Melody of Harmony

Rainbow Dash flinched at the sound of the insult. Usually, she could stand it, but now it REALLY started to get on her nerves.

"I don't need your help to win, freak! I'm the greatest flyer in Cloudsdale, no wait, the greatest flyer in all of Equestria!" She yelled, wings fluttering wildly like she was going to fly up and do a sonic rainboom any minute.

"You sure about that?" Discord, still in the form of a pegasus lept up in the air and flew so high he was just a speck of dust from Ponyville's view. He touched the ground to meet a half-angry and half-jealous Dashie.

"How did you-eh, whatever! I'm gonna win with no help at all! No matter how good you think you are! I'm. Going. To. Win." The little pegasus flew off.

Discord narrowed his eyes and frowned. Well, excuse me, soon-to-be ex-Loyalty.

"Um..sir?"

Discord whirled around to see the pink maned shy pony.

"Yes?" Discord tried not to sound annoyed.

"Well, uhm..you see..I uhm...well..er.."

"What is it already?!"

"E-eek! I uhm, well..." Fluttershy took a deep squeaky breath. "MyonepegasusfriendhadtodoaraceandthenI'msupposedtowavetheflagtostartitand..." She panted.

"Wave the flag? A bit harsh, isn't it?"

Fluttershy gave Discord an confused glance. "Excuse me b-but..how is that harsh?"

"You know, considering no one's your friend and so they think they can just give you such a lowly job, unlike what a friend would do."

"I don't quite understand.."

"Ugh.."  Discord felt his hoof hit his face. He felt the powers of chaos start to escape. This worried him, because if too much raw power escaped, he'll turn back into a dragoneques and ruin everything.

Wait that's it. Cutting back to the future, he remembered with just a flick of his wrist he could discord a pony. Why can't he just do that, even though he's a pony?

"You know," Discord purred smoothly, padding around the shy mare, "You are really shy. You gotta change that."

"Sir, I don't know.."

"Oh, let me help with that..." He put his hoof to her head, just as the last of his resistance of chaos energy slipped away.

His wings alit in golden light and the light wrapped around Fluttershy. The light seemed a bit like time, changing.

The light flooded his vision.

When it cleared, there stood a mare with a grayish pink mane and grayish yellow coat. Only one thing was different about the filly's appearance.

Her eyes were the same color of the time dust.

The young mare flew over to the starting line of the race. She took the flag in her mouth and using her wings, snapped in in half, making a huge CRACK sound.

Then she flew over to Dashie's competitors and mouthed go away. Confused, they stepped back.

Then Fluttershy flew over to Dashie.

With a loud SMACK, she smacked Dashie off the cloud.

"There she goes." Fluttershy said silently, with a smile.

"Element of Kindness..,"Discord smiled. "is no more."
