Chapter 4
“Ugh my head.” said Flower Power as he got up from the floor and looked around his environment. “How did I get outside, could’ve sworn I was in the palace this morning?”

“Flowers. Don’t freak out, I’ve been in this situation.” said Spike

“Spike, where are you?” he then looked down and saw a purple dog tugging on what he thought were his rear hooves. “Spike!? You’re a dog.”

“Hey you changed too.” said Spike as he told Flower Power to look into the puddle on the floor to see his reflection. Flower Power was surprised to see what he has become.

“Whoa. what happened to my hooves? It’s like they have hooves on themselves.” said Flower Power

“Those are called hands and fingers for you front and in your rear they’re called feet and toes. Twilight told me that this body you’re in are a species called humans, you have similar aspects to those of prime apes, so you must stand upright.” said Spike

So with the help of Spike helping him to catch up to speed, he stood up to inspect himself. “O.k. Arms, check, Legs, check, mane in now called hair, snout is now a nose, pony tail is now gone and fur is too.” said Flowers and he began walking around in a circle. “Movement is normal. Eyesight average and hearing is-” just then a bell rang at his ears. “O.k. for now.” he then turned to where the bell came from and saw a big building in its direction.

“My guess is that class has just started.” said Spike as he told Flower Power to follow him into the building. “Anyways this is a school where young humans come to learn the basics how to survive live after school and here is where the principle is.” said Spike as he knocked on the door for Flower Power

“Come in the door’s unlocked.”

Flower Power opened the door and saw the principle talking with someone else. “Princess?!”

“Princess?” said the principle. She then looked down and saw a familiar face to her “Spike the dog is that you?” said the principle as she went to pet him. “What are you doing here again?”

“You see we got trapped here because we were trying to catch a gem that went to your world. Anyways Flower Power, this is Principle Celestia and her sister Vice Principle Luna. Principle this is my friend Flower Power” said Spike

“Oh, sorry about that, it’s just that you look like the rulers of our world in human form, but still pleased to meet you both.” said Flower Power as they shook his hand

“So tell us, do you know Twilight Sparkle?” said Celestia

“And if so, how is she” asked Luna

“She, fine and I’ll be sure to let her know that you two asked of her.” said Flower Power “Now then I must if you know how to get back to our world?”

The principles took him out to front of the school to face the statue in front. “Well I would imagine this is where you came from.” said Celestia

“But the portal only works during the night and on a full moon, which is bad because last night was the last full moon for now.” said Luna
“Well how long ‘til the next full moon?” asked Flower Power

They went back to the school into Luna’s office to look at the calendar. “Looks like the next one with be at least two months from now. Sorry for your luck you two” said Luna

“Two months?!” said the both of them

“Don’t worry, it’ll be fine, I’m sure spike’s friends will lend you two a helping hand around here, but you’ll have to wait for lunch period or after school to find them. You two can grab a meal from the Cafeteria if you’re hungry.” said Celestia.

The two were outside the front entrance with lunch trays with them as they were eating. “Well looks like we’re going to have get comfortable with these bodies for now Spike.” said Flower Power with grief. “So your friends, what are they like?”

“They’re our friends from Equestria except in human form and also without Twilight.” said Spike “So I’m sure you’ll get along with them greatly.” said Spike

Flower Power and Spike got bored. Spike decided to take a nap until the after School bell rang and Flower Power looked around some more. He then took a closer look at the front entrance and saw that it looked incomplete.

“That’s weird.” Flower then looked around and saw a cement mixer, bricks, and a blue print of the entrance pushed to the side. “Looks like the workers only come here after school.” he then picked up the blue print to look at and a brick “Might as well to past the time.”
It was time for the bell to ring to dismiss class, students were leaving the school walking passed Flower Power in near completion of the front entrance. As he was about to put on the final brick, someone tapped him on the back.

“Um excuse me but what are doing?” asked the person

“Nothing, just finishing someone’s work.” said Flower Power

“Well, it’s just that it was my job to finish it, but thanks. I usually don’t meet a lot of nice people.” said the person

Just then spike was biting Flower power’s pants to warn him of something and pulled him to his level. “Watch out man, that’s Sunset Shimmer. She almost tried to cause a war and tried to imprison me and Twilight in this world forever.”

“Her?” said Flower Power as he turned to look at her. “She may look like a bad girl but I don’t she could pull that off.”

She overheard them talking about her. “That was the old. Before you and Twilight came along, but after being stuck with construction duty, it changed me; I just wish people could see that too.” said Sunset Shimmer.

“Well I think you seem like a good person now. The name’s Flower Power and since you know spike, you must know where I come from too.” said Flowers

“Equestria too? Yeah I know, I was banished from there, but I made a new life here.” said Sunset Shimmer

Soon Flower Power and Sunset Shimmer got to know each other a little more and they made their way to a café where Sunset Shimmer got him a cup of coffee. “So what are you here for?” asked Sunset Shimmer.

“We’re stuck here until that portal opens again and with no place to stay.” said Flower Power

Just then, a girl walk to them to asked if they can see Spike, so they handle Spike to her. “Spikey-wikey is that you?”

“Rarity!” said Spike as she nuzzled her.

“Rarity!?” said Flower Power

“Oh. So sorry, my name is Rarity, and where might I ask where did you find Spike?” said Rarity as she put him down. “Last time I remember, he went back to his world with Twilight.”

“He’s with me, I’m a friend of twilight.” said Flower Power as Rarity called in her friends to see Spike again. Introductions were out of the way and Flower Power couldn’t believe he just met his human form of his friends. It soon became night after they were finished with their questions for him.

“So do you a place to crash?” asked Rainbow Dash

“Spike could stay with me if he wants to.” said Rarity

“Yes!” said Spike. “I mean… sounds like fun.”

“I could let you stay with me…” said Sunset Shimmer “That is if you want to.”

“… I think I might take you up on that.” said Flower Power as he shook everyone’s hand goodbye. “Now remember Spike. Stay out of trouble.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll be alright.” said Spike as he left with Rarity

Flower Power and Sunset Shimmer went to her home, one kitchen, one living room, one bathroom. “O.k. I’ll set up a guest bed in my room.” said Sunset Shimmer

“Actually if it’s alright with you, I’ll sleep on the couch for tonight. I just kind of find it weird for two strangers of different genders to sleep in the same room.” said Flower Power. Sunset Shimmer agreed to his proposal. She soon went to sleep as Flower Power stayed up pondering on what going on back in Equestria, what will happen tomorrow, and other questions.

The sun came and Flower Power and Sunset Shimmer both were changed into new clothes and walked to the school, Sunset Shimmer led both Flower Power and Spike to the library to pass the time there until lunch. Flower Power read books on how to operate a mysterious machine called the computer; eventually he figured out how to work it and started to browse the internet.

“Haaaaannnnnnngh” said Spike

“What’s wrong with you?” asked Flower Power

“I torn apart by two loves.” said spike. “Flowers, which do you think likes me more, our Rarity, or this Rarity?”

It was silence for a while as Flower Power thought about it. “Um………….. I think you’re better off with our Rarity?”

Spike and Flowers soon got bored and decided to roam the school campus, the soon found themselves in a room with weights and sacks hangs from the ceiling. “This must be a gym room.” said Spike

Flower was curious about all the training equipment so he decided to try it out for himself. He soon found himself to be sweaty from using the equipment as someone open the door. It was another teenage boy with blue hair carrying a guitar case on one hand.

“What are you doing?” asked the boy.

“I was just trying out this sack.” said Flower Power

“… Do you think you can come with me?” said the boy

Flower Power and Spike followed him to the next door where there was an empty arena surrounded by seats and other teenagers in the arena.

“Hey guys I found someone who might be want to join.” said the boy. “By the way, my name is Brad.” he then looked down and saw Spike. “Spike! is that you?”

“Hey Brad.” said Spike

“How’s Twilight and do you know this guy?” said Brad

“She’s fine and also this is Flower Power.” said Spike. Just then two other boys joined into the conversation.

“So you’re the one who help us finish the front entrance.” said the boy. “I’m snips and this is Snails.”

“Nice to meet you Flower Power.” said Snails as he shook his hand. “and this here is the Canterlot high boxing team.” Last to enter the conversation was the coach. “This is our coach, he graduated last year but volunteered to coach this year’s team.”

“Nice to meet you sir and your name is?” asked Flower Power.

“Big Macintosh.” said the coach.

“So are you in the team too Brad?” asked Flower Power

“Nah I’m just here because I have a free period.” said Brad “So you want to join? I saw you in that room. You were training so hard and yet you didn’t look tired. They could use a guy like you” said Brad

After thinking it through Flower Power decided to join the team. “But, I’m only here for three months.”

“That’s o.k.” said Snips

“This season’s short because there are only a few other schools that have a boxing program.” said Snails

Just then the doors opened and a fancy looking teenager came rushing in to talk to Big Macintosh

“This is an outrage!” said the boy “How could you let this brute join the team, I have the power, finesse, and looks for the team and you chose him!?”

“Who’s the spoiled brat?” said Spike as the others laughed at spike’s comment

“You mutt, may call me Prince BlueBlood.” said the boy “Nephew of the school’s principle and I demand entry to your team.”

“Sorry Prince, we can only have three and Snips and Snails asked first.” said Brad

“And what of me? I can tell my aunt to cut all funds to this sport.” chuckled BlueBlood.

“I think I have just as much as a chance as you sir.” said Flower Power

“Hah. You a commoner?” said BlueBlood

“And you the spoiled Brat.” said Flower Power

“There’s only one way to settle this.” said Big Macintosh as he brought out two sets of boxing gloves.

“Very well.” said BlueBlood “Two weeks from now, we shall box for the last entry. Any objections?”

“None here. Challenge accepted. “ said Flower Power as he shook his hand, but BlueBlood just simply left him hanging

Big Macintosh stopped Flower Power and offered him to train him in boxing. Flower Power agreed to start the next morning. They all left and afterschool, Flower Power to his plan to his new friends, who supported him on his choice. The next day came and Flower Power was wide awake when Big Mac came by their doorstep. Just as he was about to leave, Sunset Shimmer stopped Flower Power and gave him a pink sweater.

“You might get cold in the morning.” said Sunset Shimmer

“Thanks for looking for me, I‘ll see you afterschool.” said Flower Power as he left. Big mac took him to that world’s Sweet Apple Acres where he took him to the barn to show him the workout gear he had when he was a member. He then handed him so gloves as he put on some block pads to work on his punches.

Flower power went through rigorous training with Big Mac. He did much weight lifting, speed punch bagging, endurance training, and morning run when chasing Big Mac across town on his bicycle. The day finally came. The gymnasium was filled with students wanting to see who would win the match. Flower Power even had a small cheer team from the mane five, Spike, the other members and Sunset Shimmer. On one corner was Flower Power with his coach and on the other BlueBlood with his.

“O.k. Big Mac any last words?” said Flower Power

“Nope.” said Big Mac as the bell rung to enter the middle of the ring “Good luck.”

O.k. I was a clean fight.’ said the referee. “No low blows, no rabbit punches, and all my decisions are final.” said the Referee as he lifted his arm. “Ready…… Fight!”

Round one begun and Flower Power had an advantage thanks to his training, BlueBlood did got some good punches on him but by the time round one was over, BlueBlood was more winded than Flower Power.

“I can’t lose to this commoner.” said BlueBlood to himself. He then secretly put some rocks in his gloves to give his punches more impact force.

Round two start and Flower Power was still good until BlueBlood got a hit on him. With the extra weight, Flower Power was starting to see blurry and could only defend from his punches. When the bell rung, Flower Power got to his corner to talk with his coach.

“Big Mac, how did he get stronger after a few minutes?” said Flower Power

Big mac looked to the other side to point out what BlueBlood was doing.

“He’s cheating.” said Flower Power “We got to tell the ref.”

“Nope.” said Big Mac “You win this match. Show him that hard training will always come out on top.”

“You really believe in me?” said Flower Power.

“Eeyup.” the bell rung for the finally round.

Round three, BlueBlood was coming in strong, but with Big Mac’s words of inspiration Flower Power came back fighting. Flower Power started to make consecutive punches and eventually BlueBlood lost his steam.

“This can’t be happening.” said BlueBlood

Flower Power finished him off with a signature move he was working on. The Starswirl punch. He sky uppercutted BlueBlood and he tumbled backwards and fell off of the ring.

T.K.O.!!!

The crowd cheered for Flower Power as Big Mac lifted him up from his feet for his victory as Flower Power waved to the audience.
“You did it.” said Big Mac “Welcome to the team.”
