Drifter

I opened the door to step outside but was greeted with a great deal of pain to my head and fell to the floor.  I looked up to see what hit me and only saw an object hit me in the face.  Everything went black.

"Nightshade wake up your going to miss the show."  Said a disembodied voice as I was starting to come too.  I am really starting to get tired of being knocked out and moved and shit its really getting old.  But I was then pulled out of my thoughts by a shock of electricity.  I was now wide awake and was looking around my surroundings frantically.  I was tied down in a chair of some sort and had a wired machine attached to me in various places.

"Oh good your awake now."  Said the same voice and I looked around to find its source and was greeted by a very strange looking pony.  He was a tall unicorn with a very strange looking cutie mark and resembled something like a display piece you would see at a museum.    He then started to speak again.

"Welcome dear Nightshade I have been waiting to meet you for so long!  And now that I have you I've completed my collection!"  I cut in.

"Collection?  What are you talking about pony!"  He responded by pressing  a button, and in turn caused a large amount of electricity to run through my body.  I let out a cry of pain.

"Now now Nightshade I don't like it when my pets talk back to me.  I will have to teach you some manners now wont I."  Another shock hit me and was more powerful than all of the others.  He then spoke again.

"Do I make myself clear?"  I was trying to catch my breath and was about to speak when he shocked me again.

"I said did I make myself clear!"

"YES!"  I yelled back so not to be hurt again but was returned with another shock.

"Now Nightshade, pets should not shout at their masters now should they?"  I shook my head no and was given another shock of pain.  "You are to speck when spoken to is that understood?"  I quickly spoke.

"Yes..."  I was shocked again.

"Yes what?"  He asked in a very happy and pleased tone.

"Go to hell you baster'ed!!!"  I shouted having enough of his crap and started to struggle against my restraints.  He then started laughing but spoke.

"Oh I'm going to have a lot of fun with this one aren't I my sweet?"  He said turning to his left and out of the darkness came a mare with a caller around her neck.

"Yes my master."  She said starring right at me and what looked like pity in her eye's.  But in that moment I had some how gotten my right arm free and started to undo my other restraints as quickly as possible.

"Oh I don't think so!"  He said with an evil grin and let lose on me with electricity.  My whole body felt the blast and I was thrown back into the chair.  He left me there like that for what felt like eternity before letting go.  I then went back to trying to get free.  "You don't take a hit do you Nightshade?"  He said shocking me again, but my effort was worth it for I had managed to free both of my hands and now just had to free my legs.  After what felt like another eternity he stopped.  "Are you going to try to do that again?"  He asked anger very present in his voice.

"N-no..."  I said trailing off in pain.

"Good..."  He said and was about to restrain me again but stopped and an evil grin grew on his face.  "Darling would you be a dear and restrain dear Nightshade for me?  I have another surprise for him that I need to get ready."  The mare took a step back and gulped before answering to him.

"Yes my master"  She said and hesitantly walked over to me and started to cuff me back to the chair.  However was interrupted by a large shock that was given to her for she was touching me and the metal chair.  She let out an ear reaching  cry of pain and fell to the ground.  My eye's then fell upon her again for there was a purple flash and she became a changeling but a purple one like me?  The stallion held up a manacle laugh and started to speak when he was done shocking me here and there for more of his pleasure.

"Oh Nightshade do you like your surprise?  You have just completed my set of purple's and from what I hear you two are some of the last living ones on the planet!  They say that there may only be five left but I have two of those five!  Oh you two are going to make me far more rich than I had ever dreamed  I think I am going to go and celebrate!  You whore get up and show him his cage and then well you know what to do.  Don't be late bitch I hungry."  He said leaving the room and leaving us alone.

She stayed on the ground for a while before standing and then started to let me lose without a word.  Once I was free I no longer had the straight to stand or really do anything so she started to drag me out of the room.  I the hallway it looked like one of the back rooms that you would see at a zoo and after further inspection I realized that it was.  There where many different types of rare and exotic animals.  I was dragged into an empty cage near the end of the hallway and to my surprise I found that my neighbors where also all changelings.  There was two of each color green, blue, red, orange, brown, yellow, gold and now purple.  I was pulled out of my thought as I was dropped in the cage and the door closed.  All eye's where on me I didn't know why nor did I really care.  I closed my eye's and succumb to darkness once again.

I awoke to some'ling touching me and slowly looked around to see who or what it was.  Although it didn't surprise me to much seeing the purple female looking at me.  She was stroking my head with her hoof and I got up as fast as

i could and moved away from her so she would leave me be.  I sat down in the darkest corner and waited to see what she would do for I didn't trust her.  Then again I can't really trust any'ling any more.  But I was brought back to reality when I felt something touching me again.  I then saw that she was sitting next to me and looking ant me but had only touched me to get my attention.  I looked at her and showed that I was not pleased to see her and she instantly fled to the safety of the other side of the cage.  She then simply stared at me for a long time but did not bother me.  I tried to go back to sleep for I was still very weak and sore but it was very hard to do so with the knowledge that I was being watched.  I opened my eye's again and was meet by her right in my face.  I pulled back in surprise and then found my words for I was no longer going to fall asleep again.

"What..."  Was all I said in a very displeased voice and a grin on my face as well.  She started to retreat to the back of the cage again.

I gave her a concerned look and backed up a little bit for there was now a very unsettling atmosphere in the room.  She however did not take kindly to my response and hung her head in shame and turned her back to me.  Part of me felt bad for her but I really couldn't tell if it was my head or my cock that made me feel bad for her because I get this feeling a lot when ever I upset a female.  I decided to forget about it and went back to trying to sleep.  But the unicorn that is suppose to be my new master had other plans.

"Good morning my beautiful collection I hope you are hungry because I have extra food for everypony!"  He said and in response everything went from quiet and peaceful to loud and painful.  I looked around and every changeling was now cowering in the back of their cage's while the rest of the animals or beings where trying to break out to get the food he was presenting them.  Suddenly everything went silent as he rang a bell and as though they were trained dog's they sat quietly and patiently for there food.  He would go by each cage and drop a large amount of food in two bowls and if the cages owner could speak they would instantly say.  "Thank you master..." and they would wait for him to respond before eating the meal in front of them.  This continued for ten minuets before he had finished his route and came to us.

"Oh my dear changelings you are of my most prized possession's.  I have no food for you today I am quit sorry to say, but you cant serve love on a platter so I'm just going to give you all the usual is that ok with you?"  They all gave out a mild "Yes master, thank you master..."  All but me.

"I'm sorry Nightshade I don't believe that I heard you speak a reply would you like to correct your mistake?"  He said and came to the front of the cage and was standing so close that I could touch him if I tried.  I walked up to the front of the cage and gave him a death glare that made him shiver though he didn't acknowledge it.

"No..."  I said he gave a sly smile.

"I was hopping that you would say that.  How would you like it if I brought you back to your favorite metal chair?"  I started to laugh and he looked at me in confusion as did every other living thing in the room.

"Bring me to the chair if you wish torturer me all you want but I will still get my revenge on you.  You think that you are so smart and that your planes are flawless but you have a weakness and all I have to do is find it and when I do.  I will do everything in my power to destroy what it is that makes you weak.  I have nothing to loss but you ..."  I stopped there letting my words sink in before speaking again and found that I was starting to get under his skin.  "You have something to loss and I will take it from you in the worst possible way..."  His face was red with anger and it looked as if he was ready to kill me and if he did I wouldn't be any worse off.

"You threaten me!"  He said in disbelief.  He opened the door to the cage and grabbed a blade and was about to use it on me but I was faster then he.  We fought over the blade and we fought dirty.  He tried to hit me in the grown but missed and hit me in the thigh and in response I bit he in the side sinking my fangs deep into his body.  He yelled out in pain and hit me multiple times in the stomach to get me to let go.  When I did I tried to bit down again but he had moved so I only got the side of his ear.  In doing so I pulled away as fast as I could and half his ear came with me.  We now stood several feet apart from one another but he had the knife.  I didn't care any more and thought that if I was lucky that I would still win but even if I lost he would most likely kill me and I was ok with that.  He surprised me by throwing at me and I narrowly missed it but was hit head on by his charge.  We both fell back and I had the wind knocked out of me while I couldn't see what he was doing.  As I recovered and get back to my hoof's he was in another charge and I had to jump and fly to miss his attack and even then his horn stabbed my hoof.  I used my wound to my advantage and pulled him up with me and then dropped him on his

head.  I then ran for the knife that he had thrown at me and had to get it out of the wall.  Sadly for me the blade broke as I tried to take it out and was useless for not even a sharp edge could be used.

"Now Nightshade it appears that we are evenly matched maybe we should settle this another way.  Would you like me to call up Blood Crest and have her tuck you in to your mettle chair?  He said slowly limping backwards to the exit.  I started my advance forward and decided to play along with him and talk.

"Blood Crest set me up didn't she?"  I said and a smile grew on his face.

"Oh Nightshade you are a lot smarter than I had thought but yes she did.  You see I had something that your little organization wanted and they had something that I wanted.  So we made a trade.  I got you and the orange queen got her daughter back so everypony was happy in the end.  All they had to do was get you back so they had used the only thing close to you and that was Blood Crest."  I looked at him and wasn't as surprised as he had thought that I would be for his smile vanished when I didn't start to flip out.

"I wondered why she was so friendly to me and she was acting very strange for her standers and that's saying something about her.  Although it all makes seance now and all I have to do now is kill you and then I can get out of here and get my revenge."  It was his turn to laugh now and this time I was quite surprised.

"Oh well I guess that you didn't put all of it together well I might as well explain it to you shouldn't I?  You see this is Blood Crest's revenge on you for letting Black Fang die and it didn't help having her brother so close to death for three months to.  Then again this is all news to you no doubt.  But lets take a trip to the past here quick shall we.  Let's see you how old are you again?"  He asked I didn't respond.  "Oh never mind your age.  Give or take 15 years ago the purple hive was destroyed and your mother took you and fled to the closest refuge.  In doing she was discovered and sadly executed for all of the crimes that she had committed to try and keep you safe.  It almost brings a tear to my eye to know that somepony would kill such a rare and beautiful creature.  Any way they would have killed you too but dear old Celestia felt bad for you and decided to take you in and care for you but only in secret.  But you already know this part of the story don't you?  You lived there and apparently even thought she was you Mather oh what a laugh.  But somepony had become wherry of Celestia and found her out he had threatened to tell all of Equestria if she didn't give you up for he wanted you dearly.  She said she would but when she went to get you for me she lied! and she told you to run!  To run away and never come back!  She never said why and even threw you out the window.  But seeing how she lied to me I went to the changeling empire and asked for you but they refused me!  So I said that I would have you and that they would regret their decision.  Then one day one of my dear friend's that you killed by the way gave me exactly what I needed.  He gave me the orange queens daughter and fourteen of the hives females.  I then went back and they said that they would give me you and so they did.  Now you are here and your right about one thing I do have something to loss.  I have you to loss and I wont loss you!"  He then turned to run and I chased after him.  He tried to close the door behind him but I got to it before it closed and locked me in.  I saw him running up a set of stairs but managed to cut him off by flying to the top and pushing him back down.  He fell backwards down the stairs and made a satisfying sound with every step.  When he reached to bottom I had to fly down to him so not to slip in the blood that he had left on the stairs as he went down.  He wasn't moving but was breathing heavily and was holding his head.  His horn had broken off and had even lodged itself into his foreleg and I pitted him a little bit for I knew that it must have been the most painful thing I had ever seen done to somepony.  But I knew that he deserved his pain for all that he had done to me and the others that I don't really even know.

I flipped him on his back and made him look me in the eye's when I talked to him.

"So tell me were might the keys be located for the cages and all of the other doors?"  I asked he looked up at me with rage.

"I am not telling you shit I won't loss you!"  I took his horn out of his leg and stabbed him in his other leg and twisted it.

"Don't worry about losing me..."  I said twisting his horn deeper into his leg.  He cried out in shear pain and suddenly coughed up blood.  "You aren't going to live until tomorrow so don't worry about losing me for I will kill you.  But if you tell me were the key's are I promise that your death will be quick and you won't be in more pain than you are in now."  I twisted his horn again before letting him speak.

"OK!  I will tell you were they are just please stop!"  I stopped twisting his horn and knelt down next to him.  "The keys are up stairs on the coat rack you can't miss it!  But please don't kill me!"  I got up and went to the location he described and found that he wasn't lining to me.  I went back down stairs and found that he was trying to crawl away but he only made it two feet and left a blood trail from where he was.   I rolled him over again and took the horn out of his leg.

"You kept your promise I respect that so I will keep mine and I won't even be the one to kill you does that sound fair?"  I asked him.  His eye's lit up with fear and I had never tasted so much fear addressed words me and if felt great.  I then walked to the door in which I was held and found that the purple female was sitting there waiting for me to open the door.  I half considered closing it on her but thought I could use her to my advantage and gave her the keys.

"I'm sure you know what to do with these."  I said and walked back to the injured unicorn.  Who was now feeding me more than ever and then heard that somepony was at the front door.  I went up to the door and looked through the window to see a about ten or twelve pony's standing outside waiting impatiently.  I opened the door and looked at them without changing or speaking.

"Oh look everypony he did get the other purple one like he said he would and it looks like he has been having fun with this on..."  They all laughed and then stepped inside right past me and kept going until one of them yelled in panic for they had found my so called master.  I closed the door and locked it before they could try to run out and in doing so made them all panic.  They all ran upstairs to hide and I really didn't care for I found a little red button and I loved pushing random buttons expensively if they were red.  My stupidity had prevailed once again and a voice said.  "Now locking down." and all of the doors and windows locked shut and closed with a metal like cover so that no pony could see in or out.  I also heard a lot of screaming come from upstairs and found that two mares with collars and chains attached to them run downstairs and hide in what I think is a kitchen.  There was also a large earth pony that came down after them and was threatening to kill them if they didn't come back.  I decided to get his attention.

"May I ask why you wish to kill these two mares?"  He turned in surprise and then ran at me ready to kill me with a single punch.  I simply side stepped his attack and tripped him.  Then went up and snapped his neck.

"I guess not."  I  said walking over to the kitchen to find two mares cowering in the corner.  I motioned for them to follow me and then went back to the door where I left the purple female the keys.  I opened the door and found that instead of just her sitting there waiting for me every last one of the creatures in the room where sitting and waiting for me.  It reminded me of a lot of eager puppy's waiting for their food to be put down in front of them.  I stepped to the side and watched as they all walked out in single file and then stopped to look at the unicorn that was suppose to be their master.

"He is still alive if you would like some revenge and there are also about nine or ten more upstairs hiding if you would like to kill them too other than that go away I don't need you following me."  They stood there for a moment looking at both me and each other  and suddenly they all jumped on the unicorn and showed him no mercy then ran up the stairs.  After a little while I heard a lot of screaming that soon faded and they came back down, most of which were covered in blood and then went straight for the door and left.  I turned then to see once again the face of the purple female who was holding the key's in her mouth and then dropped them in front of me but did not take her eye's off of me.

"Can I help you or are you just going to stair at me"  She stood there and did not reply but she did push the keys closer to me and pointed to the caller around her neck.  I then figured that she wanted it off so I did just that.  There was a loud "clank" as it hit the ground and she then picked it up and looked at it in disbelief that it was off her neck.  She then looked up to me again and was going to say something but didn't instead she hung her head again and stared at the floor.  I really didn't see any reason for staying anymore for I had to get out of here fast and find somewhere safe to hide.  I started for the main door which was broken down by the others so they could get out and left some bloody prints as well.  I really didn't care much anymore and was about to fly off when I felt some'ling tug on my tail.  I turned to see the purple female sitting behind me and holding my tail in her mouth.  I was starting to get a little irritated by this female.

"What do you want now I have to go and I suggest that you do too."  She then looked at the ground and kicked at in with her hoof.  I really just didn't care anymore.

"Listen you need to start talking right now because I'm getting really pissed off trying to figure out what you are saying and what it is that you want!  Now start talking or I'm going to leave you here alone to fend for yourself do you understand me!"  I said yelling at her face and she started to cry and she hide her head under her hoof's.  I then felt sorry for her and didn't know why I even got mad at her for she didn't even do anything wrong and I didn't know what to do anymore.

"Ok look I'm sorry I yelled but you need to go now or you are going to die so ... um bye I guess but really you need to run now."  I then turned feeling like a complete idiot for what I said and that was probably the worst apology in the history of apologizing.  But it didn't matter any more for I would most likely never see her again and started in the direction of mountains.  It was going to be at least an hour before I got there however and decided to get lost in my own thoughts.
