Chapters The Broken Mind Of A Immortal
Hey This is my first story and I'm writing challenged so don't judge too bad please.
One day in Ponyville a troubled man enters with his mind heavy with questions and thoughts thinking about what lays ahead for him. He will try to live in a settled down life after over a thousand years all his waking hours in conflict. This is the story of Zero the immortal who wishes to find peace in his bloody life.
"I wonder what this Ruby is like." This is the thought that turns over and over in Zero's mind. She offered a temporally home for him in fact of his reputation as being the embodiment of evil or some bullshit spread by the people who fear his power of riving the sun but actually uses his magic once a hundred years. The few who do see it go brain dead soon after looking at the spell circles he use his own blood to form.
Zero bends over in pain form a splitting headache. "No Infinity your not allowed to use my head not after the incident in Manehatten when you got us arrested!"
"Ah Finally after weeks i can get out and stretch my legs after burning down that capital building!" Infinity strechs his arms and legs smiling as he looks around looking what he could do to this small town. "So many options! The houses are close enough to set the whole town on fire or should i cause small explosions around the venders?" He thinks about this all then comes across a thought. He will simply do nothing and see what a peaceful then he start killing random people till they chase him out or try to kill him then he can retaliate in self defense and kill the whole town!"
Zero looks around as hes on the ground, "Oh thank you Im fine no-" He finds the thing that tackled him was a girl with puffy pink hair and what seemed like a skirt for partying with three balloons two blue ones on the bottom and a yellow on top printed on the right side of the dress. Oh god not the party person.
"Hello! My name is Pinkie Pie and i wanted to welcome you to Ponyville! Im going to through you a GIANT welcoming party!" He sighs and pushes her off in defiance. He looks her dead in the eyes, "I dont want anyone knowing im here for your and their own good and if you do try if rip out your throat with my bare hands and use your blood for my spells to kill your friends! She looks at him just smiling, "But please! My party's are the best in Ponyville! I promise it'll-" He takes out a knife and looks her in the eyes, "I'm Zero for gods sake! Why the hell are you even speaking to me! Why aren't you keeping as far away form me as you can get or do i have to force you?!? She looks at him unphased and sighs, "Fine ill leave you alone but you must Pinkie Pie promise that you will let me throw you a party!"
He looks away after his out burst and says quietly, "Fine i Pinkie Pie promise you that ill allow you to throw me a party but i must go now."He sheepishly puts up the knife in its sheathe that seems to make it disappear and he walks off to his destination. He looks around startled, "Wow there are so many people, how does anyone live like this? I just want to hide in my new home." He looks down sadly almost on the verge of tears of how scared he is of this market place. He sees a huge tree and a book on the sign. He gasp happily, "A-a library finally a quite place i can hide till Zero takes over." He runs to the library and opens the door and sighs in relief. He slowly turns around then screams as hes face to face with a girl with purple hair with natural pinkish highlights and he backs into the library quickly. He quickly bends over breathing heavily.
"Thank you for scaring 343 out of his wits, it allowed me time to take back control of my mind." The girl looks at him and starts taking notes, "So your openly admitting you have muti-personalty disorder?"
"Yes i am, I'm Zero, my alter ego Infinitive is my negative side so he named him the opposite of Zero. Infinity so he want nothing but your death and destruction but he rarely gets out and then there is 343, hes qutie and scared of his own shadow."
The girl giggles as she takes notes, "Its so rare to find a mental patient in Equestira but the fact one walked into my door!" She scrambles to find books and documents as she sits down then the fact hits her."Y-your Zero? the infamous immortal that didn't stop Discord even though it was well in your power?" He nods slowly but she doesn't see his eyes full of sadness and regret.
"Im leaving now if you need me don't find me i just might hurt you." He gets up and leaves a furious Twilight in his steed as she cast a immobilization spell on him.
"Your not leaving till i get answers and i need to report this to Celestia." She sees he escaped using a enchanted card that makes spells nulled and on it it has a speck of blood on it and is back on his path to this crazy girl named Ruby's house.
He pulls out a map with a X on his destination as he expertly weaves though the crowds to a house in the middle of the market place and he sighs to himself, "343 is going to have a hard time here thats for sure." He then chuckles to himself as he knocks the door and a Girl opens it. Now i know why shes called Ruby. Her skin in a fair pale that complaints her long straight blood red hair but she wearing a goth Lolita dress and most beautiful thing about her is that small sad smile that's spread across her face like shes asking for someone to notice but most shrug it off as a quiet type.
"H-hello My name is Zero, are you the girl that offered me your spare bedroom for my stay in this town?"
She nods and opens the door, "Welcome Zero i hope you find your room nice its been awhile since i had a guest, my appearance makes most them think I'm some sort of freak." She speaks quietly in a way he just cant help but feel sorry for her.
He walks in and tips his head, "You know you remind me of someone i use to love? It is crazy how close you two look alike." A few tears fall off his face as he closes the door and sits down on a couch. "Well here starts my new life here."

The Remembrance Of A Dream
Zero jumps up in a fright of a recurring nightmare then he reaches up to his cheek and feels multiple tears on his cheek, "I dream but what are my dreams that my mind refuses to show me, built in warnings probably." He sees he passed out on the couch and that girl...Ruby carried him up to a room that is filled with beautiful integrate paintings that makes his mind race if he stares at one for too long. 'Man that Ruby is a good artist, maybe she will paint me if i ask.' He nods and gets up still in the clothes form yesterday and makes a mental note to buy more clothes for himself at the local clothes shop.
He parts the shades to see the moonlight streets of Ponyville and sighs as he walks down the stairs carefully not to wake Ruby. Each step down the stairs is met with a creek which make Zero have a mini hear attack and when he gets down the stairs he see Ruby reading a newspaper in a chair and he kicks himself mentally for over reacting before even knowing shes asleep.
He looks at her beautiful soft features and small slim lips which he catches himself wondering what they felt like in a kiss...Shes our host not to be flirted with even though how beautiful she is. He looks at her and waves, "Im going for a walk to shake off a bad dream, don't worry ill be back soon." She smiles at him and he walks out to the cobblestone roads of Ponyville.
He starts to walk down the barren path and starts to sing to himself a little song he cant remember where he heard but he thought sounded beautiful, "Red like roses fills my dreams of the place where you lay~
White is cold and always yearning,
Burdened by a royal test~
Black the beast descends form the shadows. Yellow beauty burns, Gold~"
There is a small applause and he turns his head to see a girl wearing a long yellow sweatshirt and long pink hair that touched the ground. Much to his curiosity a small line of nocturnal animal clapping after he finished then the song and he realized that they heard him. And like his singing?
The girl in the green sweatshirt speaks at a level he strains his ear to hear, "T-that was beautiful Mister, I'm sorry if we interrupted i just saw the tears and wanted to ask if you were ok."
He nods to her and whispers just like her, "Now i remember that is the song in my nightmare, im so glad i remembered it." He sighs and drops his shoulders
Th girl looks at him shyly, "Why would you like to remember a nightmare? Anyone would want forget about them." She trails off and looks down kicking the dirt with her shoes and sighs.
"I hate to forget anything, that means the dreams and the dreams that have bad things in them, the last time i forgot something it changed my very soul, you can forget kindness, you can forget hate, you can even forget logic but its still killing a part of yourself so no i will remember the good and the bad."
"Do you want to hear a story of me forgetting my humanity? I must warn you its not for the easily scared."He looks down sadly and sighs as he feels her hug him. Its been awhile since he last had a hug and he quite enjoyed it then the girl broke off blushing.
"Of course ill listen I'm the Element of Kindness after all." She walks over to a bench follows followed closly by Zero who sits down and begins.
"It all began about 1500 when the rule of Discord began, There were no just things as dark magic or light magic at that time s i decide to stud into a spell i found called the mental immortally spell and it worked too but the creator didn't know you had to split your mind into fragment as use their life span as your source of fuel you could say and every time you get a mortal wound one your split personality dies and you recover. I started off with ten now I'm down to three and soon im going to have to use the spell again to make more split personality's. So technically I'm not immortal I've just bought time by almost bleeding myself dry."He rolls up his sleeves to show deep scars on his wrist.
Fluttershy looks at him crying, "Why would you do that to yourself? Nothing warrants that much pain and suffering."Shes stops when she sees he walked off but leaves a note saying 'Dont cry for me save those tears for someone who deserved them.'
Zero follows a path up to a tree farm where he fells tree little bumps hits his legs and he sees three little girls looking at him then run off giggling. "Those girls are weird and what are they doing at this time of night?" He shrugs then walks to what he thinks is the middle and climbs in the trees and falls asleep finding a pillow and blanket in one them.
He wakes up finding himself on the ground and a farm boy standing over him. He gets up yawning and stretches and sees its early morning, "Fuck i fell asleep didn't I, sorry I got to go!" Zero runs off but the farmboy grabs him by the collar of his shirt and looks at him.
"Why were you sleeping in one our trees?" His voice is deep and rough like not use to talking.
"I found a blanket and pillow so i wanted to sleep in it." He smiles sheeply. "On a good note your trees are really comfy." He trys to get off with a smile and laugh but the farm boy stares in his eyes.
"Get. Off. My. Farm." He looks coldly at Zero. 'Well i can kiss 343 gone.' he teases up expeecting the shit to be beat out of him but is dropped off by the gate of the farm. And Zero looks at the tall muscle bound fellow, "Im giving you a warnng considering your new here we don't like strangers on our farm. So come by on friendlier terms next time."The farm boy smiles and Zero walks off to see his new town but first stop by home.
He slowly opens the door to see the beautiful Ruby sitting on a chair doing nothing but when she sees him she moves in a fashion that makes her look like she giggling but lays her head down on he black cloth couch and he stares at her before snapping outof his trance like state, "Sorry i home so late i kinda fell asleep in a tree." He notices she fall asleep and a small smile creeps up his face and kisses her forehead, "I miss you Fladora." He walks up the stairs and goes to his own bed which he notices a bag of money and note reads, "Form Ruby, go but new clothes stinky."

Zero cracked a smile as he silently climbed into his bed and hide his head from the oncoming light by placing in in between two pillows as he slowly fell asleep.
Zero opened his eyes to darkness and lifted the pillow form his head to see its mid day, “Did i sleep for another day?” His eyes wandered to the nightstand with a tray of bacon and eggs. he felt the eggs that were still warm and he smiled again, “What is with this women.” ‘Tonight ill talk to her and see what she thinks about me. It must be good if she brought my breakfast in bed cause i'm not paying her, maybe its company, I was never good with women.’ He started to laugh to the point he was clenching his sides at what he thought. ‘Maybe ill get it right with her cause the shy girl. Futtershy her name was. She didn't look like she wanted an boyfriend but Ruby looked lonely. Almost as lonely as i was after Fladora.’
He nodded and got up and ate his delicious breakfast and his eyes go wide with enjoyment. ‘Is her job an god damn cook case it better be or that would be wasted talent!’ He sighed happily and closed his eyes and got up and stare and the bit bag and snatched it up happy for the spending money he desperately needed and set off down the stairs and he sees Ruby sitting on the couch in an white goth lotila dres with three crosses on her neck that delacily curved up o her beautiful face.
He sat in the chair opposite and looked at her smiling warmly. “Ruby can i ask you something?”
She looked at him with soft red eyes and he notices on her hairline theres white. She opened her small delicate mouth and out came an voice as smooth as slik, “What is it Zero?”
He could feel his heart beat at an faster rate as he staring in her beautiful eyes then blurt out, “Are you an albino?”
She nods smiling a little, “Do you like me? Cause i can see your heart making your chest shake and it suddenly got faster.” She starts to giggle as he blush and runs out. “If you would of stayed i would of told you i like you too.”
‘You have an thousand years of calming yourself and you can't control yourself around an women?! Stupid stupid stupid *Cue 343* I can't go back she doesn't like me no one likes me.’
He walked through the streets before meeting the girl named Fluttershy who stopped him and she looked at him on the verge of crying, “Zero why did you run from me last night i wanted to keep talking to you.”
“I'm not Zero i'm 343 his kindness and shyness, i'm the one no one likes and everyone hates.” Tears streak his face as he looks down and starts to hyperventilate. “No one likes the kind one but just run from me save yourself before i hurt you like i do everyone.”
She looks up at him and pats your head, “I like you and I say the same thing but i can bring you to one my friends to help you. Follow me 343.” She takes his hand and leads him to Twilight’s house.
Twilight was reading an fascinating book on split personality syndrome and how to tell if someone has it by telling if their angry or they another person then she sees Fluttershy dragging in...ZERO?!?
Flutter shy notices 343 to get shifter as she get closer to the library and to Twilight by the time she got to the door she's dragging him in by the collar of his shirt then she notice as he enters the library he starts to visibly shake.
“Fluttershy what are you doing with that dangerous man?!”Fluttershy gasp and looks at 343 who is visibly shaking and crying.
“Hes not dangerous we met last night and he told me an story that made me cry! hes actully really kind…”
“You sure Fluttershy cause the things i read thats hes done is outrageous cureal and you're not lying are you.”
Fluttershy shakes her head and whispers words of enforcement to 343 and he walks up to her and extends his hand, “I'm not Infinity I'm 343, i am Zeros kindness and sweetness i usually come out when Zero starts hating himself so one his blood spells don't go off my accident.”
Twilight's face turn to one horror at the mention of blood spells, “You mean to ones that are banned because of the fact it kills anyone who sees it by taking their blood?” He nods slowly expecting to be yelled at or to be beat like he was in his youth but the girl with purple hair hugs him and he looks at her confused. “How old are you 343, not Zero but you 343.” Her eyes are filled with curiosity.
“I'm 121 years old, i'm the next one to die but it'll be another 50 years or so says the notes Zero leaves us but if you see Infinity just run, he cruel and will bleed you dry like he did to those children.” He starts to sob at the mention of his last blood spell. "That was when i was born and my first feeling was i was doing this for their own good, all those kids were suffering form a painful skin rot that some their arms already feel off. So to repent for that i became Zeros kindness. He put on a stronger face when he doubled over in pain as Zero took back control and smiling at Twilight and takes out his bag of bits.
"Anyone know where the nearest clothes shop is?" Both Twilight and Fluttershy point to Rarity bouquet which Zero walks out of the house hymning a song that ends in a fast pace battle of high and low hymns. He enters the shop and his hit with beautiful displays of colors as he walks up to a desk and knocks on it.
A girl with pale white skin and a velvet blue turned in curls runs down the stairs and stand in front of the stand. "Welcome to Rarity's bouquet!" The first thing he noticed on her was the amount of cuts she had on her hand meaning she didn't use a tumble and the sloppiness of her work that somehow ended up in a beauty of mismatched chaos.
"Yes im here to request new garments, mostly suits with roses that bloom where my scars are." He turns his arms and rolls up his suit to show her the scars and drops the bits on the table, "Two suits for 50 bits is a far wager, bye now." He waled out leaving a dumbfounded Rarity.
He sighs and walks out of the shop to be knocked over by three little girls. They start giggling and helps Zeroup and brushes him off then the girl with light blue hair and pale skin that stood out form the other two tanned childern blurt out, "Not going to say sorry to the cutest crusaders you ever seen!

Zero looked at each of them deep in thought. 'I wonder what the little girls want if their staring at me like this.' He bent on one knee and looked at the one on the left who had purple hair and well tanned body for someone her age with grime on her clothes but not the others and the worse to him was her sad smile and deep pain in her eyes. "So what have you seen little girl?" The look he had on his face was one of deep sorrow, like if he lost someone dear to him.
The little girl piped up in a faked cheery voice that could of almost fooled him, "My names Scootalo and what do you mean im just a awesome little girl!" He saw a small spark in her eyes and chuckled.
He then point to Ruby's house and smiles, "Need anything just go there and ask for Zero, bye now."*he walked off back to his home and saw a tear run own the face of the little girl. before turning back to the path smiling, 'Well great Zero your going to raise another one.'
He walked in the door and smiling at Ruby, "Ruby do you know of a Scootalo by any chances?"
She nodded smiling in a way that turned his stomach in knots and he turned his head as saying come on. "Shes a orphan yet little of the town knows about it, everyone thinks she lives with her aunt that never comes out of the house and when i am in public she calls my aunt Ruby." Ruby looks down a bit and it pains him to see her cry.
"I-i was going to ask if she comes by here often and may i adopt her?"Te look on Ruby's face was on of extreme joy as she jumps up and hugs him which he responds with by fainting.
His senses return to him and he finds out his head is in Ruby's lap and she talking to the child and he heard father and adoption and she heard the little girl cry tears of joy. He raises his head in a deep blush before hugging the little girl which she in return hugs back and she speaks up, "You are going to be my new dad if i say yes?"
He nod but sighs and places her beside Ruby, "But im weird, i have three people in my head so if i seem to different don't around me cause it wont be me, it'll be someone else, do you understand if i seem mad just run please just run." He trails off and starts to cry as he ntices both the girls hug him smiling and Ruby looks deep in his eyes and shoos off Scoots and she hands him papers.
"I really want to talk to you again cause you ran off before i could tell you something." She grabs him and pulls him into a kiss then sits down happily. "I like you plently you just got to lear- and hes out cold again."
