A Hooves-Down Better Day

I first arrived in this dimension about a month ago. It had all happened so fast, I can barely remember anything pertaining to the events that led me here, to Equestria. All I remember is written here, in my diary. My name is Lavender Moon; however I cannot remember what my old name was. Funnily, what I do remember is that I was human at one point, and my life was awful. I’d had little success making friends, and my home life was rather somber. The turning point in my life came when I was visited in the night by a strange blue pony with a crescent moon imprinted into her side. She called herself “Luna”, and explained that she was a princess from a place called “Equestria”, and that if I so chose, I could leave my life in the human world and enter theirs. I wasn't meant to be human, that I know for sure. I was always awkward on my feet, and I never seemed to be good at anything. So, I chose to leave the world I once belonged to, and start a new life here. And that’s where I currently live. My name is Lavender Moon. I’m a unicorn; I guess it makes sense, since I've been really clumsy since I was born. My coat is lavender purple, but I have pink stripe-like marks running down my sides. My face is accented with a five-point star sitting just above the bridge of my nose, and I will sometimes slip on a knee brace on my right leg. My hair is jet black, with streaks of purple, blue and pink. The thing that shocked me the most were my eyes. In my human life, they were once brown, but they now resemble a deep royal purple. I guess you could say that purple is definitely my color.
