Luna- Where are my guards when I need them?

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Princess Luna yawns, stretching her arms out. Thank goodness my head is feeling better. I should probably go see if any kind of chaos erupted in Equestria during that time I was out of commission... the mare thinks to herself, rolling out of bed. Stepping out with her front hooves, Luna immediately falls down out of the bed. "Well, that didn't go how I assumed it would..." She says out loud, rubbing the back of her head with her right hoof.

Luna moves herself from the awkward position, and begins to step down with her back hooves from the bed. Almost as soon as all four hooves hit the floor, Luna collapses due to the position being too uncomfortable. As the confused mare tries to figure out why she can't stand up normally, she looks about the room. "This isn't my room..." She mutters to herself, looking about at the walls and floor. Scared, Luna scoots herself back, up against a wall. "W-where am I?" she shouts at her captors, "Where is my sister?"

Hoofsteps are heard off in the distance, and Luna braces herself for her captor to open the door. In walks a strange looking beast walking on it's back hooves alone. The unusual creature approaches Luna with a concerned expression, and hugs her. "Oh, Luke! I am so glad you are okay! When I saw you passed out on the floor, I was so worried about you!"

Luna feels the embrace, and senses that this person means her no harm. However, she made some errors with her story. "You are incorrect, but you can be dismissed. Please bring my guards here, so they can escort us to my sister. We shall settle things as soon as she is present." Luna says, staring at the creature coldly. It looks right back at the Princess, and rolls her eyes.

"Listen, Luke, I'm not sure what you are talking about, but I think you need more rest. I'll be downstairs if you need me." She says, backing off from Luna, and leaving the room without another word.

Luna isn't sure what to make of what the creature said. It got her name wrong twice, and said she fell asleep off of the bed. However, it's movement didn't seem unnatural to it whatsoever. "Could I get around like that..?" she asks to herself, deciding to try it out. As she shifts her weight and tries to stand on her hind legs, she realizes that it almost seems somewhat natural. Standing up straight, she moves her left hind leg to take a small step. After falling on her face about thirty times, Luna begins to get the hang of getting around. Clapping her hooves in excitement, Luna thinks to herself, Oh, I cannot wait to show this to Celestia! She shall be so envious of my new talent!

She begins to walk circles around the room, happy as could be, before taking a moment to look in the mirror on the dresser. Getting up close to it, she sees that not only was she not herself, but she was whatever species that other creature was when it entered her room, albeit different clothing. Her hooves were replaced by tentacled atrocities, her horn and wings were gone, and worst of all, her beautiful mane was gone!

Before she could scream, a peculiar vibrating feeling sounded off in her leg. She quickly slaps the strange sensation with her tentacled appendage, and a small rectangular item came out of that part of her leg. The rectangle continues to vibrate, and Luna looks at it in fear. Seconds pass, and it is still vibrating, and Luna goes over the edge and hits it with a tentacle of hers.

"Hey, Luke? You there?" Suddenly rang out quietly in the room. Luna's eyes darted beyond control, looking for the source of the unknown male voice. "Luke? C'mon, say something. You can't be that sick," it calls out, Luna frozen in horror.

"W-where is this voice coming from? Show yourself, foul creature!" Luna cries out, watching her life fall apart bit by bit.

"I'm- Ah, screw it. I'm just gonna stop by. I'll be there in a few minutes." The voice said, followed by three deep beeps. Luna cringes, knowing whatever was speaking to her would be arriving momentarily. The agonizing minutes pass, and the terrified mare hears the opening of a door in the distance echo throughout the building. Backing herself back into a corner, Luna watches at the door to her prison begins to open. Another one of the strange hind leg walking creatures enters the room, carrying a small stack of papers and books.

"Hey, Luke. I brought what assignments you missed at school today," the strange being states, setting the stack on a desk in the room.

"Luke..." Luna thinks out loud, starting to piece things together. "Who is this Luke person, and where am I?" She asks in the most polite, yet dignified way, hoping to get a little bit of information out of this creature.

Sighing, the creature points at Luna's refection in the Mirror. "See that guy? In the mirror? That's Luke. And you're in your home. On earth. Now, can you please stop asking stupid questions?" It asks, clearly annoyed by Luna's questions.

"I... I don't know of an Earth. All I've ever known is Equestria." Luna says, looking away from the annoyed beast, in shame. "As it would seem, I am not only inhabiting a foreign body, but a foreign world as well..." The creature raises an eyebrow, looking at Luna's small display. "Please! Listen to me, and my plight! I am not this 'Luke' you creatures seem to confuse me as, and perhaps you would believe me if I told you about who I truly am!" Luna declares boldly, as a tear drops down her face.
