A New Friend

It's a sunny after noon in Equestria, after many travels, Muyo finally finds a place to live, to call home, Pony Ville. He's sitting by himself in one of the train carts, his bag is filled with his favorite belongings and a lot of bits to spend, the bag he carries looks simple and funtional and it was a gift from a friend in another kingdom, far away from Equestria. He doesn't know what to expect or find but he's used to it by now. He looks out the window and sees Pony Ville in the near distance.

"That must be it" He thought. He feels an electric-like sensation in his heart due to the excitement.

After an hour the train stops, all ponies on board stand and grab their bags, Muyo does so as well. After stepping out of the train, he looks around, the first thing he had to do was find the pony who sold the house to him prior to coming here, luckily he was waiting near by.

"Excuse me sir, are you Muyo?" A brown pony asked him.

"Yes that would be me, you must be the seller?" Muyo answered him then asked.

"Then follow me, i'll show you the house" He said to him.

Muyo follows him, after six minutes of walking they reach it.

"Here it is, nice isn't it?" He asked him.

"It's pretty good" Muyo answered.

Muyo spots the library that looks like a tree.

"Is that a house?" Muyo asked while pointing at the library.

"Yes, that's Golden Oaks Library, it's recent owner is Twilight Sparkle, she moved in after Nightmare Moon was defeated the night before last night" He explained.

"Nightmare what?" Muyo asked with a confused look.

"Nightmare Moon, you never heard of her?" He asked him.

"No" Muyo answered bluntly.

"Lucky you" He said.

They enter the house, Muyo inspects every room and detail, he pays the seller then purchases furniture, it took the rest of the day to put everything where it goes, later that night, Muyo goes to bed and relaxes. Next morning, Muyo has breakfast and washes up.

"Now that i'm awake, i should look around town" He thought.

He leaves the house and walks around town, looking at the sights, his distraction causes him to bump into Twilight, she drops her books.

"I'm sorry! I wasn't watching where i was going, you ok?" Muyo asked her.

"I'm ok, i wasn't looking either" Twilight answered.

"Here let me get those books" He said.

"It's ok, i can-" She tried to say.

Muyo picks up every book except one, they both try to pick up the last book at the same time, causing Muyo to blush a little.

"Uh, here." He says after softly pushing it to her.

"Thank you, again sorry for bumping into you" Twilight said.

"Fault is mine" He says.

"Your both at fault, can we go now?" Spike rudely says then asked.

"Spike!" Twilight raised her voice at him.

"Sorry Twilight" Spike apologized.

Muyo chuckles slightly.

"What? What's funny?" Twilight asked.

"You just reminded me of somepony i knew, well i must go, i am yet to see the rest of the town" Muyo said.

"Oh your new here?" Twilight asked.

"Yep, that's why i'm exploring" He answered.

"You should visit Sweet Apple Acres and Sugar Cube Corner, but watch out for a pink pony, if she sees you and finds that your new, she'll throw you a party" Twilight told him.

"A party?" Muyo asked.

"Yes, she did it to me when i first came a couple of days ago" Twilight told him.

"I see, i'll stay viligent, see ya" Muyo says as he walks away.

"Ok, bye" Twilight responded.

"Who was that?" Spike asked.

"Dunno, but he was nice" Twilight answered.

"You two kept yammering" Spike said.

"Come on Spike, he was sociable, i'm trying to learn more about friendship, he was a friendly pony, oh darn i forgot to ask him his name" Twilight told him.

A little later, Muyo heads to Sweet Apple Acres, he walks on a road leading to said farm.

"Wow, look at all these trees, i'm craving apples now" He said in his head.

As he approaches the family home he stops, he looks around, AJ spots him and approaches.

"Hi there partner, what brings y'all to the apple family farm?" She asked him with a southern accent.

"I moved in yesterday and a purple unicorn recommended visiting this here farm" He answered.

"Oh you must've met Twilight Sparkle, she's a friend of mine, my name is Applejack, what's yours?" She asked.

"My name is Muyo, you have any apples i can eat?" He asked.

"Sure thing, we got apple pie, fritters, caramel apples" She answered.

"I'll try a fritter" He said.

"Alright!" She shouted.

She drags him to her house, he meets Big Mac, Applebloom and Granny Smith.

"Nice meeting you" He said.

After a few minutes, she serves him a fritter, he eats it with cider.

"I don't think i ever had a better apple based meal" He said.

"Thank y'a kindly, where are y'all going to next?" She asked.

"Sugar Cube, after that home" He answered.

"Your welcome here anytime" She tells him.

He leaves and goes to Sugar Cube Corner, he enters.

"Hi! Welcome to Sugar Cube Corner, how may i help you?" Pinkie Pie greeted happily.

"Got any milkshakes?" Muyo asked.

"Sure! Chocolate or vanila?" Pinkie asked.

"Chocolate" He answered.

After two minutes she gives him the shake.

"Thanks" He says.

He pays and starts drinking, Fluttershy enters, she approaches Pinkie and gets a shake but she slips, Muyo instantly stops her fall and catches the shake.

"Careful miss, here" He says while giving her shake.

"T-Thank you... I'm ok" She said.

Pinkie gets excited.

"You were amazing!Youwerefastenoughtocatchherandtheshakedidyouseeherface?yoursocoolican'tstopthinkingaboutit!!" She said quickly.

"Calm down ma'am, it wasn't that big a deal, i just couldn't let a lady fall" He said.

"A gentlecolt too?!" She asked.

"Yeah, thanks again for the drink, here's a tip" He said while giving her a tip.

He walks home but is stopped by Rarity.

"Excuse me fine sir, i'm Rarity, i saw you walking by and i must ask, could you come to my shop? I wish to measure your figure" She asked him.

"For what?" He asked her.

"For a new line of stallion clothes" She answered.

"I don't know, i'm not into fashion" He said.

"Please?" She asked.

"Oh alright, only because you said please" He said.

He is taken to her shop where he's measured, after that was done.

"I say you have a nice figure, red and blue look great on you" She said.

"Thanks i guess, may i go now?" He asked.

"You may, thanks again, you handsome stallion" She answered.

Muyo heads home, he enters his house, Pinkie didn't throw a party like Twilight said much to his relief, he goes to bed and sleeps soundly for the night.
