Derpy Hooves. Yep. That's... that's me. I woke up.
I had a nightmare. I didn't like it.
I got up to see my baby girl, my little muffin. I walked into the hallway and looked at the cute little painting she made.
It was a small, dinky petunia in our front yard that had been there for years. It was such a pretty, hot pink. I told her one time that it reminded me of her.
She was so happy.
I was happy that she was. I walked downstairs to the bathroom to brush my teeth. That's why I got up. I needed to clean myself.
I stepped in front of the mirror and turned on the light. My blonde hair was a little messy. It was always messy. But that's okay. I don't need my hair to be straight if it's clean.
I stepped into the bathtub and turned on the water. I grabbed the bar of soap and ran my hooves through my hair and it made bubbles in the bathtub, like my cutie mark.
Some ponies don't have cutie marks. Scootaloo doesn't have a cutie mark.
But she has a tail like me. I washed my tail and stared at it. I saw my bubbly cutie mark again.
The bathtub started overflowing!
I turned off the water and went to the kitchen to grab a mop. That's why I got up, after all. The house was messy!
I saw a box of cereal next to the sink. Oh boy, was I hungry! I got a cup so I could drink some water before I poured my cereal.
After I was done with my cup, I just poured my cereal in. I grabbed my cup again and saw it was full of cereal. Woops!
I poured the soggy cereal into the sink.
I need to buy more food. There's nothing in the fruit bowl and the cereal box is empty now! I grabbed my coin purse and saddlebag off of the shelf.
I was in the market today! There was so many toys for my baby muffin. She was starting school in an hour, after all. I bought her some pencils so that she could write. She could write, of course. Her mommy couldn't, but that's okay! As long as my little baby can do what mommy can't, mommy is happy.
I went home and opened the door.
"Dinky! Your school is today!" I told her that she had school today.
My little unicorn walked down the stairs.
"Mommy, the bathroom is wet," my baby muffin pouted. She shouldn't pout. "I can't brush my teeth."
"I'm sorry, my lil muffin," I said sorry to my baby, "I'll go fly in and get your toothbrush!"
I flew in and grabbed her toothbrush and gave it to her.
"Use the sink in the kitchen, Dinky," I told her about the sink in the ktichen.
"Mommy, there's cereal in the sink and a mop on the table,"
I was sad. Dinky's mommy was stupid.
"I'll fix it, baby. It's okay," It wasn't okay.
"Mommy, do we have anything I can bring for lunch?"
I looked at the empty fruit bowl and the empty cereal box by the trash can.
"No... Mommy messed up again," I pouted. It was okay for me to pout. "I brought you pencils. They're pe- pearly- per..." I looked at the floor. It was easier than trying to say it.
"Periwinkle?"
"Yes, baby... peary-sprinkle... I left them on the table, muffin."
"Mommy, I already have 6 of them."
"I'm sorry, baby. You go to school. Mommy will fix everything."
I just looked at the floor as my baby went to school.
