A New Friend

A couple of days later, Twilight recieves two tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala while helping AJ take some apples to a cellar, while the bickering over it by AJ and Rainbow Dash was happening, Muyo was at town reading about said Gala. He notices Twilight being pressured by her friends over it, he wanted to help but he didn't want to be nosy either, after he heard Twilight say that she'll figure it out, he approached her.

"What was that about if i may ask?" He asked.

"Oh hey it's you, i never got your name" Twilight said.

"I'm Muyo, not to be nosy but what was that about?' He asked.

"I got two tickets for the gala but all my friends want to go, they all have good reasons" She explained.

"And their reasons are?" He asked.

"Why do you want to know?" She asked.

"I want to help, i met them too, so would you let me help?" He explained then asked.

"Sure, although i can't think straight when i'm hungry" She said to him.

"Neither can i, there's a restaurant near by, let's go there" He told her.

Twilight nods and they go to that restaurant, she tells him their reasons.

"I understand these reasons but i have to wonder, are they sure that what they are hoping to find will be there?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"First of all, how is AJ so sure that she'll get any buisness in the gala? I heard that Canterlot ponies are snobs" He asked then said.

"I'm from Canterlot" She said.

"You are? I'd ask more but let's focus on the matter at hand" He said.

"Right... Muyo... Am i snobbish? Or anything like some of the sophisticated ones?" She asked.

"Honestly, your not, just be yourself Twilight, that's what's important" He told her.

"Ug your so cheesy" Spike said.

The waiter comes and asks if she made her decision, she shouted that she can't.

"He just wants your order" Spike said.

She places her order, Muyo orders a HLT, hay lettuce and tomato sandwich, the waiters asks about the rain, they look up and sees the Rainbow Dash opened a hole in the clouds.

"Hi again Muyo and best friend i ever ever had, enjoying the sunny weather?" She asked.

"How did you?" Muyo asked.

After a conversation RD closes the hole, Muyo warned her not to but got rained on.

"That is why i advised not to close it" He said.

Rarity approaches and takes them both to her home. Both dry up but get Rarity wet. She doesn't mind it but she has Twilight wear an outfit, even had Spike and Muyo wear outfits for the gala as well, Spike leaves but Muyo stays, he suspected Rarity's true intentions, Twilight figured out her plan as he figured, AJ pulls Twilight when she approached the door, Twilight runs in frustration.

"Rarity, Applejack i think your both pushing it, she told me your reasons but please cut her some slack" He told.

"I appreciate your concern, really i do, but i must get that ticket" AJ said to him.

"It's kind of you to be helping Twilight, but i must meet my one true love" Rarity said.

"I think your getting your hopes way too up" He thought.

He catches up to Twilight who just found Fluttershy cleaning for the ticket, then Pinkie came, after a shout and Pinkie telling everymare about the gala, Twilight and Spike start running, Muyo follows, once Twilight and Spike got cornered, Muyo threw a teleport crystal that caused Twilight to teleport home with Spike. Twilight has Spike close everything, Muyo makes it in time and helps, then Twilight sees her friends. After a friendship lesson and Celestia sending them and Spike tickets they treat Twilight for dinner, they invite Muyo for being a good friend.

"Sorry that you didn't get a ticket" said Rarity.

"It's ok, i'm happy that you all got the tickets" He said.

"Your a good friend Muyo" Twilight said.

"Why don't you hang with us? Better than being by yourself" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I'd love too" He said.

Twilight thinks for a bit, she writes a letter to Celestia, it reads.

*Dear princess Celestia, could you give my new friend Muyo a ticket too? He's been a great help to me, he's very kind too, i think i could learn something from him, your faithful student Twilight Sparkle*
