As Twilight Sparkle awakens in a place she does not know, she finds she cannot remember a thing. She cannot remember where she is or how she got there, and must piece together the segments of her scattered mind. However, as she descends into the darkness where Alexander of Brennenberg waits, she encounters creatures and places which cloud her vision her and thrust her mind into the claws of insanity. Her dark descent has begun.
