elemental journey

I disembarked at the Canterlot station and I got quite a few weird looks from ponies around, mostly from the nobles though. I was hungry so I decided to stop to eat somewhere after getting an apointement with a princess. I went to the castle and talked to the secretary for an apointement.

"Oh Celestia! what are you! the secretary exclaimed

• Well my name is Elemental Eye and I am an elemental watcher. I would like to schedule an apointement with one of the princesses.

• Motives and times?

• I am here to introduce myself and prevent any future misunderstanding with the princesses. Any time would be fine though.

• You can meet princess Luna at 10 p.m.

• I'll be there."

With that done I searched a place to eat and I found a place called Haystack. I took a veggie burger with hay fries and quite enjoyed it to be honest even though I missed meat. I found an hotel that was cheap but had nice room and breakfast. I walked around a bit and exploring the city. I also bought some supply including a bag, a catteen and some dried fruits for snacks. I then made a mental note to have clothes made by someone when I had enough money. After a bit more fooling around and doing little pranks on nobles with my power (showering a noble trying to flirt with someone is hilarious by the way) it was time to meet princess Luna. Oh boy that was going to be interesting.

I arrived at the castle 10 min early to be polite and waited near the court room for my audience. It turn out that princesses have a good sense of time, because at 10 p.m. exactly I was called inside. Saying that the court room was impressive was like saying the sun was hot. It was clearly on the theme of night with princess Luna sitting on the throne. I bowed down to princess Luna while introducing myself:

" My name is Elemental Eye and I am most likely the only representative of my race, the elemental watcher. I came to introduce myself to you and your sister and prevent any inccident that may occur from a misunderstanding.

• It his most preventive of thou to come forth and introduce thouself before any problem arrise.

• To be completly honest it is not my only motive. I also came to ask you for help.

• and what may that request be?

• The race that i curently am is in fact a creation of my mind. I used to be something called 'human' before I seemingly died and got sent to this wordl as my creation. My request is to know if you or someone can send me home or if not I would apreciate if I could get a job at the castle.

• We sadly know of no way to return you home. I could provide thou with a place at the castle but we need to know more of thou race before.

• Alright, as I said before, I am an elemental watcher. Elemental watcher are the judge of the elementals, possesing control of the four elements, the ability to combine them and most importantly like all elemental I have eternal life. I am not very powerful in raw magical power but the magic that I have is extremely refined and provide me with near limitless possibility of combinason. If I was powerful enough, I could compress matter to the point of creating a gravity well or a mini black hole. I can also use my control over fire to generate all kind of energy ranging from mecanical to nuclear energy. I cannot however generate matter out of nothing. I can either transform another energy present in the enviromnent around me or I can use up my magic reserve transforming it into the energy I want. Also, my affinity with earth give me increased strengh meaning I can lift up to 3 time my weight.do you have any more question?

• What of the human as thou called them?

-Well, starting with humans in general, we are a sentient specie wich evolved from apes and thus look alot like hairless tall apes. We research advancement through science because our world is devoid of magic. We explored space, went to the moon and invented weapon so powerful that it became banned from use in wars. I personnally come from Quebec wich is situated in Canada. I pride myself in the fact that we are considered peaceful by other country. As for myself as a person, I was a human male which had almost finished his college  and I was living alone. I had and still have a passion for learning anything new which made the other kid isolate me when I was younger. I never gave up and I finally made some friend. I may be useful to you with my knowledge of my world and his technology, notably chemistry. Finally, if I could I would like a job that would allow me to read in my free time and to learn about this world.

• We see. We could give thou a post at the royal librairy. It would allow thou to read and you would have a salary. What do thou say?

• I'd say thank you and ask when do I start?

• we will have to talk to our sister about it and we would like thou to be present if she has any more question for thou. Can thou come tomorrow at noon?

• I will be there.

With this, I took my leave and decided to visit the public library to see if I could borrow books and take them to the hotel. I still got the starefest that I was expecting when I arrived at the library and I went to the counter. I learned, after calming the mare which was behind the counter, that I could take any book I wanted as long as I brought them back withing a week. I borrow around 10 sizable books and brought them back with me to start reading. Even though I was slow at first, because of the strange writing they used, I quickly went back to my usual thousand word per minute. Needless to say that I am a fast reader.  After some reading, I noticed that it was getting late and I went to sleep.
