Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash: Sisters Forever

"She's here. She's here!"

Twilight moved the window in a hurry, knocking Pinkie out the way slightly.

"Where? I don't see her."  The royal trumpets were sounding off to announce the Princess's arrival.  "Oh there she is."  Twilight felt stupid the princess was right there in plain sight.

"Told ya."  Pinkie said. Her mane and tail re-inflated to its normally poofy form as she walked past the window with a sweet smile. Twilight went to the door and opened it, then dropped to the floor in the deep bow. Celestia walked through the door the others bowed to the floor, including Scootaloo that came out the bathroom at that moment.

Celestia looked around the room seeing everyone. With a nod the girls got back on their hooves. Scootaloo, seeing the others getting up, did so also. She moved over slowly and carefully to Rainbow Dash. She wasn't scared of the princess, she just wasn't sure what to do or think right now. Would the princess side with her mom? With Rainbow Dash? Would she have to leave Ponyville? Would the Princess make her? There were too many questions and not enough answers. Scootaloo's mind went blank, seeing the princess looking at her with a look of concern and compassion.

Celestia watched the small filly at only a moment to see that Twilight was correct. The signs were ever clear. She walked slowly to the middle of the room. Scootaloo glanced at Rainbow, not sure what to do. Rainbow Dash lightly pushed her forward to let her to approach her. Scootaloo used all her bravery to walk in front of her. She sat down the floor her and slowly looked up at her. Celestia knelled down to her level.

"Young Scootaloo. I have seen many things in a long life. Yet, the sadness in your eyes tops many of them. Tell me, in your own words: Who has stolen your happiness?"

Tears started down Scootloo's face. She threw her small hooves around Celestia's neck and hugged her, not caring about appearances either.

Celestia listened to the quiet words and soft cries as Scootaloo whispered into her flowing mane. Her eyes  widened and narrowed with every few seconds, utterly disgusted with the details on what has happening to her small subject. Scootaloo let out everything, including her accidents and how she had to clean the last one up.. Celestia was careful not to show her anger to the terror filled filly. Scootaoo felt a little better getting that off her chest. Almost not wanting to let go of the warmth that Celestia naturally had.

"What is your mother's name?"

" . . . Light Cloud."

"Where does she live?"

"The house at the edge of town. It looks like it's falling apart. Can't miss it."

A ghost of a smile started to form on Scootaloo's face. Something was going to happen. She was on her side. She wasn't trash like her mother has told her so many times.

Celestia stood and called outside to her guards.

"Guards."  Her voice was still soft but demanding and the guards were there at the door a heartbeat later.

"Yes your highness!"  Both said in perfect unison.

"The mare, Light Cloud, is to stand trail for foal abuse. She is located at the house at the end of town."

Both guards saluted as she turned to Twilight.

"You were right to summon me."  Twilight smiled.

"There is one more thing.", Celestia said to the guards, "Rainbow Dash wishes to adopt Scootaloo as her sister."  Celestia turned to Rainbow with an approving look

Both guards saluted. "We will take care of that shortly, Miss Dash". The guards turned around and went to find Light.

"You mean...", Scootaloo said with glee in her voice, "She's going to by my sister?!"

"Yes Scootaloo", Celestia said.

Scootaloo hugged Rainbow Dash tightly, not wanting to let go. However, the heartwarming scene didn't last long when a random voice yelled.

"SCOOTALOO!"

A blazing arrow wissed by Scootloo's face, cutting her cheek slightly. She looked over to see Light Cloud with her crossbow.

"YOU'RE DEAD DEMON SPAWN!!! YOU AND THAT TRAITOR RAINBOW DASH!!!"

Light cloud voice was almost demon like in her rage. Her cross-bow in her hoof she took another shot from across the street, easily seen from the window of the library. Celestia with narrowed eyes caught the arrow with her magic and broke it in half. She grabbed hold of Light with her magic and levitated her across the street into the library. Unfazed by being captive of the princess, she struggled to the frozen hold of the princess's power. The princess walked closer to her seeing this enraged mare, her eyes wild and wide, unblinking as her hate was directed at her child and Rainbow Dash. Unable to take that look any longer, she used her magic to knock her out, leaving her limp in the air.

Her guards ran back to the library hearing the insane mare screams from the other side of town. They busted through the door braking it and denting the wall

"Princess!"

"It's alright. all over now."  The Guards walked up to the unconscious mare.  "We are taking her to Canterlot."  She looked over to the others. "I would like to see all of you there. We have things to discuss." The others nodded as Celestia dropped the mare into the waiting hooves of her guards.
