless, it changes color depending on my mood, Twilight created it. Reason it's black it means i'm experiencing fear. Also i'm not feeling okay, thats why the thing is black. i came for a request."

"Is it dealing with your fear?"

"I.... I request a Long Leave of absence."

"Why? your the best weather pony ever, why is this sudden?"

Rainbow sighed "Have you heard of the JL-4 incident?"

Cloud chaser was shocked. She knew the JL-4 incident. it was the case Rainbow was involved in. "Is...Is this case really bugging you?"

"Bugging me for a while now, it's interfering with my job."

Cloud Chaser thought for a moment. she knew this was serious. Rainbow was worried that she may deny the Leave of Absense. She then looked at Rainbow. "You're granted the Leave of Absense. Take as much time you need."

"th....thank you sir."

Rainbow then left Cloud Chasers office and headed out of the Factory. she then headed back to the Library. Twilight was gonna help Rainbow Relax.

Library

At the Library, Twilight was seen reading about the spell Luna mentioned. she was studying it hard so she can use it on Rainbow to make her relax. Spike came in and saw Twilight. "Twilight, shouldn't a Psychologist help Rainbow?"

"Spike, according to Luna, That won't work, the only way is for her to relax. besides, she agreed for me to let me cast the spell on her."

"Well, if Luna's right, then that should be okay."

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. the door opened and it was Rainbow, "Hey Twi, i'm back." said Rainbow

Twilight couldn't help but smile. she then looked concerned and was worried. What if Cloud Chaser denied her request? What if she didn't believe Rainbow? she then looked at Rainbow again. "So, what happened?" said Twilight "Please don't be what i am thinking the answer is gonna be." she thought to herself.

Rainbow looked and smiled, and the neckless then turned green "Cloud Chaser granted permission for me to take leave of absense for as long as i need to." Rainbow Replied.

Twilight let out a relieve. She was glad Rainbows request was granted. She then put her book down and came to Rainbo and gave her a kiss. she then realized it was time to help Rainbow. "Rainbow, you ready for me to help you Relax and calm you down?" asked twilight

"Yes. so what will the spell do?"

"Its main purpose is to help those who need to relax, since you need to relax, it will make your body feel Relax, you'll be calm, your mind will be off, meaning you will not be focusing on the memory, and so on."

Rainbow then nodded and came close to twilight. "Now i need you to listen to me, i have to countdown from 10 in order for the spell to take affect.  it will stay active until 3pm."

Rainbow nodded and listen to Twilight. as she counted down her body was feeling different. As twilight continued her mind was relaxed. Twilight then reached 0 and looked at Rainbow Dash. she was praying the spell worked. "How you feeling Now Rainbow?" asked Twilight

Rainbow then looked at Twilight and she was smiling. "I'm feeling Relaxed, but it feels weird."

"That's because it's supposed to feel weird. Come sit on the couch with me. i'll give you a back rub."

Rainbow then followed Twilight to the couch and sat down, Twilight sat next Rainbow and looked at Rainbow. She then started to rub Rainbows back. Rainbow felt Twilights hoofs,  to her they felt Warm, she couldn't help but smile. Twilight saw the Smile on Rainbows face. she couldn't help but smile herself. she then started rubbing Rainbows Hoofs and Rainbow was okay with it. "You are enjoying it Rainbow, aren't you?" said Twilight. Rainbow couldn't help but giggle

"Yes, it feels good Twi, even though your hoofs are warm, it feels nice."

Twilight couldn't help but blush. after a while of rubbing Rainbows back, Twilight then asked Rainbow to look at her, Rainbow looked at Twilight and Twilights lips touched Rainbows. Rainbow knew what Twilight was doing. she then wrapped her hoofs around Twilight and the two proceeded to kiss. Rainbow felt like she was in a dream due to the spell but it wasn't, this was real. Rainbow then felt Twilights tongue touch hers, she the kissed her some more. They backed away to catch their breath. "Twi?" said Twilight

"yeah?"

"I love you"

"I love you too Rainbow"

"Hey Twi?"

"yeah?"

"do you Want to tell are Friends about us being, you know, together once the spell wheres off?"

Twilight thought for a moment, Twilight decided to not wait, they have to tell their friends. "Sure Rainbow."

Rainbow then smiled. Their lips once again met, and they proceeded to continue. After a short while Twilight, Twilight went down to the main part of the Library and got a book, the new Daring do book, Daring Do and the Ancient Orb. She then went up stairs and walked by Rainbow, who was Waiting on the couch, "Hey, Rainbow. Look what i have." she said

Rainbow then looked at the book her eyes went wide. she was staring at the new Daring Do book. "How did you get that book?" she asked

"i placed a order copy for the library got it a couple of days ago. wanna read it?"

Rainbow knew that due to the spell helping her relax, and her mind loose, she had to agreed. Reading would help. Through out the time they spend the time reading the book. Rainbow was happy that she is enjoying the book. Twilight noted that Rainbow Dash was easily relaxed by the spells effect and noted it was definently helping. by 2:59 pm they finished the book for the day and put a bookmark in the area where they stopped. Twilight looked at Rainbow. "The spells effect should end now." said Twilight. It was now 3pm and the Spell wore off. Rainbow was looking at Twilight smiling.

"Thank you Twi, you helpped me relax and get my mind off that." Said Rainbow.

Twilight was glad that Rainbow was not thinking of her memory of her past. She was glad that the spell helpped. she needs to this from time to time to keep Rainbow from suffering from the memory of her past. "your welcome Rainbow. Now lets go tell our friends. if i'm correct they should be at Sugarcube Corner."

Rainbow agreed, their friends should know about them being together. she got up and followed Twilight to the door. "Spike we are going out for a bit."

"Okay Twilight. I know what else you're gonna say, one the library."

Twilight and Rainbow headed out and head Straight to Sugarcube Corner, they were hoping that their friends would be okay with it.

Sugarcube Corner

Rainbow and Twilight had arrived at sugarcube corner. Twilight was worried. "Twi, you okay, you look like your doing a final exam and you didn't study."

"I'm just nervous, what if are friends hate us?"

"Twi, they're are friends, it doesn't matter if they hate it or not, besides they will always be are friends."

Twilight took it in and they both walked in to sugarcube corner. "Well howdy their Twilight, haven't seen you in a day, nor Rainbow." said applejack

"Hi Dashie." said pinkie

"Hi Rainbow." greeted Fluttershy

"Hi there darlings." said Rarity

"Hey girls. me and Rainbow got something to tell you all." said Twilight

"What is it sugarcube?"

"Me and twilight are together, we are in love." said Rainbow

To everyone this was unexpecting news, they had smiles on their faces. "My word darling, that's fantastic News." said Rarity

"That's great Rainbow." said Fluttershy

"Well thats something sugarcube congrats."

"I know what it calls for. A PARTY!!!" said Pinkie

"Yea....a party. *Sigh*" said Rainbow

Applejack looked at Rainbow. "Rainbow is something wrong?" asked Applejack.

"It....it's nothing." said Rainbow.

"Something seems wrong with you."

"Applejack i'm fine, really."

Applejack then glared at Rainbow, she needed to know, something was troubling her friend. Rainbow then surrendered. "I been having Nightmares of a memory that happen during my filly and teen years."

"You better not be lying partner." said applejack

"*sigh* Have you all heard of the JL-4 incident?"

to everypony, this seemed new. Rainbow mentioning one of the Crime cases. "I think i know that case. It was in the newspapers. why does that bother ya?"

Suddenly Fluttershy let out a horrified gasp. she remembered that incident. "R....Rainbow.... you don't mean the....." she said shakily.

"The incident that i was a victim in? The one with my father commiting Child Abuse,  Assault, and Battery on me. that's the one."

now, Everypony was shocked. "WHAT!!!!!" they shouted

Applejack went up to Rainbow. "Ya mean to tell us, that you are the Victim of the Case? How long have you been hiding this?"

"Couple years."

"What...what ever happen your father?" ask Rarity who was shaking.

"after me and shy finished flight school, Shy kept her promise to inform the Police about whats been happening. they came to my house and arrested my father, before they did, he knocked me out. i woke up in the hospital and Shy was there. She says i have to stand in court. i couldn't because of my dad, he would do something to me if i did. so i went to the Canterlot Court House, i told shy to take my place and give my testimony, I even told the Prosecution that I won't stand in the court when my Dad is in there. the prosecuter agreed that it was for safety. so i Gave Fluttershy my whole testimony to give to the court. 30 minutes later me and shy were sitting in the lobby when a officer came by. he said My dad got a Guilty verdict for Attempted Murder, Child abuse, Child endangerment, Assualt, and Domestic battery. He was also charged with Murder because he also killed Somepony. after that i was forced lived with fluttershy under law. as for my dad, he was given both live and death in prision."

Twilight and Rainbows friends were tearing up. They felt sorry for Rainbow, she had dealed with a pony who tormented her and threaten to kill her. They saw in Rainbow that she is Living in Fear. "Wh...Why would a Gentlecolt do that to their own daughter?" Rarity said.

"Ah...ah am speachless. did your mother know?"

"She did, but my dad lied to the divorce court saying she is a unfit parent."

"Well i'm glad that jerk is in Jail, he deserved the death sentence. he shall rot in the home of the devil pony." said pinkie.

"Uh...Rainbow. have you been fixing your life at all after this? if you don't mind me asking" said Fluttershy

Rainbow shook her head.

"I'm helping Rainbow fix her life and start a new one. i'm also using that one spell on her that will help her relax and let go of the memory, when she remembers it."

"that's a good thing Twilight, ah hope you help Rainbow rebuild her Life."

"Well me and Rainbow should be leaving, we are gonna be at the Library planning a date."

"Well, take care you two." said Fluttershy.

Rainbow and Twilight Waved goodbye to their friends. They thend headed their way back to the Library to plan a date. They were gonna have a good time planning and Rainbow was eager for it.

Canterlot

In Canterlot, Princess Celestia was seen in the throne. She was Talking to her sister. They were mainly talking about the Escape Prisoner.

"So you don't know who escaped Tia? Luna asked

"I'm not sure who it is but it serious."

"Did you check his background?"

"I did, his background has both child abuse and child endangerment in it."

Celestia was thinking hard. she was trying to figure out who the escapee is. She was thinking to herself. she know that the suspect had a Serious background to end him in a Solitary Prison. Suddenly she remembered. What she remembered is that The suspect was the Suspect in the JL-4 Incident. "Oh no." said Celestia

"Tia?"

"I need to have Twilight and Rainbow Dash to come here tomorrow. i have to send a letter to spike tomorrow."

"What sis?"

"It's Rainbow Flare, he's the escapee."

Luna gasped in horror. Rainbow Flare is the one from JL-4, he was Rainbows Father. "What does this mean sis?"

"It means Rainbow Flare is gonna get revenge on Rainbow dash."

Luna was now scared now. a Rainbow Flare, is going to get revenge on his own daughter. "What's your plan."

"I'll tell you in the morning."

With that Celestia went to her Study, and began Writing a letter to Twilight. she needs to get Rainbow to safety and she knows who the best pony is to protect Rainbow.
