That is the prophecy placed on Alduin's Wall in the old temple of the Blades in Skyrim. It tells of when a war upon the great land appears, the Dragons will appear. And the worst of all of the Dragons is Alduin The World-Eater. Alduin planned as soon as the Sons of Skyrim spilled their own blood, he'd destroy the world of Nirn.

But luckily, a hero would emerge and defeat him to save Nirn. A hero born with the body of a man and the soul of a Dragon. The Dragonborn. And one day, the Dragonborn did emerge. A Nord by the name of Galar Ironforge took the name. He discovered that he was Dragonborn when he slayed a Dragon outside of Whiterun. Galar absorbed the soul of the Dragon and then.... his great journey began.

But he wasn't alone on this great journey to defeat Alduin. Galar earned the help of Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak and the Stormcloak Army, which he quickly rose up through the ranks to general, the Greybeards, a group of Nords who mastered the Thu'um that live on High Hrothgar, two Dragons named Paarthurnax and Odahviing, and the three legendary warriors, he slayed Alduin and saved his planet of Nirn. After fulfilling his destiny, Galar now wonders the land of Skyrim as a roaming adventurer. But today, his destiny might still be unfulfilled.

It was a cool, lovely day in Skyrim. The birds sang their harmonic songs, the fish swam through the rivers, and it was a perfect day for adventuring. Walking across the road from Riverwood was Galar.

Galar Ironstone was wearing his Stormcloak General armor which was made from the pelt of a Bear combined with metal. Equipped to his waist was a Steel Sword created in the Skyforge of the Companions of which he was named the harbinger after their leader, Kodlak Whitemane died. Right now, Galar was staring at his map of Skyrim as he tried to find a crypt his friend and ally, Ralof told him about before he left Riverwood.

Alright. Now Ralof said that this crypt was somewhere around here. If my map's right, it's located in the forest. He thought as he looked at the old piece of paper. Slowly, he walked away from the road and into the forest next to it. He actually enjoyed the sound of the leaves crackling and the twigs snapping under his boots as he walked through the forests of Skyrim for it reminded him of how much he loved to play in the forest when he was younger.

As he walked though the walls of trees, he heard the sounds of nature around him. Birds chirping around him, Rabbits and Foxes running across the ground, and the wind swaying through the branches of trees. It's amazing how good silence can be. He thought as he kept his hand on his sword in case he was ambushed by a predator or bandit.

"Is that door open yet?" He heard a raspy voice ask. Being quick, he hid behind a tree and slowly peered around it to see who spoke. He saw an Argonian with light green scales and curled horns next to an Orc with dark brown skin and it was bald with red war paint. Both of the bandits were wearing leather armor and the Argonian was armed with a sword while the Orc had an axe.

Just what I needed. Bandits. He thought angrily as he quietly drew his weapon.

"Not yet. You could help me you know." The Orc said in a deep baritone voice as it tried to pry the door open with a thick branch.

"I am helping. I'm motivating you. Now hurry up!" The Argonian yelled making the Orc groan in irritation. Knowing that this was the crypt Ralof spoke about, Galar quickly took action. With his weapon drawn, he walked out from behind the tree and got the attention of the bandits.

"Well what do we have here? A lost little Nord?" The Argonian asked sarcastically as it drew his sword. The Orc dropped the branch and drew his axe.

"Well now at least I can have a break from working so hard. May I have the first try?" The Orc asked the lizard man.

"Be my guest." He replied with a smile. The Orc then charged at Galar with his axe raised above his head hoping to cleave his head off. But Galar dodged the strike and swiped the Orc's back with his sword making him scream in pain. The Orc turned around with rage in his eyes and Galar knew that he'd just made the Orc go berserk. The Orc then roared in anger as he slashed wildly at the Nord who dodged every swing. But then as the Argonian joined the Orc who had Galar cornered against a tree with their weapons drawn, the Nord used his very first and powerful shout he had.

"FUS RO DAH!" He shouted. A massive shockwave appeared and sent the Argonian and Orc flying backwards into the crypt's wall. The Orc stayed down as his bloodied corpse laid slumped against the wall of the crypt. But the Argonian got up from where he laid but was severely injured as he coughed up blood.

"Y-you're the Dragonborn. I-I thought you were just a myth." The Argonian said in shock and pain as he held his ribs.

"Sometimes, a myth can be a truth." Galar said as he walked up to the wounded Argonian. He then drove his sword through the Argonian's stomach making it groan before he fell to the ground with a thump. Galar removed his sword from the corpse and walked up to the crypt's door. He then began to examine the writing of the door that was written in the language of Dragons.

Now let's see here. Now the way to.....Ah, the door can only be opened by the blood of the Dragonborn. No wonder these thugs couldn't open it. He thought as he released a chuckle. As soon as he pulled out his Skyforge Steel Dagger, he made a small cut on his hand and quickly his crimson blood leaked from the wound. He then saw a small bowl and placed his hand over it and as soon as the blood dripped into the bowl, the door slowly opened.

I guess there are a lot of good things to being a Dragonborn. Galmar thought as he placed the knife back in his inventory and pulled out his torch. He then slowly but surely walked into the crypt wondering what was in it.

Ironhoof Crypt

Galar was amazed at what he saw inside the crypt as the ember glow of the torch shined on everything around him. On the walls were carvings deep in the stone. They had some sort of language that was unlike anything they had ever seen before. But the carvings were what drew his attention. They showed a race of what looked like bipedal, equine-like creatures that came in many forms with different features. Those included regular equines, equines with eagle-like wings, equines with a spiral horn in the center of their heads, and two equines with both wings and a horn. What really stunned him was as he walked down the corridor of the crypt was that he saw the creatures had built great cities.

Interesting. It looks like these creatures had a society like Skyrim or possibly the Imperial Empire. He thought as he looked at the carvings. But then he saw in a few carvings something that confused and shocked him. He saw the two winged and horned creatures clad in armor, armed with swords battling "Alduin? That's impossible!" Galar said in shock as he observed the carving of the two creatures swinging their swords at a massive Dragon.

"There's no history of this! So how can this be?!" He asked himself as he placed his hand on the carving, feeling the chiseled stone. But then as he reached the end of the corridor, he saw a massive room. In this room were two chests. One had a sun on its lid and the other a moon. But behind the chests was a large, circular device.

"By the nine." He said in amazement and shock as he walked towards the three objects. He placed his torch in his inventory and keeled towards one of the two chests. On its lid was a bright yellow sun with orange waves surrounding it. He slowly lifted the lid. Inside the chest he found a sword that matched the one in the carving.

That creature left its gear here. Why? He asked himself as he observed the blade. Its hilt was white as snow while the blade was shining gold. The pommel of the blade was a sun that matched the one on the chest. He placed that on the ground and he reached back into the chest. The blade glowed orange meaning it was enchanted with fire. He then pulled out a set of armor, boots, and a helmet. All of the set was tinted a shining white and rimmed with gold.

Interesting design. But I don't think that the creature would want me to wear this. He thought as he placed the armor in his inventory with the sword. He then walked over to the other chest and opened it. Out of it he pulled another sword that matched the other creature's blade but this sword was dark blue and black. Its grip was black and the pommel was a crescent moon. He didn't see a glow on it like the other blade but he still decided to keep it. After he placed the blade on the stone ground, he pulled out armor that matched the other armor but it was dark blue and black. He then placed the armor in his inventory along with the other sword and armor.

Galar then paid his attention to the large circular device that stood behind the chests. As he observed it, he noticed writing that he could understand. It was the language of Dragons.

"To those who have the Dragon's soul, may your blood give you the power to activate our device. It shall teleport you to our home world and all your equipment shall come with you. May we warn you that it might change you in some way. Those creatures, they built this?" He asked himself as he looked at the device. He then noticed the device had next to it a small button. Gently and cautiously, he reached for the button and with his palm, he pressed it down. He sighed in relief as he started to pull his hand back. But then to his surprise, a large spike erupted from where the button was and impaled his hand sending blood into the air.

"DAMN!" He screamed as he pulled his hand back and fell on his rump. He watched as the red liquid began to flow through the device. He then heard the machine hum lightly. He rose to his feet as he heard the hum grow louder with every second. Then, a bright light appeared and in the center of the device was a flowing blue light.

"Amazing." He said as he walked towards the device with a smile on his face. As he stood a foot away from the portal, he then closed his eyes slowly, took in a deep breath, and walked into the light. But then, everything went black.

It was a nice, warm summer day in Ponyville. The birds sang as they flew through the sky, Celestia's sun shined brightly across Equestria, and everypony was having fun. But just heading to the gem fields was the Unicorn Rarity and her Dragon friend Spike.

"Thank you for coming along with me Spike. I really appreciate it." Rarity said to the teenage Dragon as he pulled a small wagon behind him.

"No problem Rarity. I always love helping you. So how many gems do we need to gather?" He asked her.

"Not a lot. Just a few to fill the wagon. Then I'll reward you with a nice, tasty gem." She replied making his mouth water. Rarity then let out a small chuckle making Spike smile. The two then walked right into the gems fields. Rarity's horn then lit into a light blue aura as she activated her gem seeking spell.

"So Rarity, I need to ask you something." Spike said to her.

"Oh. What is it Spike?" She asked as she walked around the fields.

"Well.... have you been.... seeing somepony?" He asked in replying as he scratched the back of his head.

"Not yet. But I've been trying my hardest to find the right stallion." She replied boldly.

Now's your chance Spike. Tell her how you feel. Spike thought to himself as he tried to find courage.

"AHA!" Rarity yelled before Spike could say anything.

Nevermind. He thought as he walked over to her. When he was beside her, she pointed to a spot near a decayed tree. He walked over to the spot and using his sharp but durable claws, he dug like a dog digging a bone up. After a minute of digging, he found a pile of gems of all shapes, sizes and colors. His mouth began to water heavily as he looked at the shining rocks.

"Spike." Rarity said loudly making groan. He picked up the gems and placed them back in the wagon.

"Excellent. Now come along Spike, we need to find a few more gems." She said as her horn lit up again. Then for the next few minutes, the two nearly emptied a large section of the gem fields as they discovered a lot of gems. When the two were done, Rarity and Spike collected a lot of gems that filled the wagon to the point to where the gems nearly fell out of the wagon.

"I think we made some excellent progress today Spike." Rarity said with a smile.

"I think so too." He said back.

"Oh. And here's your reward." She said as she pulled a large sapphire from the wagon and gave it to Spike. His eyes widened with joy as a smile grew on his face. He took the gem and placed it in his pocket.

"Thanks Rarity." He said to her with a smile. But before she could say something back to him, the ground in front of her erupted. When the dirt and dust cleared, she gasped in horror at what she saw. It was a Diamond Dog. But unlike any other Diamond Dog, this looked looked... wild. Its fur was black and rugged, its eyes were blood red, on its paws were razor black claws, in its mouth were fangs large enough to pierce through a pony's body. But the frightening part was the way it looked at her. As if... it wanted to eat her. As it walked towards Rarity with a snarl, Spike ran in front of her.

"KEEP AWAY FROM HER!" He roared as he swiped at the Dog with his claws. But the Dog grabbed his arm and tossed him against a boulder knocking him out.

"SPIKE!" Rarity screamed. She then turned and tried to run. But the Diamond Dog clipped her leg with its claws making her fall to the ground. She looked up to see the Dog licking its lips as it prepared to devour her.

"HELP!"

A massive pain surged through the skull of Galar. As if he was flattened under the backside of a Mammoth. But he was able to manage through it and opened his eyes slowly. His vision was a bit blurry but he saw when it cleared that he wasn't in the crypt anymore for sure. Instead, he was in a grey place with massive boulders and dead trees surrounding him.

"That d-device didn't lie. I've n-never seen anyplace like t-this before." He said as he got up. His head was still sore but he was able to manage to get through the pain.

Now what did that portal mean by change? He asked himself in his thoughts. He looked at his arm and his eyes widened in surprise at what he saw. Instead of having his tan skin, he had tan fur.

"What the-" He started as he felt the smooth and glossy fur. He then saw a small puddle of water that would've acted great for a mirror. He ran to it and looked straight into the water. To his surprise, he now knows what he meant by change. His whole form changed. His skin changed into tan fur that was short and glossy, his face extended into a muzzled like a horse's, he pulled down the bear head that covered the top of his head to see that his black, long hair went into a mane, his ears pointed and relocated to the sides of his head, his left eye that was milky white still had a scar running down it, on his chin was a black goatee, he looked down to see his legs have turned into that of a horse with lightly tanned hooves, and a long, black tail erupted from his backside. He wanted to freak out, but then he remembered the carvings on the crypt wall.

"I'm... one of those creatures." He said in shock as he looked at the puddle.

"HELP!" A feminine voice screamed. Galar quickly rose up and saw another creature about to be devoured by a canine-like creature. Galar quickly ran towards the scene but then decided to speed things up a bit.

"WULD NAH KEST!" He shouted. Then he moved faster than a Sabre Cat on the hunt. He neared the beast and when he was about to run into it, he held his arms open and tackled the beast away from the creature. The two skidded before they were able to quickly get on their feet.

As he rose, Galar quickly pulled out his dagger preparing for a fight with this animal. The canine began to circle him as it snarled like an angry Dog.

"Come on. Let's dance." Galar taunted the beast as it looked at him with its bloody red eyes. It then charged at him on four legs. But Galmar sidestepped and slashed the Dog's arm making a small line of blood fall to the ground. The beast looked at its wound and growled him with his bloody knife in hand. It charged him again but as Galar tried to dodge, it managed to grab him and bring him down. Galar's dagger flew from his hand but that didn't mean he could hold back the beast's head with his hands. Froth flew from the beast's mouth as it snapped its giant jaws and fangs at him. Galar reacted quickly by scooping up dirt in his hand and throwing it in the beast's eyes making it roar in irritation as it tried to wipe the dirt from its eyes. Galar got up and with his spiked gloves, he began to slam his fists into the beast's chest making light spurts of blood fall from the beast. Then as he went to throw a punch, the beast caught his arm and tossed him like a doll making him slam into a rotting tree. Galar's vision was blurry but he definitely saw the beast charging him. He then saw his dagger and picked it up. Using his aim, he threw the dagger hoping to hit the beast. And to his luck, the dagger struck the beast in the skull making it go limp and skid across the ground.

Now that's what I call playing dead. He thought as he got up. He walked over to the beast and removed his dagger from the beast's skull, making a small blood stream leak from the hole. He placed the dagger back in his inventory and noticed the creature was gone.

"LAAS YA NIR!" He shouted. Then as he looked around, he noticed two auras coming from behind a boulder. He knew one was the creature, but he drew his sword for the second one. He slowly walked towards the boulder hoping that the creature was alright. He turned the corner of the boulder and saw the creature and a reptilian creature like an Argonian but with purple scales and green spines. As he tried to approach the two, the equine creature's horn lit up a bright blue.

"Stay back!" It threatened. It was the owner of the feminine voice so it was a female.

"Easy. I'm not going to harm you. I want to help." He said as he backed up in a gentle voice.

"Or do you just want to kill me like the Diamond Dog?!" It asked as its horn grew brighter.

"I'm sorry I had to do that. But it looked like it was going to kill you." He replied.

"But it didn't deserve to die! It needed roughed up and it would've stopped!" It said angrily.

"I....I'm sorry. I understand if you think what I did was wrong." He started as he began to walk away. "I was just trying to help you." He said as he began to walk away. He didn't turn around to look at the creature as he walked away from it.

"What is your name?" It asked. He stopped and slowly turned around. He saw it had a face of curiosity.

"I asked you a question and I'd like you to answer it. What is your name?" It asked again. Galar slowly walked back towards it as its horn dimmed.

"It's Galar. Galar Ironforge." He replied to her question.

"My name's Rarity. And even though what you did was wrong. I still want to thank you for saving me." It said back with a little smile.

"Your welcome Rarity. Now, can you tell me about your friend?" He asked as he looked at the reptilian creature who was unconscious.

"Oh. His name's Spike. And he's a Dragon." She replied. Galar's eyes widened in surprise.

A DRAGON?! THAT'S NOT ANY KIND OF DRAGON I'VE SEEN! He screamed in his thoughts. He then looked down at Rarity's leg and saw four scratch marks.

"Your leg." He said as he got a little closer to her.

"If only I brought my medical supplies." Rarity said sadly.

"Rarity, allow me." He said as he gently touched her leg.

"W-what are you going to do?" She asked in a scared voice.

"Just hold still. I promise you it won't hurt." He replied. She only looked at her leg but was amazed at what she saw. She watched as his hands were embedded in an amber glow. But she was surprised to watch her wounds heal instantly. When he was done, her eyes were wide and her jaw dropped.

"How did you do that?!" She asked in amazement.

"Restoration magic." He replied.

"B-but Earth Ponies can't do magic!" She yelled.

Pony. So that's what these creatures are called. He thought as he looked at Rarity. But then he heard the groaning of pain coming from Spike.

"I think he's waking up." He said as he looked at the Dragon. As Spike's eyes opened, Galar noticed that they were green with reptilian slits.

"R-Rarity." He groaned.

"Oh my. Galar, do you can help me life him?" Rarity asked.

"Of course." He replied as he helped her up. The two then helped up Spike who was still a bit dizzy.

"Rarity, who's this?" Spike asked in a groggy voice.

"His name's Galar. And he saved us." She replied as she looked at the tan pony.

"Nice to meet you Galar." He said with a smile on his face.

"Nice to meet you too Spike." Galar said back.

"Well, I think we should head back to Ponyville. Galar, would you like to come with us?" Rarity asked him with generosity in her voice.

"Why not." He replied.

"Excellent. Now Spike, grab the gems and we can get going." She said to the Dragon. Spike then grabbed the small wagon of gems and the three began to head towards what he heard Rarity say 'Ponyville'.
