A New Friend

It was a bright sunny day but sadly a storm was scheduled to hit, the pegasi where gathering the clouds in the sky, other ponies were removing loose branches so they wouldn't hurt others, even Muyo was doing his part unlike a certain unicorn who did the opposite by putting the branches back up and making them pretty, Applejack approached said unicorn.

"Just take the broken limbs down Rarity." AJ said to her.

Muyo was near but busy clearing the branches.

"Don'y y'all care about nothing other than prettyfying?" AJ asked her.

"Somepony has too, you are making an absolute mess of the town square Applejack." Rarity said.

"Yeah well the storm is gonna make an even bigger mess if we don't pull all these loose branches so they won't tumble down on anypony." AJ explained.

"I have to agree with AJ." Muyo said while removing loose branches on the tree.

"Get down before you get hurt." Rarity said to him.

Muyo jumps down and lands on his hooves.

"You were saying?" He asked.

"Anyway, i simply cannot imagine why the pegasus ponies would schedule a dreadful downpour this evening and ruin what could have been a glorious sunny day." Rarity said.

"Think more practical like will ya? They accidentally skipped a scheduled sprinkle last week, so, we need a doozy of a downpour to make up for it is all." AJ explained.

Just as she finished talking it started to rain.

"I still don't get how the pegasus can move clouds, it violates the laws of something." Muyo said in his head.

"Oh no! My wonderfully styled mane shall be ruined!" Rarity said.

"You should've hurried up and finished the job already, like Muyo here." AJ said to her.

Rarity panics and scatters about.

"Help me!" Rarity shouted.

Muyo and AJ looked around, Muyo spots an table and points at it.

"There, good find Muyo." AJ said.

"Muyo thanks." He thanked.

"Hunkerdown to you're heart's content while we finish this." AJ said to Rarity.

Rarity runs to it but sees mud.

"Oh no no noooo." Rarity shouted.

"What now?" AJ asked.

"I prefer not to get my hooves muddy." Rarity answered.

"Ugh, some mares, Rarity is just not my type." Muyo said mentally.

"There's just no pleasing you is there? Everything's gotta be just so." AJ asked her.

"Like a certain fandom i know." Muyo thought mentally.

"Well how does muddying my hooves serve any useful purpose?" Rarity asked.

"Y'all wouldn't know useful if it came up and bit ya." AJ said.

*Rarity chuckled*

"That doesn't even make any sense." Rarity said.

They both start bickering then stare at each other.

"What's say, we go our separate ways before one of us says something she will regret?" Rarity asked.

"I reckon ya'll are gonna say somethin' you'll regret first!" AJ said.

"Girls..." Muyo called out.

"On the contrary, i believe it shall certainly be you, who says something you will regret first!" Rarity said.

"Girls..!" Muyo called out again.

"I am not saying anything." AJ said.

"Nor am i!" Rarity said back.

"Ya'll just be on you're way then!" AJ said.

"After you." Rarity said.

Both mares back away from each other, Muyo sighs until suddenly a thunderclap startled both mares, causing them to rush back to Muyo and held on to him tight.

"Perhaps we should stick together for now and find some shelter." Rarity said shaking.

"Uh-huh, perhaps we should... And fast." AJ said.

Muyo could not stop blushing, being hugged tight by two ladies always excited him.

"Let's find shelter." Muyo said feeling nervous.

"Why do you sound so nervous? Never got touched by another mare before?" AJ asked teasing.

"Hmm, now that i feel you Muyo there's something about you, oh but this rain doesn't let me think straight." Rarity said.

"Can we please focus?" Muyo asked politely.

AJ got under the table, suddenly they hear Twilight calling there names.

"Applejack! Rarity! Muyo!" Twilight called.

"Twilight?" The three asked.

"Come inside you three quick." She said to them.

The three run to her house, AJ and Muyo stopped at the entrance.

"Let me clean my hooves first." Muyo said grabbing a nearby hose.

"Is inside a tree really the best place to be in a lightning storm?" AJ asked.

"It is if you have a magical lightning rod protecting you're home like i do, come on in." Twilight explained.

"We are most grateful for you're invitation." Rarity said.

"Thank ya kindly for the hospitality." AJ said coming in.

Rarity stops AJ and points at her muddy hooves.

"uh, do be a polite house guest and go wash up please won't you?" Rarity said to AJ.

AJ groaned.

"If i gotta spend one more second with that fussbudget Rarity today, i can't be held responsible for what i'm gonna do." AJ muttered.

"Relax AJ, tough it out." Muyo whispered.

"I'll try." AJ whispered back.

"Some storm huh? The pegasus ponies sure have outdone themselves this time, i hope you three don't have any trouble getting home." Twilight said.

"It may indeed be a problem." Rarity said.

"It wouldn't be a first for me to run home in the rain." Muyo said.

"Well you're both welcome to stay if need be, Spike is away in Canterlot on royal business, i'm home all alone tonight." Twilight said.

"Really? Well in that case i-" Muyo was gonna say till Twilight gasped.

"You two and Applejack should totally sleepover! We'll have a slumber party, i've always wanted one of those!" Twilight said.

"A... Slumberparty?" Muyo asked slightly disappointed.

"Oh oh goodness, uh i do believe i have another engagement scheduled for this evening that completely slipped my mind till just now hahaha silly me, i can't possibly stay here all night, with Applejack."

"I heard that." Muyo muttered.

Twilight takes a book from the shelf and shows it to Muyo and Rarity.

"Slumber 101, all you ever wanted to know about slumberparties but were afraid to ask." Rarity read.

"Please let Twilight not have Sex 101 in this library." Muyo said very quietly.

"What did you say? I didn't catch that." Rarity asked him.

"N-Nothing." Muyo answered.

"My own personal copy, it's a fantastic reference guide, you should see the table of contents, i've been waiting for a chance to use it, and today's the day, this is gonna be so great." Twilight said happily.

"Yes great." Rarity said laughing nervously.

"Well i guess i better head home then." Muyo said.

"Can't you stay for the slumber party? I invited you too." Twilight asked.

"Isn't a slumber party for mares only?" Muyo asked.

"No, the book doesn't mention anything like that." Twilight answered.

"Let me see?" Muyo asked.

Twilight gives him the book, he checks every page.

"Who ever wrote this was definitly open minded." Muyo said.

"So you'll stay?" Twilight asked.

"I-I can't." Muyo answered.

"Please?" Twilight asked.

"Look there a things in a slumber party i could never do, like make overs, see my mane? This style takes a lot of care to make it this way, it's a style based on an old friend of mine's hair." Muyo explained.

"You sound like you know i thing or two about mane care." Rarity said.

"T-That's besides the point." Muyo said.

"Come on Muyo, please?" Twilight asked.

Muyo stood quiet, Twilight approached him, she directed his gaze to her, they looked at each other in the eyes.

"This is my first slumber party, i insist that you stay, for me?" Twilight asked.

Muyo's heart beat fast as he saw the sparkles in her eyes.

"Twilight... I'll be honest, i do want to spend time with you, but there's something i'm looking for, and i want to get started on it." He explained.

"Can it wait?" She asked.

"I'm afraid that the longer i take, the less chance i have of finding it, it's best you're first slumber party be done properly, if this turns out to be a success i'll have a slumber party with you, ok?" He explained.

Twilight kept a small smile but was obviously disappointed.

"Promise you'll have a slumber party with me?" Twilight asked.

"Promise, i keep my promises." He answered.

"What exactly are you looking for?" Twilight asked.

"Something that belongs in here." He answered pointing at his heart.

He leaves into the rain, Twilight continues her slumber party without him but holding on to his promise. Muyo arrives home, he looks for a map of Equestria, after finding it he takes out a piece of Trixie's broken wagon.

"If i can find the tracks and assuming she has obtained a new wagon, i'll have go to Hoofington to search." Muyo thought out loud.

"Found you're new love already brother?" A green coated stallion asked behind him.

"Hello brother, a little early for a visit." Muyo greeted.

"So who's the lucky lady you have you're heart set on?" Connor asked him.

"Actually i think i have my heart set on two but i'm not sure yet." Muyo answered.

"Two already? Let me guess, starting out as just friends?" Connor asked.

"With Twilight Sparkle yes but Trixie, i want her to accept my friendship first, then my love." Muyo explained.

"Why do i feel that you'll have a total of 40 mares to choose from in the end?" Connor asked.

"Oh please." Muyo answered.

"Don't deny it, you got a passionate heart, a natural mare magnet but holding it back." Connor said to him.

Muyo looks out the window and sees the sky clear, he sees AJ and Rarity leave Twilight's house.

"Which is it? The orange one? Or is it the white one? That purple one that's staring back and waving?" Connor asked.

"Stay here, i have a promise to keep." Muyo said as he left.

He approached Twilight who was very happy.

"How did it go?" Muyo asked.

Twilight tells him everything that happened.

"Wow." Muyo reacted.

"So will you be coming to tomorrow night's slumber party? Just us." Twilight asked.

"Sure, my search will begin after that slumber par-" He answered till Twilight hugged him very tight.
