Morning. A time of awakening. The signal of a new day's starting. And for Galar, it meant he was still alive. Galar laid in the soft bed inside the guest room of Rarity's house. He silently slept with his hand at his sword in case someone tried to kill him in his sleep. But then, a ray of sunlight sneaked through the window of the room and struck his eyes. He then opened them and rose from where he laid, placing his new hooves on the ground.

A new day. But not where I want it to be. He thought as he stared out the window at the streets of Ponyville. He then brought himself up from the bed and walked out of the room. As he headed downstairs, a scent struck his nose like a warhammer. A very, delicious smell. He then headed down the stairs, following the scent of food and saw Rarity doing what could be described as cooking. Silently, he walked towards her, trying to make as little noise as possible. Suddenly as he neared her, she turned her head to see him.

"Oh. Morning Galar." She said to him with a smile.

"Morning Rarity." He said back. "I was wondering what you were cooking."

"Oh. Just a couple of eggs. Go ahead and sit over at the table. It's almost ready." She said as she pointed towards a large, wooden table. He did as she instructed and walked towards the table. Galar pulled out a chair and sat down in it. Not soon after, Rarity came over with a plate of what were cooked eggs and placed it in front of him.

"Enjoy." She said as she walked into the other room. He grabbed a fork that laid on the table and began to eat. He actually loved the taste of the eggs. The spices that she placed on them really added to the flavor.

It's different from Skyrim cooking, but it's good. He thought as he swallowed a mouthful of eggs. After a minute, he ate all the eggs on his plate and was now happy that he had a full stomach. Rarity then came into the room and took the plate and fork from him.

"Thank you Rarity. Those were delicious." He said with a smile in a happy voice.

"Your quite welcome." She said as she placed the dishes in warm water. Rarity then came over to the table and sat down.

"Galar, since you're not well.... Equestrian, I think you'll need to learn a few things about our society and history." She said to him in a serious voice.

"Alright. I'll listen. Can you start me off with the history?" He asked.

"Of course." She replied. "The world that you are now on Galar is called Equis because of it's equine creatures. And the continent that we are on is called Equestria. The rulers of Equestria are two royal Alicorns who've ruled for thousands of years. Their names are Celestia, who controls the sun, and Luna, who controls the moon. They've made sure that Equestria is safe for everypony that lived here." She started.

"So your rulers, they're also guardians?" Galar asked.

"Sort of. They do protect us, but they really don't fight. They have the best soldiers in Equestria. Anyway, Equis has a lot of races of beings living on it. There's ponies, which is what you and me are, the Zebras, the Buffalo, the Dragons, the Crystal Ponies, the Diamond Dogs, and the Changelings. But not all of our history is good. There's a few...rough spots in our history. But, we've managed to get through it." She said to him.

"What... rough spots?" He asked in curiosity.

"Well, there was when Nightmare Moon appeared and tried to take Equestria into eternal night, when King Sombra enslaved the Crystal Empire, and when Discord tried to put Equestria into his realm of chaos. But those have passed and now Equestria's back to normal." She replied.

"Interesting. Well Equestria has no history like my home world." Galar exclaimed.

"Why? What's the history of your world?" She asked him.

"Well... my home world is called Nirn and the continent I live on was called Tamriel. Tamriel though isn't a nice place like here in Equestria. Tamriel is a place filled with war and death. It's seen many wars. The recent one was won a year ago by the Stormcloak Army which I was in. But wars aren't the only things that nearly destroyed Tamriel. A year ago, the Dragons came back." He replied.

"But why are Dragons returning a bad thing?" She asked.

"Because Tamriel's Dragons aren't anything like Equestria's Dragons. The Dragons of Tamriel are ruthless monsters that want to see Nirn go up in flames." He replied making Rarity swallow a lump in her throat.

"Oh my." She said as she grew pale.

"Sorry if I scared you. But it's the truth." He said.

"It's fine. But those Dragons sound like monsters." She exclaimed.

"They are. But luckily. I was able to stop them from destroying Nirn." He said proudly.

"Really? How?" She asked in curiosity.

"In Skyrim, there was a prophecy. That a hero with the body of man and the soul of a Dragon would slay the Dragons and save Nirn. I'm the hero. In the language of Dragons, I'm known as the Dovahkiin or when translated the Dragonborn. That ability I used yesterday is called a Thu'um or a shout." He explained.

"Interesting. And yet it is good that you saved your world. So what are the races of Nirn?" She asked.

"There's the Nords, which I was once before I landed here, which are hearty warriors from Skyrim, the Argonians which are lizard men who inhabit Black Marsh, the Dark Elves who once inhabited Morrowind but left after the eruption of the Red Mountain, the Bosmer or Wood Elves that once came from Valenwood,  the Altmer or High Elf that came from Summerset Isle, the Orsimer or Orcs that came from Orsinium, the Khajiit which hail from Elsweyr, the Imperial which hails from Cyrodil, the Bretons which are from High Rock, and the Redguards which are from Hammerfell. All of these races can be located in Skyrim." He replied.

"Interesting." She said. She then looked up at a mechanical device and gasped. "Oh no! I'm going to be late!" She screamed as she got up from the chair.

"What's wrong?" Galar asked her.

"I'm going to be late for a meeting with my friends! Can you handle yourself here?" She asked him.

"Of course. I'll keep an eye on the house while you head out." He replied.

"Thank you. I'll see you later." She said as she headed out the door.

"Goodbye!" He yelled as Rarity went out the door. When she was out of sight, he pulled out a copy of 'The Lusty Argonian Maid' from his inventory and began to read. As he opened the book, he thought of what Rarity said.

There a few.... rough spots in our history.

If this place has rough history, then maybe it's a good thing I came here.

Meanwhile, in a cave located far from Ponyville, something was rising up from its slumber. As it rose from where it laid, it opened its massive, black wings. Its orange eyes glowing in the shadows of the cave. It took a sniff of the air before speaking.

"Dovahkiin. We meet again."
