“In memory of Pinkie Diane Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Twilight Sparkle, and Rarity. May my friends and the embodiments of the Elements of Harmony have a Blissful and beautiful rest.”

“Sir, the attacks are coming from all directions. We are completely surrounded.”

“I know Night Wing. Tell all the men to gather together for I need to tell them something.” Shining Armor ordered.

“It will be done,” Night Wing states and dashes off.

To think, I was the one commanding these men and it is my fault that we ended up being ambushed. If only the dragons were not so tactical and clever. They were going to win this battle from the beginning. We are fighting the wiser and more powerful dragons after all.

“Sir, I have rallied the troops. We are ready for your command,” Night Wing states.

“Good job. Men I have something to tell you all. My protective shield will not be able to last long. Besides that, I want you all to know we are facing the Wisest and strongest dragons seen so far. Now I feel that we will not be able to make it out of this fight alive, but, I want you all to think of why you joined the Equestrian army. You joined so you could protect your country, your homes, your Mother, Father, and your Family. Now I want you all to be thankful for your lives, and your time spent with loved ones.” Shining Armor falters a bit from using his shield spell. “There is not much time left. So be prepared to die. But we shall die for our country. Now who is ready to teach these dragons a lesson that they shall never forget.” In unison the men shout “Yah.”

As if time slows, the shield falls and the Combatants have the last few seconds to prepare. All Shining Armor does however is think of his little sister back in Ponyville.

I’m sorry Twily. Your big bro won’t be coming back from this one. Take care of yourself and stay with your friends. For they will be there for you in the darkest of times, and in the lightest of times. You are so strong and I am proud to have a little sister as special as you. Who would of thought that Celestia would have taken you under her wing and taught you everything you know. You’re so powerful and I am proud to be called your B.B.B.F.F. See you around little one and stay strong.

Just as his thought finishes, the shield is completely gone and the dragons have begun their attack.

Back in Ponyville, Twilight is reading a new novel from Daring Do with Rainbow Dash. All of a sudden, she is struck by nothing and sent flying across the room. She hits the wall hard and falls with a strong thump on the ground.

“Twilight!!! Are you okay?” Rainbow asks with much concern. With no answer she goes and checks Twilight. “Twilight?” she says questioningly. She finds Twilight knocked out but with a smile on her face.

“Mmmm. Where am I?” Twilight says meekly after waking up.

She looks around finding herself in a white room and what appears to be in a hospital. “What am I doing here?” she asks franticly while sitting up. The last thing I remember is being in the library with Dash when all of a sudden I was thrown into a wall and knocked out. This is really terrifying.

She comes out of her thinking to state to find all of her friends there crying profusely.

“‘Ma gosh Twi, you’re okay.”

“Oh my gosh Twilight it is very nice to see you awake. Are you ok or are we bugging you by being here?”

"Darling, we aren’t bugging her. We’re all glad to see you well and okay.”

“This calls for a big party!”

“Not now Pinkie. Twilight are you okay?” Rainbow says while coming closer to Twilight.

“Girls, Girls. I’m fine. Just really swore and hurting. Do you know what happened Dash?” Twilight says instinctively.

“No I don’t. I was just sitting there reading when out of nowhere, I hear this crash and a loud thump. I look up and see your body on the other side of the room and it appeared as if you had been thrown around like a ragdoll,” Declared Rainbow.

Suddenly Luna teleports into the room and looks at all the ponies. They all bow in respect for the royal highness.
“Is everything alright Princess?” Twilight asks in confusion.

“Thou shall be concerned with thy own problems. I haft come to tell the of retched news.” Luna says vigorously but softly.

“No offense to you princess, but I believe that Twi should get all the rest she can for now and not be told of some nasty new as soon as she wakes up,” Applejack says to the princess.

“Aye, but the ‘nasty’ news I speak of is the reason why she got knocked unconscious in thy first place. Now please, can I have a moment with Twilight?” Luna asks sharply but softly.

"It’s up to you Sugarcube. Do you want to hear what she has to say or do you want to rest?” Applejack asks with much concern in her voice.

“We’ll do whatever you ask dear,” Rarity says nicely.

“Girls. I would like to hear what the princess has to say. However, Ms. Luna, I would like my friends to stay with me,” Twilight says reasonably.

“If that is the wish, then thou friends shall stay.” Luna says slightly angered.

“Thank you so much princess Luna,” Twilight says happily. “Now please, what is it that you wished to tell me?”

So this is my 1st attempt at writing a story. I already have up to chapter 8 completed however, i just want to see how many of you want to continue on with the story. Please let me know how you feel and think about this story.
