Melody of Harmony

A funnel of thunder clouds materialized above Cloudsdale and out from them came Discord. His wings flapped and he swooped down near the weather factory to make sure he was in the right place at the right time.

Sure enough, he was.

Taking a closer look, he saw a small cyan filly with a mane in all the colors of the rainbow. Some hairs were springing here and there, but it was clear to see who this rainbow filly was. Even though she didn't have her cutie mark, it was clear to see this was the filly equivalent of Rainbow Dash.

And a bit farther away, there was a yellow filly with luscious, messy light pink mane. The shy appearance ticked his memory and Discord remembered that this shy little pony was none other than Fluttershy.

Filly Fluttershy's small wings struggled and she tried to fly over the cloud ring next to her. She was almost there, almost...

Unfortunatly, the poor little filly tripped and she yelped as she fell.

"Nice job, 'Klutzershy'! They outta ground you permanetly!"

Two male pegasi had happened to fly over. They seemed to laugh like maniacs, and the poor filly Fluttershy blushed in embarassment.

"Ha! My baby brother can fly better than you!" One of them said, making Fluttershy blush even more.

Suddenly, a shadow appeared. It was none other than filly Rainbow herself, standing her ground between the stallions and the mare.

"Leave her alone!" Rainbow Dash's voice rang out throughout Cloudsdale, just like her older equivalent but a bit higher pitched.

"Ooh, what are YOU gonna do, Rainbow Crash?"

"Keep making fun of her and find out!"

The arguing did interest Discord, but it started to bore him. He grew a but drowsy and decided to spice things up a bit. With a snap of his fingers he became a innocent little butterfly, and he flew over to Fluttershy.

"You think you're such a big shot? Why don't you prove it?"

"What do you have in mind?"

And as quickly as the three ponies came, they were gone.

Filly Fluttershy took a step forward to go to the racing line, but stopped dead in her tracks when Discord-butterfly whispered something in her ear: "Hey, I have a little thing to tell you.'

She looked around and yelped in fright, only to see the now transformed into a pegasus Discord, who took her by the hoof and flew over to a quiet spot above the Everfree.

"W-w-who are you?"

"I'm....er...Disc- i mean Chaos! Chaos! That's my name!"

"Uhm...well...Chaos, if that is your name...would you mind telling me what you pulled me over here for..?"

"Ah, but that is a little thing I have to tell you later. But for now..there's something I need to finish."

And with a puff of gray smoke he was gone.

"Ah, that was weird. Where did he go?" Filly Fluttershy wondered, looking around.

Chaos-Discord flew around to find little Dashie. She was training before the race. How cute.

"Hey!" He called.

Dash whirled around and yelled "Watch it, newbie! I'm training here!"

"Training? Aha! Why do you need to train?"

" 'Why do you need to train?' What are you, a baby? I need to train to win against these jerks!"

"Well what if I told you...there was a better way to win than hard work? Would you like that, 'Rainbow Crash'?"
