Rebuilding a Rainbow

The next day, Rainbow was seen flying in the air. She was still in pain by the sudden memories of her past. To Rainbow, Twilight was helping her out, She offered to preform the spell frequently to help Rainbow relax and clear her mind from the memory. Now Rainbo was approching the Liabrary. She landed and knocked on the door. Twilight then answered the door. "Hey Rainbow Dash." Twilight greeted with a kiss.

"Hey Twi. are you ready to spend the day with me?"

"Saddly Rainbow, we have to put that on hault."

"What. Why? i thought you loved me."

"Rainbow, come in i'll explain."

Rainbow nodded and came in. She followed Twilight to the kitchen . "I need you to look at this." Twilight said as she pushed a unrolled scroll towards Rainbow. Rainbow took note that it was a scroll from the Princess. she then began to read as Twilight was making Coffee for them.

I need to Speak to you both in Canterlot immediately

Something came up and it deals with Rainbows safety

Please come to Canterlot, my Guards will meet you at the Train Station

Princess Celestia

Rainbow then looked at Twilight. She was curious. Princess Celestia mentioned something about Rainbows Safety, Rainbow was worried. "Is...is this a joke Twi? If it is, it ain't funny." said Rainbow.

"Rainbow, its not a joke.

Rainbow sighed, and looked a Twilight. She knew that this was serious and Princess Celestia was going to explain more. Twilight then put her coffee cup on the table and gave Rainbow a cup of coffee and a donut. Rainbow couldn't help but smile. She knew Twilight was trying to help her overcome the memory and rebuild her life, but at the same time she knew she also wanted to be by Rainbows side and prove Rainbows father wrong with her. Rainbow took a sip of her coffee and a bite of her donut and smiled at Twilight. "Rainbow we will be taking the train to Canterlot soon, so make sure you finish up. we don't want to make the princess worry."

"Wait, don't we need money for the train?"

"Well, since i'm a princess and you are coming with me, i get a Cheap discount. it's kinda hard to explain."

Rainbow nodded and she finished her remaining bites of her donut and finished her coffee. She then got up and came to twilight and hugged her, and gave her a kiss on the lips. "Twi, i'm not gonna lie, but you are really beautiful. I really love you." Rainbow murmured.

Twilight blushed and kissed rainbow back. "Thank you Rainbow, I Love you too. now how about we get ready to go to Canterlot?"

Rainbow nodded and walked with Twilight to the door, as they open the door they saw their friends outside. "Well howdy there you two, are ya both ready to go on the picnic with us?"

"AJ, i'm sorry but there has been a change of plans."

"What?"

Twilight then walked up. "We been asked by Celestia to go to Canterlot."

"Well why didn't ya tell us?"

"When i mean we, i mean me and Rainbow Dash only."

"what do you mean, if you mind me asking?" said Fluttershy

"Apparently it's dealing with Rainbows safety. Can't explain now." said Twilight.

There friends then nodded and proceeded off. Rainbow and Twilight headed towards the Train Station and Twilight payed the royal discount for Train Tickets for her and Rainbow. they then boarded the train and it went on its way to Canterlot.

Train Ride

On the Train, Rainbow and Twilight were sitting next to each other. Rainbow couldn't help but smile at Twilight. Twilight did the same thing and she touched Rainbows hoof, making her blush. "So, Rainbow, How do you feel? You know, about us being together?" Twilight asked

Rainbow then looked at Twilight. "To me, it feels great. basically, I will admit, i've been a fillyfooler for my whole life. But to be honest, my dad has always been telling me in a harsh manner that I would never find another mare to love me. I guess i proved one thing wrong that he said to me. it's because of you Twi."

Twilight was touched. Rainbows words were so bold and heartwarming. Twilight then slid next to Rainbow and press her cheek by Rainbows cheek. "That's so nice of you Rainbow. I'll admit i'm touched." Twilight replied. Twilight then gave Rainbow a kiss on the lips. To them they didn't even care if it was in public. suddenly the intercom wne ton.

"Now approaching Canterlot Train station."

Twilight and Rainbow looked at eachother. They both smiled at one another. Rainbow then realized that she wasn't remembering the memory right now, it was like Twilight manage to calm her down. "Well i guess we're here" Twilight said smiling warmly at Rainbow."

"I guess we are."

Canterlot Palace

Throne Room

In the Throne room, Celestia was waiting patiently for Twilight and Rainbow to arrive. The door the the Throne room open and Twilight and Rainbow came walking in., "Princess Celestia, we came as fast as we can. so whats the deal with Rainbows safety?" said Twilight who was giving a bow along with Rainbow Dash.

"Are you prepare to here this Rainbow?"

Rainbow sighed and looked at the princess, she knew this was bad news. "I am." she replyed

Celestia then turned and Luna came. "It seems that we have bad news. According to a report, a prisoner at the Manehattan Solitary Prison has escaped and is on the loose."

"What does this have to do with my safety?"

"Rainbow, how long has it been since you last saw your father."

"Uh... i believe 4-5 years. But what does.........WAIT? You can't be serious? are you saying...."

"Yes Rainbow. Your father, Rainbow Flare has broken out of prison."

This hit Rainbow Really hard. She felt faint and pain. she was pale as a Ghost Pony. "H....how did you...."

"I deducted that he was the escapee, to make sure I was right, i had a messenger go to the solitary prision, and get a direct copy of the prisoner roll call list. I got the copy today and my deduction was right, Rainbow Flare did escape."

Rainbow was now scared. She knew this was bad, very very bad. her neckless then turned Black and Twilight noticed, it was black but what was worse was that Rainbow was shivering in fear. "What does this mean?" Twilight asked her mentor.

"It means Rainbow is not safe right now. It means now i have to put Rainbow in the protection program."

"The what now?"

"It means Rainbow has to be with someone that can protect her until further notice."

Rainbow realized that Celestia was right, She needs to get safety from her father. She was scared who she might pick. She wanted Twilight to protect her because she vowed to help her start a new life. "What do you suggest?" Rainbow ask shakily.

"Well... i'm not sure. what do you think Twilight."

Twilight thought hard, she knew Rainbow was in danger to her father. Suddenly she hit an idea,  she Knew who can protect her. "Well, how about if she lives with me until her father is recaptured. That way she has nothing to fear."

Celestia thought for a moment, she didn't realize her student and Equestrias new princess would be up to it. she then whispered to Luna and they began discussing about it. Moments passed and Celestia looked at Twilight. Twilight was scared that it be rejected. "Twilight.....You are granted the authority to have Rainbow reside with you under the protection law." Celestia said with a smile

Rainbow couldn't help but smile. She knew Twilight was trying to help her. she walked to Twilight and smiled. "That's not a bad idea. I could be able to live with that." Rainbow said as she put a wing over Twilight who was smiling and blushing.

"I see that my sister was right. You are dating and love eachother."

"You are right on that Princess."

Princess Celestia knew that Twilight wanted to help protect Rainbow until her father was recaptured. Celestia agreed to allow her student to watch over Rainbow for the giving time until further notice. "Rainbow do you want to know why we have to do this?" ask Celestia

"Why?"

"Rainbow, we asked a Prisoner what he knew about your father. basically he stated that your father vowed to break out of prison and get revenge on you. according to the prisoner, he also stated your father seemed like he wants to murder you as of his revenge."

"What?"

"We are going to have a search go on. you have to be with Twilight until further notice. we can't risk having you unguarded when your derange criminal father's on the loose."

Twilight and Rainbow then nodded in agreement and knew this was serious. Celestia then ended the meeting with the two and left. Luna walked up to Rainbow who still had the look of fear in her eye. "Don't worry, we are gonna have your father taken back into custody. There's nothing to fear." Luna said softly.

Rainbow smiled and looked at Twilight. "We should head back to Ponyville now. thanks Luna, i hope you recapture him. Oh, are we able to tell our friends, you know so they can know i have to be in safety for a while?"

Luna thought for a moment, she knew that her friends may need to know about the situation. even if Rainbow told them about the JL-4 incident and how it ended. She decided that Rainbows friends needed to know right now, but not at the current given time. "You should maybe wait. I don't think right now is a good time. you told your friends about the JL-4 incident which we are okay with it. Just give it a couple of days." said Luna

The two mares agreed and said goodbye to Luna, and left the throne room. they then exited the Palace and head towards the Train Station. Twilight knew that this was extremely serious and Rainbow needed to be save with her for the current time. They then boarded the Train and it setted off to Ponyville.

On the Train Rainbow was seen with tears flowing down. Twilight looked at Rainbow and she knew that this had hit her really hard, she knew the news was terrifying to Rainbow but didn't know it was gonna hurt her this bad. She saw the neckless and it was gray, meaning she is hurt by the news. This is serious. Rainbow is seriously hurt and is frighten. I can't help seeing her like this. First her life was destroyed, then she is suddenly remembering the JL-4 incident, and now her father is out to kill her? I need to protect Rainbow. She needs me more then ever. thought Twilight. Twilight then put a hoof on Rainbows shoulder. Rainbow looked at Twilight who was looking worried. Rainbow couldn't help but hug Twilight. Twilight noted that Rainbow is severely hurt from the news. she pulled her lover in and hugged her while Rainbow was letting her tears flow. "It's okay Rainbow, It's gonna be okay." Twilight murmred painfuly.

"Twi.....I'm scared. I DON'T WANT TO DIE. I"m to young to die."

"R...Rainbow"

"This can't be happening, why? Why did this happen."

"Rainbow, please, remain calm."

"But.. *sniff* Twi..."

"Look Rainbow. you are not gonna die, you are under my supervision while they track your dad done. I know it hurts you badly and you're scared. But Rainbow, I'm here for you,"

Rainbow was feeling like she was going to pass out, she can't believe this is happening. The Train arrived at ponyville and Twilight and Rainbow got off the train to meet there friends. "Well howdy there sugar......OH CELESTIA WHAT'S WRONG WITH RAINBOW!" Applejack screamed.

"I can't reveal what we heard. i...."

"Twilight tell us"

"Applejack..."

"TELL US NOW!"

"I CAN"T, YOU WILL BE SCARED AS BADLY AS RAINBOW IS."

Suddenly they saw Rainbow she was shaking badly. She then fell down on the ground and was out cold. "I need to get her to the library."

Their friends knew this was serious. "Only if you explain what happen Twi." Replyed Applejack

"ugh. FIne."

Twilight put Rainbow on her back and gallop  fast to the library keeping rainbow on her back. her friends followed. they then arrived at the library and Twilight put Rainbow on the couch. she checked if she was breathing. she was relieved that her friend was breathing but only was out cold due to the news.

2 hours later

Rainbows vision was fading in and out as she opened her eyes. As her vision became clear she realized she was at the library. "Hey Rainbow." said a familiar voice.

Rainbow looked and she saw Twilight by her side, and saw her friends behind her, looking terrified and frightened. "T...Twi. What happened." Rainbow asked.

"You were badly hurt and frighten by the news about your father, it hit you hard, and you went out cold at the train station."

Rainbow was shivering, the memory was coming back what she heard from Celestia. "you....told our friends?"

"I had to Rainbow, when you passed out like that, Applejack demanded the information out of me, are friends now know what is going on."

"Rainbow....ah can't believe this happened." Applejack said shakily

"I can't believe your father is plotting to murder you as his Revenge. they should of gave him the death sentence." said fluttershy who was freaked out.

Rainbow sat up and pulled Twilight into a hug. she was still scared, tears were rolling down her face now. "Rainbow don't worry, I will protect you. I do love you alot, but please, d...don't let this bug you this much." Twilight said who was now crying. The others were looking at the two hugging each other, they were badly hurt. Pinkie knew that a party wouldn't help this situation at all for Rainbow. Their friends decided to leave Rainbow and Twilight alone and be on their way. Spike decided to give the two the space they need and go be with Rarity for the day. As they left, Twi couldn't help but feel sorry for Rainbow. She pressed her lips against Rainbows and Rainbow did the same. As they kissed Twilight could tell that Rainbow wanted to kiss to feel better. their tongues then touched and Rainbow couldn't help but moan. time went by and after 4 minutes, they seperated a looked at each other, breathing warmly. "Feeling better now Rainbow?" Twilight asked.

Rainbow couldn't help but smile, her tears were gone and the pain feeling of what she heard was going a way. "I feel a little better Twi." Rainbow soflty said.

Twilight looked at the clock and it was only 2pm. Twilight hugged Rainbow and whispered in her ear. "I do love you Rainbow. I don't want anything to happen to you." Twilight murmured.

Twilight got up and went into the kitchen, and Told Rainbow to wait on the couch. Rainbow waited for Twilight to come back, she was wondering what she planned on doing. Twilight then came walking in with some lunch and root beer. The two then began to enjoy their lunch and having some rootbeer. after they ate Twilight took the dishes back to the kitchen, and came back 2 minutes later. Twilight saw Rainbow smiling st her, she Knew that Rainbow was feeling better. She came to Rainbows side and but a hoof around her. Rainbow then realized that she was supposed to be at The acedemy 2 hours ago. "Uh Twilight, you mind coming with me to the wonderbolts academy?" Rainbow Dash asked

Twilight looked at Rainbow curiously. "Why?"

"I was supposed to be there 2 hours ago after we did are morning date. but you know, with the whole news and me passing out, i need to speak to spitfire."

Twilight knew where Rainbow was getting at, she also notted that Rainbow was fine, but had the depressed eye look. "Lets go to spitfire. but first you need these to block your eyes." Twilight went to her room and gave Rainbow a pair of shades to hide her eyes. the two got up and headed towards the door, they took off in the air and head towards the academy.

Wonderbolts academy

The two arrived at the main building of the Wonderbolts Academy. they then continued walking through the halls and they then approach Spitfires office. Rainbow then knocked on the door. "Come in." said Spitfiire.

Rainbow and Twilight entered and Spitfire was not happy at Rainbow. "Why are you late? you always show up early but why, why are you arriving late?" spitfire demanded

"Rainbow, say what you told me you were going to tell spitfire." said Twilight

"*Sigh* I'm sorry, but i'm afraid i'm gonna be taking a leave of Absence."

Spitfire looked at Rainbow. "Denied."

"Spitfire, why?" Twilight asked

"It's because, i'm restricted to give Leave of Absense to her or anypony without reason. even you were spacing out during exercises. that means i can't."

Rainbow then removed Twilights shades from her face, Revealing Rainbows hurt and depressed eyes. Spitfire look dumbstruck, Rainbow looked like she was in serious pain. "i may need an explanation."

Sometime later

after Rainbow finished explaining to Spitfire about what was going on from the reason for spacing out at the academy to the unexpected news, Spitfire was speechless, she was at a serious loss of words. Rainbow, her top flyer in the academy, being hunted Down by a derange criminal that was put in Prison many years ago. Spitfire now realized this was serious. She couldn't have Rainbow in the academy, thats the first place he would look. "I will grant you the leave of Absense. i'm sorry this had to happen to you Rainbow. it...It's just shocking that this is happening. ....My father, Golden Spark, was the prosecutor for that Trial. so you were the victim of JL-4." said Spitfire. Twilight and Rainbow Dash were shocked to learn, that Spitfires father was the Prosecuter for Rainbow Flares trial. They decided not to go further on the topic.

"You now see how much this is hurting my marefriend... Opps." said Twilight

"Well well, you're Rainbows marefriend. well i can't argue about that since you are a ruler of equestria. i also can't argue on the current situation about the standard safety for Rainbow. you been granted permission for your leave of Absence."

"Thanks Spitfire."

Rainbow and Twilight then left spitfires office, they the left the building and took off and headed towards the library. Rainbow knew she needs to be staying low for a while until they recapture her father.

Ponyville Library

3 hours later

Back at the Library, Rainbow and Twilight were seen reading the daring do book. This was making Rainbow happy, She was okay with living with Twilight until then. as they reached then end of the current chapter, Twilight put the bookmark in and set it to the side. she looked at Rainbow who was looking at her and smiled. "How you feeling right now Rainbow?" Twilight asked Rainbow dash.

"Still a little hurt that my dad escaped from Prison and is out to kill me."

Twilight hugged Rainbow really tight. "Rainbow, don't be afraid. I'm here to protect you, you are gonna be living with me and Spike for some time. I will protect you no matter what."

The words Twilight said were beautiful to Rainbow, she kissed Twilight on the cheek. Twilight couldn't help but chuckle. She then went in the kitchen and got the dinner she had Spike get for them. She came out of the kitchen with a box of Pizza. Rainbow and Twillight enjoyed their dinner and Talked about the plans for their date they are replanning. They finished one of the boxes of pizza but decided to save the others. Rainbow headed towards the bathroom to take her shower while Twilight was cleaning up. Spike then walked up to Twilight. "How long does Rainbow need to live with us? I know her dad is loose, but how long?" Asked Spike

"Spike, it maybe gonna be weeks, or months that Rainbow is gonna stay with us, it''s the Protection program law, Since i have been given the authority to have Rainbow live with me due to me offering her safety, i have to look out for her and protect her incase her father shows up here in Ponyville."

Spike took it in and went on his way to go to bed. Minutes later Rainbow Dash came downstairs and saw Twilight, who was sitting on the couch. "So...where am i gonna sleep?" Rainbow asked.

"Why, you get to sleep with me."

Rainbow smiled at Twilight. despite Twilight allowing Rainbow to stay at the library, Rainbow gave Twilight a kiss. It was now 10pm and the two decided to hit the hay. As they got in bed Twilight looked at Rainbow. "I hope you are alright being away from your house for a certain time."

Suddenly something hit Rainbow. "Oh crud, i forgot Tank. Tomorrow i need to get Tank."

"I will go with you." said Twilight calmly.

Rainbow and Twilight then gave each other a kiss and then fell asleep. Tomorrow was going to a new day for them and they planned to hang out. They bothed prayed that Rainbows dad to get captured.
