My Sister's Life
She's A crusader!
Load Full StoryNext ChapterToday was Dallas's first day to at her new school in Ponyville. She's nerves because she has a blank flank. "Come on, Dal. I'm sure there are other blank flanks there! You'll be fine!" I encourage as we trot to her school. "You only say that because you already had your cutie mark when you went to school!" She whined. I look down at the white wing that was well defined on my grey flank. It was true. I got my cutie mark 2 days before school started. "Okay so I may not know what it's like but Lightspeed was a blank flank when she was your age too!" Lightspeed is my best friend. Her cutie mark is a neon green lightning bolt, nothing special. But she's a real badass! "Okay, I guess I feel slightly better now." She said as we arrived at her school. I looked over at Dallas and grinned. She smiled back. I pulled her into a hug, "You'll do great, kid!" Her smile grew as she trotted towards the large building. I turned around as a bright blue magic flowed from my horn and surrounded my whole body. Then I flew home.
When Dallas came home after school she was smiling from ear to ear. She tossed her black and blonde mane out of her face and handed me the red notebook I told her to write to me in. I smiled and she galloped upstairs. I settled down onto the couch and began to read:
Hey Cloud, so you told me to write to you in this book so that's what I'm doing. I'm in my first class and it's SO boring! All this teacher is telling us is how healthy carrots are. I mean I already know how healthy carrots are! Jeez. The teacher's cutie mark is a carrot. Is that all this teacher talks about? Yep! Just carrots.
Okay so now I'm at recess, sitting on a swing. This is lame. Someone's coming over. I'll write more later.
Hey! I'm Scootaloo! and Sweetie Belle! And Apple Bloom! Dallas says we aren't supposed to write in this but we didn't read anything so- Oh no here she comes! Okay bye!
Oh Celestia, I am going to kill those guys! Anyway, those where the cutie mark crusaders, and guess what? They're blank flanks too! I wish I could join. That would be so cool! Okay I'll talk later.
Okay, so I'm on the porch right now but when I was walking home Scootaloo asked me to join her club! Guess what I said? It's kinda obvious. I said YES!!! Bye for now! See you when I walk inside the door!
As I finish reading, I'm also grinning from ear to ear. Dally made some new friends! Did I ever think she wouldn't? Nah! She's a great kid! I get up from the comfort of the warm couch and head up to Dallas's bedroom. I knock on the door twice the yell "Hey Dallas!" She yells back, "Sup?" I open the door and walk in. Dallas is sprawled out on her bed reading a "Super Colt" comic. "So, what do you do in this so called club?" I said as I sat next to her. "Oh, umm..." she looked up from her comic. "Nothing really," She was looking everywhere but me. Dallas, you're such a bad liar! "Then how do you get your cutie marks?" I smirked. "Umm, how said we were trying to get our cutie marks?" She started drawing little shapes with her hoof on the sheets. Stage 2 of Dal's brilliant lying. "Well it's called the cutie mark crusaders so what else would you be doing?" she sighed, "Well we kinda just go around and do stuff to see if we can get our cutie marks. That's it." I laughed. "Why was that so hard to say?" She just shrugged. "You're really weird sometimes, Dal!" Then I got up and pretended to leave. I peeked threw the door. She was drawing. I don't know why she hides it but, dal is a really good drawer. I sighed and walked back down stairs.
